MV Realty is a progressive real estate brokerage created by seasoned, tech-savvy professionals. We are changing the industry through our innovative Homeowner Benefit Program where we pay you today to serve as your real estate agent in the future. Helping homeowners since 2014, we now operate in over 30 states.

Our comment from Agencias Inmobiliarias about MV Realty - MV:

MV Realty is a real estate company that has received mixed feedback from its clients. While some customers have appreciated the speed and convenience of their service, others have raised significant concerns about predatory practices and lack of transparency.

  • Pros: Several clients have noted the efficiency of the agents, who are described as friendly and responsive. Some reports highlight that specific agents, like Imelda Interino and Kenya Wiley, provided excellent service and made the selling process easy and straightforward.
  • Cons: A troubling number of reviews point to deceptive practices, including clients being locked into long-term contracts (up to 40 years) and facing unexpected liens on their properties. Numerous complaints detail how the company targets vulnerable homeowners, particularly the elderly, and misrepresents contract terms, leading to financial distress for many.

Overall, while there are positive testimonials about individual agents at MV Realty, prospective clients are strongly encouraged to read contracts carefully and consider seeking legal advice before engaging with this company.

Negative experience: I’m a Seattle realtor and, in my opinion, MV Realty’s approach is soul-less: they dangle inflated, unrealistic property values to maximize what they collect, often from people in vulnerable situations. The result? Families feel misled and stuck with terms that don’t serve them. My professional advice: have a lawyer review any agreement, verify what (if anything) is recorded against your title, and make sure you understand every fee and obligation before you sign. If that's not an option call a title company to explain what recording something like this against your home means. Want a candid, first-hand perspective? Call me directly, I’m happy to talk. There are resources out there that can help, this company is not it. They are being sued in multiple states.

Negative experience: i seriously do not know how this company is still in business. They do not act in the best interest of any homeowner as a real estate brokerage should. As an investor i have come across multiple homes this year that had an MOC filed on their home and MV realty is unresponsive and uncooperative. Truly feel bad for homeowners who get persuaded into using them. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

Negative experience: STAY AWAY. DO NOT CONSIDER. would give 0 if i could. absolutely horrible people running this company. preying on people and lying. they will make a fake appraisal number for your home that’s 100k+ over the amount so you have to pay them out more to get rid of their “lien”. This is not worth the amount of chump change that they give you. if you plan on passing your house along to your children, this will be passed along to your kids.

Negative experience: Deceptive practice MV Reality is taking advantage of people. I’m out of $40k Lawsuits are pending against MV Reality. CROOKS I’m disable on a fix income. Memorandum doesn’t mean lien. I guarantee no one in their right mind will agree to a contract that says $800.00 payment would act as a lien on their property and deed. I spoke to rep as soon as I discovered the lien. She said Oh that’s not right. I will get it removed immediately. Never could get back in contact with her. CROOKS Low ball offers, extremely conniving

Negative experience: SELLER BEWARE of MV Realty to sell your home. They give you money for a 30-year contract that forces you to sell your house through them only and if you do leave, they will sue you. Natalia Vico and Leonel Sanchez are incompetent and unskilled, also not professional, who NOT ONCE came to see the house, and neither ever showed the house to anyone. They don't follow up and don't communicate when there's a showing. We went WEEKS without a single showing. They were Never Present. I had to show my house and attempt to sell the house myself, meanwhile they send you unserious and confused buyers who dont know what they want. I'm not a realtor, WHY AM I DOING YOUR JOB? They make money off of the sale, so I am unsure of why they won't push to sell the dang house and send serious buyers.I got sued for $18,000 after we fired them and sold my house with ReMax. DISGUSTING! You've been warned.

Negative experience: Update 7/16/2024 the attorney general called and they want me to testify in Tampa. In order to get rid of their lien I had to pay $6500 in total. I had to give in because nobody could tell me how long it will take for a judge to wipe out all these liens. Update 1.2.2023 Dustin Nelson ( if that is his real name) sent me a court order, when I sent it to my lawyer he said that would not help us since its not a release from the lien they have against the house. Update 12.22.23 I tried to work something out with this corporation being investigated for unfair business practices by the attorney general. I have been talking with a Dustin Nelson on his VM he calls himself Doctor. They sent me wire instruction but it does not give me any assurances they will give me a release. They want me to send them $7700. I will now have to wipe them out in bankruptcy court. What a bunch of low life people. When I told them one of the reason why the owner of the house committed suicide was because of their lien it was like water off a ducks back. Update to my review. My family member just received a notice for their bankruptcy. This company preys on the elderly. The Florida attorney general is going after them and in the notice they operated out of at least 10 different states. I wonder how many millions they have extracted from the poor and the elderly. They filed a lien against a property of a family member. The agreement is for 40 years! But it does not say what they received in return for this agreement. In addition they want us to request a payoff. For what exactly not sure, however my lawyers are saying there has been complaints to the attorney general for these types of practices.

