Fantastic experience: The McLeod Group was recommended to me when I decided to sell my house and purchase a new one. They were amazing walking me through the process and helping me sell my home when the market was slowly rebounding 10+ years ago. Once an offer was in they worked fast at showing me homes that met my needs. They are always willing to answer any questions I have about making wise decisions on improvements or changes to my home and they are happy to recommend trades people when I need help.

Negative experience: Hands down the worst realtor group in terms of organization I have ever seen. I asked them a question about one of their properties on their website back in 2017. For years they have sent me sporadic messages about trying to sell me houses. I didn't even live in the state anymore and just recently received a voicemail from them. Terrible! Note: I requested to stop being contacted over 5 years ago Update April 2025: They just called me again trying to sell me houses. Terrible! Update April 2026: Called me again trying to sell me houses.

Fantastic experience: Mcleod Review It has been 14 years since we had purchased our first home in Salem, OR. Amy Mcleod was our agent for that purchase and we were totally impressed with her as a business woman and with her knowledge on anything and everything regarding the area or the market. We were from out of State and dealing long distance did not hamper Amy’s ability to not only find but to secure our dream home. She even set us up with an agent in our hometown to sell our house. We thought she was amazing then. This time, It started out well but soon it was evident that this wasn’t going to be a cookie cutter transaction. I would regularly flip out over the obstacles that seemingly kept getting thrown in our path; Amy and Anna were cool and calm and maneuvered me forward to get to the end result of my selling and buying a house and closing them on the same day. The stress of buying and selling a house is insurmountable and throw in a few curve balls such as issues with probate, unexpected repairs, or a buyer not being able to secure financing and panic mode comes quick and often. None of these setbacks phased this team. Amy had the back up buyer waiting in the wings and we were able to close both in 30 days. Ten weeks from listing to closing, although it seemed like a year to me. Now that is getting the job done and Amy’s negotiating skills were like watching a magician pull a rabbit out of a hat. I wasn’t the easiest client to deal with but Amy Mcleod and Anna Parker of the Mcleod Group Network are by far the easiest agents to work with. They have an incredible team and when Amy tells you that she’s got you, trust her, because she does.

Amy took as much time as we needed to explain clearly and concisely how the process would work and answered all of our questions to our understanding.
