Fantastic experience: So far Haggerty Company has been a major breeze, quick at getting my application approved and giving me all the details and the move in information for me. They’ve been prompt on the work orders I’ve submitted. Only been in this unit for about a month, but other than that, I love it here it’s peaceful. It’s quiet. The ladies at the office are fantastic. Negative experience: Made an appointment to view a property and when we got there they sent an email to reschedule at another date and time. They don’t answer phone calls either. Seems like a front company.

Negative experience: By far the worst company to rent from… when we moved in the tree in the backyard had a branch hanging we asked the relator that showed us the house to get it trimmed before we moved and nothing was done ( half the tree was hanging we took care of it) the ac was broken when we moved in my fiancé had to install a new pump so the house would be tolerable. All though they would go “fix” thing when we would do work orders it would only be temporary fixes. We had to spend over $600 on portable window ac’s to keep the home feeling okay cause most of the time it was hotter inside than it was outside. When we gave our notice to move (4 days late) due to my fiancé deploying suddenly and us not being able to afford living there they told us we had to say until 10/31. We cleaned the home better than when we moved in and they charged us an outrageous amount of money for things that were already damaged when we moved in. Here we are being charged almost 3K for blinds and holes that were patched badly according to them. If you can avoid this company pls do you. An find a better company.

Sofia, the charges that you were assessed with your move out were due to leaving without paying your final months rent, holes in the walls from TV mounts and floating shelf mounts, damaged blinds, not cleaning the home and the need to replace the living room carpets due to it being saturated in pet urine. In researching the work orders that you submitted during your tenancy, all were addressed and competed in a timely fashion.

Positive experience: Hard to reach. e-mail always comes back "Undeliverable" although yours seem to reach me. I have to wait until representative or assigned manager to contact me, which may mean until the end of the day.

Negative experience: Do not use this company. After two years of renting we did not receive our deposit we were charge outrageous fees -example 45.00 for a dime size mark in wall normal wear and tear on walls like a nick here and there up too 200 per room all carpets were amazing but they found someway to charges the total amount of deposit just on walls painting and nail holes please do not use this company!!!!!!!!

Hello Lina, small nail holes are considered normal wear and tear and not charged to tenants. You were charged for the large screw holes where you had numerous large shelves mounted throughout as well as TVs mounted. The mark on the wall charge was for the happy face that was drawn in marker on the bedroom wall. The carpet charge was due to your lease stating that you needed to have the carpets professionally cleaned when you vacate, which was not completed.

Negative experience: I had a lot of respect for this company until I moved out. When we moved out from the residence they charged us what not to keep our deposit and more. This guy Rob charged us $1,800 +$300 MORE. Excuses where that windows were broken mind you windows couldn’t be held up because they were broken since the day we moved in we put books to keep them up and once we would close it, they cheaply fixed it, but they were still broken. Everything that had to do with windows and doors where a mess in there. Later when we moved out they charged us a dishwasher we NEVER used and they said it was clogged and broken. Tried explaining but, did they care? Ofcourse NOT. I’ve rented 3 homes and this one was the worst I’ve had. Be careful take care of yourselves and your money put work orders in so it shows you called in, check every inch before you move in and take every picture you can to save yourself if you HAVE to rent with them. Cause NEVER again.

As explained to you, the Inventory and Condition form that you signed and turned in when you first moved in did not notate any existing broken windows or cracked panes. Nor were there any broken windows on the inspection pictures right before your move in. You are very correct in stating that work orders should be placed and issues should not be ignored or else they become larger issues that you may be held responsible for such as the dishwasher issue.

Negative experience: If I can rate them a zero I would. Do not rent from them. They keep your deposit even tho you follow the move out list. Make sure everything is professionally done before moving . They make you pay for professional carpet cleaner and they don't like the way it was clean which is (wear and tear no damage) and still charge you for it. Dont leave one hair behind because they will charge you for it. God for bid you dont do a professional job in patching tv holes they will charge you for it. This company needs to be investigated. Its not correct. This company is horrible on getting the heater/ac fix they dont care if its 100+ degrees or -0 . Stay away from this rental company .

We know that not getting your full deposit back can be disappointing, but we give clear instructions, which we have you sign, on what needs to be done. We did give you the opportunity to resend your carpet cleaning vendor back out due to the carpets still being stained black. But you declined unfortunately so we needed to correct that. And leaving unfinished and unpainted slabs of spackle over TV mount holes will of course need to be corrected as well. Coupled with the fact that you never requested authorization to mount your TV, as your lease requires you to do.

