Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend using this company for your next booking. Our family stayed at one of their properties in Broken Bow. I initially tried to contact the company a week before we left to ask some questions. I did not receive a response through the VRBO platform. Once we arrived, we realized the sofa beds had no sheets. We attempted to contact the number listed in the check-in paperwork, but after trying three times to get through, I was informed that it was only an emergency number and they could not assist me with the sheets. As a result, we slept on a bed without sheets. The next day, we sent them a text about some other issues, such as a lack of washcloths, insufficient towels in the rooms, the upstairs shower being clogged, some restrooms not having hot water the first day, and the electrical outlets in one of the rooms not working. It took all day for someone to drop the sheets and towels off. When she arrived, we also showed her trash that was left on the property. She told us they were in a "hurry" to change the property over and didn't have time to do a proper walkthrough. Later that day, the maintenance man came to fix the shower, and when we asked about the electrical outlets in the room, he said he wasn't told about any issue. Needless to say, they were not fixed for the time we were there. This company has poor communication and bad customer service. I would NOT rent with this company again.

Experiencia positiva: Our stay with Unwind Property Management did not justify the cost. The house was missing basic essentials for a large group : no hangers, no drawers for you clothes (they expected us to live out of suit case apparently) no mixing bowls or placemats, no basic items like salt, and no garbage disposal, so we had to pull food out of the sink by hand. The property felt worn and poorly maintained: a broken toilet seat, rugs that smelled like foul odor, very poor insulation (you hear every step from upstairs), and an overall lack of cleanliness that didn’t match the listing photos or price point. What concerns me most is what happened afterward. The host originally reviewed us as excellent guests who left the place “wonderfully clean.” Only after I left an honest review about the condition of the home did they suddenly try to charge a $529 “excess cleaning” fee, using a photo of linens and towels that had clearly been bundled into a pile to look messier than they were. This felt retaliatory and completely unjustified. I would not book with this management company again.

Experiencia positiva: While the Mountain Cascades house is big and beautiful and accommodated our crowd well, the comfort level one would expect to receive in such a fine house is sorely lacking. The spring could be felt in every mattress, the couches are uncomfortable. They are old and worn out, the recliner legs are about ready to collapse. The dining room chairs are all loose and falling apart. The theatre room couches are nasty. Pool cue sticks were all broken, but one. The listsing says "arcade," but it's only an Xbox. There are no other games or activities besides the pool table. The kitchen cabinet doors and drawers are rickety, loose or falling off. The insides are worn and dirty. Fridge shelves are broke. Flooring is scratched and beat up all over. Everything just feels old and worn out. Disappointing to say the least considering the high premium we paid to stay in such a "fancy" house over Thanksgiving weekend. The most shocking part is the house has holes in the exterior walls and roof. You could see light through them at night. You could hear critters crawling in the kitchen and dining room ceiling every night and then had a gliding squirrel get inside and ascend on us INSIDE the house one night. The lack of care and upkeep on this house is quite obvious. The pool is amazing, which the kids loved, but if you're looking for the comforts of home this house leaves a lot to be desired. The management staff was quick to respond to our questions and requests. The house was just disappointing.

Experiencia fantástica: The house was easy to get to, and nicely located just outside the business of Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed the hot tub and games upstairs in the loft. Since the house is a new build, we would have liked to see some additional comfort touches like towel hooks in the bathrooms, hooks in the foyer for jackets, umbrellas, etc. The house was fully stocked with everything needed to enjoy a family getaway and I would definitely stay here again.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I had an amazing time in Elijay, GA at Creekside Manor. The home was comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. Everything was so clean and the home was spacious enough that we (11) didn’t have to be on top of each other unless we wanted to be. It was also adequately supplied for kitchen use, which we loved since we were doing three days over the Thanksgiving holiday. The area was so peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed being away from the city (Atlanta/Detroit) Again, thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It was spotless—so clean and well cared for. The décor was minimal in the best way and thoughtfully placed throughout. Every space—the bathrooms, bedrooms, game room, and kitchen—was pristine. We really appreciated the extra touches like provided seasonings, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, and plenty of towels for both the shower and the spa. The fireplace added such a cozy, homey feel. The layout was perfect, with a full bed and bathroom upstairs and a bunk bed with another bathroom downstairs, giving us the perfect amount of separation and privacy. We also felt very safe at night, which made the stay even more relaxing. The spa was a standout—so clean, perfectly hot, and such a treat to enjoy. Experiencia fantástica: We had a wonderful time at Evergreene Bear cabin! We loved relaxing in the hot tub during sunset, making s'mores at night and cuddling up on the couch with the fireplace. Experiencia fantástica: We had a great time in Nashville for my wife's birthday. Our host Amy was terrific. The place was perfect for the 14 of us. The location just can't be beat. We were close to the Gulch area but Broadway was also within walking distance for us, which was a pleasant surprise, especially for a big crowd. If we return to Nashville, we would definitely stay here again.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything about this cabin was perfect to enjoy a week in the mountains with the family. The game room downstairs was clutch for the kids (good luck beating our high score on Donkey Kong) & the views are spectacular! A cold front came through day 1 of our stay & the fireplaces on each level were such a nice touch. Host Amy was very responsive & attentive to all the details. Experiencia negativa: Adding this edit to help people. The property has been named “The Destination” now and they still have yet to update the photos on the listing! This property cost over $8000 for the week and we never received a call to make things right after the property manager said his boss would call back. This property is 2210 Woodcock Trail known as The Experience. Posting for my dad who rented a cabin in the Smokies with this company. We arrived to the place which smelled heavily of bleach and vomit. My dad tried calling Unwind with no reply. They then sent a text. We had to relocate it smelled so bad and was unsanitary. The place is also nicer in the photos which is deceptive advertising. They told us the next day which we had to message them (do not expect them to reach out and care) that their policy states no refunds for matters of cleanliness. Well, I guess their policy must also be they’re not going to send any help when you call. We’re here to celebrate their 50th anniversary and this company made it a nightmare. I hope this review saves someone thousands of dollars which cost us using this company. The photos just show how run down this property is and a disgusting dirty towel on the patio. That just touches the surface! Oh and the cleaning fee is $1000! This property is managed by Emelia, Cole, and Jakob.

