Experiencia negativa: This place is a joke, would not recommend anyone to rent a place through them. Not only do they charge a pet fee that goes to the owner of the house they also charge a pet fee for RPM company. you call them and are told one thing by a person and then another says something different, they don't keep record of some maint requests and then claim you did not file it. if you file it on the rental portal they cancel it so it doesn't list what was submitted. Myself and friends and family spent 2 days cleaning the place i rented from them and they still turned around and charged me a full house cleaning fee, so when i confronted them on it she says i missed a couple things. I asked why i got charged a full house clean if i only missed a couple things and she did not reply to it. Ill tell you why because they pocket your money after charging you for things that they shouldn't. i also several times asked for an itemized receipt for everything that i was charged for and she (Joelle) refused to give it to me. I got charged 400.00 for carpet cleaning, Outrageous they pocketed that money to. 2 Small rooms does not cost 400.00 to shampoo and again she refused to give me a receipt for that to. She tried charging me for a ceiling fan in the bathroom that was broke when i moved in. I had reported it as broke when i moved in. She would not give me the exact amount and after me asking her over and over she said all they did was have a guy screw it back in the ceiling. So why again charge me for that. I left that house looking better than it did when i moved in. Carpets were full of pet hair, floors were nasty there was dust and cobwebs all over. Infested with spiders and kitchen cabinets sticky from grease. They are a Joke and try to be deceiving. Do not rent from them. RPM Wasatch needs to be shut down for fraud!

Experiencia fantástica: I rent from Real Property Management and it has been a very pleasurable experience as a someone who has rented from several other places in the past 10+ years, it has been absolutely lovely to rent from them. I recently had the pleasure of working with Ray for some issues with my plumbing. He was so quick and efficient and very helpful. I would be happy to work with him again!

Experiencia negativa: I will never rent with Rentomatic again. I paid $200 to manicured the yard and $250 to have Chen Dry clean the carpet. I cleaned the house myself cleaner than it was when we moved in. They charged me again for all the same things I paid for. They also charged me for flooding the basement which never happened. Beware you won’t get any of your deposit back. They will also charge you for any maintenance like garage door opener and turning on and off the sprinkler system.
Experiencia negativa: Withheld security deposit in violation of the lease agreement. Clearly states in lease document that a cleaning fee will be charged by hour, then charged a blanket cleaning fee at a set rate in excess of the agreed upon cleaning rate. When I brought this up, it took months of trying to get in touch with somebody before I finally just started showing up in person. If you try and call or email, you'll be ghosted. They offered to partially refund, but the amount withheld was still in violation of the agreement. Eventually after more months of zero response I agreed to the amount they agreed to refund, but unsurprisingly, ghosted. If you feel like you want to pursue small claims to get your security deposit back, rent with RPM Wasatch. If you want a company that will honor a security deposit by the terms described in a lease agreement, rent anywhere else. And yes, every issue has documentation from RPM Wasatch to back up all the complaints made.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently rented a beautiful home through RPM Wasatch and had a great experience. The home is architecturally unique and we found it fit what we were looking for perfectly. We especially appreciated Jessica working with our tight timeline for move in since we were coming in from out of state and coordinating with the owners, who are also out of state. We can’t imagine it being easy but they worked with us and we certainly appreciate it!
Experiencia fantástica: After my first few months of living in this place dealing with real property management , I have to say if at first was not the greatest due to the manager that was in charge of my unit, after a while, I got a new agent in charge of my unit, her name is Tina.Let me tell you something about Tina. She is one of the most honest, sweetest, caring loving people that i've ever met , and she absolutely cares about her tenants and she does what she says she's gonna do. She doesn't put you off. She's all about business and getting it done. I wasn't sure, if I was gonna be able to renew my lease for another third year. Just because of past experience is with management companies. But Tina is seriously the most amazing sweetheart ever. She not only got me into another year in my home but she extended it 2 extra months. So that way I don't have to move in the wintertime. If I'd want to move. That really truly means something when you know your manager cares and they don't make you feel like just another tenant or just another paycheck. When things happen, she understands life happens, and she's willing to work with you in the best way possible, as long as it's within her means. Thank you so much, Tina. For being such an amazing person. I could never ask for such a better manager to deal with you've put a better taste in my mouth about dealing with management companies. After dealing with you, we absolutely adore you at my home.