Negative experience: Haggerty Co. has proven to be one of the worst property management companies I’ve ever had to deal with. As a homeowner, I expected them to protect my property and uphold their word — instead, they’ve done the complete opposite. From the beginning, we clearly discussed (in writing with their own representatives) that pet deposits would be used to cover damage if tenants’ animals destroyed the property. Fast forward, the tenants’ pets completely ruined the brand-new carpet, leaving a terrible odor that even professional cleaners could not remove. The damage is obvious and well-documented, yet Haggerty Co. refunded the pet deposits back to the tenants instead of applying them to repairs, directly going against what was agreed upon. When confronted, their team dismissed the damage, claiming their inspector “found no smell” and accepted a tenant-provided cleaning receipt as proof everything was fine. Meanwhile, multiple other inspections, including third-party professionals, confirmed the odor and the need for replacement. Their inspector either failed to do his job or simply turned a blind eye to avoid upsetting tenants — either way, the homeowner is left holding the bag. This company does not look out for the interests of the property owners who pay them. They are quick to wash their hands of responsibility, hide behind excuses, and ignore written agreements. If you value your property and expect a management company to enforce leases, protect your investment, and act in good faith, do not hire Haggerty Co. They will leave you with costly repairs, no support, and plenty of excuses. Edit to your respone: I appreciate your reply, but your explanation is inconsistent with both our written agreement and Texas Property Code. To be clear: my request has nothing to do with “readying the home for sale.” The issue is tenant negligent damage — specifically, severe pet damage to the brand-new carpet, which was confirmed by multiple inspections and noted as an odor so strong that even professional cleaning could not resolve it. That falls well outside “normal wear and tear.” Under Texas Property Code § 92.104, deposits (including pet deposits) must be applied to damages caused by tenants or their animals. Refunding that deposit to the tenants instead of applying it to the documented damage was a direct failure to follow both the law and your own written assurances to me (via your representative, Priscilla Najera) that the deposit would be used for this very purpose. Your suggestion that the tenants “took excellent care of the home” is contradicted by the third-party inspection report, professional cleaners, and my representatives’ firsthand observations. Returning their deposit while leaving me to pay out of pocket for replacement carpet is not only unfair, it appears to constitute bad faith under Texas Property Code § 92.109. This is not about my sales agent, my plans to sell, or cosmetic upgrades. This is about tenant negligence and your company’s failure to protect the homeowner’s interests as promised.

I understand you are working to sell your home, but as explained to you, we cannot use a tenant's deposit to help you ready your home for sale. We can only use it for tenant negligent damage. I understand it was in your sales agent's best interest to ready your home as much as possible, but placing that responsibility on a tenant that took excellent care of your home would not only be unfair but against State Property Code.

Negative experience: Avoid this property management. When I occupied one of their rentals, I had AC issue where I did not have a functioning AC for a week in late August. I escalated the incident multiple times with property management to no avail. I had an incident where I was locked out of the house because the sliding door lock was faulty. I requested an emergency maintenance order to have a lock smith open the door. We waited over 8 hours before a locksmith finally showed. You are forced to pay $25 additional on top of the lease. I was told I was supposed to receive a monthly hvac filter. In the two years living there I maybe received 5. The rest I paid out of pocket for. Total waste of money paying the additional monthly $25. Btw the locking mechanism was never resolved so the landlord was so cheap he just removed the lock instead of replacing the sliding door. Being a landlord of a rental property in Northern Virginia, I would never hire this property management group if they were an option. I recommend avoiding their rentals as much as possible. *update notice the re-direct of placing the blame on tenants when unfavorable information is reported on their services. Instead of taking accountability, they use the blame shifting tactic. Haggerty you have my contact info happy to continue our dialogue. Don’t worry i filed a complaint with Ft Bliss Housing to let them know about your negligent management services.

Peter, we are sorry to hear that you were not happy during your time with us. The filter program is important so we can make sure tenants are properly changing those filters. You receive new ones every 60 days and if there was ever a lapse in receiving them it would have been in your best interest to notify us so that we could have replaced it ASAP. This would help to avoid issues like the one you experienced where the HVAC vendor found the A/C frozen over due to your dirty filter and they had to let it completely defrost in order to get it to wok properly.