Experiencia fantástica: This cabin was excellent! The view is remarkable. It’s tucked away high up a mountain. No traffic or noise except nature. Beds are comfortable. About 10 minutes from town. Cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Amy and Zach’s place was absolutely stunning! We had a blast watching movies in the theater room, splashing around in the indoor pool, and relaxing in the hot tub after a long hike. The cabin is perfectly located — close to town, but far enough out that you still feel tucked away in the mountains. There was a little construction nearby, but it didn’t bother us at all. Everything was peaceful, clean, and comfortable. We always love visiting the Smoky Mountains, and this place did not disappoint. A perfect stay all around — 10/10!

Experiencia positiva: The good: We enjoyed our stay overall. The house was mostly clean and well-furnished and offered plenty of space for our group. The property managers were very communicative during our stay. The bad: Unfortunately, we ran into quite a few things that really didn't match the "luxury" listing description. The biggest issue was the sewage smell in the main floor bedroom bathroom and half bath - it was really strong and lasted almost the entire trip. We mentioned it to the property manager and they sent someone out to fix it, but whatever they did to fix it only lasted about a day and then the smell returned. There were nails sticking up all around the deck. Most of the cranks on the windows were missing and/or stripped, so you had to take a crank from another window to open one. The doors to the cabinet below the kitchen sink were broken and hanging by one hinge. The top rack and door of the dishwasher were broken. Multiple bathroom faucets were loose. The sliding glass door didn't work properly and the screen was ripped. Many of the windows had cobwebs in them.The bath towels were very small and felt cheap. We communicated all of this post-stay and have followed up, but have yet to get a response. Unwind had the audacity to ask for a 5-star review, but given their unwillingness to address these issues, I can't give anything above a 3.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view! Absolutely five star cleanliness with everything you need! We highly recommend the service from Unwind Vacations and Amy was wonderful to work with as well! We had a wonderful vacation with our friends and this cabin is perfect for entertaining with a huge kitchen. Very well stocked. Beautiful bedrooms, showers and very large. Hot tub! We spent many hours enjoying the outside fireplace, large porch overlooking a beautiful pasture with highland cows and turkeys, and a beautiful mountain range in the distance! We couldn't ask for more and five stars all the way!

