Experiencia fantástica: The repairs done in my apartment by Dasa Properties maintenance staff was outstanding and I couldn't ask for a better job to be done. Every time someone comes out from their office, they're very polite and the job is fully completed.

Experiencia negativa: I am a new tenant with DASA properties. Dasa is an excellent Property Management company they made my move seamless. They are very professional understanding and kind. I am very grateful to be a tenant with DASA and I look forward to longevity with them! Sincerely Krista Carroll. Actually, I take all of that back. Dasa is not a good property management company. They have wrongly accused me of harassment when I am the victim.And I have been the victim due to neighbors, vandalizing my home.My car and physically assaulting me.And my daughter, because I asked them to please stop screaming in the middle of the street at four in the morning.Because they were having a domestic violence dispute. Well, I sure do regret telling them to please be quiet because that's what started these trash people over here and riverside. It started to make them hate me and harass me because I told them to please be quiet. They are very inconsiderate, arguing in the middle of the street at 4 in the morning. When people are trying to sleep, regardless, the fact that I have police reports that state that I have orders of protection against the individuals that are harassing me, they have no proof or no evidence of anything that I have done to them. Because I have done nothing. But yet, desa properties is listening to the buffalo police.Even though they also refused to allow me to show them my evidence and suggested that I be evicted. So now, data property is evicting myself, whom is a single mother with a daughter with autism. I've been here a year and I've paid my rent on time every single month and I've paid my rent in advance. But yet these people are listening to lies and did not give me a chance to prove those lies wrong. They did not give me a chance to show my evidence that I am the victim and now I am being wrongfully evicted. So I will be filing a lawsuit against them. They think I'm just a joke. They talk over me and disrespect me, especially the ladies in the office named teresa tara , and the rest of the miserable women that work there. Once again, I tried my best and begged them to let me show my evidence that I am the victim. But they ignored that . My advice to anyone do not ever rent from this company management. They are horrible people. And if you like to see my evidence, I'd be more than happy to show you my name is Krista Carroll. I have bruises on my body. My car was vandalized, my tires were slashed. My window to my home was bashed open. But yet, i'm the one being evicted, after i've been the victim. Do not ever rent from daysa properties again. In your life, I'm trying to tell you people to save yourself a lot of stress and headache in heartbreak and money do not do it. They are a bunch of evil, non understanding, non empathetic and lawbreaking people

Experiencia negativa: Worse property management I ever dealt with! Every time I contact them about an issue in their property they made excuses to fix the issue. The one maintenance guy that came straight up told me management for this company look as us as scum of the earth in the Rochester ny areas! They look down on us because of the life we have to live every single day not understanding we have to live with what we are giving. I didn’t received any help from the government and everything was paid cash but unfortunately some of us rochesterians can’t have the luxury of working due to either mental health disability or personal issues most of us deal with on daily basis. I do not recommend renting from these people and I hope they fall apart and get out of our city!!

Experiencia positiva: He did a good job fixing my bathroom floor tile. It doesn't look the same but it'll do. For my bedroom floor I wanted tile but instead they wanted it painted. The paint is slowly peeling like before, that's why I wanted tile.

Experiencia negativa: I had rented from the company over 4 years ago. They sold the house I’m living in , Dasa never asked if I was interested in buying the house nor did they tell me they were selling it . They sent reps during the summer for photo inspection. When I asked why , the Dasa rep lied and said the bank just wanted to be sure the unit was up to code . They could’ve been honest and upfront

Experiencia positiva: Every one likes a HONEST REVIEW, HERE YOU GO. the people I've spoken to on the phone are great. Nice and professional,understanding especially when first moving in it can always be rocky at first especially with getting what you want when you want it. I've had a few issues nothing too major and as far as maintenance goes they try, it's 95 percent good and 5 percent needs some work. But the last problem was handled quickly, professional and easy. But if it's something easy just do it yourself and save every one the hassle. Tara , Cindy and Jake , Darlene you guys are great - 6 months in and there still great , very understanding and the maintenance is good very knowledgeable about the property and they get right on it also very respectful (100 off thing is amazingly helpful) Thanks DASA , glad to be your tenant..

