Negative experience: Our experience with this HOA management company has been extremely disappointing. Repeated concerns about the community—ranging from maintenance issues to general upkeep—have gone unaddressed for extended periods of time. Communication is inconsistent at best, and follow-ups are often ignored. Despite multiple requests and clear documentation of issues, there has been little to no action taken. Common areas are not being properly maintained, and it’s evident that accountability is lacking. Homeowners are left feeling unheard and unsupported, which is unacceptable given the fees we pay. An HOA management company should prioritize the well-being of the community and respond in a timely, professional manner. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. Significant improvement is needed in communication, responsiveness, and overall management.

Fantastic experience: Joy Marino single handedly turned our community around from overall dissatisfaction of our HOA to a community that is focused more on helping owners, working with them, and successfully reducing anxiety with the community. The manager is the face of the management company and they have the responsibility of matching a manager that fits our community. Joy fits!

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad Joy is running the show now. Previous person Mitzy was not very personable. Last couple of events for our community have been amazing. My kids had a blast especially with the vendors selected and she was involved with prizes and getting everything done. She’s always willing to listen and advocate for the homeowners. I’ve lived here almost 9 years and the last few years have been phenomenal.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love living in the New Haven community in Ontario Ranch. The neighborhood is beautiful and very family-friendly. We use the parks often, bike around the neighborhood regularly, and really enjoy the community centers—they’re a big part of our everyday life. The Holiday and special events are especially wonderful. These events truly makes it feel like a close-knit community and creates such special memories for families. I also want to give a special thank you to Clint, Dionne, and Lisa. They have all been incredibly helpful whenever we use the community centers, and their friendliness and support make a big difference. We’re very grateful to call New Haven home.

Fantastic experience: I needed to reserve an event space for a huge party that I am throwing, and had difficulties doing so by myself on the HOA app. I then went to the HOA’s office, and Clint was able to quickly help me book the event space and walk me through the reservation process. Clint was very patient and helpful as I wanted to make my reservation asap before someone else reserved it.

Negative experience: If you try and reach them, they never return phone calls! I have left 6 messages and three texts and a email! When I’m am done they will wish they had reached out to me or returned my calls!

Negative experience: Worst company. Karina Sosa will say she is addressing your concern and then just close the case. Each time you call to file the same request they are polite, then a few days later they will close your case and dismiss your request. This is how they reduce their workflow. Guessing they do not have upper management support. Our board is looking to switch companies.

Negative experience: Our 7-unit HOA hired PCM and experienced nothing but disappointment, dishonesty, and neglect. Over just 14 months, we paid more than $20,000 in fees — and received virtually no meaningful service in return. PCM did more harm than good and failed to uphold even the most basic responsibilities. Julie Russo and Francisca Casillo claimed that they conducted four site visits to address safety issues, unit violations, and landscaping concerns — yet they could not substantiate a single one. Not one documented visit. Their claims were outright lies. Worse, when we brought a serious safety concern to their attention, they ignored it entirely. We were forced to retain legal counsel just to free ourselves from their contract. It’s unacceptable that any HOA should have to go through this. Jaime Chandler, as the president of PCM, should be ashamed to lead such a dishonest and dysfunctional company. Their lack of professionalism and integrity is alarming, and they’ve demonstrated zero accountability. I’m sharing this review to warn other HOAs: stay far away from PCM. If you're considering them for management, please reconsider. If you’d like to discuss our experience in more detail, feel free to comment here and leave your email. I’m happy to share what we went through so you can avoid the same.
Negative experience: We've been trying to get in touch with management to discuss the new parking permit system. Adam and Cassie are less than helpful. They've been giving us the runaround, ghosting us, refusing to give contact info for anyone who can actually help. They just send us in circles playing phone tag. I guess they're hoping we'll get frustrated enough to stop trying.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible communication. The property managers that we deal with (Adam and Cassie) will simply stop responding to emails if they decide they don't want to deal with your issue. I have been reaching our regarding parking and accessibility (I am disabled), and have been ghosted by both of them.

Fantastic experience: This comment is to state that I always receive excellent support and help with various issues at the Murrieta Colony by activities director Kara Hardy. She always provides excellent assistance with activities questions and issues. Kara is very busy but always has a smile and friendly manner. Kara, and other employees, make The Colony a fun place.

