Negative experience: The worst communication ever. I do not recommend this rental company.

Fantastic experience: At the end of December 2025, I began renting a house from RMP Rental Solutions. The move was made under extremely stressful circumstances due to the sudden death of my previous landlord’s father who managed the property I lived in for over 12 years. RPM made viewing their listings, the application process, and even adjusting the move-in date, unbelievably easy every step of the way. When I needed help of any kind, it was never a problem. All questions were answered promptly and interaction with any of the staff was pleasant and professional. A man sent out to complete some repairs (hello, Jim!) was knowledgeable, respectful, friendly, and efficient. I am very impressed with this company. Their professionalism is rarely encountered these days. I highly recommend them and give them a well deserved 5 stars across the board!!

Fantastic experience: My husband calls me Murphy, because if it can go bad it will go bad. We’ve had some random issues at the house, and the maintenance team has been incredible in getting us up and running in every aspect! Keith came out today and ended up solving two problems we had, and made sure they were fixed properly before leaving. After a few hours, he even sent a follow up text to make sure everything was in good working order. Little things like that go a long way! Beyond thrilled with being a tenant with RPM!

Fantastic experience: Keith, in maintenance, was very nice and professional. My dryer went out and Keith responded promptly to the order and that he would come out to take a look at the dryer. Unfortunately, he had to order a part for the dryer and it took a few days. Keith sent a text once the part was in and would come by and fix the dryer. Thank you Keith for getting the part for the dryer and getting us back up and running.

Fantastic experience: I have been a long-time renter at one of the locations that RPM manages, and I have never been disappointed whenever I had requested assistance, they are always quick to respond. As an example, my rolling trash can lid was breaking off. I had tried to do repairs on it for over a year because I didn't want to bother anyone but once duct tape would not work the office was notified. Not only did they get ahold of the City to come out immediately but also the City replace with a new rolling cart. Love Chrissy and now the City of Murfreesboro - took care of business. The 5 stars are for the excellent customer service given by Real Property Management. Every person that I have talked with over the years has treated me with positive care. Whatever the issue was, such as a trash can which is certainly NOT an emergency, they take care of it as if it were an emergency. Giving great customer service experience can be rare but not with this group. If you are a renter, you would be hard pressed to find a better group of people to take care of your living needs. You are not treated like you are just lucky to find somewhere to live, you will be treated as they are happy to have you live in one of their locations.

Fantastic experience: Austin at RPM has been working his tail off trying to work with the HOA of my rental to get a leaking window fixed. I haven't had to do a thing other than grant permission. They have taken care of everything for me and the tenants. So happy I found them to manage my rental.

Fantastic experience: Jim is phenomenal. He was at my house two days in a row installing a new range. The job was a bit more complicated than expected, but he came back the next day to make sure it was completed. He offered to help with odd jobs around my house while waiting for the range to arrive- he even got all the footballs and baseballs off of the roof for me!. As a single mom, it was wonderful to have a trustworthy, kind, caring, attentive, and hard working technician in my home!

Fantastic experience: My fridge died on Friday night (outside of business hours), but within an hour of submitting a maintenance request, RPM had dropped off a mini fridge (with a separate freezer compartment, the good kind) for me to use so I didn’t lose all my food! They were so quick & kind, & Jim came first thing Monday morning to fix it. While he was here, Jim also put new batteries in all my smoke detectors, cleaned them, and fixed my door handle! He really went above & beyond, I’m so pleasantly surprised :)

Fantastic experience: Real property management Rental Solutions in Murfreesboro Tennessee is the best! Ariane Raines from Real property management Rental Solutions was assigned to our family. She made the application process and the move-in process seamlessly smooth and stress-free. She always was available to answer our questions and help. We were extremely stressed between selling a home and moving into a temporary rental property, but Ms. Raines, Gina Johnson and Chrissy Plack were very reassuring and supportive.

Negative experience: Agent named Chrissy was very short and rude with my wife regarding something as simple as setting an appointment time to see a rental home. My wife is pregnant, so we needed to move a Monday appointment to a later time for her sake and our planning around doctor visits. Chrissy was initially kinda rude and required multiple emails to setup the appointment. Later, she did not respond to a Friday or Monday email. We received a text on Monday to confirm the appointment that we needed to move. She did respond finally to that text message. However, it included that she was busy dealing with emergent repair calls for properties. I'm sorry, but do renters have to wait the weekend for emergent repairs with your company? Finally, we have established communication via text, so we try to move the appointment to a later time for today, Monday. We are told that showings are only from 9-4 and never on weekends. That doesn't seem reasonable at all. We requested to keep the current appointment, and my wife would take an appointment to see it the next day. We then received a text message saying our initial appointment had been outright cancelled. In the end, this house on Ursuline was the top of our list to see. However, RPM has been the most difficult to deal with to out of the 4 other companies I have booked appointments with for the day.

