Experiencia negativa: We have been very frustrated with the rental. It was not clean when we moved in. Then we had a sub pump to fail in the garage where we still had boxes full of items. We had to quickly remove the items from the boxes and destroy the nasty sewage coated bottom boxes. Then we had to clean the garage with disinfectant. The towels we used to wipe up the mess that went almost all the way across the two car garage had to be thrown away. Extra cost to us in replacing those items, and the time we lost professionally. It was repaired quickly. But then the outside sewer went bad which is what this survey is about. And yes, it has been fixed. Now the dishwasher is not working. My husband and I are both professionals who really need this home to be a haven. It has not up to this point in our rental... November to February. There still remains a bit of a sewer smell in the basement. The over run of the sewer ran under the foundation. I am assuming that is why we still smell it. In addition, one of the bedrooms smells like cigarette smoke. We shampooed the carpet and washed the walls several times already to no avail. I think the house was repainted but the walls were not washed prior to that painting. That room is my grandchildren's room to play in and sleep in when they visit. We put down a rug on the "hole burnt" carpet to cut down on the smell. The carpet should have been replaced after the former renters. Sadly, we are looking forward to the end of our lease. Experiencia negativa: Horrible. Honestly it’s too much to write. We were residents. And to deal with the financial aspect of this company, it is a utter nightmare. We originally got approved to leave our lease early because my wife got a terminal cancer diagnosis, and when nothing else went through, they harassed us for the full payment of the remainder of our lease. It was back-and-forth back-and-forth. No one helped us. No one tried to help us. I tried to get the phone number for corporate offices and I was denied that as well I urge anyone who is trying to rent do not rent from this company because you will make the biggest mistake of your life with this company.

Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend renting/leasing from Main Street Renewal. Customer service is extremely poor. There is no way to speak with a live person about your property—everything is handled through chat, text, or email, and their call center cannot assist or escalate issues. You are essentially stuck in a non-responsive lease. Maintenance is a major problem. We have had a serious kitchen water leak for over 20 days, making the kitchen unusable. Appointments are constantly rescheduled with little to no explanation due to staffing shortages, yet we continue paying full rent. We’ve had to eat out and even change holiday plans because of their lack of response. The home was also poorly prepared at move-in: cheap spot-painting, unclean carpets despite prior pets, and the yard was not maintained as promised. This company takes rent but fails to provide basic maintenance or accountability. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to rent elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: I would do 0 stars if I could. Mainstreet renewal is great at communicating with you ONLY during the application process. Once you are in the unit, forget about needing anything, they will not be there for you. The "after hours" phone # doesn't really have anyone available to answer you if you have an emergency. On top of that, I reported a major leak on September 8th, they said they treat that as an emergency within 72hrs. That is a lie. Every time it rains which is almost every day, I get a ton of water inside my house. It took them more than a month to fix the foundation issue I am having. They sent several vendors until one of them "fixed it" on 10/13. This was a major leak so half of my living room had to be gutted and place the drying machines. They did all of it to now realize that the leak is not fixed. The water is still getting inside and now my whole living room in shambles. I been trying to contact them for 2 days now to let them know the situation and I have received 0 response. It has been almost 7 weeks now where I am getting rain inside my house, mold was found in the walls. And now I'm back to square one with added bonus that half my house is unlivable. Terrible terrible experience. I work for a management company and I have never seen this level of not caring about the tenants.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible management company. We have had flooding in one of the bedrooms from a storm - over two months now. We’ve had several vendors come out. And they will do nothing to remediate the room. Because mainstreet won’t approve it. The fifth vendor was so grotesque and aggressive with my partner, I had to kick him out. He was the only one they considered hiring according to him. Because he’s affordable. He kicked the wall and said it just needs “paint.” As water was literally still coming out of the walls. A new person from mainstreet finally showed up two weeks ago, and smelled the mold and ripped out part of the rotten wall for us - he reported it to the company. And now. It’s been weeks. Ghosting. You can’t get a live person to do anything - it’s all automated. There have been days upon days upon days of endless attempts on our end to reach someone to help us. And STILL nothing will be done. The response to this will also be some automated message on google telling us to contact maintenance which is freaking laughable. I can’t find any contact other than the portal and “helpline.” We’ve sealed off the room for health purposes and were told by a vendor - “they hope you go away.” And they’re just waiting you out. We are at our wits end. And feel helpless. Next step is the city. And a news station.

Experiencia negativa: I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of urgency and poor communication from Main Street regarding a critical maintenance issue. On Saturday, October 4th, my husband and I discovered our hot water heater was leaking. I immediately submitted a work order. By Monday, I had to follow up because the water continued leaking into our garage. I didn’t receive any proactive updates, just a call on Wednesday asking if someone would be home. A technician came out only to take photos and never returned or followed up. I called Main Street to report this, and was told the work was still “pending.” On Friday, I contacted the vendor directly, who told me he was waiting on Main Street’s approval. I had to call Main Street again to push for this, after being placed on hold multiple times, they finally approved the repair. The vendor scheduled the repair for Saturday (today) at 9:30 AM. By 10:30, no one had shown up. I called the vendor, who told me he was having difficulty reaching the technician. I eventually received a call around 1 PM stating the technician would arrive at 3:30 PM. At 5 PM, I had to text again for an update. I was told the technician was “leaving Home Depot.” It is now 6:31 PM, and still, no one has arrived. This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Not only did we go an entire week with a leaking water heater, but we also had to chase updates ourselves. Communication has been inconsistent, and the delay in handling an urgent issue is beyond reasonable. Renters deserve better.

Experiencia negativa: Main Street Renewal is as bad as the reviews say. We were in the process of moving into a property in Fort Worth. We submitted our application and were approved the same day (Oct 1st). The home had been listed on the market for over 200 days. During our initial tour, we noticed the toilets were covered in saran wrap dated from October of last year. Once removed, both toilets were filthy, one completely nonfunctional and covered in mold. The bathtub also had excessive mold growth. The community was “gated,” but the entry gate wasn’t operational due to water damage on its control board. On top of that, utilities were not on during the first tour, leaving the house humid with a strong odor. When we asked MSR about this, they told us we would need to turn on utilities ourselves to confirm things worked before move-in. On Oct 2nd, we paid to have utilities activated and toured again. With lights and water on, it was clear repairs were still needed. We asked for confirmation that the mold and non-working toilet would be fixed before move-in and stated we’d make payment once resolved. Just two hours later, the home was suddenly removed from MSR’s website, without any notice, explanation, or courtesy email. To summarize: • Oct 1st – Application submitted and approved. Asked for $3,500 move-in payment. • Oct 2nd – We activated utilities, re-toured, raised concerns about mold/toilet, and requested confirmation before paying. • A few hours later, the Home was pulled off the market with no communication from MSR. This experience should be a wake-up call for anyone considering renting with MSR. If they treat potential tenants this way before signing, imagine how they treat residents afterward. If you’re a current resident or planning to become one, I sincerely wish you and your family the best of luck, you’ll need it.