Experiencia negativa: We rented the Riverwood cabin. My husband and I have rented 12 different cabins and houses in 5 different states and never experienced such a disappointing vacation as the one we just returned from at your cabin in Broken Bow. Your website falsely advertises that the home has 2 King size beds, which is one of the main reasons we chose this home. It does not! The bedroom on the ground floor that has a queen size bed is absolutely impossible to have a good night's sleep. The bed has no foundation and sinks in the middle, so badly that they could feel the slats in the bed beneath them. They tried all other beds in the home but did not have one good night's sleep during our entire 4 night stay. The king size bed in the other room is not much better.The fireplace on the outside deck, upstairs in the home and downstairs in between the kitchen and living area do not work. When you turn the fireplace on in the bedroom downstairs with the king bed for more than 10 minutes, the carbon monoxide detector will go off. So basically, it is not possible to enjoy a fireplace with the exception of the firepit outside when you visit this home. In addition, the wiring is exposed on all of the indoor fireplaces making it extremely dangerous. I don't know why anyone with a family would rent this home since the PacMan game is partially broken and there was salt or sugar on the shuffle board game rather than sand like it should have, and there are no books or games provided unlike any other home we have rented.The hot tub lid is falling apart. It desperately needs to be replaced. We own a hot tub and have for more than 30 years, so we know how to take care of them and when something should be replaced. The directions indicated that bromine was left so that we could put it in the hot tub between the times that we got in it. When we reached out via email you indicated it was under the kitchen sink. There was no bromine left for us. We looked everywhere. The husband of the couple traveling with us fell out of his chair while sitting at the dining room table due to the fact that a screw had come out and the chair leg collapsed. Do you want to play Pac Man? Forget it! There are no chairs on which one can sit at the game which is upstairs and there are no chairs that one could move around upstairs to place in front of each playing side of the game. We would have to bring chairs from downstairs and they may not be the right height. In addition, the joystick on one side is broken and just has a metal stick so it would be incredibly uncomfortable to play the game. We wanted to play, but could not.The lighted mirror on the left side over the bathroom sink in the bathroom adjoining the room with the king size bed, does not work. Dishwasher: We were only left one pod for the dishwasher and were told we should have two. The wheels on one side of the bottom tray of the dishwasher are missing and makes pulling it out very difficult. Spices: We have never rented a cabin or house that did not include some spices. The salt was hard in the shaker so we only had pepper. Bowls for mixing: We had to buy some because there were none. We arrived on Thursday, contacted you on Friday and did not receive any assistance until after 1:00 PM on Saturday. That is poor service. The people that arrived to provide assistance with the hot tub, fireplaces and dining chairs simply provided bromine for the hot tub and replaced and tightened the screws on the dining room chairs. Both parties acknowledged that they were aware of the issues with the home and that repairs needed to be made.On our first trip to Broken Bow and cabin rental, we had no hot water and could not light the outdoor fireplace. The rental company sent assistance within a matter of a few hours and resolved the issues while they were there. So we had a delightful experience. Everything worked and the kitchen was truly well-stocked, which is how you advertise this cabin. DO NOT RENT THIS CABIN! It could be a lovely rental but definitely needs a lot of updates and repairs.

The Pac-Man arcade game is operational, and while arcade games are traditionally designed to be played standing, we recognize that seating would add convenience and comfort, so we will work on adding that option for future guests. We were unaware of the bed size discrepancy in the listing and appreciate you bringing it to our attention; the listing will be updated to accurately reflect the current setup. Our cleaning team delivered the requested chemicals the following day, and we do provide a welcome kit with dishwasher pods, though we do not stock additional pods or spices as part of our standard amenities. Bowls have already been ordered, and we are adding shuffleboard sand and board games to enhance the guest experience.
We also regret the delay in service response during your stay. While our team did arrive to address the hot tub chemicals and dining chair repair, we understand that the timing was not ideal and will work to improve responsiveness going forward. Your comments help us identify areas for improvement, and we are actively making updates to ensure Riverwood provides the relaxing, well-equipped experience our guests expect. Experiencia fantástica: Wow! What a phenomenal cabin and an exceptional getaway! This place is truly a home away from home, but with way better toys! We came here looking to relax and have fun, and this cabin delivered on both. We spent hours (seriously, hours!) in the multi-sport simulator. Being able to switch instantly between bowling, soccer, football, and baseball was such a unique and memorable feature—a real highlight of our stay. The golf simulator was also fantastic for getting some swings in. The rooftop is pure perfection. Relaxing in the hot tub and catching a game on the large TV up there was the ultimate way to unwind after a day of playing. The kitchen was perfectly equipped as well and we enjoyed cooking some meals. We did notice some construction happening nearby, but honestly, it was minor and didn't bother us at all. The peace and fun inside the cabin completely outweighed it. Thank you for providing such a luxurious and amenity-packed experience. We can't wait to book our next trip here!

Experiencia positiva: Very nice cabin. We had a great time relaxing playing games and being by the fire pit or fireplace. There's a few things that weren't quite up to par, but was little hindrance to us. The ice maker did not work, found that out the hard way. Turned it on and went to bed and woke up to a big puddle on the floor. Easily solved by getting bagged ice. There was not a light in the refrigerator but that wasn't really a big deal to us, we survived. The dishwasher top rack kept coming off the guide when pulled to load (we managed). There was a rug left in the washer and we did not find it until Wednesday and it was rather soured smelling. We washed it and let it dry. The hardest thing for us (we're all over 65) were the height of the beds. May I suggest that the height of the beds be listed in the description. It's not readily apparent in the pictures, at least not to me. Ohh, and the queen size bed was rather creaky. It's a really nice place and we were visited by the deer in the mornings while it was still quiet. All in all, a good relaxing time was had by everyone.

Only complaint is the kitchen was the bare minimum for cooking anything as well as not having any dish soap even though the dishwasher needed to be started prior to leaving. We had to borrow a dish soap from a neighbors condo. Customer service wasn’t any help with getting any soap either. Perfect for our group of 9. Easy check in and check out. Close location to Nashville, costs around $15 to Uber into Nashville.

