Epoch on Eagle

Fantastic experience: I lived at Epoch for two years starting in 2023. The maintenance crew always responded to my (non-urgent) work orders within a couple days at most; it was often on the same day even for really minor stuff. There was an issue with cockroaches in the kitchen area, but it was resolved really quickly by pest control once I submitted the work order. The gate into the parking garage was broken sometimes, but not too often. I'm not one to use the public/community stuff much, so I can't speak to any of those. A lot of other reviews complain about the internet going out, but I only occasionally had issues with that. There was a decent amount of noise from other apartments, especially people having parties on their balconies overlooking the courtyard, but it wasn't terrible. My main complaint is the price... the only reason I could afford to live here as a student was that we were splitting the rent for a 2-bed between 3 people, but unlike other places, internet was included in the rent and there weren't a bunch of other monthly fees added on top of the rent, and most places around here don't have a parking garage.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience at Epoch on Eagle. It’s well managed, with efficient staff. It’s well kept and high-quality. Little pricey but definitely worth it. I highly recommend it especially if you’re attending UNT.

Fantastic experience: I have lived here since 2022, Ashleigh (the head manager) has been here my whole stay has been amazing and so much fun too talk too. Anything I need she got me as well as Camille. The staff is also very nice and it is always so clean! I have had 0 issues living here, I graduated, got a job an hour away, still decided to stay! As a UNT Grad I approve!

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Camille and Ashleigh, lived here for 4 years and any issue I have they resolve asap, the wifi is also very fast and me and all my friends can all game at very fast speeds. Not to mention order request are always done when I come home from work! Truly amazing. Washer, Dryer, Wifi, Trash, Parking, Elevators all included in rent which all competitors charge for or do not have the option!

Negative experience: For how expensive this place is it’s ridiculous that they have an internet provider without urgency and communication.

Negative experience: The internet outage is getting ridiculous. They require us to use their provider yet it is down for hours every other week. Midday during work meetings etc. I can’t imagine people taking test and the wifi goes out. The internet provider also has no sense of urgency when called to resolve the issue. I’ve been here for years and it’s the same thing over and over yet rent keeps increasing. At least give people the option to choose their provider if y’all can’t get a better internet provider to service us.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Epoch on Eagle. The property is beautiful with modern, upscale apartments and resort-style amenities. They also host several resident events every month, which really helps create a strong sense of community. The staff is friendly, and the location is convenient to shopping, dining, and major roads. Overall, it’s a great place to live.

Fantastic experience: Really impressed with all the apartment options. Great on site support, beautiful pool and exercise area. I particularly like the fact that it has such great security- aside from being across from the Denton police station, the elevators are secured for guests only from the parking lot to the apartment building. Maintenance seems to respond quickly and the management team seems to value safety first. The lobby always smells good, too.

He, Camille, and the rest of the team answered my many questions and always provided professional and courteous assistance when needed. I would highly recommend this building and working with this amazing team.

Negative experience: BEWARE FUTURE RESIDENTS; seems like some residents dont respect quiet times which starts at a REASONABLE time, 10pm. idiotic yelling and smells of marijuana late at night when trying to fall asleep to get up early for class, just great. seems like management needs to be a LOT stricter with this rule. has happened quite a few nights in the few weeks. i would leave a higher review if management would just do something about this issue.

Fantastic experience: Best first time move-in experience! The manager, Ashley, has been very helpful and accommodating. Everything was organized nicely and very homey. Even all the staff are very welcoming and very easy to ask for help. They understand the anxiety that comes with leasing and renting for the first time and are willing to work and assist you with your troubles. The room itself is very nice and clean upon moving in, with lots of room to fill and decorate with what best fits your needs! So glad I found this place.

Fantastic experience: My son has been at Epoch on Eagle for the last 3 years and I highly recommend. Ashleigh has been so helpful, professional and always goes above and beyond to answer any and every question that I have had being a Mom whose student is 7 hours from home. She has really made the experience fantastic and my son loves living at Epoch. With all of the things parents worry about when youR kids are away, I do not have to worry about his home. THANKS ASHLEIGH!!!! :-)

Positive experience: Overall epoch on eagle is a nice place to live, however it comes with some downsides. One of the staff members seems a bit unfriendly, but otherwise they are excellent. There are people who take their socks and shoes off and put their feet on the furniture in the lobby. There have also been nail clippings on the table in the lobby for a few days now. Maintenance always comes quick and does a good job with any repairs needed. Apartments are new and clean as well.