Negative experience: I am extremely frustrated with this company. I sold a home in October. In November I receive a bill for the HOA assessment. When I call, I finally contact a person who tells me that I must send an email. This gets a response saying they are very busy. Days later I make numerous calls, until finally I get someone who tells me it is my responsibility to send them escrow paperwork and inform them of the new home owner. I repeatedly let them know that I have sold the house, am not an escrow company, etc. Their care and ability to communicate are lacking and I would not want them as my HOA representative. Zero starts if possible

Negative experience: Terrible Service. They do not take care of any of the homeowner needs and their responsibilities on the property. Been waiting a year for roofing repairs. Many common area issues not being handled. Property management doesn’t return calls nor do they respond in their app. Pure neglect to homeowners and the property. Ryan Sowers is our property manager.

Negative experience: July 29, 2023 I made my August HOA payment. July 31 I received an email stating the management company had been changed to them. So I contacted the new company Townsq right away to explain the situation. I was told not to worry that they would take care of it. We are now in December and it is not resolved. I have sent them all documentation they have requested to no conclusion. They keep saying I did not make the payment and are charging me all kind of late fees. So my experience with them is terrible....They deserve a "0" rating.

Negative experience: Nearly impossible to reach a person to get a simple question answered. The instructions to get e-docs to save paper were to go to their web site and create an account - but the instructions don't match the web site. Associa's site is nothing but a sales site, not a service site for the home owner. I recommend that home owners seek out a better service than this national company that only wants to sell home owners more services such as refi or selling. Buyer beware of Associa. The customer service rep (Fabian) hung up on me twice before I sternly spoke to him to stop hanging up. This was after waiting on hold for the third time. Associa service is sub par.

Negative experience: Having contributed to the fight for our freedom, I like to feel free in my country. These guys give a tyrannical vibe. The nosy neighbors don't help, but ask before you send a C&D. In our Palm Springs community they ask nicely, these guys tell you. Sending a cease and desist at the same time. Understand guys you are around because we keep you around, you are easily replaced.

Negative experience: This management company is one of the worst, that I've had the experience of working with in my 29 years of being part of an HOA. In the last year and a half, we have gone through four property managers and three supervisors, as it seems that PCM has a difficult time retaining qualified personnel. The personnel that we have experienced, are not worthy of being called managers. Management is all talk and no action, as they are incapable of providing solutions to ongoing problems. We would not have signed up with a management company that forces you to stay, when they have proven to us they are incapable of providing quality skilled management personnel.

Negative experience: If I could give this business zero stars I would. My calls always get transferred to Evelyn’s voicemail and she never returns any of the calls or emails regarding pending repairs. This is by far the worst hoa company I’ve ever had to deal with!

Negative experience: The other locations may be doing better but NOT the Carlsbad office. No one knows anything. Owner inquiries are not attended to; if you get a response it’s vague. Extremely disappointed!!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I would like to thank and commend the work of Jose (Colony golf course landscape supervisor) In having the tall weeds growing on the golf course slope behind our house at 40465 Via Composeco.cleared. We were delighted as to his prompt response to our request. I even received a telephone call from him to let us the know that the work was in progress. Negative experience: I usually never post any reviews specially negative. This company is the management for the complex where we have a property. Every time we need security or something fix or an immediate response no one has the time to answer an email or a message. I've called with an urgent issue since Monday morning, it is already Thursday and still crickets on the other side. I've also tried to contact corporate but it is impossible to get a real person on the phone. In my opinion if you can't handle the volume of work you have either hire more help or get rid of work to better serve the clients you have. No one can be that busy to answer an email or return a phone call. Come on!!! I would fire you immediately.

Negative experience: Do not use this property manager. They do not respond to emails or phone calls. All they are interested in is making more money for themselves off of late fees and penalties. I asked for my Homeowner information to be updated, including spelling my name correctly, and they didn't. They are inept and do not care about the people they are "servicing", only about making a profit.

Fantastic experience: We were initially told that our HOA application would take 2-3 weeks to process for approval. I emailed Jennifer requesting if the process would be expedited due to our fence being down already and it being a safety issue for our neighbor and us. Jennifer replied the next day with the approval. My experience with Sundance HOA has always been positive. Thank you, Jennifer!

Fantastic experience: I was faced with very heavy trash bins left by the previous owners at my new home. She found us dates and times to perform The Leila Rose Show, created a really terrific ad for the Colony News, and a fantastic flyer to promote the show, even sent us a copy we use to print flyers to distribute ourselves to promote the show.
