Positive experience: The listing wasn’t easy to access because of the lock box, but I managed to find it and get the key. I arrived early and noticed someone seemed to be living in the house. There was a black cat looking out the patio door, and when I first arrived, I heard a lot of noise coming from inside. I waited in my car for my appointment and saw a woman coming down the stairs with a lot of things in her hands and arms, including the black cat. She returned to the listing and carried down what looked like pizza boxes, which she threw in the trash. This made me feel a bit uneasy since I was alone with my 11-month-old daughter when I came to view the property. I called the office and informed them that I couldn’t access the key. They were helpful and informed me that I was too early and needed to wait for my appointment time.
Positive experience: First moved in it wasn't that great I have been here for 2 years now. It's has really improved 100%. Neighbors are nice just a great place now no complaints from me. Miss our property manager Denise but we see her from time to time. Have a great day everybody

We sure do appreciate the critical feedback and will try very hard to get tenant caused repairs fixed for tenants even faster! Please keep in mind though, repairs for tenant damage are the expense of the tenant, so when you expect an instant fix in the middle of the night there will be a significantly higher cost than waiting until normal business hours to have a non emergency repair fixed. Nonetheless if you would like to pay overtime in the future we would be happy to accommodate the request!

Negative experience: So far I’ve toured two maybe three properties, never able to get through to a leasing agent, personally through the phone nor email only correspondence is the automatic communication for scheduling a tour, just to apply and get denied! Nice property

Negative experience: Place is a joke and should change there name from Corazon. They have no heart The recently have taken over properties in Carson City and have been nothing but terrible im a tenant at same location for 5 years once the took over two months ago they have not even came to check the location i complain that has old hvac system to be looked at and that my and my kids a 13 yesr old and 3 year old daughter are having breathing issues that i see small items coming down from vents and its not 3 weeks of them ignoring calls not replying saying Dennise is busy she dont do anything tried going above her to chris same no call back to handle this health issue. They finally have someone coming to look and hopefully fix this issue i have insulation and fiber glass coming down in me and my kids i have to wait a week for someone to come and inspect this issue i have begged and pleaded for help and instead i get a “ rent increase” notification in email cause they are terrible people my increase is “$500” from where i am now There trying to push me out. Single dad with two kids and these real concerning health issues for me and my kids. There a joke and have no morals and to cowardly to return calls and do things the right way and care about there tenants stay away from using them as property’s managers for all tenants and landlords. 20 days and counting since I've made these issues aware to them.

We take allegations regarding health and safety very seriously. The statements in this review do not accurately reflect the full circumstances.
When our company assumed management of the property, we inherited pre-existing conditions and a lease that clearly outlines tenant maintenance responsibilities. The photos attached to this review depict conditions that fall within those tenant obligations. These were not items created or ignored by our management.
After receiving notice of the HVAC concern, we coordinated vendor inspection in accordance with standard scheduling and access procedures. At no point were safety issues dismissed. Documentation of communication and work orders is on file.
Regarding rent adjustments, those decisions are made by the property owner based on market conditions. Our role is to implement the owner’s direction in compliance with Nevada law and the lease terms.
We are committed to professional and lawful property management for both residents and owners. If you would like to review the documented timeline and lease provisions together, we are willing to do so directly.

From day one, they’ve gone above and beyond. When my air conditioning went out, one of their team members even dropped off multiple fans at my home after work on her own time. That kind of personal care is unheard of in property management. Negative experience: Their scheduling is a massive mess. And they won’t answer any calls. I hate to imagine dealing with them as a renter. Yikes. I’ve attached my evidence to show that I tried multiple times trying to schedule, only to get a reschedule minutes before my showtime when I was already in front of the house with my family waiting. I finally got through their phone system to speak with an actual human who politely but repeatedly told me to use that same broken method of scheduling. I gave up as I do not want to deal with that for a solid year renting.