Experiencia negativa: The Americana cabin has the potential to be a really spectacular cabin for a much needed getaway. The amenities are perfect for a large family or group of friends with 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom allowing for privacy. The large dining table on the main floor of the cabin is perfect for family game night or sitting around the fire reminiscing. The main floor deck allows for a beautiful view of the mountains, just below there is a deer feeder, where we watched numerous deer visit all day. However, there are numerous issues with the cabin that could be improved upon with minimal effort. On the first night of our getaway when we turned down our sheets to go to bed, we were absolutely appalled and disgusted to find 3 large stains on our sheets that were obviously bodily fluids, indicating the sheets had not been laundered between guests. In another bed, my parents found an earring in their sheets. I was traveling with my elderly parents, one of which is battling leukemia and is immunocompromised. After finding the stained sheets, I spent several hours on the second day of our stay washing sheets and cleaning to ensure surfaces were clean with the hopes my father would not get sick. While the outdoor furniture is perfect for the deck, the cushions are extremely moldy, forcing us to use towels over the cushions while we sat outside. The information provided by the host indicates that the hot tub is cleaned between guests, however when we opened the cover there was a significant amount of debris in the water, which swayed our decision to enjoy the hot tub as anticipated. The refrigerator is extremely dirty and really needs a deep clean. When I reached out to the host about the soiled sheets and provided pictures, the response I received was “I will send the pictures to the cleaning crew”. After our stay, I reached out to Airbnb regarding the above mentioned concerns with the cabin. As I write this post, they have not received a response from the host after reaching out to them with the concerns. When I was asked by the host to leave a 5⭐️ review, I once again explained my concerns to them stating with good conscience I could not do that, but have gotten no response, which in my opinion is unacceptable. Even with all the issues we had with the Americana, we had a really great family getaway and made memories that will be treasured.

Experiencia negativa: This place in Nashville Tennessee the "Songbird Suites - Sleeps 16 - Two Roofs w/ view" is not as advertised. There has been minimal upkeep of the location and the walls are all damaged, marked up and filthy. Beds were broken, smoke detectors were going off all night, windows would not open or close and one was stuck open. Pictures were smashed and left on the wall with broken glass , there were boot prints on the wall above the shower. How does that even happen , let alone get left there by the cleaner. Appliances were damaged or broken and the overall feeling of the place was one of neglect.

Experiencia negativa: Our family rented 2210 Woodcock Trail. I tried giving this company time to reach out to my father-in-law who paid over $8,000 for this dingy property that smelled like vomit. They will comment back to this saying they tried to make it right but they did not. Cole who is one of the property managers told us while we had it rented we would receive a call from who ever manages this company and they never called. I later found another review on this property that was made a few weeks prior to when we got there and they had similar complaints. So they clearly will not fix any issues that arise. Please do not rent from this company! They are dishonest, the listing is dishonest, and they are less than apologetic. They really just care about the money.

We used the hot tub alot as the pool was broken and we only got to use it 1 day of our stay, that was a huge bummer. The place needs some updates like new couches in the living room and the theater room as they are really worn and uncomfortable. The pool table needs leveled but we still used it. Be prepared the roads up to the cabin are narrow, have tight corners and up by the cabin are only big enough for 1 car. We enjoyed our time there with family but we wont stay here again. We stayed at Mountain Cascades.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great time in Broken Bow! The cabin was clean and gorgeous. Just what we needed for a vacation to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We had an issue with the internet not working and they were quick to send someone out to fix it. Usually, I wouldn’t have been bothered by no internet and would’ve embraced it as a time to unplug, but I had 2 small kids at home in Texas that I needed to be able to get ahold of or communicate with. The team sent someone out and it was fixed. If I had one maybe slightly negative thing to say about it it would be this…the cabin needs a pan to cook in instead of just pots, also a dish towel in the kitchen would be helpful. Also, all bathrooms need soap in the containers instead of soap at the bottom and filled with water to make it last longer. Not all bathrooms were like this, just one of them. These are not deal breaking negative things just some ideas that would be helpful. Overall, I would totally stay here again. It was luxurious, clean, quiet, safe, and overall a wonderful experience. Experiencia negativa: Our stay at this property was unfortunately impacted by several major issues that significantly affected our experience. Upon arrival, we discovered that the kitchen sink was backed up and not draining, and two of the stove burners were not functioning. The sofa pull-out mattresses were extremely thin and uncomfortable, making it feel as though we were sleeping directly on the springs. The cleanliness of the house was very poor. Throughout our stay, we also encountered three separate leaks. One leak originated from an upstairs shower and leaked through the floor into the downstairs pool area. Another leak came from an upstairs bathroom toilet, and the third was due to an AC malfunction, which caused water to leak from the downstairs bathroom into the pool. As a result, we were unable to safely use the pool for the remainder of our stay. There was a moldy board from the water damage that left wood splinters in the pool. Additionally, the bunk room—which accommodates seven guests—was directly affected by two of these leaks. This left all seven guests sharing a single remaining bathroom, and since the AC was not working properly, it was also the hottest room in the house. The host was responsive during our stay and communicated promptly regarding the reported issues. However, after our departure, communication completely ceased. We requested compensation for the multiple inconveniences we experienced and were told we would receive a response within 48 hours. After waiting over a week with no update, we ultimately had to escalate the issue to Airbnb. Airbnb handled the matter professionally and efficiently, but the same cannot be said for Unwind Luxury Vacations, whose lack of communication and customer service was extremely unprofessional. Overall, our experience was unsatisfactory, and I would not choose to stay at a property managed by Unwind Luxury Vacations again.