I’ve had issues with other management in the past that were ready to argue and justify poor management, this was not the case with Jo. If she was constrained in any way it was clear that she was willing to do the most she could, and I appreciated that a lot. She left me feeling confident in our ability to communicate and like I could do so freely without encumbering or bothering her.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a current resident of Jefferson School Apartments managed by RPM Wasatch. It's been almost 3 years of living here and my family and I absolutely love it! Our neighbors are so friendly and we look out for one another which is amazing because you don't get that everywhere especially having little ones. On top of that, the office staff are 1 of 1! Jo has been so understanding and informative since the day we moved in. We love her! Megan is also amazing at being supportive and welcoming to us. They are always giving us at least 24 hour notices ahead of time before they need to enter our unit which really helps so we are aware of who's entering our home. We definitely call this place our home and I definitely encourage others who are looking for a new home to check out this property!!

I had a recent issue with a tenet and with in 24 hours I had been informed by her team that action was taken and my problem was resolved with appropriate actions. In the beginning we were not very well taken care of Then Joelle Kenny became the Manager of this Property (Jefferson School Apartments) After Joelle took over we have seen nothing but Positive changes and she works hard to make this Complex one of the best places to Live in the Salt Lake Metro Area Gates and other Improvements have started to be put in place for our security and to improve the Looks of this Complex! We have a good Maintenance crew who are pretty good about getting repairs in a Timely manner! It’s not perfect yet but Joelle is working on it and she will eventually get there!

Experiencia fantástica: Malisha was the current property manager for my South Jordan home. She was respectful, courteous, responsive, and always professional. That can not be said of all that preceded her. Since Real Property Management of Wasatch took over I have been through several property managers, some very disrespectful, some bothered by a phone call, none who ever knew the terms of my lease, and most who never returned a phone call or email. Malisha was different by far. She always responded to calls or texts timely, always pleasant and cared about what was going on. Real Property Management should take care of this employee, she represents you well and I know for myself I would never have given up my home of 15+ years had I always been as fortunate to have her as the site manager. Thank you Malisha for the person you are and for the job you do.
Experiencia positiva: I've been their client for almost 9 years and they manage two of my properties. They were quite good in the past and on top of things but lately, their service has been awful. I have to leave multiple messages and they never call back. Seems like my preparties are handed off to different agents every few months due to turnover. Don't renew leases on time and as a consequence, i lose money since they do not update the rental price with a new contract. II really hope that they make changes t improve their service
Experiencia positiva: The communication from office staff has recently improved, and the maintenence team is very friendly and professional. It sometimes takes longer than necessary to get maintenance requests done, but the work done by Ray is always high quality (replaced our water heater once the same day it broke!) The team at RPM Wasatch are above average and seem to be still on the rise!
Experiencia negativa: These guys are garbage. They were okay at first when we asked a few problems in our old rental. But as soon as you want to move out they hardly give any money back. Everything was taken care of the what was required. They found any and all of a reason to hold our deposit for at least 3 months. We end up having to call the owner of the home in California and he reimbursed us. They're were terrible!!
Experiencia negativa: We had a property rented through this company. When the tenant started causing problems he was not given notice in a timely manner and HOA fines continued to accrue. Then the deposit was returned to the tenant with no regard for our expenses. When we pointed out errors in their final accounting we were informed we didn't know anything about accounting. Their final accounting had three management fees assessed which we were told was a misunderstanding of accounting on our part. I would not recommend this company. RPM Wasatch took over from RPM which was the company with which we originally contracted. After RPM Wasatch took over the account things went downhill. 06/05/2024 To date RPM Wasatch has made no attempt to correct the errors they committed and have been less than truthful about their accounting procedures. We never recovered the amounts required as expenditures for the damages their tenant inflicted on our property. These people claim one thing while doing another.