Positive experience: IT COSTS $10 TO PAY YOUR RENT! So an extra $120 a year just to pay them the rent you owe them. Been here about 6 months. The floors weren’t completed when they let me move in, all the floorboard trim was missing from the kitchen an bathroom and you can see the caulking glue on the baseboards. None of the floorboards pieces under the doors are installed correctly. The laundry room wasn’t finished being Re floored, the new flooring was sitting to the side. Garbage disposal broken so dishwasher just backs up. Lots of water damage bubbles throughout the walls and no exhaust fan in bathrooms so mold will build up quick and they just did the landlord special with white paint. Front door has definitely been kicked in or something, it’s off center and squeaks along the doorframe so my neighbors have said they hear every-time I come and go. Also the concrete under the carpet is coming up like when two tectonic plates collide, so there’s random places under the carpet that are concrete triangles sticking up. . They’ve been jackhammering some of the apartments around me and re doing it. So they were aware of this problem but still let me in before fixing it. I told them some of these things maybe 3 weeks before I moved in and did a maintenance request and nothing happened. My security deposit was $3,500 to move into a one bedroom but in this economy beggars can’t be choosers. Electric bills for a one bedroom apartment are nuts but that’s a Nevada thing.PLUS sides, it was easy to get a viewing and navigate their properties. Easy communication to get moved in, plenty of nice neighbors. The employees I encountered were all kind. Just frustrated at the state of the place for the cost.

Negative experience: Went to schedule a viewing for property. The most difficult website ever to use. Then it rescheduled me twice. Unscheduled me and then rescheduled me for a different time and day. Went to go use the lock box couldn't get the code to work. Very unorganized. Customer service is crap. And yet I still was unable to look at the property.

Negative experience: I am a veteran and i have to day this is the Worst people to rent from, if there is any maintenance issues they will keep you waiting for months to resolve the issue, they will also lock you out of your property if you go on a camping trip for a weekend. Absolutely do not go through these people..and I see they wrote that the dogs were left in the house to try and make us look like bad people but I have photos of the dogs on that camping trip with us so good try

This is probably not the best place for you to be posting. We have been trying to track you down to collect the $10,000+ in damage you caused to the rental property. You left your dog inside the property for over a week with no food, running water or way to get outside. The dog was able to escape through the shattered sliding window fortunately. This is no way to treat an animal, so you can go on a camping trip.

Negative experience: I've never had problems with this company until today. I went to pay my rent and I got a notification that my payment did not process because I needed to update my address on my debit card. So, I updated the address and proceeded to try to upload my payment again. That time, I got a confirmation of payment on the screen as well as an email. I then looked at my bank and realized that I had been charged twice. When I called the office the first time, I talked to Anna who was very kind and seemed genuinely concerned for me. She told me she would have the accountant call me back. I then called the bank and was told that they hadn't received the payment on their side and I needed to contact the management company to cancel the second charge. I called an hour later because I hadn't received a call back and it's a Friday and I'm out an extra almost $700 (which I need to pay for other things). This time I talked to what sounded like a younger gentlemen, who was also very kind and he informed me that the accountant was out today. I asked him if there was anyone who could help me today because this is a lot of money for me. He told me he would get in contact with the owner and the accountant. I waited another hour with no response before calling again. I spoke with Toni this time who was extremely kind and found me a property manager to talk to. I ended up talking to Ryan (I think). This guy was extremely rude to me to the point of tears. I'm not an emotional person however I'm incredibly stressed because this is a lot of money and I have other bills to pay. Ryan (I think) said multiple times that this is my fault and I need to contact the bank even though I told him I had already contacted the bank and the bank said they couldn't do anything because it hadn't "processed" yet and I need to get in contact with the rental company. This money is physically out of my bank during this entire time and I'm getting blamed. I understand that there are things that physically can't be done by either side but the way I was spoken to was absolutely not okay.

Negative experience: PLEASE DON'T LIVE ANYWHERE THAT THIS COMPANY MANAGES!!!! I wouldn't wish what I had to go through on my worst enemy. I am a college student who lived in an apartment on Gypsum rd. The apartment had INFESTATIONS of MICE, BED BUGS, AND ANTS!!! I didn't even know what a bed bug was until I moved here. Multiple work orders were placed, they got to a point where they didnt believe me. I had to physically take pictures of my bites and even bring in an ACTUAL bug into their office in order for them to take me seriously!! I was so paranoid, to sleep, to do anything in that house. The neighbors had the same problem!! These people are terrible. They know that these apartments had mold and everything else but would paint over it. Then, they would blame the tenants for the INFESTATIONS! I was so scared to live anywhere else because I was so traumatized by living here. They need to remodel this property as well as stop renting it out because of how gross this place is. I had to call the health department in order for them to do their job and try to fix my issue. I went through HELL and I pray this review saves someone. If I could post pictures on here, I would!!! Please read reviews on YELP of this place as well!!! Trust people who have gone through this.

