Negative experience: If I could give a lower rating I would. Things went down hill this past year with this company. They haven’t responded to any emails or phone calls and stopped sending rent checks. If you are a property owner, I would think twice.
Negative experience: Please do not consider renting from this company. I live near a few of their properties, and they are irresponsible, neglecting tenants as well as vacant properties. I recently had a 7 year old child, ask me for 3 consecutive days, to warm food due to his broken stove. The woman I spoke to was the worst despicable human, i have ever spoken to. This is a disgrace to the people you are over charging for rent in the 1st place.
Fantastic experience: I'm in the seaching stage of the moving process. So far of all the leasing agencies I have contacted they have been the fastest to respond with a friendly and helpful staff that helps guide youthroughtheprocess. I haven't decided to proceed with the next step because I still have time to compare. But I will keep you updated.
Fantastic experience: I have to say they were excellent I rent from them and I moved in fresh paint all brand new Appliances the application was very easy they even waved my application fee for me all I can say they have a ton of home for Everyone so if your looking contact them first by calling or simply there website thanks again Lauren for all your help

Positive experience: I love my house. I have had a few issues like the water pump, but as soon as I mentioned it to the office, they jump right on it only problems. I’m having is the abandoned house next-door is a nuisance. Been trying to get help from the city so I just ended up cutting the leaves in the front myself. I do need someone to cut the backyard next-door because it looks like a forest but other than that inside, my house has been great and you guys have been so helpful and very prompt in your service. Thank you.

After moving in there was a few things wrong with my house and matience came and took care of all the issues Immediately. Very nice matience men as well . Negative experience: Avoid this property manager at all costs !!!!They owe me over $13,000. This company should not be trusted to manage anyone’s property. They stopped paying me rent while the tenant was still paying them, and every time I asked for answers, I got excuses or silence. I’m not the only one — check their Google reviews, it’s a clear pattern. I honestly think there needs to be a class action lawsuit. If you’re an investor, stay far away before they do the same to you.
Negative experience: Horrible services. Dunne wright all of sudden stopped paying out my rent on 3 rental units. There property manager chad lane has refused to return any of my calls . The office is completely worthless. I still have failed to receive any of my documents or keys for my properties. Next step will be filing a lawsuit against dunne wright for there theft. Negative experience: If I could give Zero stars I would!! My dad had a move in date for may 22nd, My dad got the bge turned on and renters insurance for this place! Mind you this place is for my dad my niece and nephew which are 3 and 4 years of age!! The move in date was pushed back almost 3 times, my dad niece and nephew have been staying in a hotel, it is August 2, 2025! My dad was suppose to move in on the 1st but the property manager Lauren texted and said he couldn’t move in no explanation, then when I tried calling she wouldn’t answer!! So now my dad is just going to get a refund and get his lawyers involved for stress and the amount of money he spent in hotel fees after putting security deposit and 1st month rent on a place he couldn’t even move into!!!

Negative experience: They are the WORST. Do not rent from this company. They have no management skills. Their bldg in Brighton smells of mold and mildew. They are SLUMLORDS..in reply to the response..I didn't know anything about that although now thats just worst. I know I won't move their now.i never moved in and im glad . My friend lives there andshe has no heatand been there forever Heat Includebetter get heaters gal. Also don't expect your security deposit back they are awful. They did not return 1800.00 and she is now taking them to court.