I came across Ryan B. whom was very helpful, professional, understanding and caring about the ongoing issue I was having involving the HOA which it did not seemed to have an ending. He got on this matter right away and I was getting a call back from Ryan the same day with a solution to the problem. It was successfully resolved and I can’t thank him enough for taking care of this on going issue the same day. RPM has a team of professional and friendly staff. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: Had a broken pipe in our rental house that drained out into the city’s sewage system. It was causing all the pipes to back up to the point we had sewage coming out of the shower drain. It took Real Property Management a month to fix it! During which we had to move out to live with friends or family because they wouldn’t cover any alternative living arrangement costs. Then after we moved out, they took our whole security deposit and hit us with a large bill on top that was not itemized, and when we asked for an itemized on, the amount was quickly sent to a collection agency who we are now in a dispute with. bad customer service from everyone we spoke with in the company during our time living at the property, just rude, lazy and unprofessional. I advise anybody renting from them to be cautious and ready to advocate for yourself, because they definitely won’t.
Experiencia negativa: Tried to view a property 4 times. Their lock box had the wrong date, time, and phone # on it. The phone # was for a guy who said he has been trying to get them to change the # for 5 years. But they don't listen. This has been a complete waste of my time. I don't know how they get any properties rented at this rate.
Experiencia negativa: I lived in a house with this company for two years and it was the most awful experience of my life. If I could give 0 stars I would. We had probably 10+ different property managers in those two years, who would rarely answer the phone or return messages. We were overcharged for things multiple times and then had to wait weeks sometimes for a property manager to call us back and fix the issue. They consistently told us “you don’t have a property manager right now” due to people constantly quitting/being fired. Our 2nd year in the house we had our “newly hired” managers move into the unit below us in the same house. When asked if they worked for rpm, we were lied to and told they worked at a different company. For 5 months they were lying about being our property managers and played it off as if they were total strangers moving in. We didn’t break any rules so it didn’t matter, but it made us extremely uncomfortable to learn that after the fact (especially since we were directly lied to). We had to get out of that house, and after leaving it in perfect condition I have now waited over 60 days for our security deposit. This company has been beyond infuriating and is extremely poorly run. I recommend never living in a house that they manage.

Experiencia negativa: Jo , manager at JSA, lies and targets vulnerable tenants. She’s perjured herself in court to try to get rid of tenants she dislikes. Jo has a dismal safety record. My Mother can no longer walk or care for herself due to dog attacks, and treacherous property conditions. Jo will never ever provide you with a policy to back up anything. My Mother was mauled twice, and Jo refuses to provide me with the policies on dog attacks. She also claims that she has ‘no idea’ who the property insurance is. Jo gossips and spreads personal information amongst tenants. She pits them against each other. She plays favorites, and her peeps are the tenants using heroin, needles, traffickers, and violent offenders. The property appears cared for near the office. In building I, these photos reflect how she really feels about the residents here. She’s under investigation by HUD and hopefully, will be forced to terrorize another complex in the future.
Experiencia fantástica: I couldn't be more happy with our experience living at the Jefferson School Apartments. My husband and I integrated our families in this space so there are many special memories within the walls of these apartments. Our experience with maintenance was always prompt, or at least as prompt as we felt like we could ever hope for given the number of tenants. We always felt our maintenance experiences were as quick and painless as possible. Jo - our apartment manager - was always honest and straightforward, so easy to work with, and went waaaaay above and beyond for us on a handful of occasions. She truly helped us create the sense of home and safety we always felt there. I wept many years when it came time to leave, even though we were moving for all the right reasons. From an outside perspective, we were moving forward with our lives... But I knew (and still know) that space is where our lives were rooted together. I can honestly say, this is where we found our foundation. I will be for grateful for the place we first called "home" together, and for support we felt from the entire team of individuals that helped make it possible. Thank you. Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: Super slow for maintenance, high extra fees on lease, high turnover on agents so you never have the same contact when you call, and give you a vague list of reas9ns why they are keeping your entire security deposit and charging nearly $1000 for yard work. They also forgot to sign the lease one year and charged us the wrong price for rent for months. Seriously, landlords and tenants beware.
Experiencia negativa: Leaving a new review because the property manager said they would fix the issues I talked about in my previous 1 star review and they have done nothing. 29 days now without heat or ac in the house and it is now snowing. The house is 49 degrees and I’m going to have to move out. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS. They sent someone out to look at the furnace/AC and were quoted 1000$ to fix it and didn’t get it fixed because they thought they could get someone cheaper and 2 weeks later nobody will help us. They ignore our phone calls and texts, we are all out of options other than moving out, and not paying them anymore.
