Despite that decision, Joey and Andrew remained friendly and professional, willing to move forward if the previous agreement broke down. They held onto the contract until the last minute and then cancelled the transaction just before closing, effectively keeping us from selling the home in the meantime. Finally after multiple communications we were told that they were dropping their offer by $40,000.00. They went from highest offer to lowest. Andrew is a reseller and reserves the right to pull out of any deal. They also had the title company send the earnest money back to them. When we tried to call after all of this, the number was no longer in service. Crooks. Look elsewhere if you want to deal with someone you can trust.

Experiencia negativa: I miss good businesses with integrity. Most companies today are so greedy, it's gross. I am a widow with three kids who has been on a really rough road for a while. I was open minded when reaching out to Andrew and was aware that I was getting a lowball offer. That's what his business does. Please don't hope for a fair offer. Please don't believe the commercial where Andrew says he will come to your house. He does not. Misleading advertising. Sometimes in life, we have to accept great loss. I understand loss very well. I would like to say I am happy and that Andrew the Home Buyer helped my family out of a desperate situation. Instead, I am left realizing he is just like the majority of businesses today who could care less about the people they are profiting from. I was not initially told, nor was I aware my septic would need inspection. Conner (Andrew's associate) said he forgot to mention it but it wasn't a big deal and would only be $500. It ended up being close to $2,000 but I had to just accept the loss and the added stress of an unexpected expense. Andrew's company also holds $10,000 back until you hand over the keys. Conner explained this upfront stating $10,000 is the amount it will cost to sue homeowners who refuse to leave the home past the contracted date. Understandable if dealing with that type of situation. It happens. But, If you request an extra week due to weather (heavy rain/mud on a desert property during moving week), unexpectedly increased mold sensitivities due to underlying health issues making it difficult & expensive to navigate packing, a moving company cancelling outright, another changing dates last minute, and an attempted suicide in the family to top it all off -don't expect Andrew to be reasonable or understanding. He will charge you $1,000 for that one week and act like they are doing you a favor by not keeping the whole $10,000. When the moving company is delayed leading into Sunday (ONE day past expected final day), he will charge you another $1000 and again remind you that they could keep the whole $10,000 so they are doing you a favor. That hurts my children and me A LOT. $4,000 less than expected means a lot more to us than someone making a huge profit off of my family's home. Especially with the added expenses this all created on my end. I tried reasoning with Andrew himself over the phone to no avail. Cynthia, his associate who oversees ensuring that you vacate your home, is one of the most unsympathetic persons I have ever conversed with. My advice is to understand thoroughly what you are getting in to with this type of sale: Andrew will be giving you a very lowball offer and don't expect them to be helpful or care if life throws uncontrollable events at you. This business just wants the profit they will make off your home. Period. Sad.

Gentleman called me who was going to put together the contract and I asked him I said is there anyway I can get more from my house and I told me amount and he said yeah that will still work so we wrote the contract for that amount four days later, the gentleman that came to my home told me that they couldn’t accept that offer that one of his superiors told me he could do well they had already given me $10,000 upfront for a medical procedure so I couldn’t really argue with them so they took that one away and made it down to the original well in a way that sort of pissed me off a few days past and I called seven times to have the person that I talk to you about the sale on my home that came to my home to call me no response whatsoever so I called six times and I said I would like to talk to Andrew, the homebuyer again no response whatsoever Andrew, the homebuyer stating in his commercial close in five days well it took almost 2 1/2 weeks so I called the company out on that and they said well that wasn’t us because of the delay so at the Closing they told me that they were holding $10,000 back till I moved out of the house to make sure that there was no damage on the house. Well that was never explained to me and I thought that for sure that they would tell me that when I signed the contract, but that should be that should’ve been told to me so I made contact with the girl that was in charge of making sure that everything went through she sent me an email to email her back when I was out of the house and then she would submit for the $10,000 to be released and she told me it’d be between five and seven days. Well on day six I called the company where the money was coming from and they said all they were waiting for was somebody to call them to tell them that I was out of the house once they receive that call the money was deposited in my account within two hours with all the problems I had on this with them offering me more money for my home which I signed a contract on that was taken away and nobody returned any of my calls. Andrew, the homebuyer is not a reputable person. Basically I feel that I got screwed and I really wish that I could afford a lawyer because I have all this in writing so watch out because what they tell you is not gonna be true sometimes and they’ll always make an excuse. No one‘s gonna return the calls that you’ve asked to talk to Even the owner of the company so if I’ve already made notification and filed a complaint at the state of Arizona, I’ve already sent some paperwork over to the Better Business Bureau and I’m also in the process of contacting every Chamber of Commerce in the area that Andrew, the homebuyer advertises in so watch out watch out to me this company is a joke they’re liars and they definitely don’t follow up.

Experiencia positiva: We reached out to them about a cash offer. An agent came to our house, was kind and evaluated our property. The offer was about $110-$120k lower then what we would list it for. I thought that the offer would offset the closing costs and make the take home at least kind of close to selling retail, but not close at all. They are investors and looking to make their money. Nothing wrong with that just know the offer is going to be much lower than listing.

They responded quickly - which was appreciated - and were prepared to schedule an appointment within a few days. So the process was quick and easy. However, on the phone call, it was explained that their offer price is generally 75%-80% of the home's value. While that may work out OK for lower priced homes, it's a big chunk of cash to walk away from - far more than a home seller would pay in fees to an agent, etc. Overall, this is probably a great option for someone who wants/needs to sell quickly and who doesn't mind getting quite a bit less for their home. If that doesn't fit your needs, the traditional route is probably better.