Negative experience: My experience with this property management company has been overwhelmingly negative. (disclaimer: I would be cautious of the recent "5 star reviews" and the source of them) I inherited their services when I purchased a rental property and initially decided to keep them, assuming it would be the simplest solution. However, I quickly came to regret that decision. The company consistently ignores my emails and phone calls, often promising a callback that never comes. In desperation, I even visited their office in person, only to have my concerns dismissed and another empty message taken. Their practices are neither transparent nor honest, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. While this experience has been a challenging learning process, I am trying to remain optimistic as I move forward. My concern is that uninformed or underserved tenants may continue to rely on this company due to a lack of better options or representation. The best I can do is share my story and help others make informed decisions.
Negative experience: DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY – THEY ARE THIEVES. As a property owner, I strongly advise anyone considering this property management company to look elsewhere. This company has been a nightmare to deal with. They have ignored repeated emails regarding unpaid rent checks and failed to respond to a cease and desist letter sent by legal counsel. They currently owe me over $3,000 in rent payments and have made no effort to resolve the issue. The owner's portal is never up to date and they are extremely late in sending owner statements. The owner, Chad, is completely unresponsive and MIA. The office staff have also been unresponaive in whatsapp chats. Repeated attempts through legal channels to obtain what is rightfully owed have been unsuccessful, which speaks volumes about the integrity of this business. We have since moved on to a more professional and accountable property management company and they are not releasing my tenant's security deposit. Do not be fooled by any positive reviews – this company is unethical, negligent, and operates with zero accountability. If you value your investment, stay far away. I wish I had never trusted them with my property. If I could give it 0 stars I would. One star is too much.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff so helpful and fast with reaching out and they work with you. So many great things to say and this was my first time contacting them about a rental home. They made a great first impression. I recommend them! Positive experience: The company overall is okay. They get back to you soon or get to your inquiry quickly as long as you pay your rent on time and have been a tenant for some time. I just hope no one experiences what I experienced today. I went to do somebody a favor and took their rent in. It was money order and I’ve never done a money order before. So I ask questions to double check I’m doing it correctly. The lady who worked today 3/5/25, was so rude when I asked a simple question about the money order. She said she’ll handle it but and ignored my question so I asked again to make sure I do it next time and she got an attitude, and stated yes, it says here on the line. If you’re tired of working there at the FRONT Desk and can’t handle customer service, then quit and fine another job where you don’t have to deal with people. It’s not just get money and that’s it. Granted we don’t know what we all go through so I didn’t get too upset and went off. But know your role! I’ve helped this person before and I came across another lady who was really nice and answered all my questions.

Negative experience: Let me start off by saying 1 star is generous. Thus company was ok in the beginning. When they didn't fulfill the end of their contract, by not sending out rent checks, I decided to move on and go with another company. That's when things got really bad. I could see online that thousands of dollars of rent was due to be paid out but the checks never came or came sever months later for a partial amount. CHAD, the owner was always conveniently unavailable by call text email. I sent a certified letter to not do anymore work and not to authorize any more repairs. Magically the rent statements changed having repairs and maintenance and pest control fees back dated 60 days prior depleting all profits. From being owed rent totalling about $7000 to owing dunne wright over $1000 over some trumped up charges. For the last 2 months after the cease and desist letter was sent I have been trying to collect the keys, leases, lead certs security deposits to no avail. The new management company has visited the office just to be turned away. Today jan 16th 2024, I came to the office once again and was told I could not have the keys. Linda, the office clerk, said she didn't have authorization to turn them over. CHAD HAS to approve that. And of course he always unavailable. I called him directly and left him a voicemail. As I was sitting outside contemplating my next move, about 15 min passed I get a call from the office stating I can pick up my keys and they would email the leases by the end of the week. I'll believe that when I see it. I sure all of the security deposits the owe me will wind up in court.

Negative experience: Landlords and Tenants beware. This place is a scam. I was a landlord using them for property management for the first time. Took $6000 from me. Did not do everything they told me they would do to fix up the property. They then admit they forgot to list the property up for rental. After ONE YEAR, they could not find a tenant. Throughout the process, it takes weeks of emails and phone calls in order to get a response from them. At the end, I found out they did not maintain the property at all. Multiple issues with the properties that wasn't there when I first hand it over to them. Over $13k of repairs are needed now to get the property back into shape. And one whole year wasted. As a bonus, they have an account open with me where I deposit enough cash for them just in case they need to do any emergency repair on the property. That amount is still not refunded back to me. AND on their statements for me, they listed items they charged me that they shouldn't have.

Negative experience: Just plain slum lords to sum it up. The worst I've ever experienced in my life and quite depressing to be honest. Never show up for maintenance, no extermination nor pest control. Rude office staff, liars, inconsiderate...I mean the list just goes on and on
Negative experience: Pretty horrible property management firm to be completely fair. For as many properties they have, it seems like only one person, Chad, is responsible for everything. For the past 5 months, every time I've tried to call them they never answer and every time I try to speak with Chad he is apparently mysteriously at a medical appointment, every single time. I thought oh I feel so bad. I hope he's okay. But when they told me that no one else can address my issues besides Chad, I started to get suspicious. Who runs a business where there's a single point of failure. Does that mean none of his clients who have questions can reach him? I think after the third or fourth time of him not being available due to medical appointments, I started to get the gist of what's going on. Taking my business elsewhere. They also spent $2,500 without me approving beforehand. Not great at communication and don't know what they're doing with my property. You're probably better going somewhere else unfortunately.

