Experiencia positiva: I am chair of the Clubhouse/Pool Committee in our neighborhood. Yesterday (Christmas Day!)......a drain pipe broke under the kitchen sink in the midst of a clubhouse rental! Not good, right? Well, I didn't know about it until today. I promptly called APRIL PRITCHETT, our property manager, who responded quickly to our need. We really needed the repair done today since the Clubhouse is rented again tomorrow!!!! APRIL , on a day off!, arranged for a plumber....who was prompt and efficient. Many thanks to her for her assistance!

Experiencia negativa: I closed on the purchase of my condo in Wafco Mills on October 29 of this year. Today, almost 2 months later, I am just now receiving a key to access the main building after multiple emails and phone calls. Five days after closing and two trips to their office in Revolutionary Mills to finally get a parking pass to allow me to legally park by my new place. I was only allowed a pass once I produced a copy of the deed, even though all the paperwork to join the HOA was submitted the second week of October. I paid two months of HOA fees at closing and the level of service has been substandard. Even requested a sit down meeting through email to property manager with no response at all. One of my biggest issues is working 5 hoursnto assemble an outdoor wicker sofa after moving in. After two days, they PMC pressure washed the deck over my patio and left my patio fullnof dirt and debris. A couple days later, they came back to paint the deck and spilled paint all all over my new wicker sofa, essentially destroying a new piece of furniture. I took pictures and provided invoice on what I had paid for it and when purchased and after two weeks and being ignored and asked the same questions, the agreed to reimburse me once I ordered a new one out of my own pocket. I tried to resolve this issue a the lowest level possible and felt like I was left with the short end of that deal, especially with the time that I will have to exoend putting this new one together. If your workers are licensed and bonded, this issue should not have been mishandled as such. This is my 5th house I have owned in life and my 3rd HOA. This is the first time I have regretted being part of one, especiallynat the price point and I have owned in Minneapolis, Memphis, Nashville, and Charlotte. I am truly praying that the management team can become more responsive and serve their customers better!!!

Experiencia negativa: ⭐️ 1 STAR (only because I can’t give zero) I have never dealt with a property management company as unprofessional, inconsistent, and unresponsive as Priestley Management. If you’re considering hiring them for your community, run the other way. In just a few months, I’ve experienced: ❌ Incorrect account balances ❌ Unexplained charges added without notice ❌ Contradictory information from their own staff ❌ Ignored emails and missed deadlines ❌ No communication from their attorney despite repeated requests ❌ Lack of transparency about services we’re being charged for ❌ Failure to provide basic documentation they are legally required to maintain They even added a random charge called “Correct Beginning Balance 2025” to my account with no explanation whatsoever — while my dues were fully paid in advance. When I asked for clarification, I was told they “only enter what the developer gives them,” which was immediately contradicted by an email from their own assistant showing they had full access to my records months earlier. The inconsistency is unbelievable. On top of that, we were told no contractors have been on-site since October 1st — yet homeowners are still paying dues that include those services. If we’re paying for work that isn’t being done, where is the money going? And when I sent a detailed email on Monday requesting documents and answers with a clear deadline, the response was silence. Not one document, not one update, not one answer. This is how they handle “priority” issues. This company has shown zero accountability, zero transparency, and zero urgency in handling legitimate concerns from the people who pay them. If you value honesty, communication, and basic professionalism — don’t put your community in their hands.

Experiencia fantástica: Wendy & I moved into the Woods of Grove Park in Burlington, NC in July of 2020. We were new to condo living and did not really know what to expect. We learned about our management company, Priestly, through email blasts to the community, phone calls and emails regarding specific issues and through word of mouth. Now, five and half years later, we feel fortunate to have landed here with our Priestly rep, April Pritchett, as our primary contact. April facilitates our Board meetings, keeps info flowing to our members, and helps us resolve issues with her experience and professional skills tempered with kindness and respect. We hope she will remain as our contact as long as possible.

Experiencia positiva: HOA fess can be paid monthly, 6 month or annual. For the year of 2025 I paid $300 for Jan to Dec 2025. Payment was accepted. I just received a notification letter that I owe Priestly Management $50 for Oct and Nov 2025. Makes no sense.

Experiencia positiva: I bought my condo at Timberbrooke condos back in 2022: I’ve had some issues, as we all do, but Mary always answers my emails in a timely manor and we usually get things resolved in a timely manor: Mary manages over 15 properties so I know she is doing her best and I’m learning to just give things time and she will make sure they get attended to. I have been able to give her things I see in/and or around my building and she is either aware of them or grateful that I’ve brought them to her attention. Great community and look forward to a few more years in the Timberbrooke Community:

Experiencia fantástica: We live in a community with an HOA managed by Priestley. Mary Queen has been themanager for several years now. Overall we can report she does an excellent job. She responds to our questions and requests promptly. We try not to bug Mary or complain about minor issues. We don't expect perfection from the HOA unlike some neighbors. It seems they are the ones who complain frequently and loudly. She cannot please all the people all the time. She also has to meet demands of the property developer and board of directors, work under a tight budget constraints, and oversee multiple contractors. Understandably there may be times when she cannot satisfy residents' wishes. We have been frustrated at times when contractors fall short on our expectations. But that is not Mary's fault. She however has shown us her willing enough to work on fixing matters brought to her attention. Our expectation is that Mary is responsible for dealing with problems/concerns at Welden Ridge in a responsible and professional manor. She has a very challenging job--one we believe she excels at while being respectful and pleasant to us.

