Negative experience: They delete reviews! Will be reporting to the BBB as well as contacting the owner of each property you manage here in the Silos. Ridiculous how we as mortgage owners, have to deal with your employees who live here, yelling at all hours of the day and night. The entire neighborhood knows that her name is Quinn, we know that she has 2 kids and a husband because all we hear is yelling, at least 5 dogs barking at different times, cars taking up the street to include their daughter's white charger. We moved here because it was quiet and a bit outside of the city. Ridiculous

Negative experience: Misleading Listings, Unsafe Conditions, and Zero Accountability. My wife and I recently relocated from out of state and had no choice but to rent a property sight-unseen. Based on the listing photos provided by this company, the home appeared clean, well-maintained, and move-in ready. Unfortunately, what we moved into was a complete nightmare. The photos were clearly edited or heavily staged to hide serious issues. Here's what we actually found: Insulation blowing out of the ceiling vents — an immediate red flag for health and safety. Garage literally falling apart — structurally unsafe and unusable. Kitchen cabinets painted shut — not just inconvenient but shows a lack of basic care. Uneven, damaged flooring throughout the home — tripping hazard and completely uncomfortable. No blinds on any windows — and we were told we’d need to purchase our own, despite this being a basic rental expectation. This property was completely misrepresented. The condition of the home was not just disappointing — it felt deceptive. If we had seen the property in person beforehand, we would never have signed the lease. Avoid this company at all costs if you want honesty, safety, and a livable home. We trusted the listing, and it ended up costing us dearly — don’t make the same mistake.

Negative experience: Lady was Homophobic and rude !! Called and was inquiring about the property on Highclere … everything was good until she asked who would be occupying the residence I told her 3 people (myself, my sister, and her girlfriend) she said “did you say your girlfriend” I said no my cousins significant other that’s when she said “we don’t allow those roommate accommodations” … I said “mam we are all family, so mam no one that rents from you is allowed to have a significant other”. She says well I um don’t mean it like that … I said well mam I’m going to ask for some clarification because it most definitely seems as such and she says “well I’m not going to argue with you and hung up on me “!! This was tasteless and if this is a representation of the people they employ and their companies belief there is no place for these people within our community. I am seriously in shock and disbelief!!

Fantastic experience: Peace of Mind Property Management company comes out to the home once a year for an inspection and never has it been so easy. Mrs. Connie was our inspector that came out to our home and did a fantastic job. She presented with a smile on her face and was very polite to my family and myself. Fantastic experience: This company made my life and moving to San Antonio so much easier, the leasing is great all the process is great but something that is better than other companies is the maintenance department (always hard to deal with) but George Sosa do a great job on Peace of mind. Is so fast to made the repairs, great communication and he called me when I have 2 issues at my house and everything was done in a day. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: We rent from Peace of Mind and our water heater went out Wednesday night around 10pm. They sent someone out first Thursday morning to check it out and it turns out it needed to be replaced. We had the approval and the go ahead for a new water heater Thursday afternoon and they came back first thing this morning to install it. George from Peace of Mind is always extremely helpful and keeps us informed on where we are from start to finish. By far the best property management company we have ever used. Thanks so much, George!

Fantastic experience: This company, namely Janie De Jesus, Emma and Connie have been absolutely amazing. First, the company I love that the owner has videos on how to get the most out of your property! Those tips have been so insightful as a new landlord. Janie, is very personable and upfront with everything. She is patient and kind and answers all of my questions. Emma who is Janie’s assistant seamlessly followed up with me to begin the process of renting my property. Connie! Who tends to the repairs in the home is very efficient! Does fast and quality work and communicates along the way with photos and other concerns. Connie has went above and beyond and my home looks renewed and ready for its new tenants. Positive experience: Let me start off with saying, Connie and Norlo deserve 5 stars. It’s because of how we’ve been treated by the rest of the office and run through the wringer as tenants that I had to take away a star. (Maybe even two). Experience 1: When touring the place we had to request a refrigerator. As tenants that is not our responsibility to provide. Experience 2: Upon moving in, when very hot and sweaty and feeling pretty gross, we couldn’t take a hot shower because something was wrong with the hot water heater. We had a repair man out, who said it was because a sensor was bypassed. We tried to ask maintenance to fix it and they refused saying it was due to our responsibility of maintaining the system. That is dangerous and a big liability and not a tenant’s responsibility, again. Plus we just moved in so it couldn’t have been us. Finally the guy came out again and provided the paperwork we needed for the property manager to send someone out to fix it. Experience 3: Within weeks of moving in our dryer wasn’t working so we called and they had an electrician out who said it may be how old it was so we had an appliance repairman out and he checked and gave the dryer a clean bill of health saying it was something electrical. They sent the same guy out who said the same thing. We bought a new dryer, same issue kept occurring. Maintenance refused at first saying it couldn’t be their issue, but we asked for just a second opinion and finally this gentleman was honest and told us it was the breaker. Sometimes electricians will take advantage of homeowners and put in the wrong kind so that it’ll go bad or the dryer isn’t adaptable and do what they did of telling us it was our dryer forcing us to keep buying new. He replaced it with what we needed. Since then, we’ve been nervous about reporting anything that they may blame us and either evict us or at the very least not get our deposit back. While completing our inspection for the renewal, Connie came out and was fantastic! She explained a lot of things and even helped with others. She gave me her email to contact her for any reason. What started as a nerve racking situation turned into a great one thanks to her.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Janie De Jesse and Connie Kuenzel at Piece of Mind Property Management for the past four years, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From the very beginning, Janie was an amazing person to work with. She was always incredibly helpful, ensuring that any issues with the property were addressed promptly—often within 24 hours. She kept both the property owner and tenants on the same page at all times, making the entire rental experience seamless and stress-free. It was truly a pleasure working with her and the incredible team she runs. When it came time for our move-out, Connie Kuenzel was outstanding. She walked me through every step of the process, making sure I fully understood what needed to be done for a smooth transition. At first, when she recommended using POM’s preferred vendors, I assumed it was just for their benefit—but I was so wrong! After my initial walkthrough, I completely understood the process. I decided to use Gus from Tidyness Cleaning, and he was AMAZING! His pricing was super reasonable, and he was fantastic to work with. We also used the recommended carpet cleaning service, and the home was left immaculately clean—resulting in a 100% refund of our security deposit! A huge Thank you to Connie for taking the time to explain POM’s process, answering all my calls with patience, and handling everything with such professionalism and kindness. I truly enjoyed my four years renting with Piece of Mind Property Management, and if they had a home available in the new area I moved to, I wouldn’t have hesitated to stay for another four years! Negative experience: Every interaction with this company has been subpar after the introduction. Every time we get contacted it presented in a passive aggressive threat when we report any incidents, damages, etc. and they do nothing to manage between the HOA and the resident. So as a resident you effectively get bullied on two fronts with nothing you can do except take it. So glad to be moving out and away from this neighborhood and this organization.