Hello Love Lee, it seems that you have an agenda here. We sign leases electronically and have done so since the pandemic to protect everyone. We do have WiFi but not public WiFi and seems you are the issue since your phone was not working. Quite frankly, you only need to look in the mirror to actually see what we are dealing with.

Fantastic experience: My very first apartment I had in my entire life, the neighborhood was totally unexpectable in all areas/aspects... I needed to leave fast! ♂️. Angela at Dunne Wright helped me during the moving process. I was totally emotional and she assured me that everything was going to be okay, and it was...while being so anxious and uncomfortable until leaving the complex, Angela's assurance sufficed and I eventually moved into a bigger and better apartment, better neighborhood and so many stores/transportation available. Negative experience: Dunne wright services are very unprofessional. It takes FOREVER to get a maintenance issue resolved and they treat their tenants horribly. The word alum lord comes to mind as the best description. I will not be renewing my lease again, even though the rent is cheap the headache of this leasing office isn’t even worth it!!! Please be forewarned and rent elsewhere

Positive experience: Most of the properties that D &W has for rent is located all throughout Baltimore city..I wish they had more properties for rent in the counties. When I was looking for a place for me & my family I spoke with Chad who was friendly, professional, courteous & honest. I would record Chad to work with if your in the market for a place to rent. This rental agency also accepts housing vouchers for those who maybe looking for a place and has a voucher. I am not a tenant of D&W as to I am not interests in living in the city but, when something does become available in the county I will consider D&W to rent from in the near future.

Negative experience: horrible customer service, horrible maintenance response time (the maintenance men are good guys who do good work but the office that assigns them to the jobs are unfortunately incompetent) rude incompetent leasing staff (I wonder if their even fair housing certified) all in all id describe them as SLUM LORDS— looking up their previous history they were sued and lost the case for illegally charging tenants for maintenance work and they’re better Business Bureau certification expired years ago — not a good landlord

Negative experience: Your right on failure to pay on rent, due to coronavirus and losing my job, i got referred to your company as stated that your company helps people who had been evicted and etc. Within the last last year but if you have a cosigner and someone that can help you out , and willing to put place in their name, i dont see the problem. Everybody makes mistakes and looking on your website it says that your company helps people, i know im not the only one who has eviction on record and its my first one, definitely doesn't have history of this, otherwise i wouldnt get help from person who would cosign. What is the definition of cosigner, i put i had a cosigner in my.notes before i did application over a month ago so yall made me do another app and pay fee couple a days ago. Could of told me a month ago it was a no go, instead of stringing me along
Hello Carnell, your story doesnt add up. There was 42 BILLION in rental assistance so you could have gotten help to avoid eviction and yes we took a long time with you trying to help you but found your story just did not add up.

When I called to inquire about their services and available properties, first of all the women who answered the phone on speaker phone and I could hardly hear her. It sounded like a party or a social gathering was going on in the background "it was loud". Decided NOT to rent from this place.

Negative experience: This company has put a for rent sign at one of the homes in the community. The sign has been up since August and still the tenants are there and the property is not kept up. If they aren’t moving, come take the sign down
Shannon, all you had to do was call us and we would remove the sign. Sure that you do not make mistakes, but we will admit when we do.

Positive experience: My son recently move into one of there property, Manintaine man John was very fast, with service, really listen to our needs, on what was working and not working, we really appreicated. It it was nice. The lawn clean up was taking care of by Jim. He was fast moving, good job moved all the leafs to a corner, wrap them up, and will be back to pick up. I did call the office on the first day with some concerns, of course thats the first thing we worry about moving in and having problems, I spoke to Mrs Teresa and they were very fast and understanding with the situation. So far everything is going good which is a good feeling for once.

A guy named buddy very out going and the upmost respect when meeting him. What ever needs to be fixed there wasn't any problems was done professionally. It was a pleasure to be in his presence. You need more people like that to work for you
Fantastic experience: I Seen a Dunne Wright sticker in the window of the house near me and I called about the yard being dirty and they sent the guy out name buddy and someone else and they were there right away and had it cleaned in no time.