Experiencia negativa: Awful company. Will do all they can to take your deposit back and the amounts will conveniently take your entire deposit despite leaving the house in acceptable condition. Attempted to end the lease early for military PCS and they quoted a Texas law that supported me leaving and obviously have no idea what the law or my lease says. When I tried to contact them and ask for further clarification on their refusal they simply stopped answering my correspondence. Military AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Carpet was clearly old and hadn't been professionally cleaned when I got there and now they're charging $800 for paint work that would cost maybe $100 for a professional. The scumminess of this company cannot be overstated!

Experiencia negativa: We moved into a property on July 24, 2025, only to discover that the house had no gas service, meaning no hot water for showers or cleaning. This is not a minor issue. It is a violation of habitability under Texas law. Even worse, their response has been nothing short of negligent. How do you miss an entire gas connection? They ignored our emails for weeks, then claimed they went to spam. We’ve received no temporary accommodations, no hotel offer, no hot water, and no solution. We’ve now paid rent twice on an uninhabitable home and had to shower elsewhere while they continue to deflect blame and stall. If you’re considering leasing from Main Street Renewal, take a look at their D+ BBB rating and the patterns across reviews. We’ve had the exact same experience as (at least) dozens of other tenants. I promise, it isn't worth it. This company is either dangerously incompetent or willfully negligent. Either way, they should not be managing homes in Texas. Edit: In response to the company’s reply below: I have already sent multiple legal correspondences to the exact email address they provided. Everyone involved on their end should be fully aware of what’s happened by now. The fact that this PR team appears unaware only proves my point: this company isn’t actually working together to resolve tenant issues, they’re just scrambling for public optics. This reply is posturing, not a genuine, solutions-oriented action. If Main Street Renewal were serious about accountability, they would have responded to my demands weeks ago instead of ignoring them, deflecting blame, and dragging this out. If you still want to resolve this, I would encourage you to check your inbox for my prior correspondence and respond accordingly.

Experiencia negativa: They price gouging on monthly rent. They changed the rental insurance address then changed fees that the address doesn't match. The property has over grown grass before I moved in they was violated by the city and the HOA and they help me responsible for it and I wasn't even a resident at the time. This has been a nightmare

Experiencia negativa: I just started a lease with this company August 14,2025 in Georgia. The air conditioning went out on Day 2 in the house. My kids took a bath Day 2 and The downstairs toilet has overflowed and left water all over the living room carpet the hallway and the kitchen. By Day 4 None of the toilets in the house are functioning and if we use any water the downstairs toilet flood even more. We called to get a maintenance request 2 days ago. They lied and said somebody was coming today from 2-5pm. Nobody showed up. They do not care about their tenants and They rent out homes with inhumane and Unlivable conditions. Imagine spending $4000 and 4 days later the house is completely unlivable. 0/10 do not recommend any body to rent from this company.

Experiencia negativa: I’m 100% disabled Veteran and my air conditioner has been boken and not working properly since May 14, 2015 and they have been giving me the runaround since then and giving the contractor now a hard time about replacing the air-conditioning. I live in Florida, So you can imagine the heat in the afternoons especially. They first sent out their handyman’s several different times that didn’t do anything really, And then I had to finally be stern about getting an HVAC company out here to get one out here. This is over three months. I’m confined to one room in my house most of the time or go into somebody else’s house by the afternoon because it’s just simply too hot and humid to be out in the rest of the house and yes, I do take pictures of the thermostat every day several times a day for proof. I also have been submitting proof and comments to them to keep them informed. They tried to be slick the last time and say that I didn’t complain that it wasn’t still working, when I was indeed waiting on them to take care of stuff per their last correspondence. Their I Pay nearly $2000 a month for rent for this!?!?!? And this also goes against the statues. I will write a more in depth review soon but for now look at picture of how we MOVED IN to a filthy rental with many hazards.(MOLD/leaking toilets/Non working oven/ants and roaches and more!!!) we have lived here two months and are still have issue and refuse to complete work order in a timely manner . We have spent lots of time calling/taking off work to make them do their job that should have been done before we got the keys. Experiencia negativa: ATTENTION: If you value your family, pets and your wellbeing, you WILL NOT rent from this company. I cannot express what a terrible mistake you will be making. I live in Georgia and we have had heat advisory days every day this week. The AC went out on Saturday, July 26th, and I submitted a ticket to the residential portal. Maintenance didn’t show up until Tuesday, July 29th and told us the unit needed Freon, which he didn’t have because he wasn’t licensed to carry it. Really? He explained that he would put in an urgent request and someone would be out today, July 30th, but no one showed. It’s been 95 degrees downstairs and 96 upstairs, but that’s NOT considered an emergency. Please don’t get me started on the tree that fell over during a storm in June that is still laying in the yard. I’m sure if it was one of their family members, they wouldn’t be having the same issue. Just keep reading the reviews and hopefully you WILL NOT become a resident.

Experiencia negativa: We are brand new tenants and have had the worst experience ever with Main Street renewal. We were supposed to move in our house on June 21. There was no working air-conditioning or air-conditioning ducts! We finally were able to move in when they fixed it on July 9, but we paid all the rent and they have not given us any concessions In the Zillow ad second month is supposed to be Half off they have not honored anything. The house has broken screens, broken buckled floor, broken floor tiles, unpainted, facia board, plexiglass windows etc. etc.. And then it’s a game to bounce you from department to department when you try to file maintenance request or Simply try to find out how you are being reimbursed for all the funds that you have paid them. Maybe corporate should be aware of what they have done at 3305 19th Ave. W. And not reach out to their brand new tenants and apologize for the inconvenience. But they keep asking for more money and full rent. All we ask is that they honor their lease that we sign with them and Pay us back for all the rent we paid when we could not move into the house. Maybe just maybe somebody will do the right thing at Main Street renewal and contact us.