The cabin itself has potential, but maintenance issues like these should be identified and addressed before guests arrive. This experience was disappointing, and while we appreciated the communication and effort once Airbnb was involved, we would not choose to stay at this property again.

Experiencia negativa: We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately this cabin turned out to be a huge disappointment. The main AC unit downstairs never worked during our entire stay, leaving the whole level — especially the bunk room — unbearably hot and nearly impossible to sleep in. On top of that, the HVAC system leaked into the pool room bathroom, and one of the upstairs showers leaked directly into the pool below. We saw the water dripping, and when the ceiling was cut open, the wood was black, rotted, and moldy. Pieces of debris even fell into the pool, raising serious health and safety concerns. Several other issues added to the frustration, including multiple TVs and appliances that weren’t working. What made everything worse was the host’s complete lack of communication. They promised to respond within 48 hours after we checked out, but a week and a half later we still hadn’t heard anything. We ultimately had to reach out to Airbnb for help, and while Airbnb did step in and provide a partial refund, we never once heard back from the host. That silence made it clear they had no concern for our experience or well-being.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. 2210 Woodcock, also known as the Experience is not as it is advertised. We arrived to the place which smelled heavily of bleach, urine, and vomit. We were here to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. Seeing my mother upset with the horrible conditions of the cabin we saved and looked forward for months was not how we wanted their celebration to begin. My dad tried calling Unwind with no reply. We waited for hours for a call back with only them to send a text. We waited for hours for a response and they did not call us back to tell them our concerns. We had to relocate because it smelled so bad and was unsanitary. The photos in the listing are much nicer than the current condition of the house, which is deceptive advertising. Stains and rips in furniture and everything is worn down. The next day, we finally got to hem on the phone They told us the next day that their policy states no refunds for matters of cleanliness. They are not responsive nor will send any help when you call.This company made it a nightmare. I hope this review saves someone heartache and money. . This property is disgusting. Giving the cleaning fee is $1000, this place should have been spotless, but it was so gross. This property is horribly managed by Emelia, Cole, and Jakob.

It was in complete disrepair and smelled of urine and vomit. We didn’t get any response when calling their company which means they have a breach of contract and still denied our request for a refund. There was old vomit on the walls. The pool table was unusable. The volley ball court over run with weeds and the the pickleball court was used for parking. It was completely different and not a good representation of the property as advertised. The owner told us after trying to contact them for hours through the management company (finally got them through airbnb) and refused refund. We would have had to wait 24 hours for that and it’s not sanitary anymore or safe. We flew from Phoenix for this event and it was a huge disappointment to have this happen. So take this as a warning. NEVER rent from this company. Can’t wait to share more.

It’s truly breathtaking at sunrise and sunset! The location couldn’t be more convenient. It’s tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private, yet still just a short drive from the main roads and all the attractions in the area. It made exploring Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg so easy. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. You have to download an app to be able to access it and it only worked about half the time we were there even though we messaged ahead of time to make sure it was working because having a hot tub factored in to us in choosing this property. Only other complaint is that only two of the bedrooms had dressers. Would definitely recommend to the owners to put dressers in the other 4 bedrooms. The beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

There were a couple one offs, such as having neighbors partying and blaring loud music at all hours day and night. But that is not the beautiful cabins fault. There was basic feedback I provided such as towel quality, amount of trash bags / dishwasher pods for a place that has 20 bedrooms. Other than the little critiques, it was all together wonderful. We had an amazing relaxing time.

Experiencia fantástica: The house was just as pictured, and Zach quickly responded to our questions. The main floor TV remote was missing, but we were still able to AirPlay and cast content, and the other smart TVs worked well. The fire pit failed to ignite on the first evening; a technician came, but it was still difficult to use due to no spark. The property had plenty of seating, clean dishware, and two dishwashers—a huge plus. Pac-Man, shuffleboard, and mini-golf were great, and the indoor pool was fun but extremely loud, especially with the waterfall running. The hot tub was clean. As of 9-2025, construction next door began around 8 a.m. on weekdays. We were also woken by unscheduled roof work. The home showed signs of rushed construction, with unfinished trim, loose boards, and mislabeled switches. Overall, despite minor flaws, we would highly recommend it for large gatherings. It’s spacious, nicely decorated, and offers incredible views.