Negative experience: Company places predatory license on homes that block any refinance options without getting paid thousands which they are only due if helping sell. Multiple states have lawsuits against them from State Attorney Generals including Florida and they are filing bankruptcy to avoid lawsuits. STAY AWAY!!!

R G Published on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: Google "MV lawsuit" to learn about their scamming tactics, trapping people into endless contracts, which is illegal in Florida. Exiting requires paying outrageous fees in the thousands. The Attorney General is investigating for a reason. They filed for chapter 11 to avoid lawsuits, making it nearly impossible to end agreements without payment. Expect legal hurdles and headaches to remove the ILLEGAL lien they place on your property. Despite signing in good faith, they fail to respond or fulfill their broker duties. Their focus is solely on collecting fees and stealing your equity. Stay away from this company.

Negative experience: They are a horrible company who target elderly. They had my grandmother sign a 40 year contract for $485.00... she had dementia and is now on hospice because she can no longer walk. A few months after it was signed without me being aware, I stepped in and took her over care. Now to sell her house to get her 24 hr care I have to pay over 4000 to this company. Their "contract" acts as a lein on your loved ones home. Absolutely disgusting company and very little ethics. BEWARE!!!! Please look up the lawsuits against them! My grandmother was far from the only one!

Negative experience: Edit 10/23/23: I was in a real pinch for extra funds and when this opportunity fell into my lap, I jumped. I wasnt planning to sell my house and this was a great way to get some cash and if I needed to sell my house, Id have someone already. But this was a big scam. As you can read below, I was "told" that I "knew" it was for 40 years. I did not. I was never told about a lien at all. I was just told theyd be the one to sell it if I decided. I also wrote this review "with 5 stars" because I was coerced into extra payment "if I were to write a good review". This is after I messaged and called for several days trying to get ahold of someone to further explain what was going on. This person, who I forget who it was, called me back and made it seem like I did know what I said, word for word, and because I have horrible memory issues I took it as that, just my memory. He then proceeded to say, "Well now that we are at an understanding, give us a good review for even more money!" I should not have. This is a complete scam. Dont believe everything you read/see on the internet, especially if it sounds too good to be true. I signed a contract with MV reality in 2021. After reading all the news articles about how bad they were and how they didn't tell the truth, I was scared. I noticed a "lien" on my house and that this contract signed me up for 40 years! After speaking to William, I realized it wasn't a lien and that I signed the contract knowing it was 40 years. I have bad memory so I could have easily forgotten. He took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel comfortable about this decision. After all, if you go to sell your house, you're gonna need a realtor, might as well get some cash and sign a small contract to let MV sell your house. You still pick the price and who you sell to. Plus their commission is a small percent which is reasonable in the reality world. Although I probably wouldn't have done it for the 40 year contract and the small amount of cash I was given, I can't go back now, but I'm at peace with the choice. Thanks to William who took the time to explain and answer all my questions. They're just trying to assure that they'll have business in later years. I think its a smart business move.

Negative experience: My grandmother suffered from addiction after the passing of her spouse. She was Ill and not in her right mind 2 years before her passing. She lost herself. This company reached out to her and scammed her through a call promising money for a ridiculous agreement that I know for fact she would’ve never agreed to if she was in her right state of mind. Now we are trying to sell the property since we do not reside in the area and are stuck because of a scam that should’ve never been legal. We will be going to court with hospital records of proof of her disease and mind frame and submitting all documents to the state attorney office. This is sick and the company should be ashamed of its predatory actions. Amanda Zachman who still resides in Delray Beach selling homes needs her license revoked and the brokerage needs to be shut down.

Andrea Coleman Published on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: Stay away from this company!! They will try to trick you into a 40-year contract to sell your home. They try to lure you with quick free cash, but it is a scam. If you sell your home within 40 years and don't use their company, they will sue you for up the 3% of the value of your home (thousands of dollars!!). They are illegally cold-calling potential scam victims even though they have been ordered not to. Horrible company!!

Negative experience: Make sure you spoke with a lawyer in reference to this company. Your signing a 40 yr contract and they have scammed many people. Even death does not protect the heirs. Attorney Generals in Florida and Illinois are investigating many complaints. This company will put a lien on the property.

Pat Wilver Published on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: Worst of the worst scammers. They give sellers a trivial amount of cash in order to get a 40 YEAR listing agreement. I recently brokered a deal where a seller was TWO DAYS from foreclosure and had to give all of the money she would have made to MV Realty because of this scam. No way to get her out of it because it turns out this practice is totally legal. I don’t know how these people sleep at night knowing they’re preying on the most desperate members of our communities.

