Experiencia negativa: If you’re considering using Main Street Renewal, think twice. I’ve spent the last three months trying to get a simple renters‑insurance verification resolved, and the level of incompetence is unbelievable. I had continuous insurance the entire time, and I uploaded proof more than six times. Every time I contacted them, I got a different answer: One agent said my document was compliant. Another said it wasn’t, but couldn’t explain why. Another said they’d call me back — they didn’t. A manager finally called and admitted he wasn’t even sure whether my document was compliant or not. Meanwhile, they kept charging me for “non‑compliance,” forced‑placed insurance, and late fees tied to their own delays. They even tried to justify a $25 fee because the certificate had their old address — an address their own agents still sign off with. They also claimed another leaseholder wasn’t listed, even though she has never been listed in previous years and it was never an issue. This is not a tenant problem. This is a system failure on their side. I’ve wasted hours uploading documents, calling support, chatting with agents, and opening tickets. Their internal process is so disorganized that even their manager couldn’t tell me what was going on. If you value your time, sanity, or money, be prepared to fight for basic accuracy. This company needs serious internal reform before they should be managing anyone’s home.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away from this company!!! They are highly disorganized and never get things done. Before I signed in, they promised to clean the property s pool. When I moved in, the house was dirty, covered in spider webs, and they refused to clean it. The pool was NOT cleaned as promised, and it took them 2-3 months to get it up and running. Four months later, the jacuzzi stopped working, and despite the multiple times I reached out, they never got it fixed, all that while charging a $150 monthly pool service fee. During the move-out, I hired a cleaning crew, and they were spot-on, but Main Street still charged a cleaning fee from the security deposit. What a joke. The communication with the management team is also a nightmare. So if you decide to move forward with them, GOOD LUCK!

I have lived here 3 years, had my backyard dug up twice (and I had to fill the dirt back in and fix my fence after both repairs), the ac/heat was not installed correctly so half the house is miserable in summer and in winter time, I can’t get a hold of a human. My children and I had to leave the house to use the restroom as the plumbing was a nightmare on so many occasions. My daughter stood up in the shower and the cheap plastic shower insert(shelf) broke causing a huge hole in the shower. When they did find time to come fix it they left sharp plastic so now instead of a hole to deal with, I have to keep bandaging up my kids cuts just to take a shower or bath. I finally got to move out and they “magically” have a renewed lease. I told them this is fraudulent, I did not renew as I bought a home. Now I am fighting with them, via the portal as they won’t call me, because they are saying I’m legally responsible for the lease I didn’t sign. I had them send it to me and it was “signed” 5 days before I closed on my house. This company is financially and mentally draining. I thought I finally got out and now I have to pursue legal action before I can be free of this mess.

I can depend on him if I have any sort of trouble with the house, he knows his stuff, and if their is somthing the maintenance team doesn't handle directly he'll reach out to the right people to make sure issues get resolved. Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! We’ve only lived in our home for one month and we have had nothing but issue after issue with Main Street Renewal. From our house being disgusting upon move-in, our appliances being broken upon move-in and our house being infested with MICE upon move-in and now a month after moving in we are being falsely auto-enrolled into their renters insurance program and fined even after we gave them our proof of insurance that covers all of their terms. Dealing with them has been a nightmare! They have refused to take care of our mouse problem and came up with excuse after excuse why they can’t. They are impossible to get ahold of and DO NOT care about their tenants. Seriously avoid them at all cost.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t lease Edited for details: This company is horrible—do not lease from them. Their customer service is practically non-existent, and they almost never respond. When they do, it’s like starting all over again: they ask for the same paperwork I’ve already sent multiple times. When Mainstreet took over from the previous management company, I had already completed a roommate release. The lease was only in my name, yet they still made me pay another deposit and sign a new lease. Then, when I moved out, they sent my deposit refund check in both names—even though the other person hadn’t been on the lease or living there since before Mainstreet took over. I have now been fighting with them for over six months, and I still have not received my deposit back. Their incompetence, poor communication, and lack of accountability make renting from them an absolute nightmare. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Update: It is October 18 and still haven’t received deposit or any update. I called the number on their response to my original review and they say they couldn’t help me. They couldn’t give me an update because it was a different department and they don’t have a direct contact. I told them to pass a message to that department and I still haven’t heard anything. It’s been months and nothing. Like I said terrible company.

Experiencia fantástica: Brett was fast with helping fix my dryer vent issue. I suspected there was lint blocking the outer vent, but I didn't know where it was. He had to come back another day (today) with a taller ladder to get on the roof to access the dryer vent (because apparently that's where it is). Took probably less than a minute. He had also showed me how to access my water valves in the house and outside (since there is no main one in the house), which I asked him for, in case of an emergency. Corey was also there, and its always nice talking to them. They are good people :)

Experiencia negativa: I rented in OKC a home which half the house had no AC/heat, plumbing issues. The laminate tile over the cracked slab started shifting and cracking. Repairmen came by and stated all problems were due the slab. They are now charging me for the floor after I moved out. NO LOCAL CONTACTS, NO ACCOUNTABILITY. I will now be fighting the collections process into court if necessary. CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!

Experiencia positiva: Was told the place was move in ready. Turns out the power meter was broken and there had been prior flood damage. They took so long fixing things that when a freeze snap came though it caused water pipes to bust, causing more damage. They are a complete joke of a company. ------------------------------ August edit: I wanted to update that they have fixed all issues and have been very responsive to maintenance issues and other concerns. While not 5 stars they have shown a willingness to fix issues and communicate in a timely manner with my wife and I.
