Experiencia fantástica: Rocket money! it’s not real in the long-term sense. The rocket tech money in Huntsville is mostly short-term federal contracts and temporary contractor jobs tied to specific NASA/DoD programs (Artemis, SLS, missile defense upgrades). Those programs have big budgets right now, but they’re lumpy: big spend for a few years, then cuts or delays when milestones shift or politics change. Real numbers (late 2025): - Median household income in Huntsville metro is still around sixty-five to seventy k. - Only about fifteen to twenty percent of jobs are direct aerospace/defense, and many of those are contractor positions that can vanish when a contract ends. - The transplants chasing the boom are often on three-to-five-year assignments with relocation packages. When the assignment ends, they leave or get laid off. So the high-end buying frenzy (all-cash offers, 385k houses) is being driven by a relatively small group with temporary fat paychecks and corporate moving money. It’s not broad-based wage growth that can sustain those prices forever. When the current big contracts wind down (expected mid-to-late 2020s), or if there’s another budget fight in DC, that cash flow dries up fast. We’ve seen it before: early 2010s post-shuttle layoffs hit Huntsville hard. Prices stagnated for years. Bottom line: the rocket money is real today, but it’s not permanent. It’s inflating the top of the market, not the foundation. That’s why houses listed at 385k will eventually have to come down to what local incomes can actually carry.

He was flexible to meet us for house hunting, especially when we had some last minute requests. He never rushed us, and was so patient and understanding of our situation since he too had moved out of state and was familiar with the experience. He answered all of our questions and gave us some great and honest feedback to help us make the right choice. While the home was in escrow, we were getting ready to remodel the kitchen, and he kindly took measurements for us since we couldn’t be there in person to do it - twice! The sellers were not easy to work with and even at the end failed to make good on an agreed-open repair. Ben arranged for his painter to take care of the fix and that was so unexpected and appreciated. All together, his work ethic, kindness, and experience, helped make this process much less stressful and got us the home we wanted.

Notice how Matt will only reply to less than positive reviews calling them fake (because he cannot fathom that his own customers disagree with his nasty support of a man who called "Civil rights a mistake", said that "public executions should be brought back and made mandatory" (ironic), that black people "stole" the spots of white men.. the list goes on.