Negative experience: Our AC went out on Sunday. Called and put in emergency maintenance requests. It’s been 24 hours and we’ve received no response from any potential vendor. They don’t seem very concerned that the internal temperature of our house reached 93+ degrees yesterday. This has been the worst property management company we’ve had the displeasure of dealing with. This is not including the fact that we moved into a dirty house but were told “the last tenants provided a receipt for cleaning.” There was still dog hair in the carpets and grease in the kitchen. *As of 7/7/25 @ 19:25, NO vendor has made contact with me. I personally had to fix my own A/C. I have had to make ALL effort to contact Haggerty and their maintenance numbers, with ZERO follow up from any office staffers. Just so we're clear for those reading. If I hadn't fixed my own A/C, I would be sitting around 36+ hours without A/C, with temperatures capping around 95 yesterday and 96 today. SO. Again, just so we're being clear and honest: just because a vendor was assigned, does NOT mean the work has been completed. :)

It appears you submitted the work order on Sunday at 12:18pm and by 12:20pm we were working with you to try and triage the issue while a vendor was assigned which was done at 12:22pm that day. We appreciate the photos and videos you sent while we tried to work with you to resolve the issues but unfortunately it was determined that the vendor would need to assess at the home. Again we apologize that this was not able to be resolved as quickly as you would have liked it. We do appreciate your tenancy with us and you recent decision to extend your lease with us another year.

We are glad that the vendor was able to confirm that the A/C is working properly and to hear that issue was only that the access door where the filter is changed was not re-attached correctly.

Negative experience: This dirty company WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!! I rent a house, it was dirty, we left it in better condition, we cleaned carpet and everything, the are charging for the cleaning because I didn't send the receipts and they steal close to 2000 in repairs. They never said what they repaired neither the receipts!!! NO DAMAGE WERE MADE TO THE HOUSE. STAY AWAY, I WILL SEE A LAWYER!!!!!

But the main one … After giving my house for lease with them for 5 years they return the house very damaged and Carrillo told me the tenants will Owed you $1,800 dollars in repairs which go to collective services … we can’t do anything about it. Hello Araceli, we are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. After we exhausted the tenant's deposits towards repairs and cleaning after their move out, there still was a balance of $1300. We do have a contract with the collections company, Hunter Warfield, to assist in the collection of debts. Unfortunately the recovery of funds is not always immediate. This was unfortunate and surprising that the tenant moved out in this condition. As evidenced by the numerous inspections we did with the tenant while they were living in the property and they always had it in good condition as you were able to view in the Inspection Reports we sent you.

Negative experience: I have been very disappointed with Century 21 Haggerty and Sons Property Management. I entrusted my rental property to them for nearly 20 years while I lived thousands of miles away. I recently considered selling it and traveled to El Paso. I was shocked at the deplorable condition the home was in. Apparently they rented it to the last tenant with multiple holes punched in interior doors and numerous repairs needed. The evaporative cooler was leaking, and a local pest control company found an active termite infestation. When I attempted to meet with someone from the property management team, I was ghosted. I am incredibly disappointed and have chosen to sell the property. I will be putting over $30K in repairs into the home before I list it.

Fantastic experience: This the first time after renting from multiple property management companies rhat we feel like it’s a win/win for the tenants and the landlords both. This company cares. They respond quickly to the tenants request. They even send out an air filter by mail when you need to change the furnace. They aren’t rude or make you feel like you are a burden when contacting them either. And they are pretty reasonable when it comes to needing repairs or wanting to do something to the property yourself. Fantastic experience: I have had a wonderful experience since choosing to have Haggerty Company manage my rental properties since 2018. I would like to show great appreciation and praise to their maintenance team specifically Julia Rodrigues. She has been very responsive to, not only, my inquiries about the properties but tenant service request as well. Not only will I get an email informing me of the tenant's request, but she will also send a text to ensure that I am aware. She understands that she can get the repairs made if they are within the pre-specified maintenance limit or if they aren't she request my approval through the Haggerty portal which is quick and simple. I have, at times, received phone calls on the weekend if there is an emergency work-order that needs to get approval, in order for the problem to be remedied and the tenant to be put at ease. The efficiency/quality of the maintenance team is what helps to maintain a quality standard of living for my tenants. The efficiency/quality of the maintenance team is what helps to maintain tenant satisfaction so that they continue to extent their lease. The efficiency/quality of the maintenance team is one of the main reasons why I have a property management team to begin with: they receive the service request, and they get the problems fixed. They are great at what they do! This enables me to spend more time as a husband and a father.