Experiencia positiva: I was not originally with Dasa properties LLC the house I was renting from another landlord was sold after living in my place almost 5 yrs. The new owners came & sold me a dream yet will not approve any upgrades/remodeling if its only due to being cosmetic, They didnt approve to repaint, (That was done at my expense) The upper bathroom had a cracked floor underneath the toilet & that wasnt ever approved by the owners,there was black mold on my ceiling they sent ppl to paint over it on the ceiling the CofO wasnt ever current & still hadnt passed as of Nov when I moved after 7 yrs at that address but only with Dasa managing for like the last maybe 2 1/2 yrs they always went up on raising the rent but wasnt even worth the rental asking amount. The kitchen floor I started pulling up myself thats the only reason they came & did that just through down snap together flooring but looked much better but floor still was sinking in some places the whole sink was pulling away from the wall in the kitchen they sent nobody to even see about that the cupboard they literally cut a square wood & nailed it up there none of my windows opened in my dining room, kitchen & the only window in the upstairs bathroom was covered with the shower walls, no type of proper ventilation the vanity was gross walls fiberglass & a remodeler I was hiring said he wouldnt even touch the bathroom being the walls are made of fiberglass & more than likely once he rips the bathroom walls out its gonna be all asbestos underneath then you get in to another series of problems. I tried so hard to continue to stay but the owners dont allow these property management companies to do anything when I first moved in 11/2019 the rent was $750 for my unit when I moved out 11/2 the rent was $1,010 only went up because of covid & everything else I begged & pleaded with Dasa Properties but the owners of this particular house in Rochester just said No No No! I had long conversations & plans with Dasa only to be disappointed over & over its crazy being I knew once I moved that the apartment is gonna have to get all redone,repainted, bathroom upgraded & new windows whatever they said no to me the next tenants arent gonna pay these high rents with the condition that Dasa has been allowed to rent these places listen, if you wouldnt let a dog or your own loved ones live in it then dont expect anyone else to rent it either!!!!!! Hopefully, Dasa properties LLC realizes the importance of keeping long term tenants & the owners dont allow Dasa to lose their tenants Property management companies can only do what the owners give them the funds & the permission to do!

Experiencia fantástica: I was,at first, scared when DASA took over managing my apartment, but soon found that I would be staying in my comfortable home. What a relief! Years later it's still cozy and convenient thanks to their dedicated and competent employees. Maintenance and repairs are fast and efficient, they treat problems as "No Problem ". ACES all the way!

Experiencia negativa: This company is a disgusting disgrace I've looked at a few rentals from them and the first one was disgusting I thought ok maybe just a fluke then I looked at 2 more. When I say disgusting that's an understatement they're dirty bugs cob webs trash old paint from the past tenants holes in the walls gaps in the door painted floors the smell in the houses are disgusting. I took a video of the last one I looked at. Shame on you whoever owns these properties because you never see or meet them they just send you a code to the lock box and the key is in there no human contact once so ever so professional! If you wouldn't live in a house that you own you shouldn't dare show it! You wouldn't put your family in what you own don't show it sell it get rid of it shame on you!

Experiencia fantástica: I live at the house mass for 8 years now and this company is there, if I am not mistaken, it is carried out from 2020-2021 approximately. I cannot complain about them, provided I have had any problems, whatever it may be, they communicate quickly and seek a solution to the problem sent to their maintenance team or a private company. Thank you Cindy, she is the one I have the most communication with, Thanks to the maintenance team Eric, Luis (they are the ones who usually come to work here) in short, thank you all.

Experiencia negativa: Beware of this company, nothing but scammers.They don’t care about fixing anything in your house and when they send maintenance to do any repairs, they do the cheapest job to not come out of pocket with anything more than they have to. Also most of the Employees staffs are pretty cool except that Management Miserable Lady named Tara. She has no professionalism specking to people. Yikes I rather rent from another company than to deal with that kind of behavior. Good Luck to anyone that wants to experience that treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: Family owned and operated buisiness with down to earth and understanding people. If you talk to them they are more than welcome to try to work with you. Very responsive... had a maintenance order put in, which you simply do on your phone, for a new screen on a window and they were there a day or two later. I honestly wasn't expecting their fix to be that quick. Had another maintenance order that was for minor plumbing and they came the very next day and fixed it. Would recommend to those looking to rent at reasonable rates.

