Experiencia fantástica: Good evening, I was asked to type up a review about our experience with Alta Edwards who handled the realtor process for my grandparents. I will start by saying Alta is a perfect example of what it looks like when a person has mastered their craft. She should be emulated by others if they hope to reach their full potential. In the middle of last year we contacted Alta about wanting to possibly sell my grandparents’ home. She met with my grandmother and grandfather to discuss the transition to an assisted living facility and how she hoped she could assist with their home selling needs. Unfortunately, shortly after my grandmother passed away. Obviously, this caused major changes in how we moved forward. Our family was in disarray, and we had to quickly find lodging for my uncle, who was a caretaker, and my grandfather. Alta went above and beyond to help me track down resources and locations that I could check into for their well being and lodging. With her help, I was able to find locations for both my grandfather and my uncle to live. She also went out of her way to send me details of a legal representative she had met at an expo because I had mentioned one time that I was looking to assist my grandfather with legal needs following my grandmother’s passing. The fact that she remembered this little detail several weeks later is very telling of Alta’s caring nature. She continued to reach out to check on my grandfather, mother, uncle, and I over the next few weeks to make sure we were okay and to inquire if we needed anything. Other organizations who had handled things for my grandparents for years didn’t even do that. But Alta did. Then we began the process of needing to sell my grandparent’s home. Alta again went beyond what was expected to help us get the home in sellable condition. Even assisting my mother, who has been down with a significant injury, with painting and cleaning several areas of the home. As we continued to work to get the house ready for listing, the area was hit with a snowstorm and sub-freezing temperatures for several weeks in a row. Alta helped us by offering to go by their home and check to make sure no pipes were damaged during the freezing event. When the home finally went up for sale, Alta would drive across town to my grandfather’s new assisted living facility as he has a hard time with travel. Following signing paperwork, she would make a point to chat with my grandfather for a while to help take him mind off losing my grandmother. She even brought him his favorite snacks to eat during closing so he would feel more comfortable during all the necessary paperwork. Mrs. Edwards’ candor, caring, and professionalism reminds me of how businesses used to be. When organizations and employees really cared about their customers and went out of their way to make sure everyone was satisfied and well cared for. Her professionalism and subject matter expertise in real estate is evident. But her willingness to go above and beyond what is typical is where she really stands out. She should be teaching a master class that anyone working in real estate would benefit from taking. Thank you Alta for helping our family through a year of difficulty. It would have been so much harder without your help. I sincerely hope your leadership reads this and understands what a gem of a person they have employed in their organization. Thank you again! We felt her warm and kind approach was exactly what we needed, as we were uncertain at times of what exactly we were getting into, as expected with these kinds of things. That helped us feel fairly confident that we would eventually find the home we wanted. From the start to the end, there were some unprecedented issues that came up- completely no fault of hers, as it was seller + house-related, and Lane was quick to try to amend these issues to the best of her capabilities. She was very caring and went above and beyond what we had ever expected, and we truly felt looked after, not only in an agent & buyer relationship, but outside of that as well. With that said on her kindness, Lane WILL fiercely advocate for you as her client, and persists when she sees it fit. We so appreciated having someone looking out for our best interest in that way, as it is not always known whether both parties always have the best intentions in mind. When it came to closing day she surprised us with very thoughtful gifts, taking note of our interests and choosing to show us in that way that she was always attuned to our needs and wants.
