Team Callahan at Keller Williams Realty, Savannah, GA

Negative experience: I would strongly caution anyone considering working with Keller Williams. My experience buying a home through one of their agents in 2022 has been nothing short of a nightmare. The property was marketed as “completely remodeled,” yet when the VA appraisal came through it clearly noted the main house appliances were delivered but not even installed, and the detached unit was not a legal second dwelling. None of this was disclosed to me. Since closing, I’ve uncovered layers of issues title irregularities, unpermitted work, and defects that directly contradict the seller’s and agent’s assurances. What was sold to me as a safe, move-in-ready home has instead been a financial and emotional burden for my family. Keller Williams agents and brokers are supposed to uphold basic honesty and transparency. In my case, those values were absent. The lack of disclosure, the glossing over of major problems, and the willingness to push a sale at all costs has caused lasting harm. If this is how they operate, buyers deserve to know what they’re walking into.

Fantastic experience: Glo was an amazing realtor, we moved from Ohio to Savannah and what a difference in the process but glo really made sure we happy with our choices and went out of her way a few times to make things happen for us. She is very responsive, very knowledgeable and fast at her job! She definitely will find you a home especially with her awesome vibes! Not to mention the amazing house warming gift her and the company have provided, seriously a perfect touch, a fresh cup of homemade coffee provided from them, in the yeti cup, sitting on the back brand new patio watching our kiddos run the new yard is honestly the best gift anyone could get and the final touches to add was amazing!

I began working with Russ several years ago while planning an eventual move across the country to Savannah. Russ took the time to help me learn about the different neighborhoods in Savannah. There wasn't a moment where we couldn't get into contact with him - He coordinated the inspections, went to review the pre closing work done on the property, and has continued to help us out to get the property ready to rent out We 're happy with the level of service and his enthusiasm to please his clients. We couldn't recommend him more.

Fantastic experience: There are not enough superlatives to describe my experience with Shannee and Team Callahan during the search for my first home! I originally called in hopes to schedule last minute showings for the weekend. Shannee took care to note all of my "must haves" and my preferences as she then cultivated a list of homes to show me over the next few days. Communication with her was easy and swift, and she was always open to my requests to add or change showing options. When we went to see the homes, she offered many details on the surrounding areas and really helped me to envision living in each location. Even when my weekend of showings wasn't fruitful and I had to return to Miami, she continued to show me homes via FaceTime. I was never worried about missing out on details by not being there in person; she had a detailed eye and was open and honest about what she saw and thought of each place. I greatly valued her opinions and suggestions, and they certainly led me in the right direction! Buying a home during this crazy market was frustrating at times due to bidding wars and homes selling so quickly. Shannee was always quick to put in offers on the homes I liked and provided me with advice on the best approach for each. Even after several unsuccessful attempts, she remained positive, present, and prepared for the next option that came on the market (and even those that were coming soon!). I ended up buying my home site unseen, but never had any reservations in doing so due to her professional care. Every interaction I had with Shannee and the rest of Team Callahan was positive. Fantastic experience: As first-time homebuyers, we entered the process with probably an above average level of anxiety and trepidation. Buying in a seller’s market, we were particularly concerned about navigating the competitive market and ultimately buying a home we could afford. Russ Strazzella immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that he would guide us to a desirable outcome. Our first impressions of Russ were that he was very personable, intelligent and genuinely interested in us as people. He, like us, had moved from a large metropolitan area to Savannah, in part for a more sane existence. Well before we officially entered into a contract with him and Team Callahan, he answered innumerable “in the weeds” questions we had as we did our own homework on first-time homebuying.