Experiencia negativa: Completely unrealistic. They expect you to make three times the rent for any property, even as a couple if your not married your income doesn't count together. Then you want to charge 1200 for 900 dollar apartments. They were polite but this place is so unrealistic. As soon as I see dasa I just skip that unit immediately

Even with me showing up a hour early, to any business person with common sense that wouldn’t be a problem considering the fact nobody was at the “showing” completely empty of other persons. Experiencia negativa: This company is very unprofessional when it comes to house showings. The guy Kyle or whatever his name was. Very rude and unprofessional when I called for assistance with the lock box for a self showing. He then proceeded with an attitude because I showed up early to my house viewing appointment never knew that early was a problem. Then after he gave me the code neither set of keys worked for the door. I called back he then said he would send me a video to my email regarding turning the lock to unlock the door. In all my years I’ve never seen a simple process made so complicated especially it being a SELF SHOWING. If I’m showing myself I don’t get why coming early would be a problem! Doge a huge bullet and saved a ton of money

Experiencia negativa: This company is a literal joke! Put in an application almost 3 weeks ago for an apartment and was contacted by them to send some additional information regarding income for my husband and I. Submitted that information and was told they needed this to show proof that we meet the income requirement as my husbands credit was below the necessary requirements. Took almost 1.5 weeks to submit this information due to issues receiving emails from Dasa representative to our employers. Attempted to ask some very reasonable questions about the unit we applied for (like what utilities were responsible for, pet rent costs, etc) and was told that they will not answer my questions unless my application is approved. Ok? Continued on with the application then was circled back and told they still didn’t have enough proof of income and needed more paystubs (although at this point we had submitted 4 each). Then got a call later that we were denied due to my husbands credit. Understandable, but we were made to run in circles for weeks when that information was discussed and known by the property at the start. A major waste of time in my opinion and still never even got my questions regarding the property answered. Who in their right mind would rent an apartment without being able to ask basic questions about the unit. Also attempted at one point to contact the buffalo office to ask about my issues receiving emails for employment verification and got major attitude from a male there stating “well if they can’t receive the email there’s isn’t much we can help with”. Stay away from this company. I read the reviews prior but thought maybe some people were exaggerating. All these bad reviews are true!

Experiencia fantástica: DASA property workers was at my apartment to clean my shed. I've lived on the property for a few years and never entered the shed, in fear of what ever was in there. I'm so happy to say, the workers were respectful and diligent! Not a piece of debris was left in my yard or garbage!! Most importantly, I now have a "she shed"! Great job, gentlemen!

Experiencia negativa: Buyer Please Beware! If I could give a negative star I would. Please do appropriate research before giving this company your money or info. I recently viewed a couple of houses mostly all were filthy, dilapated, major obvious plumbing issues, electrical issues, if your unit is fortunate to have more than one electrical socket. After several months of loling I found one " Fixer-UPPER" which was grossly filthy on the inside and looked NOTHING AT All like the fake pictures they use for misrepresentation. Oddly enough it was in a nice neighborhood and the space was comparable fir the asking price. My friend and I were just going to assume the clean up and minor repairs. Until we educated ourselves and discovered that once you sign the lease your stuck. Allegedly they don't honor any refunds, even though it's against the law and petition easily secure your money back. Other reviews alledge the use crack-heads and drunks for maintenance repairs which causes a safety threat. Evey unit I saw was not up to parts with cleanliness and sanitation don't be surprised by possible black mole l, and led paint poison if you have small children. The best they save for last, my favorite, the PET SCAM, were they tell you they welcome pets, but leave out the part about the $250.00 pet rent per pet you will have to pay once they have taken the money you need to move and refuse to refund your deposit without having to points court and fight like hell for it. The staff are very unprofessional they managers act highly offended to get off their backside and work for any cause. They only there to prey on the desperate, and uninformed renter. I was spared this nightmare. Please move accordingly when moving, do your homework and res research. The predators and scammers are most definitely on there A Game working this messed up rental economy. Check the reviews, the BBB , the city do what ever you have to but don't get caught up because you are just another number and all they care about id's gaining just another dollar. They well tell you they will send a cleaning crew after you sign this the lease bye Felicia. This company has some of the filthiest houses I have ever seen I don't if they even clean themselves. Becareful before it's to late ! Please