Experiencia negativa: I would like to echo what others have said about how terrible this company is to work with. The only thing you can rely on is them taking an exorbitant amount of dues from you monthly. They lack accountability, communication, and timeliness. Have taken off work twice to have repairs completed and nobody has shown to complete the work 100%. Were originally told that a repair would be made to our roof, windows and a back door- was confirmed several times via phone and email. Interestingly enough, when I call out their terrible communication and no-shows, I am told that they will not repair the door, and it is up to the homeowner. That would have been fine if they didn't confirm they would repair the door for us on MULTIPLE occasions weeks ago and their maintenance manager confirmed the maintenance man, Nick, would repair it in the same email chain. Now we are left scrambling to replace a door before we move out next week. No apologies, just a "thanks for the feedback! Have a nice day!" from the new manager, Dayla. So glad we will soon be moving out of this neighborhood and no longer have to deal with management who do not even know their own bylaws. If you are thinking about moving to a PMC HOA neighborhood, DON'T. To PMC management- do not make promises that you cannot keep and learn to take accountability.

Experiencia negativa: The chapel ridge community has been partner with preistley mgmt for a number of years now. I have spent over 40 years in law enforcement and security. I would ask that that more attention be paid to the ills of the chapel ridge clubhouse and its pools lack of security. we have suffered yet another killing of a young person due to the use of pool monitors. We would ask that security be strengthened in order to deter this from happening in the future and lastly repair the roof, gutters, playground needing proper drainage due to the effects on the pool and the pool foundation which is now cracked due to poor drainage and needs repair . gutters have plants growing i, damage all over please see the photos.

Experiencia negativa: Priestley property management is the worst. Maintenance work orders are delayed or ignored. I am surprised that many people talk about the rudeness of the staff. In the 3 years I have been in my home, I have yet to be able to get anyone to answer or return my calls. I am now waiting on them to give me the code to swimming pool. If I were late on my HOA payment, they would be very responsive. I am hopeful that my neighborhood will get rid of them very soon. Linda Harris

Experiencia negativa: In the 10 years my neighborhood has had Priestley Management services for our HOA we've had three property managers, and none of them were professional or friendly. We pay for a website with a homeowner directory that never gets updated and a calendar that never gets used. Documents are only uploaded when homeowners beg. Staff do not know the applicable laws and get nasty and defensive if you try to provide information. David Priestley is no better. Rather than educate his staff he chooses to act defensively. In 10 years I haven't seen evidence that anyone in this company cares about anything except protecting themselves and getting paid. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Pathetic.

Experiencia negativa: Never been a fan. We've not had our townhomes pressure washed once in the 3 years I've been here. Their communication is HORRIBLE... and our community parking lights have been out for more than a week now and they not said or done anything. One side of the neighborhood received a landscape refresh, but not the other.... been like that for more than a year.... received a half hearted annual hoa meeting notice, emailed 24 hours before the meeting. I'm sure they have low fees and that the only reason they have properties to manage.

Experiencia negativa: 1. David Priestley——lied about putting down grass seeds. I had to purchase my own grass seeds and they were expensive. 2. Grass has not been mowed and is up to my calf. 3. Abruptly stopped trimming the hedges. Letter states community hedge trimming in place. Funny, no one in the neighborhood admits to being notified. 4. HOA is punitive but provides sparse or incompetent service. 5. Living in a Priestley Managed Community is like living in a slum.

Experiencia negativa: I live in the condos at Kinderton Community in bermuda Run, NC. Priestley did good when they started but Becky Myers is slow to take action on maintenance issues. Her response is always a lack of money or we need to wait until we have several issues to justify a service call..despite the fact that the board saw fit to spend $60,000 on replacing bushes about a year and a half ago. She is always good at coming up with excuses for not doing something. Attached is a picture of my neighbors gutter with weeds gone wild. This is not the only one like this and others have been reported with drainage issues.

Natalie Thacker was super helpful, explained how things work, provided fobs, and gave us a tour of the beautifully decorated clubhouse. Experiencia fantástica: Had a bit of a mix-up and reached out to PMC for assistance. Leslie went above and beyond to not only fix the issue, but she addressed it with urgency and a great attitude. I really appreciate Leslie's quick response and it was a pleasure working with her. Definitely feel confident that PMC and Leslie will be able to help me in the future!

Experiencia negativa: My sister lives at a Priestly Management manager condo, the faulty caulking has allowed insects to enter. This situation has been brought to management attention numerous times and they refuse to deal with issues in a timely manner. Also the removal of a foundation planting has been discussed several times and nothing is ever done. Our family is appalled at their lack of response to our requests to resolve these issues.

Experiencia fantástica: I just had the pleasure of working as a vendor with Natalie Thacker, Community Manager at MacIntosh on the Lake . The entire project ran smoothly and she was a joy to work with and was a great communicator. The shades are installed and look amazing. It was a fun project and she certainly made our job easy.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a homeowner with one of their communities for almost 2 years now. The lack of following up when there’s a concern doesn’t equate to the steep HOA fees. I’ve sent emails and left voicemails and no one has reached back. That’s no way to treat any homeowner or even a tenant that has issues or concerns, especially when the problem falls on them because of the vendors they hire to do yard work .

Experiencia fantástica: Priestley has been our HOA managment company since I moved into the neighborhood 10 years ago. They have always delivered outstanding service and even helped us navigate the issues that came with the new construction of Highway 840 behind our neighborhood.
