We are seasoned home buyers, having bought and sold 34 properties over the past 38 years, including 20 years as landlords of eight properties. With that level of experience, we do not offer praise lightly — and Jake is, quite frankly, the best buyer’s agent we have worked with. We specifically wanted someone local who understood the nuances of buying in California and could guide us through the unique aspects of new construction and builder-driven processes. I first met Jake at an open house in Temecula. Although that particular floor plan did not meet our needs — and after a discouraging experience with another agent — I was immediately impressed by Jake’s knowledge, professionalism, and thoughtful follow-up. One of Jake’s unique strengths is his background in the solar industry prior to becoming a licensed Realtor. Because solar was included in our new home and was unfamiliar territory for us, his expertise proved extremely valuable. He was able to explain, evaluate, and advocate in ways that gave us clarity and confidence. More importantly, Jake shows up. He answers his phone. He listens. He works diligently to help buyers navigate the increasingly complex, vertically integrated processes many builders use today. During our purchase, my work schedule shifted significantly, and our family experienced both a death and the loss of a beloved pet. It was a demanding season. Throughout it all, Jake remained steady, accessible, and solution-oriented. As we approached closing, when the builder’s selected team failed to provide a required coverage protection letter, Jake stepped in immediately and secured the proper documentation, complete with authorized signatures, within hours. That moment alone could have derailed the closing — and it did not, because he took ownership and resolved it. He attended every meeting we had with the builder and participated in multiple calls with the builder’s team to keep the process moving. Candidly, without Jake’s steady guidance and perspective — especially near the finish line — we likely would have walked away from the home due not to the home, but the frustration with the builder's "our way or the highway"....mindset. What buyers truly need is someone knowledgeable, available, and capable of moving the process forward when it stalls. Jake embodies that. If he works this hard for buyers, I can only imagine the level of advocacy he provides sellers. Experiencia negativa: My experience with this real estate agency started off positive, but unfortunately ended with a significant amount of frustration. During my home purchase, I relied on the inspector referred to me through the agency. One year after closing, I discovered a major roof leak, and a roofing professional determined that the underlayment had more than likely been failing for years and showed visible signs that could have been noticed during the buying process. While I understand that real estate agents can’t control every aspect of a home inspection, I expected more support and guidance when such a large issue was uncovered. I reached out hoping the agency would help facilitate communication with the seller or at least acknowledge the severity of what was missed, but the response felt dismissive and didn’t offer any meaningful assistance. The process left me feeling like once the sale closed, the level of care dropped dramatically. Buying a home is a major investment, and in my opinion, first time buyers should be encouraged to get specialized inspections—especially for roofs—rather than relying solely on general home inspectors. The staff was polite, but based on the outcome and the lack of support afterward, my experience was ultimately disappointing. I recommend that future buyers be proactive in getting additional professional inspections to avoid costly surprises and understand that this agency seems to not care about previous customers.

His conduct raises serious concerns about integrity and professionalism in real estate. He has been reported to the DRE by my wife and I and they are currently investigating his actions. If you value transparency, honesty, and proper representation, I strongly recommend avoiding doing business with him.

Experiencia negativa: Hi Tyson. A friend recommended Gavin to me to rent my house. I know you are his boss. Gavin's work was terrible. He had the house for more than 60 days and he couldn't rent it. The communication with him it was the worst. He never proposed alternatives to expedite the rental of the house. I sent him emails that he never answered. I spoke with my friend to see if he could help me and I think he talked to you. I waited another week and nothing changed. I decided to change agents. The new agent put the ad up last Tuesday, received many calls on Wednesday, showed the house on Thursday and on Friday we already had 3 applications to choose who we would rent the house to. We chose one of them and they moved on Sunday. All this happened in 5 days. They rented it for the same price that Gavin had it for. The most frustrating thing about this and why I am writing to you is that many of those who called the new agent had tried to speak with Gavin and were unsuccessful. Furthermore, one of those who came to see the house on Thursday had made an appointment with Gavin to see the house and he never showed up for the appointment. I cannot understand how you can act in this way and cause this harm (Maybe I would not have had to pay 2 months of mortgage) I hope this message is helpful so that you can offer a better service.

Out of a stressful time, Heron knew the ups and downs to certain cities and neighborhoods we were looking at. These included anything to do with taxes, HOA and the zoning areas that we’re going to fit our needs. He was always there answering the phone whenever we called or texted him as opposed to Realtors.