Fantastic experience: Can not say it often enough, RPM is fantastic. If there is any issue I've had with the current property they have always been on top of it.. recently a tree started to come down due to the storms and within a day someone was out to remove it alone with the stump. Great communication and follow up. Thank you for your service.

Fantastic experience: My family and I had a house fire and needed temporary housing during the rebuilding process. We found a property managed by RPM, explained the circumstances to them and they quickly were able to get us approved to move in. While at the rental property, any maintenance request or questions, although they were few were quickly resolved. The staff are professional, friendly, and courteous. I highly recommend RPM!!!

I find myself getting excited to call Chrissy or Maggie because they make you feel like an old friend. They make you feel taken care of like one too. Nothing but great experiences with this company.

Fantastic experience: RPM was a joy to rent from! The property was in excellent condition when we moved in. They handled any maintenance requests immediately and were always professional and friendly. They never dropped in unannounced—everything was scheduled well in advance, which we really appreciated. When moving out, I pulled out all the stops to return the property as close to the condition we received it in, and they acknowledged our efforts (some companies don’t!). They were very fair with the move-out costs—we received about 90–95% of our deposit back. I would highly recommend this company if you’re looking for an honest, professional, friendly, fast, and caring team who not only looks out for the property owner but also treats renters with respect. A big thanks to Maggie (such a rockstar), Chrissy, and David!

Positive experience: I rented from RPM for 2 years and they were great! This was my first time moving out of my parents’ house. Because of this, all other management companies rejected me due to not having rental history. But RPM noticed that my debt to income ratio and my income were great and took the chance on me. I was never late on rent and kept the house clean. Move-in was efficient. They were up front with all the fees (no extra, random, unnecessary fees) and made sure to contact me about move-in in a timely manner. They were very communicative. They even gave me a small move-in gift which included some cleaning supplies and some dish soap. There was only one issue I had when I first moved in and it was due to the A/C unit. Maintenance had to come by three times. But other than that all other maintenance issues were fixed in a timely manner. RPM let me install a flood light ring camera in the back (as long as I fixed it back when I left) and there were no issues with that. They also let me change my shower head (which I had to leave because I lost the old one). Every time I called the office with something, there was never anyone at the desk, but they always called me back within an hour or so. Paying rent was quick and easy. They had an app where I could save my payment information and rent could easily be paid with two taps. The payment confirmation was immediately sent to my email and RPM was immediately notified. So even if you paid rent the day before it is due or on the due date (which I had to do one time) they were notified just in case your bank takes a few days to process payment. Unfortunately I had to move out because the owner decided to reclaim the property (less than a month before my lease expiration, I’ll add). The move-out process was okay. They sent me the move-out notes and one of the notes was that I had to have the carpets professionally cleaned by a company approved by them, and they recommended a company that I could use. Because of the short notice given by the property owner it didn’t look like I was going to get to use that company in time, so I asked them if I could go through a different carpet cleaning company. It seemed that they were adamant on using their preferred company. I think that maybe if there’s a specific company you want to clean the carpets you should just take that out of the security deposit and not give me an option. In the end, I was able to use the company they recommended and he even gave me a discount. They said I left the place in nearly excellent shape and the only things they had to take out of my security deposit were three lightbulbs I forgot to replace and the price to change the locks. If the owner had not decided to reclaim the property I would still be living there. All in all, it was a great experience working with them.

When it was time for me to move, Maggie was very helpful in expediting my move and closing out the deal. During my time there, the maintenance service was excellent as well. Fantastic experience: It’s rare that I leave reviews but when a service is over and beyond I had to! Our ice and water dispenser went out soon after we had just moved in, go figure. However even though that was an inconvenience at the time Dave Allison and Adam with the company “I know a guy” wasted no time repairing this issue. It is working good as new! Both guys are truly kind hearted and amazing to work with. I’ll stick with them for any future services!

Fantastic experience: My heater went out on a mid 40’s day, I called Real Property Management Rental Solutions, they had someone to my house within an hour, I had heat back on in a couple hours. Everyone was accommodating, very friendly, and just great to deal with.

They were the most responsive group of folks with whom I have ever worked. They responded quickly to maintenance requests, worked through complicated lease situations (five college guys sharing a house, each with separate billing situations as well as lease transfers) and were great to work with through logistics as my son moved out and someone else moved in. If you are a property owner looking to rent your home or are a tenant and learn that RPM is representing the owner, this is the group to work with.

Fantastic experience: I rented a house managed by RPM for two years and had a great experience. They promptly answered maintenance requests. Additionally, they continually went to bat for us against an owner who didn’t want to fix heat (legally required), burst pipes (original clay pipes to the 1920s house), a dishwasher that was 10 years old and way past warranty, a hot water heater that was past its lifespan by several years, among other things. Unfortunately, we dealt with a lot of deferred maintenance issues but RPM consistently answered us in a swift manner. Their portal is also very user friendly and it’s super nice to have automated payments set up.