Experiencia negativa: Horrible simply horrible and they do not care at all about how they are providing dangerous living conditions. I have pictures and video. I’ve been a tenant since January and I still have not moved in due to the health risks present in the home. These people need to go back to ethic training. No one in their office has any ethics. Absolutely horrible my family has to live in a home that has a river running through the basement, risky electrical system, hvac system that has not been updated since 09 and they refuse to connect me with the owner directly and continue to pass the buck and provide miss information and press me for payments. I’ve paid $500 to prep this place for move in and then the electric system showed its self. Looking at the reviews looks like they have more respect for buffalo customers since they can sue locally but in Rochester they couldn’t care less. Section 8 approved them and the city didn’t yet I’m expected to move in and pay rent. Something shady is going on here

Experiencia negativa: My very first house rental and it’s my worst experience ever! They only come Patch up basic issues. The big important stuff they ignore! They mark work orders as completed when they haven’t completed anything at all. Maintenance is very nice but they’re either high off something or drunk ! I’ve been waiting for 4 months for them to fix my tub. There’s no communication at all. Management doesn’t answer your calls and they don’t call back either. They literally ignore you ! SLUM LORDS at its finest and they simply do not care! I can go on and on about my experience and I’ve only been a tenant for 4 months. I just wanted some place comfortable for my family to live until we purchased our own home. I can’t wait to move !!!!

Experiencia negativa: I wish I could give a zero. They are con artists and are very unfair with housing in Rochester for Rochester citizens and they are located in Buffalo. They have married couple pay for 2 different applications for $20 each then deny, not because you can't afford the place but, because you are not what they are looking for. Wow I thought society was pass that point but, no they aren't and they're a rental company. This is who they allow to control our housing, people who can sleep at night knowing they denied a family because they just don't like them. Experiencia negativa: they take money from applicants, let applications accumulate over a week and a half, and then deny renters because of credit history (mid 600's) even though my income is $10,000 a month... we have reasons to stay in the neighborhood the property was in, because of school purposes for another 2 years but it is not a good area. they're a complete joke.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible place to rent from they didn’t care about mouses getting into our home i have a 2 year old daughter and all they had to say was for my mother and i to buy our own traps we called the health department on them and they lied and said they sent out an exterminator but never did very ignorant rude people please learn how to speak to people over the phone. I also don’t understand how the hell you think you can tell my mother we can’t park in the driveway because the lady upstairs has rights to it because she so called does the shoveling and yard work she hasn’t been here a month my mother and I have been doing this way before she moved in so that doesn’t make any sense it should be whoever pulls up first! I’m sure you guys are just trying to treat us like crap because you got caught in your lies!! again please don’t rent from these people they don’t care

Experiencia negativa: Terrible communication skills I’ve been at my place since December with NO GARBAGE BIN OR RECYCLING BIN it’s been 2 weeks then 4 weeks until they come well now we exceeded BOTH now there telling me I have to wait ANOTHER 2 weeks it’s starting to bring mice on top of doin melds for leaks still no one has come to look to see if it’s bad or what house could literally be falling apart and they wouldn’t care so now I’m no longer calling about anything they want rent money on time but can’t see about their tenants in a timely manner

We are so sorry for your issues with the Niagara Falls Public Works and Sanitation Department, due to their back log of recycling and garage totes. Dasa Properties has been contacting them daily as we can not provide these things, they have to come from the city. We also had to file a police report of missing totes to even get them on order. We are in constant contact with Department of Public Works at 716-286-4840. Yet we are at their mercy as they have them, we don't. Please feel free to contact them directly. AS far as for the MELDS and the leak at your home, I will move this information up to one of the supervisors to them get this rectified immediately.