Bathroom towels very small. Hot tub cover really dirty. We had to clean it in order to use it. Nice home and location but the maintenance is not something I will recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful Luxury Cabin Getaway! We stayed 3 days and 2 nights at this beautiful luxury cabin in Oklahoma, and it was an amazing experience for our family of six. The home itself is stunning — spacious, comfortable, and tucked away in a peaceful, secluded area that gave us the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking meals together so convenient. There was even a gorgeous bathtub that we, unfortunately, didn’t get a chance to use because there was just so much to do nearby! Between the drive-through safari, exploring the state park, trying out local restaurants, and visiting nearby attractions, our days were full of adventure. Communication with the property manager was very easy and smooth, which made the whole experience even better. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back again in the future. Experiencia negativa: If you’re looking for a responsive, supportive, and trustworthy company, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. We booked the Thunder Mountain property (formerly Sierra Springs) in Tennessee through VRBO. Initially, we were excited. But about a month before check-in, we started receiving confusing messages and were asked to sign a second contract through a separate guest portal. The contract was lengthy, yet missing key information—like names, location, and total cost. When I reached out to clarify, I was told this was “standard,” even with the blanks. When we arrived Sunday evening, we noticed right away that the views did not match what was shown on the VRBO listing. Still, we tried to give the benefit of the doubt and move forward. By Monday, serious issues began to pile up: the refrigerator started making an incredibly loud noise that kept us up for two nights, we found a large hole in the deck, and one of the showers had barely any water pressure. We reported all of this using their email-only system—which was frustrating in itself. There was no way to speak to anyone directly, and we had no idea what was being done or when. After two days of back-and-forth emails, I was finally able to reach someone by phone on Wednesday. Shockingly, they didn’t have a full list of our reported issues and said they were having trouble locating an appliance repair tech. For a property management company, this is unacceptable. The fridge wasn’t fixed until late Wednesday, after several appointment delays. The repair took hours and led to food spoilage since the fridge had to be emptied. The deck and shower were not addressed until Thursday. While a few managers we spoke with did apologize and acknowledged the disruptions, we were told our complaints would be reviewed by their “resolutions” team after our stay. We’ve sent multiple follow-up emails and left voicemails. No one has responded. Not a single reply. We don’t expect to hear back at this point, but we’re leaving this review so others are aware. Based on our experience, I would not recommend booking with Unwind.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a five star family reunion at Sky View at Table Rock Lake in Branson, Mo. The house we rented from Unwind was perfect! We were 11 people ranging in age from 10 to 78 and the house had everything we needed and then some! Everyone loved the beds and the bathrooms were roomy and well appointed. The hot tub and pool table were big hits and our son, an executive chef had everything he needed to whip up fantastic meals. Unwind was incredibly responsive to a few minor needs. Their maintenance man, Andy was beyond helpful. Can’t say enough about the stay….will rent from Unwind again for sure!

The cabin is rustic, spacious, well kept and located near many attractions in the Sevierville area. The cabin is nestled in the hillside not far from the main road, but far enough to not hear traffic. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again in the future. Experiencia negativa: I may have just caught this property at the wrong time. This cabin was beautiful, nothing about it needed adjustments. The communication through Unwind and the expectations were not what I expected. Any early check ins were asked to pay $200/hour - I've never experienced that before. The management was unresponsive when messaging over email or trying to get any answers for things. There was a mouse in one of the rooms as well. Normally all dirty towels can stay in the bathrooms but we were asked to bring all dirty towels to the main floor which I thought was odd especially considering two of the floors had washing machines. Again its a beautiful place very spacious but I probably will not book again due to excess fee expectations and lack of clear communications.

Experiencia positiva: Stillwater - Sleeps 26 - Lake View - Indoor Pool Our family stayed 4 nights in Stillwater-rented through Marriott Villas. This isn’t our first time using Marriott to rent a home ( I enjoy the elite perks) , but it is our first time experiencing what Id call less than luxury. The house needs serious maintenance and updates to even remotely qualify worthy of this price range. There were stains on the carpet, the plastic liners in the showers were orange, towels were worn and sets were pieced together. The mattress was awful and the bedding was not even Walmart quality- with only 2 pillows per king bed. Kitchen cabinet doors were off their hinges, pots and pans were scratched and missing protective enamel, and bags of food were left in the cabinets from previous guests. The home needs significant repairs and maintenance (bath tub didn’t hold water, ping pong balls and paddles broken, front door needs painting, sink drains need deep cleaning. Additionally, the community amenities are not as described. The play ground is one strong wind from blowing over. There is a tunnel on the highest point, leading to the slide, that is caved in leaving no safety rails and a dangerous fall risk. The splash pad in the indoor pool area is not functioning appropriately and missing 2 of the 3 fountains- which forces the water out of the functional fountain at a very powerful rate- enough to knock a child to the ground, and there is an electrical wire floating freely in the water underneath the waterfall in the outdoor pool. Normally, I don’t take the time to write reviews, but I was really put off when the property management company emailed asking for a 5 star review and asked to be contacted directly if we were going to leave anything less than that. It was followed with an implication that we would also be receiving a review from them. I have zero problem paying for luxury, but I have a real problem when things aren’t as advertised. Would not recommend.