Jenifer R Daniels Published on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: a scam - just google "MV Realty" scam for all the details (or find the AARP Perfect Scam podcast episodes for stories from homeowners). they effectively add a lien to your home using a contractual loophole that places you in a 40 year contract -- longer than the majority of mortgages. they target homeowners in urban areas with the promise of money to upgrade your home with the intent of taking your equity out. they have been sued by multiple state attorneys generals for the usury in their contracts (high interest rates).

Josephine Published on Google 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: They're not a scam. The people claiming that it's a scam didn't understand their contract, which is a tragedy. MVR is not a fully traditional real estate company, so don't expect every contract to be your conventional real estate contract. Their Homeowner Benefit Agreement contract is something new to the industry, but still legitimate. Just make sure your agent explains *everything* to you, and you read and fully understand the contract yourself. Everything is disclosed in the contract and done fair and square. It's a good idea to ask questions, take time to think about it, and get a second opinion before you sign. The HBA is really great for some people, but definitely not for everyone.

Negative experience: No one answers huge lack of communication. It’s a complete swindling act. I “signed” an agreement to let them sell my house in 2020 if I decided to do that. I’ve been calling since October 2020, all of 2021 and 2022 and in January of this year to cancel this contract. I’ve even emailed a few times and still no one answered. Now that I found a company that has professionalism, actively responds and puts in effort to help MV Realty wants me to pay them for breach of contract. And they are absolutely delusional. There are lawsuits up against them it’s a fraud and swindling act for fast cash. This company is a complete joke and scam. I WILL NOT BE GIVING THEM A DIME! Absolutely HORRIBLE! The one employee that I did speak to told me not to sell to them and that she would call me back and never did. She even called me from her personal phone and told me not to move forward. All of the five star reviews are from previous or current employees. It’s all fraud.

Negative experience: Buyer beware! Their Homeowner Benefit Agreement will only benefit MV Realty. They convinced my elderly mother to sign a 40 year broker agreement stating a minimum brokerage fee sales price. In addition, they now have a lien on her home. Yes, they pay a small sum to convince you to sign. It’s legal but super shady, my attorney revied the contract and stated it’s very well drafted for MV not the homeowner! Don’t fall for their sales pitch..

Jennifer Garcia Published on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: Do not sign a contract with this realty. Especially their homeowners program. They are a scam. They offer you money for your home in exchange for your business but they make you sign a contract that the realtor doesn’t inform you that you are locked in for 40 years. If you do sell your house without them they can put a lien on your home. The state attorney is already looking into them. Their realtors do not care about you and they treat you like you’re garbage. To get out of this morally wrong contract you have to pay them a percentage of what your home costs. They should be in jail for their actions.

Negative experience: MV reality is a SCAM. They don’t tell you that you will put a lien on your home and you will need to pay them tens of thousands of dollars in commissions even if you sell your house 40 years later through a different realitor. They put no effort into actually selling your house. They simply want to collect the commissions when you inevitably sell it through a capable realitor. They also target elders with this scam and they need to be shut down and hit with a class action. STAY AWAY

Negative experience: I am so very disappointed. MV laid pretty much everyone off with ZERO notice. First we noticed that our trainer and support staff were let go and the following Monday we were all let go because of lack of leads by email. There are now HUNDREDS of employees scrambling to find income and feed their families. Who knows if our final checks will be correct or if we will even see them. This is heartbreaking to so so many. That is some kind of evil.

David Beaumont Published on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: Free money can be the most costly. I received a call and was offered 700 for free. I have to list the home with them if I want to sell in the next 40 years. I can list in my town Lake Havasu City for 1%. That would save me 7000. That is so much more than the 700 they are giving me. Picking the right real estate agent can mean quicker sales and more money. If you sign up you do not know who your agent will be. If I want to list with a local real estate agent according to their contract I have to pay them 3% of the current house value. No thanks...

Negative experience: They train you to use manipulate verbiage. The training is inadequate, thus, the information given to the consumer is lacking in content. I didn’t feel comfortable with my lack of knowledge of the software and verbiage and was ostracized by management to produce. The agent must be able to inform the consumer of the ramifications, terms and conditions, it’s their home! A 200k home being tied up for 40 years for barely $500, even if the homeowner dies? That’s ridiculous! A 6% realtor fee? A lien that is filed as public record? The list goes on. The verbiage used in training that we were trained to use on the homeowners seemed very evasive. It is high pressure sales meant to take advantage of homeowners so that their homes are held hostage for 40 years only to be sold at 6%. Be wary!