Negative experience: I don't recommend ANYONE ever rent through this company. No one answers the phone. They will ignore maintenance requests. When first moving into the house, the master bath was still being worked on, so I had strangers with full access to my house for at least the first week. It was unsettling. I went almost a whole summer with no a/c because no one informed me the a/c was shot. This was AFTER having someone already sent to work on the a/c. I had to climb up on the roof myself to see the giant hole rusted out of the bottom. I had a roof leak that persisted for an entire year before they finally did anything about it. The damage inside the house was extensive at that point. Now, upon moving out, they are holding me liable for things that were pre-exisiting, even though I have proof it was not caused by me. And they neglected to document both of my pet deposits, so now they refuse to deduct $100 from what they claim I owe them. These people are THE WORST.

Positive experience: Its pretty easy renting from them. The payments can be made online which is nice. The reason for 3 stars is because getting maintenance done is a bit rough. You request it online and then for some reason they call the owner of the home and have them send their selection of maintenance people which is a real pain. You select multiple dates and times you are available but they try to just show up when they want and then the items don't get addressed. Its a hassle as I am sure we all work and can't just stay home for days at a time waiting for maintenance people.

Our company does not retain any of your deposit funds. That is used to pay third party vendors for the cleaning and repairs that were necessary.

Positive experience: It was a little rough starting out because they only have one agent who shows houses and she was always busy and when we picked the house after we payed we wanted to see the house again to check if our furniture would fit and they gave us a hard time again saying we couldn’t see the house again until we were already moving in. Then the connections to the stove were not up to code and it was leaking gas and when the gas company came to let us know and we had to shut the gas down it took 4 days for the people Haggerty hires to come and fix it so we didn’t have a stove to cook for 4 days and when they fixed it they glued the gas pipe too much so when we got our own stove we had a very hard time removing the gas pipe to apply it to the new stove because Haggerty refused to send someone else to do it because they said it was our problem. The filter change contract for the AC is a huge scam the filters are soo much better quality and you get 4 instead of one at Sam’s. Haggerty always sends the wrong size and for 32 dollars a month it’s ridiculous considering we change ours weekly and we didn’t even get a filter 2 months in a row from them. Other than that it has been good and peaceful and we haven’t had any problems. I think it is very strange how we did request a new agent and Haggerty told us they only have 1 agent showing houses for rent in El Paso and that we had to wait and that she was busy and that is why we couldn’t see the house again until we were moved in. Also it is funny Haggerty replied to the review and only gave an explanation for the things it has an instant explanation for but not about why it took 4 days for our gas to be fixed or why we didn’t received a filter 2 months in a row or how a/c units are breaking down in the houses they are renting because the amount of filters being sent out are not enough or the greatest quality, but they insist that the program is essential for the protection of the a/c units function.

Negative experience: I've worked with Rob For off and on roughly 7 years. The first time was in 2013-2016. Second time around was 2019-20023. I never had any issues with staff and operations. Respectful individuals. But the 2nd Go around Mr. Carrillo let the tenants and their pets completely destroy my base boards. Holes in and around the house, Curtains were destroyed. He did use the tenants security deposit to cover damages. But I had to pay an extensive amount of money to cover from all damages. I tried to call and text, leave messages and voicemails. Never received anything once I left Haggerty. I will not go with Haggerty Company Property Management again. respectfully, Mr. Rockholt

We understand you are working to sell the home when the last tenants moved out and thus trying to fix it up as much as possible, however as we explained, we can only hold the tenants responsible for tenant negligent damages and not for pre-existing issues. If you recall when you turned the home back over to us there were numerous issues with the home that we had to work with you to try and correct before we could list for rent. The baseboards were an issue that unfortunately were not addressed. We do thank you for your time with us and wish you the best of luck with the sale of your home.

Negative experience: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They will do everything in their might to withhold funds from your deposit. Even if you leave the house in far better condition than received. Then charge you almost $200 for removal of some weeds around an air conditioning unit after you move out $20 for some “dead smoke alarm batteries” we have a video of the property the day we left inside and out and not one time during our stay was a smoke alarm chirping or dead, even painted areas that were damaged from the previous tenants on our own dime… POOR COMMUNICATION also. We had to reach out every time rather than they reach out to us. Even notified them about a roof leak out of courtesy for the home owner and nothing was done about it. They will attempt to explain themselves below like other reviews but steer away and look elsewhere for rentals folks!

Hello AJ, you were charged for weed removal around the home. Your lease does state that you are responsible for yard maintenance including weed removal. We contract 3rd party vendors to do all cleaning and repairs so we have no control over pricing which is why we give very detailed instructions, which you signed, on your move out responsibilities to avoid any surprises. The roof repair did take longer than we would have liked due to the delays with the owner's insurance adjuster. We are still waiting for that video you promised us.