Property managers were friendly and responsive with communication but there were problems with check-in time and such, blamed on new property management software. House was spacious and well equipped. Kitchen was excellent with seating and counter space to die for. Bedrooms were good size with very nice bathrooms. Screened-in deck was great. Game room and shared pool were very popular. Proximity to state park with great marina was a nice bonus. Everyone loved our stay. But the details. Towel bar and towel ring falling off walls. Burned out or missing light bulbs. Kitchen rug taped together (caused tripping) and covered an HVAC floor vent. Pocket door off its rail. Some slow-draining bathroom sinks. Screened-in deck not screened underneath the gapped decking (presumably allowing our wasp in from below). Official limit of 4 parking spots (for a property touting space for 36). Compared to the big picture, these were inconveniences but subtract a rating star.

Experiencia negativa: We were asked to send an email directly to the company if we were not posting a 5 star review, but never received a response, so here is what we sent Unwind Luxury Vacations about our stay at "The Experience" in TN. Here are some of the issues we encountered: The home has a general lack of maintenance and upkeep that makes it look very different from your photos- I’m attaching pictures of holes in walls, electrical outlets falling out of the ceiling, a cabinet door falling off, shower drains popped out of the floor, missing window coverings, etc. In several cases, it looks like someone cut out a piece of drywall to repair a pipe and just left the hole or shoved the piece of drywall back in the hole. It was far from the “Ritz Carlton” comparison you make and the description of a “touch of opulence.” In fact, it often felt more like a frat house or college dorm. We had to hang a sheet over the one door window pane in a lower level bedroom for privacy because that roller shade was missing. The bunk room in that part of the house has a pipe draining something into the floor right next to the beds. It made one of the teens so uncomfortable, he slept in the theater room for a week. There’s also no door to that room (it’s really an unfinished mechanical space of the basement, not a bedroom) and the cloud ceiling has long been pulled down. There are amenities listed or depicted in your photos that are not present in the home including the gas fire tables on the deck and the movie screen in the pool area. The outdoor area is not maintained well- there are weeds everywhere at the bottom of the slide and the sand volleyball court is nothing but hard dirt, rocks and weeds making it unusable. We had to contact your company to request to have the lawn mowed when we first arrived because there were areas of the grass around the fire pit over a foot tall. While this is not a maintenance issue, we were disappointed that the basketball court/pickleball space are not usable if you have the driveway full of cars which is nearly impossible to avoid with a driveway that barely fits 5 cars at a house for 26 people. In the game room, the skee ball machine has a large piece of plastic broken from the covering so balls fly out when you roll them. The basketball game no longer keeps score. A broken pool stick was lying in the room upon arrival. The Keurig in the kitchen does not work, which would not have been a problem if we had planned to use the regular coffee maker. But everyone bought k-cups so we had to spend money to purchase 12 coffees the first morning we were there and then go out later to purchase ground coffee. We tried to use the hot tub once and it immediately started leaking water from the bottom when we turned on the jets so we didn’t use it anymore. Some of the showers are designed with no wall or door at the front where the shower head is so water ran all over the floor during each shower which meant tons of soaked towels and laundry loads to keep the floors dry. The deck furniture was covered with moldy/mildewy cushions that stayed wet for days after a brief rain shower so this space was mostly unusable for the week. Sure, we could have contacted you about these things while we were there but we would have been sending emails daily and we were on vacation, trying to relax and detach from tech and many of the issues would not be deemed emergencies or quick fixes. We did send an email the first day about a few things. The grass did get cut, but no one came to fix the cabinet door that was falling off or more importantly the missing roller shade that left a couple with no privacy in their bedroom. Overall, the house had a lot of potential but it’s as if the photos on your site are 20 years old and nothing has been repaired or maintained since they were taken. For the price we paid, and our experience, we did expect more from this rental and were actually excited to return to our homes which is something I never say on vacation. We hope you will address these concerns for other renters.

Experiencia negativa: Bed Bug Infestation - Company Refuses Full Refund Despite Health Hazard I stayed at an Unwind Luxury Vacation Rentals property in Hollister, Missouri managed by their Little Rock, Arkansas office. Our experience was a complete nightmare due to a severe bed bug infestation. The Problem: • Guests were bitten by bed bugs every single night of our stay. This wasn't realized until the third night where it occurred to us to look for bed bugs. We had just figured it was mosquito bites since we were outside every day and evening. • Property was clearly infested from day one, though we didn’t identify the source immediately • Had to find emergency alternative accommodations mid-trip Company Response: Despite clear evidence that the bed bugs were present throughout our entire stay, Unwind only offered a partial refund for the nights after we reported the issue. Their reasoning: they “need proof” and can only refund from when issues are “reported.” This policy completely ignores that bed bug infestations don’t appear overnight - they were in the property when we arrived. The company expects guests to be pest control experts to receive fair treatment. Customer Service: • Stopped returning phone calls • Accused customers of potentially lying to get refunds • Maintained unreasonable policies despite clear health hazard • Treated a serious health and safety issue like a minor maintenance problem Bottom Line: Unwind Luxury Vacation Rentals failed to provide basic habitability standards and then refused to take responsibility when confronted with evidence of their property’s condition. Their policies prioritize protecting their revenue over guest health and safety. Would not recommend. There are many other vacation rental companies that stand behind their properties and treat customers fairly when serious issues arise.

