Experiencia negativa: I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and follow-through from this HOA. There is supposedly a formal process to address complaints, yet I have opened six separate claims regarding the same issue and have not received a clear resolution. I was charged $100 for something that had already been corrected. When I reached out to dispute the charge, I was repeatedly asked to provide proof and documentation — which I completely understand and complied with. I submitted everything requested, and the matter was taken to the board. Since then, I have essentially been ghosted. It has now been over 60 days, and I still have not received a decision or explanation as to why I am being charged for something that was already resolved. The lack of communication, accountability, and timely response is unacceptable. Homeowners deserve transparency and proper follow-through, especially when being charged fees. I simply want a clear answer and fair resolution.
Experiencia fantástica: Associa South and our community manager, Caitlyn, have been doing an outstanding job since taking over. Transitions between management companies are usually a bit chaotic and stressful, but the Associa South team are doing an outstanding job to ensure this one is completely smooth. Our community manager, Caitlyn, is organized, informative, kind and incredibly patient, taking the time to answer resident questions and resolve issues with a calm, professional attitude. It's a breath of fresh air to have such a capable partner managing the Metropolis HOA.
Experiencia negativa: Not impressed left a message for a CALL back in December regarding coupon booklets for a January 1st payment. No call back but today 1/8 get a message in an app. Funny how they say they will return your call in 48 hours. Not the first time they have not lived up to their messages. As someone that spent my life in management and customer service I suggest whoever runs this company needs to do some house cleaning. I have lived in my community for 35 years and been through a few property management companies. This is my least favorite.
Experiencia negativa: This is because the company did not put the new owners name on the paperwork to be transfered to the new HOA and now the old owner has been billed and we have not received any billing.
Experiencia negativa: I have reached out multiple times to this HOA and the first time over a month ago never got a response. I reached out a second time again only for them to respond with a bare response that tells me nothing. My tree fell in my front yard over a month ago and I have reached out to find out what tree I have to put in my front yard so I can avoid a fine for not having the proper landscaping in the front yard of my house. If I were to put the wrong tree they could come to me later and fine and tell me to remove it. Then I’d have to pay a company twice to put a tree in plus a fine and I’m trying to avoid that. I reached out the second time as an urgent matter to try to not get fined. The response they gave me is it’s my financial responsibility to put my own landscaping in and it has to adhere to the rules and regulations…… Come on.. I never once asked them to pay for a tree on my property. I also have asked for the rules and regulations to ensure the correct landscaping. This HOA is far from supportive to the community only cares about taking our money. I have all my records. Any houses communities that need an HOA do not bring them in!!!
Experiencia negativa: This has been the worst HOA. They have transferred my account without transferring the credit to the new HOA and a battle to get my credit transferred, yet closed the account. They are so unprofessional it's a mystery how they are still in business
Experiencia negativa: No CCR'S--DISCRIMINATES--ILLEGAL TOWING OF AUTO WITH VISITOR PASS-( DOES NOT ADDRESS NEEDS OF THE OWNERS, WANT OWNERS TO HANDLE ISSUES WITH NEIGHBORS---THEY NEED TO DO---WON'T TAKE CARE OF PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, WANT THE OWNERS TO HANDLE (NOT)-DISRESPECTFUL @ MEETING, TURN HER BACK TO THE MEMBERS IN THE MEETING TIL LAST 15 MINUTES OF SESSION (HERRERA) refusing to give the Fobb key to the owner after receiving and cashing my check---took 3 weeks to get a visitor pass---then visitor auto was illegally towed---owner @ Pueblo x 20 years---gross conflict of interest--Board members are useless and keeps trouble going/ I think a case by case---sad ---jmp

Experiencia negativa: The worst HOA ever. I have been trying to get a refund check for nine months! I am always passed on to someone else. Leave voice mails. No phone numbers, nobody ever answers an email or a voicemail. Ready to call my attorney. I have been charged for my neighbors violations, a dead tree for years that was never dead, Weeds that were not weeds but part of our landscape, shrubs that were also part of our landscape that were never overgrown but fined for them, The list goes on and on. I would give Associa a negative star if I could.