Negative experience: This company should truly have a 2/10 rating. My family and I moved in to a home in June of 23’. We wouldn’t have moved in if we would have known how horrible this property management company is. Firstly, after submitting the initial application to rent this house, it took TWO WEEKS for a response. I had to call and call and call and even drive to the office JUST to speak to someone and, when they do answer, it’s like they hate their lives and don’t want to deal with you. (Customer service: 0/10). We moved into a home that had a lot of deficiencies which, is on me for taking the home in the condition it was in. The walls and ceiling were turning brownish yellow due to the amount of cigarette smoke caked on it. My pregnant wife and I and cleaned the ceilings and walls top to bottom. The Windows in the Master bedroom wouldn’t lock, the front door and master bed door had cracks in it. The backyard was the mother of all Goat heads nest. The floors were unclean. My wife and i throughout our tenure in that home, made it 15x better than it was when we received it. They charged us $900 to remove some posts that were in planters in the backyard, charged us a $250 cleaning fee when we cleaned that house TOP TO BOTTOM and had the carpets professionally cleaned (we provided receipts). They said the yard wasn’t weed whacked BUT, it was! Yall just decided to do your final inspection 9 DAYS AFTER WE MOVED OUT. OF COURSE THE GRASS WILL GROW!!! How you gonna charge me for the grass growing because you all waited over a week to inspect? To all future tenants of this god awful company, ENSURE YOU GET YOUR FINAL INSPECTION THE DAY YOU TURN IN YOUR KEYS OR THEY WILL WAIT OVER A WEEK AND THEN COMPLAIN ABOUT IT. It’s very apparent that this company is about one thing and, that’s your money..

Jonathan, for clarification, $900 was charged for all the repairs that were necessary to the home that fell under your responsibility and went beyond normal wear and tear. Additionally, the posts that you left behind were 9ft metal poles driven into concrete planters which is why I would assume you decided to leave them behind. We thank you for having the carpets professionally cleaned, however your lease stated that you were to have the entire home's interior professionally cleaned. This was notated a 2nd time in the Move Out Process sheet that you signed when you submitted your notice to vacate. However you neglected to do this at move out. All repair and cleaning charges at move out are paid to 3rd party vendors to correct. We do not have any monetary benefit in using any of your deposit and would much rather return it to our tenants which is why we try and be as detailed as possible as to what their responsibilities are at move out.

Negative experience: This company could use improvement in the way they handle landlord to tenant relations. The house we moved into was in no shape up to the standards that should be move in ready. We had to put in so much work unfortunately we were moving from out of town and paid our deposit only based on the pictures hoping that it was in move in condition lesson learned never again. When we moved into the house the house reeked of cigarettes you could visibly see the nicotine on the blinds and walls. At 8 months pregnant I spent about two weeks cleaning the house from ceiling to floor. Not only that the cabinets were caked with grease you could tell that it hand not been cleaned. We also hired a carpet cleaner to try and relief the cigarettes smoke. We spent money on landscapers as the yard was infested with thorns and the big ants. We spent money on pest control service because we had ants infesting our home. We had to put in several maintenance requests and were made to feel like we were dumb or annoying when we put in some of our maintenance requests. Some requests did not get answered till right before our move out date. We tried our best to be the best tenants including hiring monthly pest control and landscaping. Now on the opposite end of our move out their itemized note as to why we didn’t get our full deposit includes cleaning charges and mentions things like blue tape on the vents when that was one of their maintenance crew solution to regulating the ac flow in the house which didn’t work by the way the kitchen and dining room were always super hot. Granted they didn’t charge it but like why mention it like if it was my job to remove something they put up as a fix for their house. Also they took forever to do the inspection and the yard grew with all the rains and we got charged for it even though we spent countless hours in the hot sun leaving the yard better than when we moved in. For people considering using this company I advise you to take documented pictures of videos since move in and urge them to do a walk through finial inspection with you present. This company did not feel like it looks out for its tenants and seems more in favor of just making money. For future people renting with this company be sure to do your walk though in person and document the state of the home at move in extensively and with pictures. To the company I think it would be fair for the tenant to be there at final inspection.