Positive experience: Was really great when I moved in and the faculty were mostly helpful so my review isnt really aimed towards them. The issue is is the people. It is messy, gross, and often the hallways smell. My neighbor has always had a dog that would bark through the night and keep me up. I am a college student so it caused me to struggle in my studies. I complained many times especially when the dog scratched me but the office told me there was nothing really they could do. Another woman let her corgi chase people around a lot and had no control over the thing. Finally when it was the end of my lease bugs were everywhere. And i mean EVERYWHERE, even my boyfriends apartment. Toenails would be left on tables and I mentioned it to the front office and they are still there days later. People are always taking their shoes off and putting their bare feet where they do not belong and it is just extremely unsanitary. So like I said the living conditions and issues I faced was almost never the front offices fault but I do wish they were more strict about their policies so it was cleaner…..

Fantastic experience: Luxury Apartments at its finest. Amazing staff with that utilize effective communication skills. The staff go beyond 100% to ensure that the residents are happy. Gym equipment works and connects to Apple Watches. Self serve fancy keurig downstairs. Fast internet. Maintenance will change your air filters and respond to any problems promptly. The unit itself has zero issues. The price is reasonable for being so close to the school and the shops below. Did I mention that most amenities are available 24/7! Shout out to Cheyenne and Angelo!

Positive experience: The internet here is quite inconveniencing especially for people who work from home. Constantly disconnecting when you're working . Not forgetting the package delivery issues. Beautiful place if things were well taken care off. Smell of weed .

Negative experience: Wifi is awful. Internet is provided by the complex and included in our rent bill, but it's terrible internet. About twice a day, the wifi gives out for a few minutes before it comes back on. When it does come back, it is consistently slow. This isn't a new issue, management has been aware of this since I'm not the only one having this problem. Nothing has been fixed and I've gotten so frustrated that I went ahead and bought a subscription to a vpn just so I won't keep disconnecting.

Negative experience: I have been waiting 2 weeks to have the “emergency maintenance” come to my apartment, I have called over 5 times and each time they say we will have someone there in the morning… the whole situation is terribly set up, they have a whole different person taking calls whose not even on site, and has no authority to send anyone. I pay way too much for this crap. Very frustrating!!

Negative experience: Not the safest place anymore. Thief got into our car and robbed items and messed up everything. He might have got from the parking gate because it keeps on breaking and is opened most of the times.

Negative experience: Loved the place other than the fact the that gate breaks once a month and now our car has been stolen from the parking garage. They love to promote safe secure parking but in reality not effective. So if you are looking for a safe place… this may not be your best option especially for a college student.

Fantastic experience: I have been living here since 2 years and never had had any feeling of staying away from home. I made many friends with lots of memories.The leasing staff here is very collaborative and friendly making things easier for tenant that includes all the amenities and their response time. If anyone is looking for an apartment i feel like this is the best place for a student to accommodate.

Negative experience: Management has no concern for the well-being of its residents and does not even attempt to resolve issues.

Negative experience: Dealing with Epoch staff has been frustrating. Despite providing timely documentation to prove my insurance met their requirements, I was repeatedly charged unjust fees due to arbitrary policies. It feels like they’re finding excuses to overcharge residents rather than resolving issues fairly. This wasn’t the case in prior years, but recent experiences have been disappointing. Avoid if you value transparent and fair practices.

Negative experience: Our car got towed after we registered it in the visitor app

Positive experience: Great location, great amenities, and great staff! Only thing that sucks are the occasional fire alarms and internet outages. But I would definitely recommend living here!

Fantastic experience: On top of having great prices, a non predatory lease, fantastic staff, and being so close to University, they host pool parties with free Red Bull. If that's not enough to convince you, I don't know what is.

The few small issues I've had were promptly addressed, complete with follow-up to verify everything is to satisfaction. The property is well maintained and offers a wide range of facilities, including a pool, gym, resident cafe, study room, and media room, all of which I enjoy immensely. I love living here so much that I decided to renew my lease. The community hosts monthly events that I love attending with my friends. Additionally, raising a maintenance request is incredibly straightforward, and any issues are usually resolved within 24 hours. The management team is fantastic and always responds promptly to any queries, especially Cheyenne and Angelo, who are particularly helpful.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? First the community manager Ashleigh Jackson is by far the most personable and approachable person ever. Then the employees have been helpful when we had trouble logging into the app/login page. Don’t waste your time going to any other apartment complex. This place is safe and less than a 5 minute walk to campus.