Experiencia negativa: Garbage company that discriminates against disabled applicants on a HCV and receiving SSDI. They claim to accept applicants like me but it is an absolute lie. They don't even have an application for a HCV recipient receiving SSDI. Their customer service is NOT in the USA and the reps are grossly under trained and irritating.. Their prospects line is even worse. All these people do is lie and mislead everyone they speak to. They don't know the first thing about American culture and they DO NOT CARE or value any prospect.

Experiencia negativa: Main Street Renewal is the worse by a million don’t you ever make the mistake and right any of there properties.The houses are dirty and almost everything inside the house is broken it’s been not even a month since I move into 1 of there houses and it’s been hell .And there’s no one that’s going help you or try to understand how frustrating it is.Maintenance been at my house every week .The carpet is old and dirty the cabinets are full of ants and broken the bathrooms showers are old and broken electrical circuit are broken garage broken the house smells no matter how much you clean it the kitchen is a disaster when it’s comes to appliances and dirt the houses are never clean for new renter ,and you will not get any help from there leasing agent nor there Corporate Main Office they gonna tell you that they understand your concern and to put your request in there maintenance portal

Experiencia negativa: The worst company ever. DON'T MOVE INTO ONE OF THEIR HOUSES, YOU WILL REGRET IT. When you move into a house, it's not clean and they don't respond to emergency maintenance issues for days. I had feces coming into all of my bathrooms from a sewer bac-up and they didn't respond for days. I had to call a plumber out and pay over $800 to get the sewer line unclogged. I have contacted the local tv station to speak with an investigative reporter to do a piece about Main Street. They charged me $500 dollars to paint a wall and threaten to evict you if you don't pay. I am going to expose this company for the terrible way they treat their tenants. It's all about money for them. They don't care what conditions the houses they rent to you are in. Experiencia negativa: First when I moved in the property was filthy not even vacuumed, I had to clean the property with my 7 month pregnant wife, rent a carpet cleaner and deal with it because all they offer was apologies. After living in the property almost three years… I was the perfect tenant always paid rent on time and took care of the property. I came on military orders(Army) and had an early termination of contract due to the military. After I left the property move out date of May 31, 2025 they are still charging me the month of June and July not just that, they are also charging me an HVAC filter fee of $69 and a carpet replacement fee of $517.50. I called twice Mainstreet to notify that I was having a balance for the month of June and I was told to not worry about it and that they were working on it. Now after I left the property move in ready, I have pictures of everything before I left and I was expecting my security deposit, they put the money of the deposit into the “pending balance” that I shouldn’t have. I never had this type of issue with a landlord before in my 40 years of life. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MAINSTREET.

Experiencia negativa: Good luck speaking with a human. There maintenance system is abysmal. In January I reported that my back yard floods after any rain and they got several quotes but never addressed it. I have reopened the request several times but they wait a month or so and close it and say i need to resubmit. Now my AC is out and they have rescheduled maintenance visit 3 times. If the tenant misses the appointment they threaten to charge 100 dollars but if they miss it, oh well. Like we font have jobs.... They are a corporation that does not care. Look at their auto generated replys to all the one star reviews. The five star reviews are probably bought and paid for. Ill be moving out soon. I'm sure ill be back to report that they withheld my security deposit. I will find a private renters or a local realtor and never deal with these corporate landlords again.

Experiencia negativa: I am renting a home in Tampa florida with this company, and since I moved in almost two months I’ve had nothing but problems. Since April 18th I have done nothing but work orders.first day I moved in I had a refrigerator that didn’t work . Took them two weeks to replace. At least they replaced it, but it should have been replaced way before I moved in because when I signed the least that was one of the issues.I told them about it. I’ve been almost two months without a working stove . This was the second issue before signing the lease. Well I have two working burners. Three weeks into my least the power breaker went out and half the house was without power. Made a work order and till this day it hasn’t been fixed. Into settling in I Come to find out the house is infested with rats called them for pest control due to the issue. Yeah still waiting. All the issues where addressed before the first 14 days an was put on the move in check list, and even spoke to the regional manager for solutions. I’ve been left with waiting. So I’ve had to take matters into my own hands.This company makes there own maintenance work schedule and never show up, but they are quick to send you a reminder for the rent payment.This company is the worst by far. Since they won’t fix the issues I have contacted the HUD office and the code enforcement to see what can be done. In hoping that some thing comes out of this.

Experiencia negativa: We have had nothing but problems since we started the process of leasing with this company. You can never speak to an actual listing agent. You only speak to the call center and no one ever knows what the status of your lease is. I live out of state and still can’t get anyone to assist me with an until inspection and being told it’s my responsibility. How can I be responsible for their property being inspected? I am so frustrated and disgusted with this company. There lack of compassion and lack of communication is sickening! I can not help if a job opportunity has changed and I live out of state. We haven’t even moved into to home yet and my lease hasn’t officially started yet I can’t get out of it. DO NOT ever sign anything with this company!

Experiencia negativa: Please don't move to any of there properties you can do the move in sheet and put that things were wrong and they don't repair them and give you a house that needed carpet clean and other things that never gotten done on the sheet be charge you when you leave for unnecessary charges and when you ask for pics after send all pictures and inside and outside of the but still get charge for carpet to be cleaned and paint. Experiencia negativa: If you're still reading this review they never did refund it. Turn away now and rent anywhere else. You can't ever speak to support or hold anyone accountable so they act like it and take weeks to reply. Only positive is companies like this don't last. First time leasing a home, they made it very easy until the second month when they hit me with a $35 fee for a document I provided before signing the lease that THEY hadn't put in the right "location" but will not refund the charge. If by some chance they get it together and refund this, I'll be happy to adjust my review accordingly but that's just not how you treat someone leasing with you for a year. I'd look elsewhere if I were you, unfortunately like I will be in 10 months. Check out the photos included (which were ignored by support, which tells you how they treat renters) all personal information of both parties has been removed of course.