Negative experience: I have been a tenant with Haggerty Company Property Management for over several years, and every once in a while, we have a significant maintenance request Haggerty fails to follow up on. This time, I arrived from a four-month deployment, and that same day, my home lost water. A maintenance request was filed, and we still have no water four days later. All I wanted to do was come home and shower in my home's privacy, but no one in the company has taken the time to follow up with us. I have called them, and the emergency line staff only say they will request someone to follow up with us, but no one does. Additionally, they have not offered any solution. For four days, we have been unable to perform basic home living needs; we have not been able to cook at home, which has recurred extra expenses on our family; we cannot wash our hands in the house, use the restroom, or shower. There is no care, much less empathy from their staff. I need to go back to work tomorrow, and I don’t have a place to shower. This situation should have been resolved while I had days off from my deployment. I have to go back to work tomorrow, and Haggerty will likely ask me to take time off to fix the situation. Haggerty will only resolve the issue at their own time regardless of the problem. It is sad I have had to complaint to other companies before they choose to take proper action. Previous work orders that ended up being resolved but with constant complaints from our end were broken AC, no hot water, and no electricity in the kitchen.

Negative experience: We had better service from the previous apartments we lived at . The owner of the rental is absolutely LAZY and DOES NOT take care of his own property. Nothing was updated and nothing looked like they tried to fix for the next residents. Absolutely INSANE of how late they respond and little effort they care about the resident. We pay good money for what an owner that doesn’t care. We cannot wait to move.

As we explained to you when you submitted your work order about the ants, since you have been living in the home for a few months now, pest control would fall under your responsibility as stated in your lease. In regards to the your issues with the showerhead, we see that you are still having issues with it and we hope to have it resolved for you soon.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I purchased a new property in El Paso, Texas a few years ago, lived in it, and then decided to rent it out for tenants. Negative experience: Don't waist your time with this company. You show up for a viewing and the realtor never shows up. The receptionist clearly doesn't know anything I have called her about different properties and never knows anything about then all she will tell you to check out there website for all properties and info. Getting payed to know NOTHING.

Hello Ma'am, I apologize for any frustrations you may have had. When you schedule an appointment through our system with one of our leasing agents it tracks those showings. According to our system, and for the only Stephanie I recently see, you met with our leasing agent Priscilla this past Saturday to view 2 homes. I confirmed with the leasing agent that you were present and that you were going to discus with your family on which house you preferred. Now if you scheduled with another realtor outside of our company to view any of our homes, while they have access through the lockbox, they do not work for us and we cannot unfortunately track their diligence. In regards to our receptionist, she will provide information such as rent price, number of rooms, if pets are allowed, etc. But for more detailed information you would need to speak with a leasing agent.

Negative experience: I waited patiently on a property for two months to be ready for move in due to undergoing maintenance and repairs. I even as far as called several times to follow up because I really wanted the property. Even kept in touch through email with them willing to wait patiently. Come to find out they kept giving me the run around, saying the property is going through some cleaning and maintenance repairs. So it wouldn’t be done or was unsure when the property was going to be completely done. Then they said my application was first in line and that they were still trying to proceed with moving forward with this property, which I believe was a complete lie. And recently I checked if the property was still available on their website, and sure enough it’s no longer there. I have emails with the property management, and receptionist giving me false hopes and false information. Even though I was respectful, patient, and determine to move into that property. Thanks for getting my hopes up and wasting both our times. I’m sure someone got that property too. I guess I was just the rebound if they didn’t follow through. Please, I would like my refund back for the application as stated in your emails and/or policy that we are granted a refund.

There are pending repairs that need to be done before the home is fit to be occupied and we had expected those to have been done long ago but we are still waiting for the owners of the home to complete those repairs. Fantastic experience: I have used the Century 21 team for property management a while now. They are always letting me know of any updates with my property. They send me work orders and an option to use their maintenance or mine. They have given me nothing but respect and wonderful advice when it comes to renting out the property.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst rental experience of my life. For the entire duration of my lease this company milked every red cent they could from me. They inconvenienced me from the start with me having to take time off of work, on several occasions, for their contractors to fix many problems in the rental. They charged me $25 dollars a month for a ridiculous benefit package that was little more than a multi-level marketing scam. They also charged $10 a month to process my debit card transactions (there is little or no cost for them to process these). In my opinion gross highway robbery. Then, in the end, they took half of my deposit even though I left the rental in way better condition than when I moved in. Also, they refused to answer my question of what percentage of renters receive their entire deposit back (My guess, ZERO percent). After many conversations with this company’s representatives I will recommend you avoid Haggerty Realty like the plague. Avoid them like you would the epicenter of another COVID pandemic outbreak. In my opinion the worst realtors in the greater EL Paso area. Whatever their response to this post, DON'T BELIEVE IT!