Experiencia negativa: Had this management company for 10+ years at my HOA. Since 2020 they have done next to nothing. They don't reply to calls. They ignore posts on Town Sq app while the plants in my condo community die and the pool is surrounded by weeds and the bathrooms are full of old dried up leaves and dirt. Don't hire them unless you need no service at your HOA. My HOA just voted to leave them and take our business elsewhere Sept 2025

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at Latigo dose there work What I try to explain to people what goes on at other establishments. Does not go on here at latigo. I came outside my unit at 6:00 a.m. and my neighbor said my water's off and I said did you read the email? There's a water main break. People are not happy unless they're complaining about somebody or something that's going on. You got the email. It's like it's out of their hands. The water had to be shut off so they could fix the pipe. There's no sense in complaining about it. What's that doing? Nothing it has to be Period. Sherri sent out an email explaining the water will be shut off. It's out of her control when they decide they're going to shut it off, but people are not happy unless they're complaining. Makes no sense to me. Let's just move forward. It had to be done. It's getting fixed. Be happy that you'll have water this evening. It's not that necessary to get your feathers ruffled or in a bunch? When a few people approached me this morning I said look at your email. Did you get an email? I got an email saying it's going to be shut off. Unfortunately my crystal ball is broken. It's not going to save exact time when it's going to be done. You don't know Sherri has gone above and beyond notifying the residents about the water being shut off. There's good communication skills here. We can take this and learn from it. Learn from each other. There's so many other places that you're left in the dark, not knowing what is going on or anything. If you didn't get an email, I highly suggest that you go to the office or contact the office and make sure they have the right email address so you will be kept in the circle in the loop. If your email address is wrong, it's obviously you didn't get the email that was sent out yesterday about the water. Give her a break. She deserves some respect from each and every one of us you don't have to be nasty a little. Thank you. Goes a long way and I want to thank you for letting me know the water will be shut off. Life is too short to be angry all the time and people and it's out of their control at least as I was notified of the water being shut off. If you don't check your email, whose phone is it? It's not the office fault. It's your fault so be mad at yourself and not the office. I really like living here. The communication skills are great. The atmosphere is fantastic. When I ask a question I get an answer as soon as possible. There's never a delay so let's have some respect for the people in the office and stop being negative and be positive. It'd be a much better place Special thanks to Mario, Pedro, Marco and Sherri without everyone's effort, this place would fall apart, but it stays like a well-oiled machine. Sometimes. Yes we get a squeaky wheel but it's fixed rather quick. When was the last time you said thank you to Marco for trimming the bushes sweeping up the landscaping? When was the last time you said thank you to Pedro for breaking down under the furniture that's put into the trash cans? Experiencia negativa: Absolutely the worst service hands down! The property manager Shanice White absolutely refuses to return calls or interact with the homeowners. The area is poorly maintained, the pool and spa area is either closed or filthy. Bills are not being paid. Certified letters are being left unopened although signed for. There’s a lot of collusion going on with the few and the HOA board. To even question the lack of accountability the homeowners are accused of bullying. The worst gaslighting of all.

Experiencia negativa: This company does not act quickly when safety matters arise. The current CM is not normally available and calls are not returned when messages are left. Requests to change bulbs to provide safety when burned out takes 4 weeks and an escalated complaint letter to get bulbs replaced. Do NOT do business with this company unless you want your community overlooked for safety, burned out pool/jacuzzi/community lights, or not providing a safe uniformed equal brightness of lighting in all building and common area fixtures. These are still not changed and continue to put residents is danger!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Kris Smith was delightful and open to listening to our needs and helping us. She alerted Autumn Pacheco immediately regarding our needs. Autumn promptly set up an order request for us. We are still waiting for a resolution/response from our HOA.
Experiencia negativa: Our HOA president with a personal relationship with Associa brought them in and not one person had responded to my email since they took over. I have called, emailed, emailed again and yet nothing. We had a water main run for over a week with no response to the emergency line. We had a broken gate for a week with no response. The list goes on. Total disaster - do NOT bring them into your community.
Experiencia negativa: Pretty much terrible. Unresponsive and careless. Committed a huge data security breach by sending out exposed residential emails to the entire Resort Villas community, they should be fined for that. Screwed up elections ballots and timelines. A simply astounding pool of mismanagement.
Experiencia fantástica: We were having a hard time getting a response regarding some unpaid invoices. After reaching the correct party we were able to get assistance and issue was resolved in only a couple of weeks. We truly appreciate their attention to this matter.
Experiencia negativa: Man, I so rarely do this, but this is truly the poorest excuse for a company I’ve ever encountered. We built a house in one of these communities back in 2021 and since year one, like clockwork, every 2 months or so we’d get a weed violation. Now that’d be fine if there were actually weeds, but nope. Included pictures of what our house would typically look like. It honestly got so bad it started to feel like harassment. Literally would have these in our mailbox a week after doing 4 hours of yard work. Now for the kicker — we ended up deciding to sell the house. Come to find out there was 6 violations they never resolved on their end. Everytime I call these people, I get someone overseas who barely speaks english. You can’t get anyone who can actually resolve anything on the phone whatsoever . All they do is direct you to email. So I played their game. Sent my first email January 8th to get this resolved. I have been strung along that I will be included at “next meeting” or they “forgot” for the last 2 months. They made it clear they had everything on hold for me til resolution. Well, we close with the new buyer family in 2 DAYS and they still haven’t done ANYTHING. Of course my title company just received a bill from them yesterday for $1,000!!!! And STILL can’t get anyone on the phone who can tell me anything. These people are literally like the mafia and are getting away with legal theft because no one is monitoring them. I am so happy to get out of Vegas and I hope they mess with the wrong person soon and someone sues. They are a disgraceful excuse for an organization that is supposed to protect the pride of homeownership. We all work so hard to maintain our homes and protect our equity and they will steal it from you without blinking an eye, yet let landlords rent to people who don’t pull a weed for 2 years of living at a house and don’t receive this type of harassment. As long as they keep getting their checks right? LOL you guys are an absolute joke