Experiencia negativa: 4/30/25-UPDATE Now that we have moved out and left the house totally clean. Main Stree Renewal wants to charge $2,671 for floor damage and repainting. - THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS RIGHT?!!?!! I cannot believe the audacity of this company. They send a bill with no walk-thru documentation of the house? no proof that any work was done, just a MASSIVE BILL?! -Okay so we are a military family. 1/2023We have PCSed 4 times now. From the day we moved into this house 1/3/23 there was water damage. When we looked at it and put $2700 (deposit & first month's rent ) we physically looked at the hous, it was not like this! 2 days we couldn't use water at all . Now 8 days later they still haven't come back to fix the walls and floor that is now growing mold. Main street renewal stated on Monday the 9th that a "team " to fix the issues and someone needed to be here for the repairs. Husband is already back and The 9th was supposed to be my first day of my job. So obviously I had to request from my new employer if I could start later . Monday the 9th rolls around no "team" Tues , no team ...Wednesday no team ! They are real fast to take your money but will not fix any issues , even in an emergency. Thr basement is now moldy , my kid has asthma and this company has been absolutely no help! Even called corporate in Austin TX to get this escalated quickly (since I cant start work and MOLD IS A HEALTH HAZARD)! and still no help! Hamilton stated he "escalated the issue " but no one has been here to fix anything! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I am now at the point of getting lawyer and getting away from this awful company.-

Experiencia negativa: Was going through the application process and I was pretty uncomfortable with the amount of information they require. For instance logging into your bank account through their website. On looking further into the fine print, this company appears to have pretty in depth financial access for the entirety of your interaction with the company. I did not submit the application nor did I agree but somehow when I called to request a refund I had magically already completed and submitted my application and therefore couldn’t be refunded the money. Call center is clearly contracted overseas. I asked to cancel my application and I asked about the details of what financial information the company does have and how long they intend to keep it on file. I’ve gotten nothing but call-center run around and unhelpful email exchange. Every number they give out dumps into their main call center. Obviously I’m not getting my $50 back but I thought this was pretty jarring and unnecessary because this is very clearly by design. I can’t imagine if I actually tried to go through with a rental or even if I was a property owner. Getting help from this company has to be impossible and very aggravating.

Experiencia negativa: I was so excited to move here. We love this house; we love the size of the yard and we’re ecstatic that it had a swimming pool. Everything is done through an app. Which in an emergency is very disconcerting. You will never speak to a supervisor or manager. One will NOT call you back. The people on the convenience number are predominantly very polite and empathetic. But there is only so much they are able to do. Everything has to be requested, everything has to be approved; in an emergency situation nobody will show immediately. I waited 3 days just for someone to finally disconnect my water heater and confirm it was broken. This was three days it streamed all over my garage and belongings in it, after the initial pour out. Nobody from MSR contacted me throughout this endeavor. I should have called my insurance sooner, as farmers was beyond helpful with this. MSR help desk associate told me on the phone they would relocate us as we had gone several days without access to hot water; but nothing happened. I am hopeful that someone does show up and replace the water heater. I was shocked when someone showed up Monday in the late afternoon, the last few contractors sent for issues either did not show up at all, or showed up after I had already let them know when I would be at the premises (I don’t work from home). It seems like the way this is designed to work could be cost effective; however it also seems like this company lacks the proper resources and development needed to keep everything on track. All about money. It is my hope that the developers do read these reviews and are able to navigate the issues in a more efficient fashion in the future. I feel like we should be able to work together with management to produce the best outcome. As it sits, you are definitely not a priority. Only your money is. They promise to credit ledgers, but then take months to complete basic service tasks. A lot of these tasks are things that some of the more handy residents can and are willing to do on their own, but to no credit to your ledger or acknowledgement to management.

Experiencia negativa: My fridge was broken for 10 days. After repeated attempts to get it fixed, I had to purchase one myself. Then, they refused to remove the broken fridge from the property. The house is poorly maintained. They schedule service appointments with less than 24 hours notice. On that notice, it states you will be charged a $100 no show fee if you are not there to meet the technician. A time is not provided on the notice and you cannot request a specific time, like after you get off work. On move in, there were bugs and the floor was so filthy it would turn your socks black. MSR refused to address this and claimed it was the tenant's responsibility - Even though the move out clean on the lease is extensive, the place was filthy on move in. The hot and cold water is flipped. The fans and overhead lights are on the same switch, even though there are two switches. The water shutoff valve for the fridge is in the attic. The AC unit access has literally been drywalled over. The houses are not owned by individuals, they are owned by a corporation. I think they would be better maintained if the houses were actually owned by an individual that used a property management company or was the landlord directly. Yes, the rent is relatively cheap, but its not worth it. Go somewhere else and pay a little more. I have submitted a review with the BBB and encourage others to do the same. I seriously doubt the reviews with more than 1 star are legitimate. MSR google may have 4+ stars but BBB site has them at a 1.2 with 950 reviews.

Experiencia negativa: I have been trying to pay my rent for days. My resident portal is not up to date for account balance. I have been in a delinquent status for TWO months now. Every effort to contact "customer support" has been futile. It's a minimum of 1 hour every time I call, because of a minimum, of 4-7 transfers to different people, as well as repeating my name, address, phone number, email and reason for calling EVERY SINGLE TIME I get transferred. Completely unorganized, uncooperative, inconsistent, lacking knowledge and consistently hanging up. Very unprofessional, extremely disappointing, and a complete waste of time almost every single time I call "customer service". Additionally, I have had my own insurance for 5 years and for some reason every few months, Main Street Renewal's insurance starts back up and I get charged $10.75 every month despite multiple attempts to rectify the situation. I have called half a dozen times facing the issues I have stated above, with 0 results. I have also sent my insurance companies letter to them twice stating my insurance coverage and naming Main Street Renewal in the proof of coverage letter, and still, 0 results. Avoid renting from this company at all costs. No pun intended.

Experiencia negativa: My brother and sister in law cannot anyone from Tampa area office to do any repairs, they have water damage from 2 hurricanes and a tropical storm including foundation repairs needed, water coming in through the floors, a broken window, a sliding glass door that no functioning and rain pours in it. They pay $2200 a month and not one of their maintenance requests have been completed MSR keep either cancelling them, or just ignores them they are ignoring phone calls and emails. My brother has gone to the office multiple times. Horrible that this is allowed. They have 4 children the house is lovely, it’s a shame this company has no concern for their homes well being nor the well being of their renters. There are thousands of complaints on the BBB.

Every month they have been charging me for renter's insurance illegally when I have had active renter's home insurance the entire time and they almost filed an eviction on me for the fees not being paid that they illegally added to my account every month and I have to email, call and threaten to get a lawyer because of what they are doing to my account! I swear I've never had a worse experience with a rental company than Main Street Renewal and no one seems to care!

I’ve been living here over a year paying renters insurance and these people kept telling me it was not compliant without actually telling me why. They kept threatening to enroll me if I don’t enroll and I kept submitting the document showing that I have renters insurance. Now they have auto enrolled me into some random insurance and charging a non compliance fee monthly. That’s okay. Steal your little change from your residents, you will reap all you’ve sown. Never again.