Experiencia fantástica: I’ve lived here at Jefferson School Apartments for 4 years! && although I need to upsize to a 3 bedroom I just don’t want to leave. I’ve created a bond with the community here && my manager Jo is the greatest! I’ve lived places before that management is hateful & uninvolved in the community that’s not the case here. Jo genuinely cares about this property and her tenants you see her on property walking around checking things out & connecting with the tenants out walking their dogs I always look forward to coming outside just to say hello and getting catch up with her on daily life! If there is a issue she’s on it to get it resolved right away. I could go on all day about how grateful I am to have a manager like Jo but I’ll finish up letting you know about our maintenance team because that’s another very important part of living comfortably and safe. As soon as I put in a maintenance request it’s opened within the hour and he’s usually at my door within a few hours of that! Experiencia fantástica: I live at Jefferson School Apartments. I have enjoyed my stay there so far. The management there works with you when you need something fixed right away. Less then 24hrs they will have the problem fixed for you. The manager there will go out of her way to help you when you need help. Again, I love living in theses apartments. Thank you guys for all your hard work.
Experiencia fantástica: Jefferson School Apartments is probably the best move I have ever made. Because it’s very affordable unlike the other Apartments in and around Utah. Joelle have been probably the best Manager I’ve ever had. When ever something goes wrong or break , I have never had any problems or issues since I’ve lived here. And I must say that the Maintenance crew is the best!! If you are in the Market for a new place to move, I highly recommend that you check out Jefferson School Apartments!!

It’s rare to find a place with a management team that actually responds to requests in a timely manner, but Jo always makes sure things get taken care of - with the help of Kip and the rest of the maintenance staff. We’ve been really impressed with how much they’ve been able to do to improve our complex over the past few years. I’m writing this to convey my experiences with the current management and maintenance personnel. They are Magnificent!! I recently had a light switch go faulty- immediately following my request, it was fixed. More currently, my fridge started leaking water. When I notified Jo, the manager, she had Alex, the maintenance man, come and diagnose. The fridge was replaced promptly. Jo and Alex have made my experience here at Jefferson Great!! I intend to live here many years to come!

Experiencia positiva: Jefferson school apartments I have lived hear almost 18 years and I have seen a lot of management come and go and Jo is very compassionate and understanding and Jo and her maintnce team get things finished in a timely manner. I like my washer ,dryer,dishwasher,my walk in closet,and my large bedroom despite the crime i think it's a nice place to live. But some of are neighbors don't seem to know where the garbage is.
Experiencia positiva: I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Ashton. He was able to attend to my every need with enthusiasm. Ashton puts his tenants first and makes sure they are happy. I appreciate everything he does with RPMWasatch. Very professional.... after a year of experience I have changed me review. This property management company is very poorly managed. Ashton was my 2/3 "landlords" I had while at Barbara Place. I had to file a legal letter asking for my deposit back after a month of no communication. Further, I had multiple charges on my account that I had paid and after time and time again of them saying they would be removed they never were. I believe this company is still trying to get itself together. They have since remodeled the apartments and hopefully have found better employees to stick around.
Experiencia fantástica: I attended the Home & Garden Show at the Sandy Expo center this past weekend and am happy I did because I met with Tasha from your company. She was very helpful in answering my questions, didn't make us feel rushed and actually gave us her full attention (a rarity these days). My husband & I were recently married and combined two houses into one. We have had a lot of bothersome realtors trying to get us to list the empty house and sell it. Tasha went over the benefits of turning our home into a rental and how Real Property Management Wasatch can help qualify tenants, collect and process the rent and help us facilitate the maintenance. The fees are reasonable and upfront (nothing hidden in fine print) and will give me and husband peace of mind as well as additional income. We're still not 100% if we will be renting our house out in the near future. If we do - I'll be sure to call Tasha at RPMW first. Simply because she was so patient with my 100 questions and answered them in a way I could understand. Thank you again for the information, for being so kind and for the lip balm. (my husband & I bother suffer from chapped lips and it was perfect.)