We hope the move out inspection report we provided you along with the photos of the property before you moved in help you to better understand the reasoning for the charges. We agree and are not fond of those 3rd party merchant card transaction fees that are charged, which is why we also give tenants the option to pay by e-check which don't have those same card transaction fees. Negative experience: This is a very shady company for agents who are bringing in clients. Attention agents!! Make sure you get a broker rental agreement. Online applications through Sean haggerty rentals does not have a place for referring agent. My agent, who is my brother showed me the rental. The property management agent for the property was shady and didn’t mention my brother who showed me property. It’s not about the money, it’s about your company morals. It’s bad reputation and it’s not right. I’ll make sure this gets reported TREC. I will not mention the agents name because I’m a better person.

Negative experience: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! SCAMMERS!!! BEWARE!!! We requested to move out from the property early. They told us they will not accept our move out request, and proceeded to remove funds from our account with previously provide Account information. Upon moving out we vacuumed all the floors in the home, removed all the trash, and even came back to put the trash to the curb for trash pick up. The only thing we were unable to do was get the carpets cleaned (which had not been done prior to us moving in, based on the amounts of debris my vacuum picked up, like pet hair ) . So I figured we would Receive a bill for the carpet cleaning and then they would keep the deposit for the last months rent. But this company made up an insane bill that totaled $3300. I have NEVER left a property in poor condition. These people are unprofessional. The garage door broke and when we asked for it to be repaired, they repaired it but refused to supply us with the garage door opener. Then they gave us the home with a dirty filter, and the HVAC had an issue within two weeks of moving there and then they tried to blame us for the HVAC because of the dirty filter that they supplied. I could go on but I digress. In response to the response: Yea you provided pictures of about a bag worth of items left under my kids bathroom cabinet and in their linen closet. Then showed me pictures of the carpet we received in a damaged condition and then charged us for the damages. The water had been shut off for over a month so everyone knows what that does to a toilet. We attempted to come to an agreement. We requested a move out via the portal. And if this is not a real option then why is it available to use? And yes the funds were definitely taken from the account illegally. The payment literally came out days before it was even due. Something it never did previously, and this occurred after we had vacated the home. So yes we attempted to resolve this amicably, but we were denied the opportunity. I informed the property manager to just send us the bill and we would pay it when we were able to. We just could not reside at the home and needed to relocate. When we attempted to amicably terminate the lease we were met with a denial. I’ve never experienced such a thing. What lease agreement tells you they refuse to release you? I’m moving! How can you say “I refuse to let you move.” It was weird. I get losing a deposit when breaking a lease. Makes sense. The inflated bill and lies… totally unexpected. They sent me a picture of a notice they left on my door stating they tried various methods to get in contact with us. But they never did. These people are just…. Unethical

Brittany Wright, we are sorry that the owner did not grant your request to vacate the home before your lease expired. However you deciding to vacate the home early anyways in breach of your lease, abandoning the home without surrendering the keys and not paying the rent you owed was certainly not helpful. Additionally, we provided you the Move Out Inspection Report which documented the condition that you left the home in and provided photos on what was needed to remedy the home. That total bill also included the rent that you still owed. Lastly, we cannot "remove funds from your account" as that is impossible to do from our system unless you have first authorized the payment. In conclusion I would suggest in the future should you wish to do something that is in conflict with your lease, that you first attempt to mediate a mutually beneficial arrangement instead of unilaterally act in breach of the lease which would bring down an unfortunate conclusion.

Positive experience: The company is fine. They respond but trying to renew the lease took 2 months for a response from the owners and also just getting in contact with the owners to approve anything fixed on the house take a long time to get fixed. Had a water leak also took two months for approval and my water bill was super high i had to cover that extra water being wasted. The approval time to get anything fixed or answered needs to change.

We do our best to work with the owners of the homes to try and expedite responses and repairs as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we can only work on the approvals as fast as the owners provide them since we are only an intermediary between you and the owner. But we are concerned that it took so long to remedy a water leak. I ask moving forward, should you have further difficulties to please request to speak directly to the property manager and please provide the information on the home that you are renting because as of now we do not show Angeles Gomez as being a client in our system.

Negative experience: I let them managed my rental house for a year, and I did calculation based on the statements they sent to me and the 1099 form, numbers are tottaly different, and the mamager just tell me everything went through computer automatically, and there is no mistake. Well, I did calculation 5 times and got same different numbers everytime, and I just got same answer no matter what. This company rental management is not worst but worse than other, don't let them manage your house, you will lose money and they won't care

Hello Sir, I'm sorry that you feel that your calculations do not seem to be matching. As explained to you we can only include the rent income in the 1099. We cannot do the adjustments or deductions on the 1099. That is something you will have to do with your tax professional.