Negative experience: The purpose of hiring RPMC was for them to handle the headaches of managing my only house, but they ended up being the biggest headache of all! I was a client and felt the current owner was a narcissistic bully, rude, careless, and did not take accountability at all. To name a few situations – received multiple surprisingly high invoices from minor repairs & clean-up after the tenant left of which any bills over $300 should have been approved first, his handyman vendor mistakenly disposed of my belongings because one of his employees forgot to communicate with them about it, duplicate charge, I kindly asked for explanation & receipts for transparency but his overall responses were I would be charged hourly if more time was spent, even though providing receipts is included in our contract. Rather than apologizing for their mistake, he stated I should let it go & I was billed for the disposal. Most upsetting was receiving a lawsuit from the previous tenant & continuous condescending responses from the owner. Long story, but I believe this suit was a result of a lack of/poor management since I was already frustrated with the owner. He will probably deny this and will somehow find a way to turn it around against and belittle me – again, no accountability. This referral ended up being a nightmare with stress and sleepless nights. I do NOT recommend anyone to go through the pain I’ve endured. Run away!

Positive experience: The owner of real property management Corazon and one of the administrative assistants , usually get things done. Other folks that work there not so much. I moved in 4 months ago have had a leak under my kitchen sink that has yet to be repaired. I pay my rent on time they do not do their job on time. The rental that I am in presently is so much better than the Last location I definitely am thankful to have found real property management corazon.

Fantastic experience: It's a really cute place. We love the neighborhood and the quietness.
Negative experience: RPM took over the lease for our apartment and were difficult to work with from the first day. There was almost no transparency, communication, or contact with us. Any time I needed issues resolved it took 3-5 separate times of me calling in before I could talk to someone (I don’t recall once receiving a call back!). They kept charging us for things in our previous lease even though they weren’t providing the service. When we moved out we spent hours cleaning and left the place spotless, but we’re still charged a $250 “cleaning fee” that they apparently just charge everyone no matter what. If you’re a tenant, be prepared to check your lease thoroughly, solve your own problems, and lose at least a chunk of your deposit. If you’re a landlord, be prepared to have frustrated tenants.

Regarding the cleaning fee, we aim for a certain level of cleanliness at move-out. While efforts were made on your part to clean, it fell short of the standard we aim for. We will upload photos to your tenant portal to refresh your memory. These photos will include the items you left behind that we had to dispose of for you.

Negative experience: Would give negative stars if I could. From the second we moved in things were broken in the house. We had to put in multiple work orders for the same issue before they even attempted to fix the problem. They allowed us to live in Heath hazards (broken sewage pipe, mold in the bathroom) it took months to fix the pipe and they never addressed the mold. Ignored every form of contact (email, call, text). After informing them that we were going through the legal system they tried to give a 7 day notice after multiple communications to receive the rent from washoe country court house. They then retaliated by posting a 24 hour notice on our door, all done illegally as we were never officially served any form of paperwork asking us to leave. This company breaks laws any place they can and only care about receiving rent. Do not ever rent from them.

I HAVE APPLIED AT OTHER RENTAL AGENCIES OUT OF STATE AND PAID MY APPLICATION FEES AND THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT WONT EVEN VERIFY THAT I AM RENTING FROM THEM. BECAUSE OF THIS I AM STUCK RENTING THIS PROPERTY. MY JOB IS IN THE BAY AREA AND I HAVE BEEN COMMUTING THE LAST 4-4 YEARS FROM HERE TO THE BAY AREA. I AM TIRED OF THE COMMUTE AND I RECENTLY HAD A BABY AND DONT WANT MY CHILD TO BE THREE HOURS AWAY WHILE I AM WORKING NOT TO MENTION DAYCARE FEES WILL KILL MY BANK ACCOUNT. Negative experience: So the Owner of the apartment we rent came by with an inspection team a while back and the OWNER said the title throughout the apartment and the bathroom bath tub is In horrible condition and needs to be fixed. NOTHING DONE! And this management company says the work is done. Horrible management company!!!!! 5/24/2023 Now the water heater is making horrible noises at 1:50 am for eight straight days and nothing done. Complaint filed with BBB today!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: We tried to make an application in April but we had a few questions which we wanted answered prior to paying the application fee. After making a number of phone calls with no response I wanted to move on. My husband did not and was finally able to get a call back so we did make an application paying a fee which we were assured we would get back with the exception of $5.00 if we did not get the rental we were interested in. I received a call from an unlisted phone number on 5/1 which I did not answer, it turned out to be Teresa who left me a message indicating they were ready to move forward but we needed to talk about moving up our move in date (I have the recording). I called back and explained why I didn’t answer, I was assured she would call back. No call that day or the next when my husband called. My husband finally spoke to Teresa today 5/3 being told they went with another applicant. Teresa then sent my husband a text indicating that we would not be getting our application fee back. I intent to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I will check with a few other agencies as well. I was told by another management agency that it is unethical to take multiple fees and not to return fees when rentals are lost. If you are looking to rent or hire a management company I would stay away from this company!