Have reached out multiple times regarding a violation that they happened to change from being a satellite dish (not even my unit) to all of a sudden the garage door being an unapproved color. Mind you I have owned this property since 2015 and never had an issues with the color of the garage door. Poor management and communication.
Experiencia negativa: totally disagree with this association and violation. Alex said our garage door needed to be painting because of fading. There is very very little if any fading around one edge that could only be seen in direct sunlight and it you looked at it very hard to see. The garage door is fine and we are wasting hard earned money to paint a perfectly good door. I feel we are being singled out, because if I applied the same standards to others, every garage door you could find a defect. However, not everyone is getting this violation.. I know our next door neighbor is not. We are being discriminated by Alex and I may consider taking action because of this.

I have reached out by phone and email and they keep stating this is marked as an urgent ticket. It’s been 2 weeks and no one has called me back or corrected the issue. I have a newborn and I literally cannot get into my house. It’s crazyyyyyyy. Plus the guy I spoke to literally acted like he couldn’t care less. Yall suck
Experiencia negativa: Worst association ever. Don't warn or send email notifications to homeowners when they shut down the water. They fail to replace outside lighting that have burned out even after notification. Stuck with these rejects.
Experiencia negativa: No response to community assigned email or individual emails. They do not facilitate assistance in attending HOA board meetings either. I'll encourage our HOA to change companies at next opportunity.
Experiencia fantástica: Donna was very helpful in getting me the zoom call information and the meeting dates of the HOA as I live out of town. Donna is prompt to get back to you. I live in another state and Donna's accountability is a big plus for me.

I can't register at town square because my husband had all of that information on his phone, and he has passed away and I don't have his phone anymore. I have tried to change my information but it won't let me. Please advise me what to do.

I called in twice to find out the status of my ARC for my backyard and didn’t get a satisfied response so I went to the office and within couple hours Mrs Karla Gonzalez sent me the approval letter. Experiencia negativa: Impossible to get a hold of, especially if you are a tenant. They will not respond if you are a renter. If there is any issue regarding infractions of the CC&R, they will not communicate it to you. Be ready for unpleasant surprises, any new information or activity occurring within the HOA property will not be disclosed, for example, new signs, painting curbs, etc. as these things just pop up without notice. Don’t bother asking why, it’s a waste of your time. Stay clear if you can from these HOA managers, especially if you are renting.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible HOA company. If I could give a zero or negative rating, I would. They like to nitpick on everything and invade your privacy. They want to fine us (even though we're just renters) for having a gate cover. It's not trash, there's no weeds, everything's clean and presentable. Complete pettiness and overstepping of boundaries while invading what little privacy of our yard that we don't want anyone to see.

Have tried reaching out to this HOA ELEVEN times since July through multiple emails and by phone (it's now the middle of October) and not a SINGLE person has gotten back to us regarding their abhorrent care of our neighborhood... weeds 4 feet tall for months, dog poo everywhere, trash everywhere, broken carriage lights and caution tape around street lamps. Their slogan is "to bring impact and meaningful value to every community..." all they've provided is horrific service, no care, and made our brand new neighborhood property values plummet. Their VP of the company won't even respond to an email.

Over the course of two weeks, she helped me submit and process a yard modification application. I emailed her at least 10 times, at all random hours of the day, and she responded immediately each time with helpful feedback. I appreciate her prompt and thoughtful responses. Cindy at the office was also very helpful and kind. Keep up the great work, ladies!

