Due to the unexpected death of my mother, I was found now in charge to take care of my grandmothers/my mother’s childhood home. They were very patient with me as I had to navigate this new world of selling a home as the Executor of my mom’s estate. All to be said, the Fraser Team did an impeccable job of marketing this house to buyers that it went into a bidding war and was under contract within 3 days! When we saw houses with Emily we never felt pressured into making any rash decisions. Emily’s always calm and relaxed, offering helpful insight and advice when viewing homes. Experiencia fantástica: TL;DR: the whole Fraser team is very responsive, and well equipped to find anyone a home in the Pittsburgh area. I felt as informed and comfortable as a first time homebuyer could ask for. Would recommend! ---- Story: I emailed Emily very early on in my family's first home search to tour one of her listings, but the home wasn't a great match. I mentioned we weren't ready to invest a ton of time in finding a home yet. The communication after that was respectful and courteous; I wasn't inundated with emails, but it also felt like Emily cared enough to check in. I came to learn about her team and decided they had more to offer me than some other realtors I had been speaking with. With this being our first house, we had a lot of questions about the process. While I'd still recommend anyone to try and do some homework on their own, it often felt like a duplication of efforts as the Fraser team was a comprehensive guide. In the TL;DR I mentioned they were responsive, before we put in our first offer, we were pretty nervous. We didn't want to buy the wrong house and also afraid the house we were eyeing was going to come off the market. After our initial walk through, Savannah and Kristen were able to fill in last minute for Emily and allow me to tour the home twice more. Emily and Savannah also answered a fair number of questions and emails on nights, holidays and weekends. Lastly, I'll say that I was very happy with all of their professional connections. I was in contact with a handful of their recommended contractors to get inspections / quotes and would recommend any of them. I shopped lenders and went with Emily's recommendation (which was head and shoulders above the others). I didn't shop title companies, but we didn't have any complains with Emily's recommendation there either.

Experiencia fantástica: Update: my original review still stands but I would add that it’s important to know what real estate agents are expected to flag. Our landscaping post move in was over $10K to remove dead trees and poisonous Yew bushes as well as potentially needing a new retainer wall ($30K plus, which apparently almost every property in Pittsburgh has some kind of retaining wall) that wasn’t flagged in our inspection or with our agent and coming from the city had no way of knowing to ask. That’s where you would need to rely on local professionals to guide you. *Review: We decided to move to Pittsburgh from Manhattan when we received our lease renewal - so not much time (4 weeks!) to really plan and get to know the area before plunging in with a home purchase. To add more complexity, we also had a 3 week international trip prebooked right in the middle of our timeline. I googled agents, as we didn't know anyone in the area. When we came across Emily's profile we crossed checked it with the reviews and social media as well as her bio and team's bio... again we were on a short timeline so we didn't have time to jump around with agents looking for the right fit. BUT it all worked out because Emily and Sal were efficient, professional, always responsive, and knowledgable. Emily also has an extensive network of service providers (handyman, electrician, inspector) that came in handy for our inspection list post move in. They were even gracious enough to let the radon mitigation system people in post close while we were away on our trip. Highly recommend!