Experiencia negativa: I would give them 0 stars if I could. If you want to be de valued as a tenant and mistreated, then rent from them. No loyalty to long term, paying on time tenants. I was renting from them for 4 years and they told me they were raising my rent by $400 or more a month and if I did not pay they would kick me out. So I did have to leave because the place I was renting is definetly not worth $400 more a mont in rent. Since I moved out they have been unable to rent the place $400 more than what I was paying and have lowered the price now to less than $400 more than what I was paying for 4 years. I offered to negotiate a price for me to stay there but they refused to even talk to the owner on my behalf. Also I never received any deposit back but they kept 100% of my deposit without any documentation. Now they are charging an extra $50 a month to their tenants for services that all management companies do anyways. I kept the place ice and even repainted the whole downstairs while living there making other improvements to the back patio etc.. My motorcycle was stolen from my parking spot and was locked up. No security. No respect for their tenants who are long term and pay on time every month without any complaints or trouble from us tenants, eventhough my motorcycle was stolen. They also are not allowing pets at the property where there are pets and large dogs everywhere and people do not pick up after their pets. So you get to live in a place where pets run rampant and deal with that without being able to have one? Makes no sense at all!! Very bad company to rent from among all the other really bad management companies in Salt Lake Valley. I would not waste my time and keep searching for something decent.
Experiencia fantástica: Great property management company! Lived in one of their units for just under 3 years and loved it! It was a great home. Shout out to Corbin over there for being so easy to work with. I highly recommend and would definitely rent with them again if I ever need to in the future.
Experiencia negativa: When I was renting from them they failed to make repairs and instead would Jimmy rig broken things. Broken blinds and broken doors simple things that they wouldn't fix. After an earthquake my bedroom window cracked in half and it took them about nine months to finally get it fixed and then the repairman comes unannounced out of the blue and gets mad at me because it was unexpected and I was unavailable when he came. The worst though was that after living there for 3 years they contacted me saying the rent was being raised $500 (about a third of my rent). I told them that was way to high and I was told it was not up for negotiation. So without being financially prepared for a move and with less than 1 month I had to pack up, find a place and move out. I am disabled and on a fixed income. RPM priced a disabled person out of their home. About 9 months later the Condo still hasn't been rented out and the price has been dropped to something I could afford (a modest increase to what I was paying when I lived there). A price if they would have offered me I could have stayed in the Condo. After move out they never contacted me regarding my deposit and kept 100% of it. Even with any repairs I should have seen at least half of my deposit back. But no I didn't even get an itemized list of deductions of my deposit. And I would only have to assume that they kept my deposit sighting preexisting problems that they would fix while I lived there. They made me live with it only to take my deposit for it in the end. This company has little care for their tenants and living situations they charge them to live in.
Experiencia fantástica: RPM Wasatch has provided me great customer service in my recent dealings with them. There was an error with my payment setup and they were happy to refund me the errant charges to my account. My property manager Corbin was especially nice and cordial while we worked together to sort out the issue. I highly recommend doing business with RPM Wasatch in the future
Experiencia negativa: Update: I had used RPM for several years. I stopped because of major ethical issues. I was charged multiple times for snow removal when I had removed snow myself. Maintenance is sub par with bandaid fixes. I had to start recording phone calls because the manager kept going back on what he said... Also kept me in the dark about a tenant forging money orders. STAY AWAY! Absolutely the worst property management company out there
Experiencia negativa: Hate to be this person but after the experience I had with the “management” I’m furious. Moved into the apartment that the previous tenant had been evicted, at least that is what the location manager told us, moved in and it was nasty, I’m talking visible mold on the windows and in the bathtub, floors had mud on them, took us 3 days to clean the whole apartment before we could even move in.. then one of the tenants was letting homeless people stay in the storage cages in the basement, when I talked to the manager about it there was nothing done for 3 months, the only thing they did was evict the tenant who was letting them stay down there… after 3 months of homeless people coming in and out of our hallways to go down the stairs where we had to wash our clothes, sleeping in the hallways. One of the managers made me extremely uncomfortable when asking me out on a date but when I said that I wanted to keep thinks professional he said he was asking for a friend, Ya ok… Then time to move out, we speckled the walls the ceiling, everything that the tenants damaged before us, after deep cleaning for a whole week making sure everything was so clean, we damaged absolutely nothing in that apartment, the only damage was because the building is rotting and the painters broke windows, we were charged over $100 for that and over $100 for a cleaning fee when we spent days cleaning that place it looked spotless. I don’t respect this business and from the other reviews not a lot of people do. If you’re thinking about moving into any of their locations be ready to get screwed over, asked out on a date by the manager or be in a very very uncomfortable living situation!