Experiencia fantástica: Spoke with Donna at Associa (in Las Vegas) a few days ago. She was returning a call I placed over the weekend with "Rob" in Dallas, Texas. Donna could not have been nicer or any more helpful to me in addressing my concerns. Thanks Donna for your great customer service!
Experiencia fantástica: Alex was able to get lighting repaired/working at the three gates of entrance to the Preserve at Elkhorn Springs. The Hornblower Gate was absolutely dark including at the Pedestrian Walkway. Not all of the fixtures are burning because they are broken and haven't been replaced in years. For all of this I am grateful. Thank you Alex for taking care of the lights that could be repaired with light bulbs. However, it did take about two weeks before I ever received a response to my email. That is a big complaint of HO's. They communicate but do not get responses back. I did not receive an answer as to when the Board has discussed the repair of the Lighting, repair of the walls. Nor an answer as to when we will have some better communication in the form of newsletters for the homeowners.

Experiencia negativa: Associa Nevada South is the absolute worst management company. They cannot answer specific questions and refuse to communicate outside of emails. When that happens, they don’t even answer the questions left in numerous messages and attempts at rectifying a situation.

Experiencia negativa: Worst HOA management compay on the planet! Full Stop! The last manager failed to pay the health dept pool fee, so our pools were shut down for a month! Never will I join and HOA again that Asscia manages!! They never answer the phone. Take forever via email, and never answer a direct question with a straight answer.
Experiencia negativa: I would give zero stars if I could. This HOA is not good with direct communication and prefers to do everything through their app, so when you have anything to take care of with them, you are forced to deal with an app not people. When they took over from our prior HOA the handoff was terrible. I would advise anyone to avoid this HOA, their revenue model seems to be based off of fines hidden behind a bad app experience.
Experiencia negativa: Worst HOA I've ever had. The person inspecting the area tends to target certain homeowners for offenses. For instance...4 homes out of 8 in my block is placing their garbage cans where it can be seen from the street(side of the house). Only 1 receives a notice. Same story with landscaping. 4 homes needed the landscape done, the same house received a notice even though they had the least noticeable infraction. Be careful using this company as their practices will one day end up getting them in legal trouble.

Experiencia negativa: We've been trying to get a pool/amenity fob to work for our tenants for the past three weeks during 110-degree weather. Unfortunately, this straightforward issue remains unresolved due to their incompetence and apparent lack of concern. They don’t answer calls, and when they do respond to emails, it takes several days and we only receive generic, unhelpful replies. If you represent an HOA and are considering a change, please avoid this company. Having managed hundreds of homes over the years, I can confidently say these folks are the absolute worst. Please take this into consideration before making any decisions.
Experiencia negativa: This company runs the apartments i live in and their staff is incompetent and always causing problems. Everything in the community is broken all the time, the pool is never clean, they always have some silly rules and if they don't like the way you act they will fine you, oh and on top of that they will tow your car or your guests car like you don’t already pay thousands every month on where you live. I’d advise anyone to really think twice before renting ANYTHING they represent.

Then I called again to let them know that the problem was corrected, I was asked to submit a picture which I did. Again I was told that it would be reviewed and that you would let me know. I just received this email from you. Thank you. Please void the penalty, the garage door has been repaired. Again, thank you.

She was also quick to respond thru email and phone to answer our questions regarding what was needed to complete the project we submitted. I highly recommend her and appreciate all the help she extended to us.
Experiencia negativa: ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. I had an HOA issue that I attempted to deal with that took 2 weeks before I even heard any possible resolution. Two weeks of emailing with someone whose response was "I have notified the manager and will get back to you". This was the response for 1 week really because the second week I did not receive a response back to my follow up emails. Not only did it take 2 weeks for them to not rectify the situation, but to simply send me a form that I needed to fill out to be brought to someone else's attention, I also asked NUMEROUS times to speak to a manger directly. I was told the manager was notified that I wanted to speak with her but I never received a call. Either the woman I emailed with was lying to me or the manager completely ignored my request to speak with her. And there is no way to just be placed on hold and wait to speak to a manager. I was told they "don't have a way of transferring the call". Are you serious? What kind of office phone does not have the capability to transfer a call? This association is terrible and I would NEVER want to deal with them again. They just make your life as a homeowner more difficult and then they ignore you. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!

Greatly appreciate all her help and professionalism. Edit: After posting a positive review the quality of service was terrible. Before the review they responded promptly but once a positive review was provided I have not received a single response from La Toya Walker. They obviously only work for a good review then complete disregard you. Associa Nevada South should be avoided.