Experiencia negativa: My realtor gave me information about a property, we went to go see the property. I put in an application for the property. I paid $100 for two people. I waited 2 days no answer. I called and was told the property was already rented and that I put my application on an old website and that I would be refunded my $100 and to reapply for something else on the correct website. No problem. I applied for another home on the correct website. Before I even submitted the application their system took another $50 from my account. I immediately called and was told we didn’t see an application on file. So I submitted proof of both charges. Now no one knows anything. Both houses are rented and 2 weeks have passed and still no refund for now $150. Please don’t let these people scam you. This is not a legit company. The keep telling me they are sorry and they will get back to me. When? Just give me my money!

Experiencia negativa: We did the self guided tour and loved the house so we applied right away. We meet all criteria to get into the house we have a rent house right now that we are paying more for but they rejected our applications and took our $100. I think they purposefully leave homes empty for a long time to scam people out of application fees! I wish I would’ve read more into this company before I gave money away apparently this is common thing with them. We tried to reach out to get answers to why we were rejected and they gave us an invalid email to contact someone. Rent else where don’t waste your hard earned money or time with this company.

I have always gotten my deposits back with any other company. This company literally robs people. When I moved into the house there were things the previous renter had left. Experiencia negativa: Three weeks and still can’t get an electric meter identification number from them to give it to the electric company in order to get service. No one has direct phone lines, emails, or other types of communication. The different departments contradict themselves when giving out information. 1-2 days and we’ll get back to you is what I’m told yet 10 days now still waiting for the so called leasing agent to reach out. Get passed in circles and circles to multiple departments and nobody is getting any thing done. A ticket has been made is what I am being told. Think twice before renting here.

Experiencia negativa: I am disappointed, sad, violated, discriminated and a complete mess. I rented a 3 BR house in Cocoa, FL after visiting it. When I visited it was dirty, but was told that before move in things would be in order - cleaned and sanitized, pest control done etc. So I signed my lease on 8/2/24; with a move in of 8/15/24. When I reached on the 15th, the house is FILTHY with bugs crawling all over the place - spiders, ants, cockroaches, silver fish. There are dead bugs near the doors, the bathrooms have stains and are filthy, kitchen appliances have mildew and stains. The AC is not working - and I'm in FL - the temperature in the house is 96 degrees. I called the 855 number, and was reminded of how I should be paying my rent on time - and that I have to put in maintenance requests for cleaning/pest control/AC not working. They will contact the vendor and I am at the vendor's mercy for when they can send a technician. My cat has been panting ALL night, needless to say it's unbearable. I am a USMC minority Veteran and just came back to FL.. and this is what I have. Main Street was quick to take my money - and are not quick in getting my issues fixed. Any call to them is a hold for 1 hour on an average. There is no agent or a property manager that I can work with directly. I am asking to be released from my lease and give me my money back. I cannot even step into the moldy unhygienic house - let alone live in it.

Experiencia negativa: This company is in violation of the Missouri security deposit law for several reasons. We vacated their property on 6/8/2024. We only received their itemized list for supposed damages yesterday, on 7/21/2024. We have an early termination agreement signed and dated for 6/8/2024, which violates the 30 days outlined by law. The list of damages is questionable or outright falsified. The property was in terrible condition when we moved in. Aside from being extremely filthy, there were also numerous issues with the property. There were previous tenants belongings left on the deck, trees growing through the deck, chains on the deck, damage to walls, floor, paint, trim, and baseboards, loose carpet (not transition piece), paint splatters on floors, oven was not functional, and dishwasher was not properly anchored. Despite these existing conditions and issues, this company is attempting to charge us over 1,000 of our security deposit for damages. Given the abhorrent conditions when we moved in, I fail to see how we are monetarily responsible for any issues with the home. We also attempted to have a walk through with a company representative three times to avoid this, but were denied the opportunity. We are active duty military and have rented for 10 years, we have never been charged for damages like this and have rarely seen such horrible conditions on a “move in ready” house. **edited to add: I’ve already created a case with the company directly and with the better business bureau.

Experiencia negativa: WORST company I have ever dealt with. Seems that every issue that ever comes up just so happens to be "resident responsibility". They are useless. Our A/C went out in the middle of the summer; days were above 95 degrees. They took over a week to fix it even though that it was considered, per the lease, an emergency situation. Then they had the audacity to charge us $1400 for the repairs and refused to give us any additional details; the tech that came out to fix it even told us while he was here that there was nothing that we could have done to prevent the issue. Later, bees began swarming at the front of the house; we were unable to use the front door. After waiting on hold for nearly two hours to talk to someone about it, I was told that it was "resident responsibility" to take care of the bees. I explained that the bees had gotten under the siding of the house and that more than likely the siding would need to be removed to fully take care of the problem. That didn't change their answer: "resident responsibility". A truly USELESS company. Rent from anyone else. Avoid at all costs.

Experiencia negativa: My family relocated from Maryland to Texas so my autistic son could attend a special program. We have no family in Texas. A broken water valve flooded our rental home pausing our move-in with no response to an urgent maintenance request for nearly 24 hours. No mold prevention protocol was initiated. A dehumidifier was placed 2 days later and a fan 2 weeks after. Numerous complaints were submitted regarding mold and health concerns. Instead of correcting the problem, we were displaced from the home for more than 30 days even after paying a full month’s rent. My 2 children with mental health challenges are allergic to mold. We resided in multiple hotels at our own expense with no accommodations as per the Fair Housing Act regardless of my son’s disability. This situation forced us to eat fast food every day. My son who is gluten free/dairy free/corn free had limited choices since we had no kitchen. This situation exacerbated my children’s condition triggering my autistic son’s behaviors, so much so that police intervention was necessary, and we were kicked out of a hotel (including my 89-year-old handicapped mother). My son who did not do well with the hotel transition missed nearly 2 weeks of school. I developed a chronic cough, headaches, and brain fog when at the home. My many complaints were ignored. The request for mold/air quality testing was never done. Weeks later, the drywall from the bathroom ceiling was caving in due to water damage. The ceiling was removed, and water continued to drain. A large amount of mold was on the wood and insulation. Instead of allowing the area to properly dry and remediate, MSR instructed new drywall be placed over the wet mold and to paint the ceiling to camouflage the issue. 99% moisture was confirmed yet the dehumidifier actively capturing water and the fan were both removed. Even with proof that no mold testing was done, MSR denied my transfer request and lied stating the home had been checked for mold and was safe to move in. After MSR received a legal demand letter, the transfer request decision was reversed. An early lease termination was warranted as MSR breached the lease agreement by not providing habitable housing. MSR sent us a highly restricted settlement that prohibited filing complaints or taking them to court, etc., in exchange for our first month’s rent and security deposit. The expenses accrued were about $20,000 and our credit was damaged. We never lived in this home, yet MSR only refunded our security deposit of $2445. No refund was issued for the rent or other fees that were charged, and there was no reimbursement for our out-of-pocket expenses.

