Fantastic experience: George Krischke did a great job for us, working hard. Because we only had a vague sense of what we were looking for, he took us to many spots until we decided on our place. During difficult negotiations, with both sides dug in, he found a way through the impasse. Once we were under contract and even after the close, George found people to do inspections and repairs. I recommend him heartily.

Negative experience: Review for Tanner Bolts This review is meant to serve as a cautionary warning to anyone considering hiring Tanner Bolts. Based on our experience, potential clients should be aware of his lack of responsiveness, substandard service, and apparent lack of concern for clients who may not fit his ideal profile. Please proceed carefully. Our experience with Tanner Bolts was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, he was unresponsive, requiring constant follow-up from us. He wasted our time, and my husband even had to take time off work and use a vacation day to be present for a photographer who came to take pictures of our unit. The photographer told my husband that the photos would be ready and sent to Tanner Bolts on Wednesday, September 17, in the afternoon. Yet, by Friday, September 19, I still had not received them, so I had to text Tanner Bolts to ask where the pictures were. He never responded. I asked a colleague if I was being unreasonable, and she said no. Based on what I shared with her, she inferred that Tanner Bolts might not care about clients who don’t fit his ideal profile ($$$), though of course he has no idea about our finances. On Monday, September 22, I emailed Tanner Bolts to inform him that we would not be moving forward with him and were choosing another realtor who was more responsive to our needs. He initially responded briefly, offering the photos. Instead of attempting to restore trust by calling to resolve the issue, his response was cavalier and dismissive, which only made me more angry. I then sent him a second email, clearly stating that his lack of responsiveness and failure to follow through was highly unprofessional, and that his excuse regarding personal matters did not justify the poor service or lack of integrity we experienced. Only after this second email did Tanner Bolts send a longer, detailed apology explaining personal matters and attempting to make amends. He also called twice, which I did not answer. This demonstrates that he waited until someone confronted him before taking responsibility or offering excuses and apologies. By that point, the trust had already been broken, and his responses did nothing to restore it. Although Tanner Bolts is a new licensed realtor (since 2020), being new is no excuse for poor communication or lack of professionalism. As a self-employed business owner myself, I expect honesty, accountability, and basic respect in any business interaction. If Tanner Bolts wants continued success, he must remember to treat clients the way he would want to be treated. Although Tanner Bolts did eventually send an apology and call twice, the lack of responsiveness, repeated follow-ups required on our part, and cavalier attitude made it impossible to recommend him. Based on this experience, I am giving 2 stars.

Fantastic experience: George is the man for real estate in Honolulu. He's knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and has proven to be reliable and trustworthy through the relationship I developed with him as I searched for a second home in the Waikiki area. He was generous with his help and guidance as I researched apartments on the market. He gave me honest opinions on the potential benefits and risks of each aspect of my real estate considerations. When I found a place that fit my goals, he guided me through the processes involved, all the way through the close- like a smooth operator.

Negative experience: I stayed 5 nights at Keauhou Surf & Racquet #181 and was very disappointed. The condo is poorly maintained, and several issues made my stay uncomfortable: ant infestation in the kitchen, lights and fans only working from the breaker, shutters in the master bedroom stuck closed (I had to track down a maintenance worker myself to pry them open since management never answered my calls), scratched cookware, no air conditioning (making it unbearably hot at night), and paint chips in the guest room. This property fell far below what was advertised and did not provide the quality or comfort expected. I cannot recommend it until major improvements are made.

Negative experience: Rented from George Krischke, an absolute cheap scam. After a year of renting: NO management on building site. NO Parking security. Rarely available in case of an emergency. You're on your own. These property managers are not responsible. Security deposit will take months to be returned.

Fantastic experience: We finally did it!!!! We worked with Tracey Yamato at Hawaii Living to get through one of the most confusing processes I've ever been a part of... WOW! Thank goodness for Tracey! Buying a home has been a dream but the actual process is WAY more involved than you might imagine. It can takes months of scouring properties before finding the home you love and only then does the real work begin. Deadlines, paperwork, inspections, contractors to schedule, do's, don'ts etc. etc. etc... it was crazy. Tanner Botts was attentive to our needs, always responded in a timely manner (even with the three hour time difference), very informative and has a great knowledge of the area we were interested in. Fantastic experience: Had the most amazing experience purchasing my condo with George. Geniunely nice guy, and a passionate about his career(And a workaholic..). He was very helpful the entire time. Skilled in communicating with the seller, while providing us the right tips/ instructions, he got us the deal in the waikiki banyan. George walked us through every literally every little detail from beginning to end, patiently answering all questions we had. I'm an out of state investor, and he shared lots of useful information on renovation, inspection, local tax info, insurance policy, rental income info in similar buildings,etc. He even switched out my old fire alarms and fixed and got all my outlets up to code, replaced the broken door lock, fan remote battery for free! Introduced me to his contractors/plumbers, building's manager office, showed me every corner of the building. All the other agents I've spoke to are no where near as experienced and helping as George.( the first agent I spoke to couldn't answer a few my questions, and had to call me back, ignored me , etc) George really goes out of his way satisfy his clients in every way possible. I'm blessed and lucky as hell to find an agent like george, you'll understand why after you try. Seriously looking forward to buying more property with George in the near future.

Fantastic experience: George Krischke, Hawaii Living Principal Broker, didn't become so accidentally. I bought in West Waikiki under his tutelage in October 2018 and sold with him likewise in September 2022. I could not recommend this family man and realtor more highly. I am no spring chicken. I have bought and sold properties a number of times over the decades, and Mr. Krischke is hands down the best at brokering I have ever encountered. He is highly professional, assiduous, honest as the day is long, committed, and skillful across the range of skills (from estimation to negotiation to electronic communications) that it takes to close a deal. You will be fortunate to enlist him.

Fantastic experience: I visited Oahu for 5 weeks in October 2020. I enjoyed my time so much that I started to dream about owning property in Waikiki. While I was there, I called realtor George Krischke, and right from the start, he was incredibly helpful. I was interested in purchasing a condo unit that I could use for vacations and also use as an investment property. George was so knowledgeable about the entire Waikiki area and was really familiar with the rules governing rental properties. He made several great recommendations about different locations to check out. He took me to view all of the properties I was interested in and went above and beyond making sure to answer all of my questions. I didn’t buy anything in a October, but the following March I was ready to make an offer! He helped walk me through everything and my offer was accepted with NO counter offer. Being spread as far as 13 hours apart (!!) during the homebuying process could have led to a great deal of frustration...but Tanner's positive attitude, lightning-quick communication, and willingness to drop everything and head to a property of interest made things surprisingly easy.
