Fantastic experience: Best Realtor Ever . Initially we weren't sure what kind of property we were interested in buying. Rather than show us random places, Ninh took the time to talk with us about our goals, desires and budget, as well as getting a feel for which neighborhoods we would be most comfortable in. Only then did he come up with a list of likely prospects. When he was showing, he was able to stay flexible as other properties became available, rearranging his (and our) schedule to accommodate having us see the widest spectrum of what he thought we would like. He assisted us in coming up with an acceptable offer and negotiation stance and, ultimately, I think it was a win-win for us and the seller. But it was after our offer was accepted that he really shined. Every step of the way -- from inspection, to title, to insurance, to utilities, to closing -- he kept us completely informed of what to expect and how to respond. Finally the closing was by far the easiest I have ever been involved in. I can't say enough good things about Ninh Tran and his agency. The best!

Fantastic experience: Joey On The Spot! We were very pleased with our decision to work with Joey Walker. The open house took place the very weekend after the house was listed for sale. We had two offers almost right away, which resulted in selling over asking! Unheard of in this market, and part of that may have been luck, but you need to give luck a chance, and Joey created those conditions. Additionally, he was an excellent resource in terms of being very knowledgeable about the local market trends and challenges, advising us how to get the house ready for sale, and when it was time to estimate fixing what the inspector found, he was able to find a contractor who could do the estimate right away. He also recommended someone to haul away the trash. Additionally, he was very helpful in the negotiation, as he advised us regarding the acceptance of the offer, and to offer a credit for less than the contractor's estimate. Finally, he was always available when needed and responded quickly to texts. Overall, he was Joey On The Spot! Will definitely work with him again.

Fantastic experience: For me, this wasn’t just another real estate transaction, it was a house full of history and memories, and selling it from 1,500 miles away while I was in Boston was genuinely hard. Jes and Joe got that from the start, and it showed in how they handled everything. The logistics of doing all of this remotely were no small thing. I wasn’t there to supervise, approve work in person, or catch problems as they came up. Jes and Joe handled all of it, and I mean all of it. As buyers unfamiliar with the New Orleans area, she helped us figure out where to look, and then actually showed us a house that she felt was a really good match - but didn’t look like it from the agents photos. She was correct, and we got a house we LOVED in an area that was a perfect fit for us. All of this was done virtually, as we were overseas! As sellers, we found Lane and her team were always excellent communicators. She was patient as we took almost a year of back and forth on our timeline to sell. We never felt that she was irritated by our changing situation (though we were!) Aaron is one of my closest friends (for over a decade), and I was initially a little hesitant about using a close friend as our agent because frankly…I know I can be very demanding and impatient (who isn’t, when it comes to buying a house!). However, that hesitation was gone once we formally began working together after a few years of just casually sharing listings we liked to each other. Aaron approached everything with complete professionalism while still being incredibly patient and easy to work with. Aaron worked with us for nearly a year as we searched for the right house, always flexible with our schedules and thoughtful about what we were looking for. This was not the first home purchase for either of us, and his knowledge really stood out in terms of negotiation strategy and the technical side of the purchase process, but also his deep understanding of the New Orleans market. His familiarity with the nuances of each neighborhood was extremely helpful in evaluating properties and ultimately choosing the right place for us. He also helped create a listing for my partner’s home to rent out, and we had tenants lined up within an hour of the listing hitting the MLS. Negative experience: My experience living at this property has been unacceptable and extremely stressful. Since November, my air conditioning stopped working and was never properly fixed, and during the cold months I was left without heat for an extended period. No tenant should be forced to live in those conditions. Things became even worse when the home was shot through, creating a serious safety issue. Despite how dangerous and traumatic this was, the landlord and management showed little concern for my safety or urgency in addressing the situation. After months of unresolved maintenance issues, I was forced to hire a lawyer just to have my concerns taken seriously. Rather than taking responsibility for failing to maintain the property or honoring a reasonable rent reduction for my final two months due to unlivable conditions, management served me with a 5-day notice to vacate instead. It felt like retaliation for asking them to uphold their responsibilities under the lease. Throughout my tenancy, communication was poor, repairs were delayed or ignored, and accountability was avoided. I did not feel safe, respected, or treated fairly as a tenant. I strongly encourage anyone considering renting here to carefully think twice before signing a lease.

Fantastic experience: We’ve bought two New Orleans properties with Andrew Evans, without seeing either in person. Both experiences were exceptional. He communicates clearly with regular updates and FaceTime calls, is a smart negotiator, and knows the ins and outs of neighborhoods like the French Quarter, Bywater, and Marigny. Negative experience: After working with Peter Menge Jr I am walking away from this interaction with a bad taste in my mouth. I was shown very few properties that fit my interests, less that I actually qualify for with my dog, and further less who realistically wanted to rent to a college student. These are things he is supposed to determine BEFORE I apply, not figure out as an afterthought when I go through the hassle of determining these things. At every chance he could have helped me lock in a fitting rental, or at least be my advocate in this process, he opted to wait things out or drag out a process that should’ve been over in a few days. Much of what he said to me was condescending and I truly felt like he was not invested in his work. I was steered away from properties I liked without seeing them (with little explanation), and intentionally directed towards properties that were on the higher end or totally out of my price range. He also only showed me properties from a limited pool of realtors despite there being literally hundred of places that met my needs. And to top it all off, I was ghosted by Peter Menge Jr for days after being given the run around for over a week about an application that he seemed poorly confident in from early on. Why have me wait on something that is unlikely to develop? The experience was a shame because as a recent transplant this is my first impression of this new city; it’s a poor one. Do not work with this agency.

Fantastic experience: I have many reasons to recommend Jeri Wheeler as the best real estate agent in New Orleans, but I'll stick with only a few. This is the second home she has sold for me over the years and its one of the worst markets ever. She is extremely intelligent, personable, funny, and is an expert realtor with 20+ years in the New Orleans market. I felt like I was in great hands because she is honest and truly cared about me selling my home for what I could get out of it in a difficult sellers market. Jeri goes far above and beyond what she needs to for a business transaction because she knows how much you have invested in your home financially and emotionally. I can't tell you how many times she walked me "off the ledge" and helped me see things rationally. She did this with the upmost patience, empathy, and compassion. I can go on and on, but I want you to know that you will be very lucky to have Jeri Wheeler, the best realtor in New Orleans imo, working to promote and sell your house for you.

Timing is everything when it comes to buying a house, so it was nice having two agents on the same team. It was that listing that came on the market that we saw second and it was amazing, everything we wanted and more. Her ability to connect with clients is exceptional. Negative experience: Chandler Accardo, a Realator, works here refused to give me info on a duplex I was interested in. He told me “you or I wouldn’t want to live there, I have a more expensive place you’d be interested in”. Trying to trap me into something else. How can you tell me what I would want to buy or live in? He never followed up after saying he would check on the questions I had.

To say he exceeded my expectations would be an understatement! I really can’t say enough about how professional he was throughout the entire process.