Experiencia negativa: I moved out April 3rd 2024 it’s May 16 2024 and still no return of security deposit I’ve callled everyday I’ve sent emails I put in request on the app. I’ve sent a demand letter but still no response. I called the cooperate office but it wasn’t any help. MAINSTREET IS A JOKE…. They talk and communicate through the entire process to get you into the home then once you move in your on your own. There care team sucks. They don’t have a reliable maintenance team. The vendors they use are trash. Poor quality all around. SEND ME MY DEPOSIT BACK IVE GIVEN MY FORWARDING ADDRESS A MILLION TIMES. You guys need to revamp management and your customer service team. I will never rent from main street and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I’d rather be homeless than to stay with main street .

Experiencia negativa: They have literally lied to me about the simplest things. My wife and I have lived with mold for over 6 months and they have attempted to fix things. However their representative cannot even schedule with the mold company and hotel to make sure my pregnant wife and I with my toddler have a place to stay while they fix the mold. They will pass the buck to someone else saying it is out of their hands or it's another department's problem.

Experiencia negativa: I'm a current renter with MSR and have been renting with them for over three years, but I warn you they are not someone I would suggest to rent from. A week after we moved in we discovered that our pool/hot tub heater was burned up, we have sent in work request every six months and each time within two days we get an email and a phone call from a representative of MSR letting us know that "ownership" doesn't believe repairing the pool heater is cost effective and they wont approve the repair. We pay a $175.00 pool fee each month in addition to our rent for cleaning and maintenance, says it right on the contract. This just shows that MSR cares more about return on investment than customer service. Currently we are dealing with our garage door being broken since 04/24/2024, it's 05/03/2024 as of this review. We have had one vehicle trapped in the garage because the spring snapped and then the door bound up, it took them a week just to send someone out, and when that vendor arrived he stated that he had to get the work approved and MSR would need to get caught up on their bills to them before he could even touch our garage door. This is a huge RED FLAG if MSR isn't paying their vendors in a timely manner..... We will continue to rent from MSR since we just resigned our lease in April but we will seriously be considering moving next year.

Experiencia negativa: Less than one star. I rented a home for a year. We gave our 30day notice to vacate on February 4, 2023, we completed our walk through on February 26th, it is noted in their system on that same day that the home is in good condition. That being said they are now fining us for lawn maintenance, continuing to charge us rent and have started an eviction process. It is virtually impossible to speak to an actual person and if you do they have no clue and say it’s a different department, multiple emails which do not get addressed just sent to another “specialist” I am currently working with the BBB. I have even emailed them screenshot from their own resident portal showing January rent was paid and the date I gave notice. Although they have great rental homes in nice neighborhoods stay away as their business practices are quite suspicious

Experiencia negativa: I am a current resident and have been for about 3 years. It’s not easy having things resolved as when you contact the company, these are agents working in “Costa Rica.” They transfer, transfer, transfer. They do not follow up with residents as promised. I have repeated the issue over 55 different times to different agents. This is because they don’t warm transfer. They blind transfer. I have been calling regarding a ledger issue since March 1. Up until March 1,2024, I had no issues. I have called , texted , and emailed. No resolve. This is not a good experience. There has to be a better way. Call Center agents are polite but the scripts do not fit the issues here. I would aim at first call resolution. Maybe input Sharepoint where tasks can be divided and worked efficiently. Personally, I think a happy resident is a resident that doesn’t call or email. To me that means no issues. However, residents calling keeps the call center in business with MS renewal. Something to think about.

Experiencia negativa: I really don't do reviews. Much less negative reviews. However, our oven has been out for 4 weeks (when ticket was submitted). Called and had ticket "escalated" after no contact or updates for 3 weeks. Waited 4 days and still nothing. Called back, "escalated" even more. Nothing. Called again just now (48 hours later) and got another run-around about escalating. This is a broken system. Paying $2700 a month in rent and can't use the GD oven.

Experiencia negativa: I currently have a tub that has been running for the last three days. Second day finally got a representative to escalate the maintenance request and was told the company would be out that day to fix, only to be told it was sent as an urgent request, although it was an escalated ticked and the vendor DENIED the request. Third day had to call multiple times only to be told hours later they are working on it, which means my family will not be able to take showers again (three straight days). Supervisors are useless as they only repeat what the representative have said. At this point we either will have to check into a hotel or pay to have it fixed.

In Fact it is filled with roaches infestation. It will contaminate every single furnitures, appliances you will bring into this home. If you moved into this home after 3months you will start to see every kind on roaches that you have never seen before, especially in the kitchen and living room at nights. While renting we have had pest control over but it was beyond their control. The company will not do anything about it. This is the reason we stopped paying their rent and left because they didn't care.Just be mindful you will have to get rid of all of your stuff to move into another place if not your new place will be contaminated as well... This home needs to be demolished!!!

Experiencia negativa: I am a past resident of this company I called again my 20th time calling and 30 emails another representative told me my security deposit check of $1,865.00 has been sent to the incorrect address again this is the 5th time! I've called an attorney today to sue for the amount of the security deposit+ legal fees and 20% more. I have recordings and emails about this ongoing issue. This is ridiculous!!!!! I’ve had the same issue 3 times in the last 60days; they do not fix things right the first time!! No one takes ownership of the issues; they would rather put a bandaid on the problem vs fixing it!! I currently have 2 workouts out; the tech was a no show for the appt; how disrespectful to hv me adjust my schedule to be available from 8-12pm and no one to show up!! I’ve been on the phone for 57mins FOR THE SECOND TIME TODAY trying to get this fixed! Imagine having 2 bathrooms and neither are fully functioning!!! This is a poor excuse for a rental company and I regret my decision on renewing every month!!!