Positive experience: Maintenance process is not good lacks transparency and all they say over and over is that they will call the contractor and nothing. My new home is freezing and I have my 2 kids in here very disappointed other than that Priscilla was great in the process of getting me into my home on a short notice and I do appreciate her for that. Negative experience: I currently have this company as my property management and there are so many complaints I have. First, they do not physically check on the tenants living in my house. Second, their handy man over exaggerates the damage and requires unnecessary work to be completed when a simpler solution would have done the job. And the last one I will throw out there, the people who work at this office are so rude. I have a house in El Paso they manage if you can call it that. The tenants have been in the house for a few years. And because they never check on my house except "driving by" the tenants never reported a water leak that could have been fixed by recaulking,, the water heater has gone out, we had to fix a leak on the house and my favorite, our living room flooded! All because of their highly poor "management" style. Thank Century 21 Haggerty, you helped bankrupt your owners! Really appreciate that!

Hello Carey, we realize the extreme frustration that comes with having to take on repairs with a rental property. However, we do inspect the homes which is how we were able to make you aware of the numerous stucco and roof issues that we previously reported to you. If you recall, we also had numerous conversations with your insurance adjuster in hopes of having them assist you with these necessary repairs. Additionally these tenants have been great about reporting issues even though on many occasions the issues that they report, you have requested that we hold them responsible to pay for even though it is very clearly issues due to normal wear and tear by which the 3rd party vendors have confirmed. We do regret that you feel unsatisfied with our service and do hope we can work to resolve this. UPDATE 10/26 We do thank you in gaining your trust again and allowing us to assist you with the sale of your home.

Positive experience: On my first time ever to renting my property, I encountered myself with a renter that for some odd reason, did not want to pay his rent. Although Century 21-Haggerty had screened for past problems, this person did not appear as an irresponsible person. He, very quickly, had to be evicted and the agency provided support, guidance and assisted with this process. They were extremely helpful. With my subsequent renter, I had some serious issues with plumbing due to the age of the house, and once again, Century 21 was there to help me manage the issue. I was very appreciative of this.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend C21 Haggerty Property Management. Robert Carrillo was able to answer all our questions in a clear concise way. He stayed on top of things without any prodding. We live in Europe and worried that the distance from El Paso would make for unforeseen difficulties. This was not the case. His team found tenants and leased our property within ten days. They could have done it in days, but for some hesitancy on our part. Priscilla Najera stayed with us to close the on the lease. The rent amount ended up being for more than we asked for originally. -- mkj

Negative experience: I had very bad experience with this company renting my house. They showed it without being cleaned. All they really care about is getting paid. Rob is very rude and unprofessional. He promised to check with the tenants half way the lease to make sure everything was okay, but he never did. Do not recommend them.

Negative experience: No periodic inspections on the tent every 3 to 6 months. Never any investigation as to why something goes wrong in the home, and it never seems to be the tenets fault the just go straight to asking the home owner to pay for any damages. Most issues aren't just wear and tear they are caused by neglect.

Negative experience: We had an unpleasant experience with this company. If you look through these reviews our experience was very similar to Amyas world. I won't go into all the details but when we moved in there was damage from previous tenant . We had photos of when we moved in with date and details of the damage and I let our contact know that the issues were never fixed and he responded with the inventory list with the word "fixed" next to it. So my advice to anybody looking to rent a property from this company, make sure on your inventory list if it doesnt look new you mark it with exact details of what is wrong, chipped paint or worn surface whatever. Follow up with pics and emails and if possible request a walk out with the agent so you know what is coming at you. Would never rent a property from this company and would never recommend it.

Diana Herrera, if you recall we were not the property management company that originally rented this home to you and we took over your lease when the owner switched the home over to our company to manage. The Move-In Inventory Form document that we had for you was supplied to us from the prior management company. We made no alterations to that document nor would we ever alter an Inventory Form unless it had both the Property Manager's and tenant's initials.

Fantastic experience: I usually speak with Mr. Carrillo or Julia. They have always been very helpful and professional. Mr. Carrillo has looked into legal matters concerning our property and was very helpful. Century 21 Haggerty has made it possible to for my husband and I to continue being landlords'. We couldn't have kept up with what is needed to maintain the properties. Thank you very much Frank and Alma Castillo

Fantastic experience: I’ve used Century21 since 2017. They have managed my rental property for 4 years now and they’re absolutely amazing. They’re quick, responsive, professional, and they take care of both the owners needs and tenants requirements. I highly recommend them.