Experiencia negativa: An awful company as far as customer service is concerned. I closed my bank account, from which the monthly fees were withdrawn and opened another. I went to the office and signed a form, gave the receptionist a voided check, but nothing was done to update the info and $100 late fee accumulated. I was out of state for cancer treatment and did not know about that. A week ago, I gave them a check to pay for a few months ahead, but it has not been posted to my bank account.

Experiencia fantástica: We are residents @ The Tempo Development and we had started the ARC Approval Process which in the beginning was frustrating and moving very slow UNTIL we were contacted by Karla Gonzalez. Karla was more than helpful, friendly and efficient - just a joy to work with. She kept in constant contact with us and walked us through the process. Once she was handling our ARC Request it was approved in a timely manner!

I’ve been asking for 6 months now about my roof being fixed,from a storm that happened in September 2023, and there is ZERO response. The property manager lies and says she responds to emails but had ALSO said during a previous visit that she NEVER GOT my email. If Associa is EVER a choice for property management companies??? RUN as fast as you can away from them
Experiencia negativa: Horrible HOA so far not sure what their deal is… long wait times every single time I call. No one knows anything it seems and I have been told I will get a call back from someone or hear back and have not, no response to an email. Took a couple weeks to respond through the app… I’m not sure why we went with this company for our community but if we could change would do it in a heartbeat. No response back for my backyard and it’s been almost 2 months but will take my monthly payment and charge a convenience fee. I sent Karla and email back the same day and no response. Not sure why she is getting positive reviews. Trying to complete my backyard and it’s been a complete hassle. Looking for a response back to this from someone at the company.

We submitted an architectural application and needed to start the work earlier than usual due to scheduling issues with the contractor. I apologized for my bad behavior and she was very gracious and understanding. She then promptly submitted the required documents to my lender and explained the procedure to me for next year. Experiencia negativa: The worst Hoa I had to deal with. End of the story they charged me $300 while I was told to wait for their approval! Yeah the left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing. Clearly. I sent all documents in for the backyard design they told me easily 3 times to resubmit the plan and the photos by the time they said they had it and I was told to wait for the approval “the manager at that time” because she is no longer with this company she posed a $300 fine on my account. I only discovered it when I was in the process of selling my property and I was told they would reverse this fine. Guess what this still has not happened because they are so unprofessional and unorganized that it is mind blowing and title had to pay this $300 from my proceeds. No comment.

Experiencia fantástica: As an owner to a home that is served by Associa Nevada South at Highgate at Providence community, it is very frustrating to leave polite, short messages and send emails but there is never a call back, particularly with their Highgate at Providence HOA Manager, Jessica-Rose Alexander. Now, 11/29/2023 that Mrs. Alexander is gone, I can mention that I always have had replies, via email, from the Administrative person, Donna Gilbert. Mrs. Gilbert was always very polite, responsive, and professional. To summarize my paragraph above, communications with managers was always non-existent and with staff, it has been helpful. Ms. Scalisi received my Email message at 6:53pm PST and provided both Jim Eagan and I the HOA Rules & Regulations via Email at 7:19pm PST. Also, she informed Jim Eagan the address to Associa Nevada South, her Telephone number and days/times of Associa's hours of operation. This is "Outstanding" services after business hours. You have a dedicated employee and should be proud how Ms. Scalisi represents your company!

Experiencia negativa: Today speaking with Ellie, I got real frustrated with her because I felt like I was speaking with a robot like the kind of robot calls you get with a prerecorded message. I felt like there was no real person behind the voice. She just kept saying the same things over and over again and would keep trying to over talk me which I began to over talk her to try to get answers I wanted to ask. Her just quoting the same procedures again like I don’t already know them. I am Board Director and know the process. Speaking with her made me realize just how inefficient the staff is. No wonder the Fiesta Community doesn’t really want anything to do with the system we have, they only get frustrated. I feel as if we need to make some changes or figure out how we can become more efficient.

Experiencia fantástica: I honestly was going to leave a 1 star review because I have been calling over and over trying to get someone to help me figure out what is going on with the violations on my account but FINALLY I got someone one on the phone that CARES ABOUT PEOPLE. Karla Rodriguez was the only person who took the time to help me find out what I needed to do to get these violations closed after MONTHS of calling.
Experiencia fantástica: I called to report the trees on the side oh my home. An air conditioning repairman came to service said the tree was going to damage my air conditioner. The never get watered, so I don't know how they survive. But I just received an email letting me know that it will be taken care of. Thanks for the quick response.