Experiencia negativa: Move in day, they never met up with us at the agreed upon time to give us our keys. Tried to call multiple times and they would not answer even though they were open. Decided to go to the physical business, and was rudely told by the receptionist to wait for their meeting in progress to finish, which took 30 minutes. The receptionist finally asked in a rude manner what I wanted. Told her it was move in day, that we never got the keys at the time they said we receive them, and no one was answering the phone. She started to act a little more respectful after I told her. Took 1 more hour to get our keys. Never answered my emails ever. Only my roommates. Would not give me access to pay rent online even though I emailed for access multiple times. I want to point out that I was one of the signers for the lease. Made paying rent difficult for my roommate and I. Finally gave up waiting for a answer. This never got resolved. To get our deposit back, we cleaned very very well. Made the place spotless. Can't emphasize enough how clean we left the apartment. The company they sent to clean said they spent 3 hours cleaning and took $130 out of our deposit as a cleaning fee. The place was spotless, so I can only assume that they sat around and playing games pretending to clean. I don't leave reviews ever, but the service and how they treated us was enough to make me do so.
Experiencia negativa: I've lived here for almost 4 months now and the property mannigiment here does not care about their tennents. They will not fix or bairly take care of any maintenance issue. So most likely the problems will occur again and you will be stressed with having to deal with it again.Their payment methods are archaic and they will overcharge you for any inconvenience or Insufficient funds. They do not clean their properties before you move in. I've had several pest issues and I am a very clean person. Ide suggest if you need to live somewhere cheep then do it to save and get a better place. If you can afford something nicer then do not move in here. Im already planning my exit because I've had such a horrible experience dealing with the management here.
Experiencia negativa: These guys re-lease properties before landlords want them too! They're nearly impossible to get ahold of. They also nickel and dime the hell out of tenants who leave the property spotless. They charged me fees because I left hangers behind, and a cleaning fee when I spent hours cleaning everything. As a former landlord and a tenant, I would never work with this company.
Experiencia negativa: The maintenance people are great. The stars are for them. The property managers are horrible. Unresponsive, absent, ineffective. This has been the experience as a whole. Today I'm posting this review specifically because they have not returned the security deposit within 30 days after move out like specified in the lease. They have acknowledge they owe it but have failed to pay. Looks like this may need to go to court unfortunately.
Experiencia positiva: RPM Wasatch recently took over management of our apartment complex, and charged us for May rent despite us paying it to the previous company. When we call, they do not answer and a generic email said that they are "working on it". In the meantime, they keep the charge on our ledger and then they have the gall to charge us an additional "security deposit". We paid a security deposit when we moved in, why are you charging us again? Edit: Management clarified that they needed to add charges to each tenant's ledger to do some "back end" accounting. Although they have assuaged my concerns regarding being overcharged, the lack of notification still demonstrates a lack of respect for tenants and the property they manage. Edit 2: A year after moving out, they are charging us over $700 for rent that we paid. After sending receipts, bank statements the management company just dropped off and starting dodging calls. We just got notification that this was sent to a debt collector, AFTER we disputed these charges. This is a TERRIBLE company, as unethical as they come. Edit 3: we went into the RPMW office with documents to dispute the charges and cancel the collections. There, we met with Tasha and Bree. They were very attentive and flexible enough to see two (quite frustrated) walk-ins. They gave their word to resolve the issue within 1-2 days, and kept their word. It has been really frustrating to work with this company in the past, but it is clear that they have turned over a new leaf. The new office staff have been much more available and helpful.