Experiencia negativa: After paying the $100 application fee ($50 per person), I received an email on 11/18 stating that the property we applied for was leased to someone else. However, on 11/21, the agent called to inform us that they had to remove the property from their listings because an unauthorized homeless person was living inside and had vandalized the home. I requested a refund of our application fee due to this situation but was refused. They essentially scammed us out of $100 because of their failure to adequately secure and exercise due diligence for their property. Despite their insistence that we consider renting another property they manage, I have decided never to engage with this company again. It is highly dishonest to claim a property is rented to someone else when, in fact, it is inoperable due to their own negligence. Yet, I'm the one out $100?? I wouldn't trust this company to be my landlord if this is how they conduct themselves during the application process.

Experiencia negativa: Have contacted the "support" team over four times now to ask for permissions for my HOA to release my parking pass, pool pass, rules and regulations guidelines, etc. Each time I am told that an area manager will contact me but that does not happen (we moved in 5 months ago and have gotten nowhere with this company). I have now been getting $25 HOA violation charges for unknown reasons and still am unable to even park my car in my neighborhood as I don't have a parking pass.

Experiencia negativa: Prior to applying I had spoken to the leasing manager, Stacie Biffle. After paying $200 in application fees to submit an application, my application sat dormant for 11 days and was not processed. Upon inquiry, the reason given: “a new policy“ that only applies to applicants who wish to use an HCV requiring MHA to commit to an inspection within 14 days after application approval BEFORE my application will even be processed. A commitment that no one at MHA has the authority to make. It has now been 10 days since I was promised a refund and 21 days since the date I applied. The HCV expires in 2 days. When questioned as to why the funds had not been refunded to my bank account as promised, I was told they couldn’t refund the original method of payment and a check was mailed. I’m STILL watching and waiting. This undocumented “policy” is extremely discriminatory in practice and I’m not sure how they are being allowed to blatantly violate federal law. I’d like to give MSR big thanks for nothing but wasted time. Nice homes, deceptive practices.

Maintenance issues don't get resolved. 10 day for water 15 days for ac 34 days still can't use any outlet in the kitchen. 34 days in and I can't use the master bed room bathroom because it floods the basment They didn't clean before moving. They lie constantly about doing or getting something done. Avoid at all cost. This type of company is the perfect example of why the American housing market is trashed.

Experiencia negativa: Hmmm where to start. Maintenance requests after Maintenance request goes unanswered in phone, email and even in in app. Going on two months now my roof needs to be repaired because water leaked from the evaporative cooler causing a leak on the side room where now there is mold in a part of the ceiling where it collapsed. I repeat two months!!! Time after time, I’ve been told this issue has been referred to one of two local third party vendors- Vendor A has NEVER responded to an MSRenewal request- has told us frankly they never have any intention of coming here. They have never even acknowledged receipt one single work order. They say they’ve told MSRenewal this- to no avail. When we finally reach offshore representatives, they switch the vendor to Vendor B- a local handyman service- WHO HAVE ALSO STATED THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF COMING TO COMPLETE REPAIRS UNTIL THE MOLD IS REMEDIATED. MSRenewal response? To send a mold remediation request.... To the same two vendors. We have an open ceiling, exposing beams and black mold into our living space. It has been months. —- This is to say nothing of the out of code electrical, and the nonreimbursement of out of pocket money we spent so that we could have power when the exposed wiring finally gave out to the summer sun. Nothing to say of all this- and being charged $200 for a battery change out- on a call regarding our furnace (which still constantly goes out and was never actually addressed...) The list goes on- but this review won’t. —- MSRenewal is interested in gentrifying income vulnerable neighborhoods- but not even remotely interested in maintaining the homes there. We love our home and never want to leave but...Beware. Even with perfect payment history they do not care about tenants. Edit/Update: Still the worst company on earth literally. They still haven’t fixed the hole in the ceiling , where water leaked from the constant call about the leaking swamp cooler. The contractors they have are just as unreliable at fixing things. Know this they had an office in Phoenix which closed down. They are based out of Texas. They always screw up the works tickets and God forbid you have more than one issue. Forget about it as neither will be taken care of. The call center doesn’t speak English well and never seem to understand the request……EVER. Do yourself a favor stay away from the company.. the headaches, stress, and constant wondering if and when it will get fixed correctly. Soon I fear the whole ceiling will collapse. Again… do yourself a favor a different slum lord company. They got to be better. BtW In Arizona tenants have no rights so be careful of that too.

Experiencia negativa: This company and all the other LLC under Joseph Vincent Gatti is a scam. We are neighbors to one of their properties. The attorney Joseph Vincent Gatti who owns this company, owns numerous LLC's. Over 74 different LLC's are attached to him. Do NOT rent from this company. Check your county records before renting any property. Do NOT use cash APP with this company at all. So far 2 different families have been evicted after paying a hefty down payment and monthly rent. The current residence hasn't even been in the property for a month after putting over thousands of dollars before moving in and has been evicted. 5 other families showed up saying they paid thousands of dollars to rent after the current tenants moved in. The current tenants have to go to court. I am leaving this review in an effort to help others beware and to hold them accountable for recking peoples families and lives. They are doing this to people who can't afford to fight this, who are disabled, have small children, out of state, etc.. Their claim is the families are squatters even though they paid the required fees. Even changing the code on the door, so they can no longer leave their property or have to leave with the door open and never provided them with a key. Just hopefully this is read before leasing with them and it happens to you. FYI. The response the gave to this review is a bogus link.

Experiencia negativa: Today was my move in day and I was greeted with a collapsed ceiling, missing appliances, and an open attic. This is not what the house looked like before I signed the lease. You can’t contact leasing agents directly you have to go through call center that I don’t think are local. Manager was supposed to be getting back to me today after her “meetings” never did. They have my security deposit and prorated rent which is based on my first day being today. I have videos and photos of how the house looked before and they are all time stamped. It’s like they like for people to take legal action. I am also reaching out to WSB tv. Good story of unprofessional leasing companies. If you are looking for good customers service, this is not the company. They hide behind call centers and they don’t give out direct numbers so they can dodge their tenants and not ever have to physically talked to them. I am speaking with an attorney and if I stay in this lease it will just be for the year. Would never renew. If they do not fix this in timely manner as well as adjust my rent I have paid upfront to compensate for me not officially moving in then I will be using an attorney to get my deposit and any monies paid to a prorated rent. Oh and when it comes to these reviews they love sending an automated response that also leads to nowhere and no one calling you back.