Negative experience: Absolute worst property management group I’ve dealt with. Took our deposit and 1st months rent of $4901.00 and forgot about us. I’m sure they’ll remember us again when rent is due (: When we got to house with Uhaul and opened the door for the first time we were hit in the face with hot air. I look at the thermostat and it’s on “cool” set to 67 degrees. Instantly I know something’s up, I trouble shoot (check if condenser’s running when thermostat is calling, checked wiring, etc.) I can’t figure it out so I put a work order in. That was 6 days ago of nonstop heat blowing during this time of year. Long story short the receptionists all told us there nothing they can do for us as “Teresa was in a meeting” (for 6 days apparently). We have called for other issues and straight up been hung up on. Mind you in the midst of all this we birthed a baby…during this 6 day span…Do not waste your time sanity or money on this property management group, try Kroger Investments (;

Leaving a 1 star review is one thing, but accosting our staff with profanity and belligerent behavior is inappropriate, please refrain from this bullying behavior with our staff for the duration of your lease. You submitted an A/C repair request on 9/16/22, it was scheduled to be repaired today 9/20/2022, but you postponed it until tomorrow, 9/21/2022 by our count that is still less than the 6 days you stated and you conveniently left out that the delay was because of you. You also left out that the home you have has 2 central air conditioners and the 2nd floor AC is working fine and should suffice. Further, we took a look at the weather today 9/20/2022 here in Reno, NV, it is currently 57 degrees outside, the high today is 59 degrees and the low is 46 degrees. Our team is taking priority in repairing heaters right now over air conditioners as it is cold outside and you shouldn’t be running the A/C. We don’t normally share personal information in a public forum, but since you would like to have this conversation publicly, you misspelled your employer’s name, Kromer Investments, a competing housing provider. Lastly, for clarity, you did not pay us $4,901.00, you paid $2,506.40 for rent and you have a security deposit in a trust account of $2,395. We hope that the remainder of your lease goes a little more smoothly.

Communication with staff can be ruthless, they have no problem being condescending even when discussing the most basic of items. Positive experience: Not the worst but definitely not the best ! So far everyone I’ve contacted at this company has been very helpful and kind. I’ve been here for only one month but the only issue I have is the unit I’m in (glenda way) It was supposed to be newly renovated which it was, but poorly done. Before I moved in I noticed a huge ant infestation and was told they would take care of it before my move in. They didn’t. Then they told me it was a tenant responsibility which I would take if I was the one that caused it. It’s not only me though, a few neighbors I’ve spoken to have a huge ant/termite problem. And they’ve all gotten the same response. To make things worse this “newly renovated” unit has gaps everywhere, the baseboards are half an inch to 2 inches away from the floor. There’s random pieces of flooring missing they thought they could cover by putting a cabinet on top of it. The doors and the door frames are practically falling off that I can stick my finger between it and the wall. Holes everywhere and you can tell they tried to fill most of them in and just didn’t paint over it. There’s also spots where there are holes and they tried to excessively paint over it Because of these things it makes the ant problem 100 times worse, they can go in and out freely and I’m not able to cover the holes and gaps as I’m renting. I’ve contacted fumigation companies but it would be 1k-2K at the lowest and I’d still have to pay for a hotel til it’s over. I’ve used every natural at home DIY fumigation, sprays, ant traps; but it doesn’t do much at all. I’m lucky if I only wake up to a few dozen ants in my bathroom. I will note that the parking is very very tight at this location. Like you only get half a foot to open your door and more than likely your passenger side will not be able to open. I have to let my friends out before I park. Live and learn, I’m definitely a bit responsible for not checking every corner of this unit ! Just wish I wasn’t told they’d take care of an issue that is apparently my responsibility now.

