At the beginning of our home search, we informed Dan that we were looking to purchase a home sometime in the next year. Through working around our schedules, being honest with us, and never pressuring our decision with a house, Dan helped us find our home. One thing that secured our agent-to-client relationship was the honesty or forwardness that we all brought to the table. Not many people encounter an agent who is honest; however, Dan excelled at providing honesty and correct answers to every question we had. If you’re military personnel (active duty, reservist, retired, or veteran), I highly recommend working with Dan and his team as they assisted my husband and I through our VA home loan. Ashley Knight also provided great service to our home buying process as she always kept track of what was coming up, when things were completed, and if something was missing. Ashley made sure we had every number and contact information we needed when it came to setting up utilities, gas, internet, etc. The home buying process can be exhausting and confusing, but Dan and Ashley ensured my husband and I were good to go all the way through to signing papers. Fantastic experience: Zach Doohen was lovely to work with! Also shout out to his brother who did two showings with me while Zach was unavailable. Let me tell you - I probably was NOT his easiest client. I am a first time homebuyer, so I had no freaking clue what I was doing. I told him at the start that I am a smart person, but this is an area in which I am clueless. I also thought I knew what I wanted, and over time, what I wanted kind of morphed. He guided me throughout the whole process and I am thrilled to say I just closed on a home! One thing I really appreciated about Zach was that it never felt like he was just pushing me into buying any house so he could get a commission. It felt like he wanted to help me find the *right* house for me. As he showed me houses, he would point out certain issues I had never even thought to look for. He wasn't trying to talk me out of any house, but he wanted me to fully understand what I might be buying, and the likely costs associated with those issues. No house is fully perfect, not even new builds. But it is important to know what you might be tackling. His expertise as I looked at homes was SO valuable! When it came time to place an offer, the rest of the Doohen realty group really came out to make sure I was supported the whole way. Big shout-out to Ashley, the transaction manager, who helped keep me organized and told me next steps at all points. Zach is great and I recommend him highly!!

Fantastic experience: Carrie was awesome to work with! She helped with everything from referring a banker to work with; to referring cleaning people to help us get our home ready to sell. She was always available, she responded promptly to texts that I sent at 6:30am over morning coffee and was available to show us houses late in the day and on the weekends around our schedule. She helped us find a home in our price range that met all of our criteria, and then sold the house that we had been living in. We were very happy with how she handled everything, she is a professional. We highly recommend her, and will call her again if we need a realtor in the future.