At that time, we followed our established procedures, including issuing a refund in accordance with our policy.
While we regret that your vacation was disrupted, our policies are in place to ensure fairness and transparency for all guests. Because the issue was not reported until midway through your stay, and there was no prior indication of a problem, we were unable to offer a full refund for the nights already spent in the property.

Experiencia positiva: The views were million dollar views. But for the price we paid which was almost $6k the pool table was broken and other gaming equipment was broken. There were holes in the wall dusty vents and trash still underneath the bed. The pool was great but the tv in the pool room was not working and the water pressure was so low you really couldn’t shower. The doorknobs on the second floor bedroom and bathroom were super loose and the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms didnt work with the remote. The host was great and responded quickly and had maintenance come fix the door knobs. I would have given this a 5 stars if it had been the luxurious experience we were hoping for.

Experiencia positiva: 1. Cleaning…while the overall appearance of the cabin was tidy, there were a few big items…the hot tub smelled like mold and therefore was not used which was a huge disappointment for our family, the jetted tub had visible hair in the return and also in the jets- also not used. Oily cabinets above the microwave, dirty mugs in cabinet, and there is a large pot that was burned on the bottom which I discovered when I pulled it out of the cabinet to use it. There is a cleaning fee that you tacked onto my reservation that should cover these prior to arrival, so I shouldn’t have to clean the cabin when I get there or find dirty items in the cabinets. Your cleaning crew should be checking these things and not depending on the prior guests to have cleaned. 2. Privacy/safety - I felt very uneasy not having any shade/covering on the front door and also the automatic light timer outside was too short to allow for people to get out of their car and make it to the door before it turned off. 3. Upkeep - the carpets are looking worn and dingy, the pool table had rips in the felt and the BBQ could use an upgrade (these are just little upkeep things that would help but didn’t bother me as much as the top 2 items) Now for the positives… 1. Without a doubt, the view from the cabin is breathtaking. I wish there was more seating on the deck but it’s understandably a tight squeeze. 2. The kitchen had all the necessities needed and in ample supply so that was also a plus for me but I would suggest maybe having a general inventory list to share with guest prior to arrival so they know what is available to them. 3. Guest toiletries/cleaning items are a nice touch. Overall our stay was pleasant and enjoyable but not necessarily 5 stars.

Experiencia negativa: Wow. Negative stars deserved, We stayed in a Nashville TN. A nice 3 bedroom condo. The troubles started right away. We arrived a little after 4pm, Spent the next 4.5 hours trying to get in contact with someone that manages this condo. The Unwind service number is just a call center that only passes on your issues. Called the service center 5 times each time different person on the phone and same result we don't have any info on someone that manages the property we were at. The issues included garage full of construction materials & garbage, half the lights were missing light bulbs throughout the condo, 1 bed was missing sheets & blankets, roof top deck had boards sticking up everywhere, the entire condo was dirty. The rules stated must park in garage, which was impossible. So we waited to unload the car until we had a solution to the garage issue. 4.5 hours and 5 phones call later we were given a solution of parking in another condos garage until they could get our cleaned out. Now almost 9pm we finally get in the condo. We stayed 4 days no one came to clean out the garage or fix other issues. Walking between 2 condos just to come and go was absurd also worried the whole time that we would get locked out the other condo with our vehicle inside. We were never given an apology or reason as to why all the issues were never resolved. Unwind Luxury Vacation will never get our business again.

Experiencia fantástica: My and my Brother’s family spent the last week in this beautiful home! There were 9 of us and it was perfect for all of us, including the kids ranging from 16-8! The views were spectacular, it’s close and convenient to your grocery store. We did a pick-up delivery from Walmart when we got there which was super convenient. I would definitely book this house again especially if my son decides to go to North Georgia University because it was so close! Experiencia fantástica: My family and I had a beautiful stay in Blue Ridge, GA. The cabin had a gorgeous view! And it was better than the pictures, which rarely happens. Everything was clean, and the smell reminded me of the W hotel which a good thing :). The beds were really comfy, and the sheets were nice and soft. We will definitely be going back!

Experiencia fantástica: We had the BEST time at our family retreat at this beautiful cabin! The internet was spotty in the mountains, but that was a BLESSING to reconnect with each other and encourage our teens to have fun! We even were (safely) able to experience the natural wildlife in the backyard! I would return every year! Our entire experience was fantastic!!!!!!