Negative experience: Worked with them for 2 years as a property owner. While I think they did a good job appeasing tenants, I would not recommend them. Hugh would often get angry at basic questions like can you send me an invoice and how much will it cost to do repairs. While our agreement stipulated that there was no price inflation on repairs, it was only after working with him for over a year that it finally came out in a conversation about understanding expenses for repairs that sometimes he adds in a fee for himself or his team. He later left me in the lurch, I'd imagine intentionally when he said he would manager for another year a month before tenent move out, but then a week before changed his mind. He also constantly advised lowering rents and paying for more things for tenants. Subsequent to using Hugh and rpm I raised my rent by 10% and quickly rented my place. I would not recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Chrissy and the team at RPM were great during our tenancy! They assisted with us moving from out of state to find a great townhouse here in Murfreesboro for a year. Everything went smoothly - from moving in, repairs/maintenance, and moving out after we found a new home. Highly recommend anyone looking for a rental agency to reach out to RPM!

Fantastic experience: Excellent company to manage your rental property. These are good folks! I never have to worry as I know RPM will always contact me about critical questions while regularly handling all the routine ins and outs of management. I stay informed with monthly statements and they always send timely 1099s annually. While many things in life are more difficult than you think, I told my husband the other day that having RPM manage the Murfreesboro condo rental has easily been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Fantastic experience: David was very helpful! While I haven't yet rented through them, I called to ask about a listing I'm very excited for. I am moving to the area I was calling about for a new job, & this is my first time renting a home instead of at an apartment complex so I had a LOT of questions. David was so kind, informative and patient with me! He never made me feel rushed to hang up the phone or to stop asking questions. He also gave me very helpful advice & tips on qualifying and was very good about following up. I was nervous about applying through this company for the first time, but I feel more at ease now.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with RPM for three years now and have been very pleased with their management of my rental home. The staff I have worked with (Hugh, Maggie, and Chrissy) are so friendly and professional I forget they aren't family. Any maintenance requests by tenants have been handled immediately, even if it takes all day on a Saturday to defrost a freezer with a hair dryer. Tenant vetting and leasing has been great from my perspective; I have never had to wait for a qualified renter to sign with RPM, and have not had a bad renter experience. I highly recommend the services of RPM to manage your rental home.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family just moved here from Florida and got in to an apartment complex to avoid difficulties establishing housing. We were always going to be on a look out for a house once we got here but the apartment didn’t turn out to be the best of choices. Chrissy and Hugh went out of their way to understanding that and helped us the best they could when we reached out to them. We plan on being a long standing tenant with them and hope they’ll continue to have us. We really appreciate the time and effort they put in for us. Fantastic experience: Hugh and his team were professional and attentive. We rented through RPM for two years and would have stayed longer if we didn’t just buy our first home. Our home caught on fire and Hugh was there within hours communicating with contractors, the owners, and insurance.

They were super-fast getting my application processed and following up with me in a very challenging time in my life. I truly appreciate Christy and Maggie for all you do.

Negative experience: Not sure what’s wrong here. They had a house available, which I called in regards to Before the house was even listed for rent. The person I spoke to took my information and told me they “would call when if it becomes available. But she didn’t know if it was going to be for rent or if the owner was going to sell the house”. The house became available but they Never called - when it was available I called and emailed the next day they were open but didn’t get a response so I had my husband call multiple times on 7/5/23. He finally got Chrissy. Which he explained she was unpleasant to speak to. Which then was obvious in her emails- I attempted to negotiate with her regarding the home they have available for rent which is probably the reason for the treatment I was receiving- in the same day; I went to their location to try to talk to someone about the house and get it worked out. I went there and the business was closed, but the owners wife(I think her name is Jean) came to the building while I was in my car. I explained to the owners what was going on and my experience with Chrissy which she did apologize for. The Owners took my information and told me she would let me know and have me apply etc if the application falls through. Well the application fell through. She did not call me. She had Chrissy email me to tell me the house was available. Which by that point they had received other applications and I was unable to submit an application or even attempt to rent the home. The house is located on a street I frequently visit. I had to stop by the location I’m tied to right down the street from this property on 7/6/23. As I was driving I noticed the owner was in the garage so I stopped and spoke to him about my interest in the house, I also gave him my information and told him about the less than stellar experience I was having with the company. Apparently he texted the owners- because 1 hour later, the Owner of the company called me and was obviously irritated I had spoken to the owner and was smug about the fact that the house already has an application on it. Maybe it’s just getting off of a holiday weekend, maybe they are short staffed, maybe they didn’t appreciate me trying to lower the rent, maybe they don’t like the fact that my family lives on the same street. I’m not sure; i just know I do not recommend this company and advise everyone to steer away unless you know the owners personally and can bypass the office personnel.
