We had very specific requirements as to what we were looking for in a house, as well as the location/neighborhood. Our daughter, who moved to Ann Arbor for an academic job this year and was a first-time home buyer, was extremely busy, so we relied on Trevor to do the groundwork and pre-screening so our daughter only needed to look at homes that checked most of the boxes and met most of her desired criteria. Trevor came through admirably in assisting our daughter to purchase a wonderful and cute home in Ann Arbor. Fantastic experience: Jefrey Post quickly figured out my and my family's needs and wishes for our new home in Ann Arbor, even though we were initially working with him while living in another part of the country. Rather than rushing us into a home that worked, he instead put is into a rental that worked while continuing to work with us to find the permanent home that was perfect. So I have both experiences: as a buyer from out of state and a buyer in town, and Jeffrey managed both with professionalism, humanity and savvy. I can't imagine anyone knowing the area and market better than he does, and his expertise and guidance were invaluable. Soup-to-nuts, Jeffrey and his team took care of all of my and my family's needs and helped me navigate the entire process even after closing and even still, as a contractor is due to shore up a wall that he noticed needed work. Fantastic experience: Todd is a great real estate agent and I recommend him without any reservations. He was very helpful and patient throughout our home search that took us about a year or so. At every stage of the process, he was very resourceful (providing reference links for information, guiding us in the right direction to figure out certain things), knowledgeable (anything related to home maintenance, renovations, buying process, mortgage, escrows etc.) and never rushed us into anything. At every point, he would gives us a few recommendations (be it mortgage lenders, home inspection, title agencies, etc.) to help us get started but never once insisted that we choose any of his suggestions. Fantastic experience: We visited Berkshire/Snyder about a year ago regarding the value of my sister's home. They were so helpful when there was "nothing in it for them" that we thought we should use them when it came time to sell. We were fortunate to be referred to David Wallner. He was very experienced in not only selling the house but also in how best to fix the property up, what colors to use, who to use for the various improvements and the time frame to follow to have the house ready on time. We ended up completing the projects on a Thursday afternoon. We were leaving as David arrived to meet the photographer for the photo shoot. They worked into the early evening and completed the photos and David was able to list the house the next day,Friday. He also revised the selling price to reflect the good job we did fixing the place up (following his advice). He also scheduled an Open House for Saturday, the next day! We received our first offer on Saturday afternoon. Following David's advise we waited for 24 hours, and were rewarded with a better offer (above asking price) on Sunday evening. With David's guidance and advice we accepted the second offer. We had several price negotiations, which David assisted with, and a closing that could not have gone smoother. All and all, the entire process was very professional, the advice and direction provided by David was sound and the outcome was better than expected. She took the time at each viewing to explain specifics and potential costs we might face. She even got down on her hands and knees to teach me how to determine carpet quality!