Negative experience: MV reality is a scam. Don't accept their money or sign their contract! We met with someone who basically told us that in the near future if we wanted to move we were obligated to try them first. They did not say that we were indebted to them for 40 years amd that if you used someone else they would charge you 3% of your sale as well as file a lawsuit against you even when you agreed to pay the 3%. When we tried to use their realtors they were unmotivated and very unmotivated. I even texted them that I didn't feel like they wanted to sell our house. Our realtor quit and told us we could use whoever we wanted to...not true. We have been hit with this 3% and a lawsuit which has complicated the selling our house.

She doesn't know what and she can't find the contract. She accepted the money because she thinks she needs money, but didn't actually know what she was agreeing to. She couldn't see past the bribe. She doesn't know anyone from this agency and neither do I. This is a really unethical way to do business and neither one of us knows how they even knew to contact her. They took advantage of a senior and may possibly be interfering with my ability to help her move near me in another state. I'd put 0 stars if I could.

Negative experience: They called me to offer me a sum of money up front if I would agree to let them be my realtor if I ever sold my house. That's when the nightmare started. First they told me my wife from 14 years ago was on my deed. So I told them my divorce said in the papers I own the house. They don't know what they are doing because I gave them the case number and they said it was never recorded. WRONG! So I sent them a copy of divorce papers and they said the divorce papers were not recorded, even though they were stamped as received. So I had my ex-wife with myself get a quitclaim deed notarized and submitted to the court, costing me 91 dollars. The court clerk told me to my face that she is no longer on my deed. MV realty told me that they wanted a certified copy of the deed now. I'm in my 60's and have a bad heart and this was causing me a lot of stress so much that my heart was having afib issues. I finally told them to just leave me alone and I was sorry they ever called me.

Negative experience: RUN AWAY. The absolute lack of integrity within this company is astounding. Do not fall for being locked into a contract for 40 years that you CANNOT get out of. If you want to list your home with YOUR choice of who you want to work with, stay FAR away from their homeowner benefit program, you will be penalized for it. No amount of money is worth the SHAM that is the rest of this company.

Fantastic experience: I was so happy to work with Pam. She made the process very easy for us as first-time homebuyers!

Negative experience: Watch out people, yes they will give you money for a contract to sell if you ever decide to but what they don't tell you (the fine print) is they put a 3% of current market value lean against your home (can't refinance with a lean against your home) that's 15k for every 500k your home is worth. So if you do sell your home and it sells for 500k than 15k off the top + sellers fees goes to MV reality... complete rip off and if you ever need to refinance your home you have to pay 15k to MV reality to release the lean to do so...

Negative experience: This company has put a lien on my house and is preventing me from getting a loan nothing was ever mentioned to me about getting a lien put on my house very Deceiving. I need this lien removed

Negative experience: Stay away from these people. They buy leads and contact home owners trying to get them into their “loyalty program” which they give different offers when you ask for info and in the end they don’t even provide. In a market saturated there is no reason anyone would go with this company they are new to the area and insanely unethical and bad business practices.

Fantastic experience: This company is by far one of the best to work with. I’ve never heard of realtors paying homeowners just for the chance to work with them even if I was to choose to never sell my home. ✨

Negative experience: Scam artists, they’ll renew contract without your knowledge then put a lien on your home

Negative experience: I got a cold called from this company and was told that I was going to get a $900 check. If I use this company when I sell my house. when I read the contract is a different story. They will take about 9 percent from your sale if you decided to sale with someone else. And then you can’t take them to court. People because and real the contact this is a big scam.

Megan Wilson Published on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: They contact you and offer you money to use them as a reality company, I forgot and am selling to opendoor. When they offered me the "amazing deal" about a year ago I asked if I don't use them would I give them back the money they paid me it was stated yes. That's a lie. Got a call from the legal department saying I owe them 10 grand when they paid me like 700. And they will put a lean on my home if I don't pay it. They take advantage of people who don't understand the contracts and lie when they offer you the deal. I highly recommend not giving them selling rights unless you're ready to sell and plan to actually use them. Lesson learned.

Negative experience: Don't sign anything with this company. They will lock you into a 40 year contract. They put a Lis Pendens on my property and are threatening to sue us for going with another brokerage. If you have signed with them and please report the to your local/ state real estate commission and seek legal counsel. This is plain extortion

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend using this company. Macy Freed is amazing at what she does and she really cares about her customers.

Marge (MAPS) Published on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: They are scammers. If someone comes knocking at your door and tells you they are there to tell you they can offer a home warranty, don't talk to them, slam the door in their face. They are from MV Realty and if you accept their money you can't sell your home with another agent, if you go with someone else MV Realty has to be paid a %. They have scammed many low income families. Look them up on BBB