Negative experience: i will say that the process of getting a place was much easier, than the process of trying to get the keys to my place. I have been told to give deposit and rent prior to move in, which i had no problem getting. what they didn’t tell me was that they moved offices. next was planning a day to schedule key delivery. i was told by one person it would be friday due to the office being closed. next it was saturday the following day. when i mentioned i had proof of the messages and showed them the proof, it was like finger blaming each other and didn’t want to take responsibility for the miscommunication. they planned to have someone meet me at the place to hand me the key, which didn’t end up happening. they told me i would have a lockbox with the key inside. come saturday morning, i arrive to the property to the lock box NOT here and now i’m stuck outside on the first day of my lease without my keys. This is the part of the experience that i am extremely frustrated about and i simply can’t fathom the idea of having a pleasant experience with them going further. Had there been proper communication, i think this would’ve been resolved. I’m usually not one to write reviews and try to prance a negative dance to a business, but i am genuinely frustrated and upset and i just want to share my initial experience with everyone to show how they do business with new tenants.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a tenant for over 4 years. I recently had an issue with my refrigerator, it was old and not cooling properly. I put in a maintenance request and had a new fridge that works great by the next day.

Negative experience: I rented a house from this company it was a horrible time working with this company. We put in many request to get thing fixed around the house never got anything fixed. When we put in are 30 days notice they tried to put a different date than the date we put. The ladies in the office were always rude when I would call them or go to the office. I would never rent from them again. If I could I would do a zero star. Just be careful if you do use them. Still would rate this company a zero. It is sad that the person said they can not find my info. That how it was anytime you put a request in to get anything fixed. We go the carpet clean before we moved per lease. I dropped the paperwork off to the office. End to end I got a carpet cleaning fee on the final invoice.

Negative experience: Real property has been good to me in the past. But property owner's are getting rich off the poor, and it's not ok. Realty company's should do more to protect tenants from the rent gouging taking place here in Reno!

Which just got raised by about 30%.☹️ I understand, but no one from your company has been inside this place it's a death trap the wiring the there's you know how much money you're going to have to pour into this place if we move it's it's unbelievable and I just don't understand how you can raise somebody's rent without even seeing where they live I mean this place is it's a hundred years old and it looks it.
Anna, unfortunately we are in a market where rents are climbing. The good side of having your rent below market is that the rent was low for all that time, but the bad side is that the increase to market rents can look much larger.
Fantastic experience: I must say that I was shocked after reading some of the comments below because my experience with this company was quite different. Corazon is a STELLAR property management company. Tony and his team were always attentive if I had any concerns or issues with my rental unit. Tony even perosnally delivered air filters for the central heating and air system. Their response time was amazing and they would always follow up to ensure that I was satisfied with any services or repairs that had been provided. If you are looking for a rental company who are attentive and take pride in providing excellent customer service to each of their tenants then you've hit the JACKPOT!!!!

Negative experience: This property management company is terrible. They tried to charge me for a month of rent 2 months after I had already moved out, and before that I was forced to relocate because 3 out of the 26 apartments in the complex (mine included) had serious mold and water damage. Their inspector when they showed up tried to tell me that mold doesn't grow on concrete and tried to accuse me of planting the mold and causing the water damage myself. Rather than trying to repair it, they just moved me to a new apartment and tried to charge me $150 more per month than what it was valued on the online listing. These people will do everything they can to rip you off, so if you are renting from them or plan on renting from them, keep a close eye on your payments and keep every receipt. EDIT: The owner (or whoever seemed to be in charge that I had some issues getting a hold of at first) named Tony was really helpful and seemed to do everything he could to help the situation, other folks that worked there not so much. It eventually got so bad that the owner gave me his personal number and told me to call him directly if anything went wrong and things were much better after that, but if I have to call the landlord's personal phone because the people working for Real Property Management are so poor at their job, then that means something needs to change around there.

We have never managed a building with 26 units, and we don't have your name or the situation you have referenced in our records.