Experiencia negativa: Where do i start? There is always someone different with maintenance like this drunk Spanish guy was sent to do my furnace. I made him leave because for one the smell was so loud and strong and plus he was playing around with wires from the old furnace it just made me nervous. One white guy flirted with me saying he has keys to all the properties. They are always doing a patch job on all the work being done. But want and will hound you for rent money. The office staff is unprofessional. I have met 3 of their employees over time that were nice. SLUM LORDS AND HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT COMPANY. There is so much more and not enough space to text. But what i can say is i thank them because all i have endured with this company made me want to just own my own damn home so i never have to go through this stuff again

Experiencia negativa: RENTERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 )They claim they are powerless to make repairs taking people's rent &frequently no maintenance done on their rentals or is it THEY ONLY MANAGE SO YOU NEVER KNOW WHO OWNS IT! 2)ALSO they abandoned the rental after the LEFT BASEMENTS wall collapsed on my less than 6 month old brand-new washer and dryer the worst place my ex husband rented from and I'll never rent from this company and if your on sec 8 they put u on the bottom of the repair list despite sec8 requests for repair 3)tenants are not responsible to fix n pay for foundation and basement repairs and plumbing 4) I turned on the bathroom light and it caught fire called zero DATES TO REPAIR +BRING TO PASSING CITY INSPECTION FOR SEC 8 IF THEY DONT LISTEN TO GOVERNMENT WHY BELIEVE THEY WILL LISTEN TO YOU!?! 5)BROKEN LEAD PAINT WINDOW NOT FUNCTIONING so when it snowed I had snow indoor 6) NO HOT WATER 7) NO HEAT FROM OCT TO MAY so I grabbed myself and my property and moved out no I WON'T EVER pay 1500( In 2012 8)for a death trap of a unit my real danger was how sec 8 decided to tell me I couldn't move my property out until they inspected I told them this house caught fire after multiple FAILED sec 8 inspection!!!absolutelynot!! l told her I'm not going to allow their unit to kill me with electrical fires due to LANDLORD GREED AND damage from landlord negligence!and the xchromazone know as "Cindy and Karen OF DASA" gave the worst attitude in the office telling whyy not move if it is so horrid so I kept my money n left even the city building inspector micheal said I was right to leave! And failed the unit for the 8th time with section 8!

Experiencia negativa: Had own background check and credit check. According to NYS tenants rights if the reports are under 30 days old (which they are) they are supposed to accept them. They did not. They claimed they had to run their own reports. Also, the charge for reports is not supposed to go through until they run them AND you receive a copy. Neither occurred and the charges are on my account.

Experiencia negativa: I liked most of their rentals but everything about staff is poor. Communication is awful you can’t speak with landlord but only front desk lady, online application is bogus. I did application submitted everything that was required and for 2 months my app was pending. I spent so much money on transportation going to almost all the apartments in Rochester to view because they would approve someone and say you have to view the next apartment if you’re still interested. I spent over $200 on transportation and still wasn’t approved and didn’t get my app fee back. They rent apartment and tell you it’s available for viewing. I’ve wasted time and money. I’ll never recommend

Pearl I am sorry that you did not have a good experience. These apartments go quick. We do try and explain this to tenants so that they understand the urgency of getting all documents submitted in order to approve your application

Experiencia negativa: Filled out the application, which was 20$. The money breaker is that if you don’t have a car you will be spending a lot of money getting to these houses. The new apartments show online at the beginning of the week. So please try to get 1st on the apartment application or else they will be sending you to an apartment and then the next day, you will be upset. another person got the apartment you just paid money to go see. They do a credit check and some apartments require 3xs the rent. Just letting a person know because I was in a homeless situation and you will not be moving in, in a month. realistically speaking.

Toenia - Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. The $20 application fee is good for 90 days. Once the application fee has been paid, you can see as many units as you would like. The apartments are going quickly so I would suggest that if you like an apartment, you put a deposit to hold the unit. All of our units require applicants to make at least 3 times their salary.

Experiencia negativa: Application are $20 I paid for 2 (which is $40 duh ) but then was told I only needed to do one application since it’s valid for 90 days and they will refund me my other $20 this was about a month ago never spoke to anyone since lol they don’t answer the phone or reply back to emails

Experiencia fantástica: Any time I have had an issue at my apartment Dasa Properties is always quick to fix and rectify the problem. It's easy to submit a maintenance request online! Thank you for being so efficient in making repairs to the property I reside in. I have been in the same place for 16 years and have never had any issues since they have been maintaining the property. Joe did a great job replacing ceiling tiles in bathroom after tiles were saturated with water.

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible never fix stood with my deposit and then had the nerves to try and say I owe them had me and my children living in horrible condition my current landlord sold them the property and they had to come fix a few things and never did had random ppl looking like drug user coming in my home