Experiencia negativa: Former tenant of one of their properties. Had no issues with them through my term as a tenant, however upon moving out, they incorrectly issued my security deposit refund check, making it so I am not able to deposit it. I have spent the last few weeks trying to get them to reissue the check with virtually no response from their team. Every time I actually can get someone on the phone, they say that there was "some internal shuffling" and that they would take care of it right away, and then nothing is done. The service is HORRENDOUS and I am close to involving my lawyer as it seems like they are deliberately stalling this process to prevent me from depositing the check. If you can work with literally work with any other company, I would recommend doing so. Property managers are incompetent and administrative staff is just as useless.
Experiencia negativa: I would never use this company to manage my property or to lease from. CJ scheduled an appointment to see a property. They confirmed I was still planning to make the appointment that morning. When I arrived I was told by the agent the home was rented the night before and CJ never told the agent or myself. I left work early and drove 2 hours to make this appointment. They are not organized, professional and are not considerate of people’s time or resources.
Experiencia fantástica: i actually haven't met with any agent or staff at wasatch however the rep. that responded to my request earlier that day CJ was very to the point, patient with my not understanding things and questions about the property i was interested in. she made sure that before we disconnected our call she knew i was on the same page as her. i was overly excited to see the unit i actually went almost a week to early..
Experiencia negativa: Lived in a house under them for two years. It took literal WEEKS for work orders to get done. The house itself was not what I would call a “sustainable” house. It had holes in the walls. It was built terribly wrong, the wiring was so bad that if anything shorted, the whole house lost power. On top of that it would take them forever to get it fixed. Upon moving out, even with a 30 day notice from multiple different sources they pro rated us rent for a month that we weren’t even there for. Despite hiring our own cleaning service when we moved out they took more than 90% of our security deposit. Within those charges we were docked for blinds that still had dust on them, $300 worth to be exact. As well we were charged for leaving an air freshener plugged in. AN AIR FRESHENER. $100. Super unprofessional and quite frankly a terrible realtor. Would not recommend if you want a nice house with a RELIABLE company/owner.

She explained everything in detail and walked me through the whole process and I am so pleased and impressed by how she carries her self in a professionally way. Thank you real property management! Experiencia negativa: I could write a 5-4 star review for Ashton, one of the property managers because he rocked when I could get a hold of him. But it seems everyone else at this company is inept or doesn't care. I lived in city view apartments for two years and during that time it was bought by three different property management groups so some of this may be an issue with the landlord or something. Wasatch was just the last to owe it and owed it when I left. But they always seemed disorganized, they changed handymen all the time so there was sometimes no one to fix stuff e.t.c. But why I am writing this review and I find it nuts that they have a 4.2star rating. It took months to figure out our security deposit, I moved out in August 2020 and it wasn't figured out till November. It could have been stored out in 10 minutes but IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HOLD OF ANYONE, we called and emailed a 100 times, we even went to their offices, and when we finally found someone they told us they couldn't help, and that we needed to call. The only times they contacted us was through mail and to tell us that we owed them 2,000 dollars. But when we were finally able to talk to Ashton it was correctly determined that we didn't owe anything. Many of the issues were due to a previous employee of Wasatch incorrectly recording or simply not recording anything, like the time I gave him the keys to the apartment. Like who is running this company. There appears to be no internal communication at all. I DON'T KNOW UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING WRONGLY ACCUSED OF OWING 2 GRAND, AND HAVING ALMOST NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON WITH YOUR HOME. I WON'T RENT WITH WASATCH.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience renting. They were sincerely awful. I am sure there are people who have good experiences, but look at how many 1 star reviews there are here. That's not normal. First, they listed the house incorrectly and had to amend the contract twice due to their mistakes. Sadly we stayed after these mistakes were made. The whole place was very old and falling apart, but it was a good deal so we decided to live there for two years. However, we didn't realize that we would be charged almost all our security deposit of over $1000 for damages we didn't cause. Our neighbors, it is a townhouse and there are 4 living areas, even said at one point that it's insane that these places are rented and the place should be condemned. Also, there was crud left on the porch and in the basement that we requested they remove when we first moved in and they removed half of it and then charged us for the half they left when we moved out. I didn't realize it was our job to clean up your past tenets crud?!? They were always very slow to respond and very bad at figuring anything out. I could go into more detail, but I just wanted to provide some information on why it was truly an awful experience. PLEASE do not rent through these people. Or if you do take pictures and document everything or they will rip you off. I have lived in many apartments and never been charged my refundable security deposit.