Fantastic experience: The apartments are light, airy, clean, spacious, and modern. The in unit dishwasher, washer, and dryer make life infinitely easier. I love sitting on the patio or poolside and reading, and the pool is a life saver in this heat, plus we were able to grill burgers! The gym is decked out with a bunch of machines to choose from. There are trash chutes on every floor so I don't have to go all the way outside to throw it out, and there are doggie bag trash cans that provide baggies. The elevators are so helpful when you have groceries too. The lobby has a bunch of places to study if sitting at your desk is starting to bore you, and they have vending machines down there for snacks. It feels very secure, every door is locked and gated. It's so close to campus, so it's a quick walk to class. There's a few places to eat attached to the complex is, so if you don't want to drive to get food, you have easy options. Thank you so much to Ashleigh for helping us find our home!

Fantastic experience: This was my first and best place where i leaved for the first time in usa. The services and the maintenance team is best part.

Negative experience: There are several residents who hold parties almost every week, often lasting very late into the night an the music is always loud. I contacted the police to file a noise complaint, but they responded that they couldn’t access the complex because the gate was locked. When I spoke with the lady at the leasing office, she assured me that the police have keys to access the complex at any time. However, this does not align with my experience. Additionally, the internet service is terrible. It is included in the rent and was advertised as high-quality when I moved in, but it frequently goes down.

Positive experience: Ive lived here since the day they opened and have not had any major problems. Its overall a nice and friendly place to stay. My only issue with this complex is that the wifi goes out at least once a month for sometimes days at a time. It is extremely annoying and difficult being a college student and the wifi going out mid test (which has happened before) at random for at long as a few days. I have had to go out of my way to buy my own hotspot because of how undependable the wifi is here. This has been an issue since day one, and as im writing this the wifi went out about an hour ago… again.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful living area that cares about the satisfaction of their residents. They include many amenities and host social events for residents to socialize. I find the garage parking highly convenient in cases of harsh weather conditions as well.

Negative experience: My daughter lives at Epoch on Eagle and attends UNT. It is a nice place, but they wrongfully towed my car when I was visiting my daughter. I parked in the right area and registered as required but they towed it anyway. Tow trucks constantly circle the garage and it’s a total racket. If you rent there or visit the adjacent retail locations, good luck to you!

Fantastic experience: I have lived here since 2022 after watching the apartments get built since 2020. I have never had a single issue in this apartment with my neighbors, amenities, or sound. The staff is beyond welcoming and helpful and are always on top of maintenance issues. The only time there are minor issues, they are few and far in-between.

Positive experience: It's a beautiful building with updated units. The gym and pool are great as well, and I use them often. In fact, I find the building gym sufficient so that I don't need to go to any other gym. There are some problems with the building as well. The door that leads to the parking lot and the gate to exit the building are very loud. When someone goes through the gate, I can hear it slamming while sitting in my living room. It's quite loud and disruptive, and occurs all day long. Also, there is a lot of dog feces on the grass by the building. Tenants do not pick up after their dog. I have my own dog, and she even refuses to go on the grass because there is so much feces there. I wish the building manager would do something to enforce more strict rules about tenants picking up after their dogs.

Fantastic experience: I like the security of the rooms and covered parking area. It's generally quiet, except for a couple false fire alarms that lasted a couple hours.

Positive experience: The building is very secure and has many great opportunities to have extracurricular fun (gym, swimming pool). They also have giveaways and holiday prize games that residents can play and win some really cool gifts. Something that is annoying really regards the residents. Some of them leave their animal fecal matter scattered around the grounds and sometimes in the halls. It hasn’t happened in a while, however, it seemed to last a long period of time before it ceased. Other than that, it’s a great walking distance from the UNT campus, and there is a great coffee shop and restaurant connected to the building.

Fantastic experience: I have resigned for another lease after my first one, good apartments for students that prefer to live close to UNT. If it fits between your budget, I highly recommend Epoch on Eagle as I have had no problems so far!

Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed living here since the building opened in 2021! The community areas are always so clean and the location is perfect for UNT students. Maintenance is also very quick to respond to any issue you may have. I feel very lucky to have found such a great place for my first college apartment!

Fantastic experience: Been living here since august and I absolutely love it. I’ve lived in 3 different apartment complexes throughout denton, and this facility surpasses all others by a mile. The management is super helpful and receptive to and questions, and the staff is absolutely amazing. I can’t think of a time since moving here i haven’t run into a staff member cleaning, power washing, or doing landscaping work through my day. I would and do 100% recommend moving here if you have the chance!
