Matt was very thoughtful and considerate of my situation. Since I live far away, he minimized access to the house, even though the contract allowed the buyer multiple access rights before closing. I truly appreciated how respectful and accommodating he was. Matt was on top of every step and kept me consistently updated from start to finish. His communication was excellent and gave me complete peace of mind throughout the process. Everything was handled professionally and seamlessly. I couldn’t be happier with how easy this experience was and would highly recommend Fair Trade to anyone looking for a fast, hassle-free home sale.

Experiencia negativa: We contacted Joey Keane, Co-Founder of Fair Trade Real Estate. He made a verbal offer over the phone and said he would send a contract within a few hours; it took over a day of repeated calls, texts, and emails before we finally received a California Residential Purchase Agreement (RPA) that was entirely blank! It was missing pertinent information such as, the parties’ legal names, property address, purchase price, material terms, contingencies, and any substantive contractual provisions. He then backed out of his verbal agreement via text message, offering no explanation or follow-up. In my personal opinion, this is a turn-and-burn operation, disorganized, unprofessional, and showing complete disregard for others’ time and resources. Their high ratings appear to reflect homes they sell, not how they handle buyers. In my experience, they are predators targeting sellers in desperate situations. We were not that type of seller, and I cannot recommend this company under any circumstances. Legal Disclaimer: This review reflects my personal experience and constitutes my honest opinion. Experiencia negativa: Dealing with this company was an absolute nightmare. I was working with a rep named Joey, and from the start, communication was atrocious — that should have been my first red flag. To get any sort of response, I had to make multiple phone calls, send several texts, and even follow up with emails and voicemails just to get the smallest update. After finally connecting, I told him where my property was located. He said he’d review and get back to me — which took about an hour, after which he gave me a price they were supposedly willing to offer. Great, I thought, maybe things were looking up. I asked for the contract to review — that took over a full day to arrive. When I finally received it, I told him I was ready to move forward but had a couple of questions before signing. Then came the silence. No response for an entire day. It wasn’t until I called the office again and followed up with more messages that I finally received a text (not even a phone call) saying, “Sorry, we can’t offer that price right now.” No explanation. No counteroffer. Just an unprofessional brush-off followed by complete ghosting. This company wasted three days of my time with poor communication, unkept promises, and zero professionalism. If this is how they operate before a deal is even signed, I can only imagine what a disaster it would be afterward. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Save your time, your energy, and your patience — this company simply isn’t worth it.

I worked with Stone Huang and James Fletcher and they helped me through the entire process from purchase all the way to getting the keys. After I closed escrow, the seller remained in my home for two weeks to move. I was so afraid of it turning into a squatter situation. But Stone and James continued to manage the situation. Made sure the seller moved out and took all of their belongings rather expeditiously. What a relief it was to walk into a completely vacant fixer!
