Fantastic experience: Eva Lin’s team was our real estate team for most of the 2025 year when we were looking to buy our first home. We worked closely with Angel Chao as our agent. After inspections were completed, they also provided very helpful advice on repairs and renovations that needed to be done, and helped us negotiate with the seller to recoup most of those costs. Overall, I strongly recommend Angel and Eva Lin’s team in general, especially if you are looking to buy a house in the Pasadena area, as they have so much experience and will guide you through every step of the process right up until the transaction finally closes. Fantastic experience: I keep a close eye on the real estate market and I had two big worries going into this home sale. First, I was concerned our house wouldn’t sell at the price I wanted. Second, I was worried it would take months to find a good buyer. Thanks to Eva, neither of these scenarios materialized. In fact, she got us multiple strong offers within a week of listing the house on the market and we accepted the best offer at a phenomenal price. On top of that, the entire transaction was under contract and closed within 30 days. In addition to the fantastic sale outcome, our overall experience with Eva as our agent also exceeded my expectations. My favorite thing about working with her was how accessible she was. Negative experience: Incredibly rude open house experience, never experienced something like this as a prospective buyer (my top 0.1% of rude experiences with realtors). My wife and I went to a recent open house and the agent (not Eva, we did not see her there) didn't greet us, just told us to scan the QR code to be let in. Then after we entered the house, there was no welcome, no if you have any questions please ask, nothing. We tour the house (there weren't that many people there) and on our way out, we see the same agent warmly greet another family with a smile, telling them that the floor plan is available on a table (which she didn't tell us), and told them hope you enjoy your tour. As we headed out, she had one last chance to engage us, ie ask us how we liked the house, give us her card if we had any questions, etc, but she did not. We just walked past her and she didn't say anything after she bent over backwards welcoming the other family. Completely unprofessional and rude.

Fantastic experience: I had heard such incredible things about Eva from when she sold my best friends parents’ home in Monterey Park for top dollar, over a million, for a home that all other real estate agents had told them would be impossible to sell for a million. However, I knew she was based in Pasadena with a focus in the local area in LA county and I lived in Irvine. But like the true professional Eva is, when my family friends asked if she would consider helping me find an agent or consider the off chance of taking me on, she responded that she would be more than happy to help sell my parents’ home in Irvine. I couldn’t have been more shocked and thrilled that she was going to come out to see the property and see whether we would be on the same page. I was more than impressed by her vision, attention to detail and her sweet and caring disposition. I was also ecstatic that with her recommendations, her estimated selling range was significantly higher than any of the other agents I had spoken with. Fantastic experience: We entered the market as first time home buyers in the midst of the pandemic, a very strong seller's market. We had South Pasadena or San Marino in mind with a price range we were comfortable with. After speaking with a few realtors online, the chances seemed slim, they all suggested that we start looking elsewhere or raise our price range. I stumbled onto Lin Realty Group's website online randomly, and I figured it couldn't hurt to set up a call. Her welcome presentation blew us away and she gave us the confidence that we would be able to find our dream home in those neighborhoods within our price range. The entire process took about 6 months. We started off house hunting remotely on the East Coast and eventually became in-person about half way through. They were always responsive about setting up open houses, and always did their homework on the condition of the home. When we became anxious about not being able to find a home (houses were getting 30+ offers), but they assured us we'd be able to find it. When we did find our home, Eva's team really held our hand through it all. They helped us set up all the inspections within the very short contingency period. Special shout out to Angel, who answered my million questions about the process, inspection findings, and helped us with the negotiation. And it doesn't stop there, Eva's team kept in touch after the deal closed! They helped us set up the gas, water, etc as well as figured out the tax situation for us.