Experiencia negativa: Management was supposed to contact me within 24 hours. It’s been 2 weeks and nothing. Customer service refuses to give me their local number or address. They are still holding my first months rent and deposit and fraudulently stated to my bank that the charges are accurate and I signed a contract that stated security and rent would not be refunded. This is not true. The $50 deposit is generally not refundable but security and first month’s rent is. I was ready to move in when they contacted me stating they rented the home to someone else! I was promised my money would be returned. I am at a loss of what to do. Are there any attorneys out there who can provide some guidance?

And when they do no one who comes to the house can speak anything but broken english. 5 different visits to fix a leak under the kitchen sink. When we first moved in no one showed up to do the walk thru, I repaired somethings myself and they told me to send them an invoice which is still unpaid until this date 6 months later.

Experiencia negativa: I rented this home December of 2022. The master bathroom was not fully operable as the tub leaked throughout my bedroom (water everywhere). I called in to report the issue. It took a week before someone came out. I explained to the leasing agent that this house should have been fully expected before leasing it out. Not to mentioned they sent the landscaping guys out to cut the grass and removes the tree limbs. The guys knocked on the door and stated they will be working in the yard. However, they immediately left. I called in to Mainstreet to let them know not to pay the company because they did not do any work. As we speak the tree limbs are still in the yard 5 months later. Add insult to injury, we were given a credit of $320 due to the master bathroom not being used. However, they have been billing us for utilities and insurance something we already have. Now how are they estimating the usage as we have provided them with the utility documents showing we have utilities in our name. I can't get anyone on the phone to handle the direct issue. Customer service states that they will send an email. Five months later nothing is corrected. I am constantly being billed for services that I already pay directly to the providers. This company is not displaying good customer service. They will take your money and there is no one you can talk directly to.

Experiencia negativa: I just moved into 8628 NW 91st ST. There are some ridiculous electrical problems here. The hot water heater is smoked, needs replaced. Also, there are a few receptacles with no power (washer in laundry area). There are several holes in walls in the garage. From what I'm reading in the lease, if I don't walk around and document every single issue all throughout the home, I'll be charged for it's repair when I move out. So, you're wanting me to do a complete inspection of the home, when you guys haven't even done that? Were you aware the hot water heater was already fried? Were you guys aware of all the holes and all the electrical issues? I paid a lot of money and jumped through a lot of hoops to move into a home that is ready to be lived in. I really would appreciate an expedited response/ solution.

Experiencia negativa: I'll begin with this is my first time ever leaving a review for a company. I wish I could leave 0 stars. I fell in love with one of their homes after paying to tour it on March 26th. After that day I called into their office, every single day, for two weeks. In that two weeks I spoke to several representatives who would "attempt to connect me with a leasing agent". I called every single day and made sure the representative made a note on my account that I had called as my agreement had already been "accepted". The calls would never go through.. must be on lunch. They gave me an email address and assured I would recieve a response in "24-48 hours". No response. I called every day for two weeks with no response. Finally after giving up hope I spoke with an agent. My application was accepted now I need to pay. I called repeatedly again to secure my payment to no response (typical). Finally after two days of calling, texting and emailing I get a text back from someone in the company saying the house is taken. I cannot recall the last time I have been this frustrated. This was absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed. I cannot imagine what it would be like to rent from this company. I wasted precious time and energy to secure a home for my family just to be ignored.

Experiencia negativa: Does this company even have a management department or corporate office? Update: Apparently not. I have been waiting 2 weeks for response from a branch manager or supervisor and your company has $2500 of my money And so little respect for its potential customers/tenants. That I cannot even receive a phone call for an update as to where I am in the process . There is no district office local office nowhere where I can go in and speak to someone sit down and speak to someone regarding this matter there is no utility department office from what I've been told all of these people were just sitting at home passing off calls/ problems on to each other it's absolutely ridiculous and and you guys need to be brought up on charges. I have already begun filing my official grievance with the department of housing and urban development as well as the better business Burea. And retained my legal counsel.

Experiencia negativa: Save yourself the headache. Don't rent from this incompetent group. As long as all you need to is to pay your rent and nothing else you'll be ok. Even then the portal to pain is a pain. But have an issue or need to get a hold of someone, good luck. Their automated responses say it may take 10-15 BUSINESS days to reply. But the reality is you probably won't ever get a response. And if you can find a number to call you better expect to sit on hold only to be bounced between departments and accomplish nothing. Moral of the story, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Forger about getting repairs done if they are costly. They send out techs who write reports that are never addressed. One even told me "They won't fix this. They don't want to spend any money." So I still have electrical issues that a tech said could be a fire Hazzard and the fence which was at least mostly standing has fallen into the neighbor's yard. The worst is that they changed their payment system, which caused my auto pay y o not be drafted from my account and although. I called twice znd spoke to two different people who swore that the money would be drafted from my accountand that I would get confirmation of the payment, all I got is a threatening notice about anattempt to collect a debt. If this impacts my credit score, I am calling a lawyer. Renting socks. If I owned the house. I we ould make the repairs myself.

They don’t pay their maintenance technicians enough money for everything that they want them to do. And Keith Barnes is somehow in a maintenance directors position, yet he has never held a maintenance position in his life. They just use their employees and mess over their tenants. They are not a fair company. I’d avoid them at all costs.

Experiencia negativa: They are terrible at calling you back when you been having a dispute for months. They sent a company to my home because the septic tank was backing up into the tub. The company falsely written a work order stating I used wet wipes when it was tissue and the septic tank needed to be pumped. The maintenance department charged me with that fee of 1063. No one reach out to me I left a long message on the number where you can text to talk to someone and no one responded to the message.I ask for an area manager or regional manager to call me back and of course no one called me back. No I do not want to leave an email to the resident care team because I did that many times. The collection department will call you and send you messages all day long. I love where I live and my kids are comfortable. I am very frustrated with this company and the unprofessionalism it gives its residents. It zero stars for me!!!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give Main Street Renewal zero stars, I would. We’ve rented under several different rental companies in the past and they are by the far the worst we’ve ever dealt with. Our house was renovated with the cheapest materials possible and we have been fined for things that are their responsibility to cover. There is no recourse to appeal so you have no choice but to pay it so you don’t get kicked out of your house. Most recently, they replaced our dead fridge with a fridge half the size. The people dropping it off didn’t even take the old fridge. They left it in place because they couldn’t figure out how to disconnect the water and put the new fridge in our dining room. Now we have two refrigerators in our house with half of the usable capacity that we had before. I would recommend avoiding them at all costs.
