Negative experience: They do not read what is written to them in the 'Contact' form, they simply reply asking unrelated questions, making it quite clear they do not know why you contacted them in the first place. If they cannot read a few simple sentences before reaching out to me I would not trust them to handle any real estate transaction that would obviously require much more attention to detail than they seem capable of.

Fantastic experience: Carl Wiltfong did an amazing job for us throughout out relcation from out of state. It was a long and rather arduous process, and Carl stuck by us and advocated for us throughout. He was patient and available and went to bat for us continuously. When it came to actually make the purchase, Carl made sure we had all the information we needed - and as new-to-Alaska buyers, he made sure we knew what we didn't know we needed to know! I highly recommend Carl, and have already recommended to others I know who are considering a move.

Negative experience: Larry aka Beau and Kari were the worst realtors we have ever dealt with. Horrible design ideas, work for buyer not seller, non professional and extream lack of knowledge overall. Our house sold itself no help to these two charltons. Stay clear from them and this firm.

Negative experience: Nothing but trouble with these people. I can't get anything done with them. A simple plumbing issue goes almost 2 months with no resolution. These guys are ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Our Real Estate Agent was Awesome !!!!

Negative experience: Dealing with this company is a pain. We have to share a right of way with one of the properties they maintenance and people had time sensitive issues. To which they decided to ignore all request creating confrontation between parties. They clearly don't respect their neighbors since no snow has been removed creating traffic issues and cars stranded leaving people not associated with the property stuck. Now they aren't doing anything again and when you call Angela who is supposed to solve this she just ignores your calls while you get threated for trying to go home

Negative experience: really not happy right now I literally got an eviction notice for $15.90 we have been in this rental for two years jack white took over I think a year ago the service comparison to the other people the year previously are terrible the agent I won't mention for now came "knocking on the door" marks on the eviction notice I tried knocking I'm literally sitting 6 feet away from the door did not hear a thing I've paid rent on time every month for 2 years not sure where the 15 came from but obviously dont have a problem paying it. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: I was originally pleased with Ms. Romick because she steered me in the right direction for a place to rent. The properties in this area are absolutely horrible. However, she gets only two stars because immediately after we moved in, she stopped all communication with me. I have sent her two emails over the course of the last month and she hasn’t responded to either one. Nothing at all. I guess she got what she wanted… the commission for renting a place. Customer service isn’t on her list of priorities. If and when the time comes, I will steer people away from her. Maybe she will see this and care, but it’s unlikely. If my property manager in GA treated my customers like this, he would be fired.

Fantastic experience: I know Mardi personally so when came time to choose a realtor, I knew who to call. That said, I was unprepared for the level of commitment, communication and availability she provided. This was also a last minute decision on my part but once it was made, Mardi jumped in with both feet, running. Even though I was driving to California and there was almost no way to reach me while in Canada, Mardi had the connections set up so when I checked each night I could review and reply for the next days steps to be completed. Thank you Mardi.

Fantastic experience: Angela R has done a amazing job managing the property and being my landlady she has gone above and beyond and even responded outside business hours and done her absolute best to resolve any and all issues and concerns. If your looking for a rental I highly recommend the property's she manages.

Negative experience: Typical rental management company...they are now well past due date of returning my security deposit from a kenai rental. The lease and property manager state the renter's deposit return two weeks after love out and this was not met ( still waiting) . After correspondence I am told to "hang in there". On top of that , I am getting alerts from the rent payment portal that I am past due on rent and have another month due when my lease term had ended prior to both of these months.

Negative experience: Took forever to get back to me. Also very rude customer service. Asked about a rental property that i saw on the website then she said needed to be filled as soon as possible, then when I said I needed a rental about 3 months from now, she just said okay bye.

Negative experience: I've called several times and left messages and have yet to receive a call back from any of the realtors from Jack White. Definitely will not be working with them in the future.

He really stepped up when the snow started to fall and the furnace wasn't working- yikes! I know at times I frustrated him, and I appreciate his patience and his counseling, he is good at what he does. Now that all is signed and done with, I will miss Tyler calling with updates, to tell me everything is going to be okay. I recommend him for real estate needs.

They dont even follow their own rules outlined on their application forms and we were only trying to get a rental. I Will absolutely never consider them in the future and I recommend to my peers they dont waste their time. VERY unprofessional in communication- or the lack of communication. One bad realtor can ruin it for the rest

They worked really hard for us over about 4 months where they had to manage repairs with a tenant still living there, assisting with tenant moving out, tackling more repairs, helping us choose between multiple offers, negotiating the best deal for us, navigating contract changes including 1031 exchange and early occupancy by the buyers. All seamless. Great communication and follow-through. They were amazing to work with and I would recommend them to everyone!

Negative experience: This so called real estate company lost me thousands of dollars. We had a signed list of repairs and basically none of them were met. We caught on to a few things but not everything. We ended up having to fix the stuff that was in the contract. My own name is amanda and I wouldnt trust this amanda chick for real estate. She will screw you over. I was 5 months pregnant when we were on the closing issues and wanted to make sure I wasn't walking into a home with tons of repairs. Which I ended up having to do. I was also harrassed by the old lady that owned the house before me, literally would show up and harrass me about her mail.. Worse decision I made was buying from this company..

We were introduced to Jack White by a local acquaintance, and got John Matheson’s contact information through them. John has been very professional and very attentive. I don’t think realtors make much (if any?) commissions through rental clients, but he has been courteous, going above and beyond regardless: Sending frequent updated lists, following up, checking on the application progress and our requests with the property managers even before us. I feel that finding something we like under this market really depends on luck and chances, but the feeling of having someone who knows, and would look out for us really makes a big difference.

Negative experience: They sold me a home with green sewage water coming out of the pipes. Traci informed me to let it run its been off for a while and I trusted her. I will never again go through such a deceitful company. Only look out for their own pockets. I would not recommend purchasing anything from Jack white real estate.

Fantastic experience: Warren Allen is the go to agent at JW. He is professional, patient, kind, and someone who becomes and “old” friend after 5 minutes of conversation. He is attentive to detail, responds quickly, and does research in times when he isn’t showing homes so that he comes prepared to every meeting with new info or home suggestions. He asks the right questions and loves to help people find what they love, which is so apparent in how he conducts business. 10/10 would recommend for all of your buying and selling needs!

Positive experience: Two years ago almost to date I didnt feel as if Margie did her job very well during my first time home buying experience. (She was the seller's realtor) Looking back I left a pretty bad review that got a lot of views and probably lost business for her. Since then I have more understanding of her position as their realtor. She has help us out two years later, with no thinking twice of my review. I actually forgot I left it, never the less she reminded me of it. I promised her with how much she helped me, I would review and rewrite the review. However I still stand strong about not using Alaska Chimney Sweep. We just had a new inspection done and they have cost us $1500 for a stove they past inspection. Two years later that same stove fail in all ways and will cost about $1500 to fix.
