Fantastic experience: Tower top floor was absolutely beautiful! Spacious, comfortable, the glass doors in living room really do completely open as pictured. We saw amazing sunsets and walked to Carlsbad Village every day. Beds are comfy, master br is lovely and as pictured. We used the grill to make Cardiff Crack ( if you know, you know!). Awesome grill for a rental property.

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely home, very close to the beach, with gorgeous outdoor space to enjoy the San Diego weather as well as 3 roomy bedrooms and large community space that we enjoyed immensely. The owners are attentive and responsive. The beach in these photos is the one just a few blocks down the street.

The upgrade in housekeeping alone has been worth the switch. Additionally, Haustay is consistently communicative as a company, inclusive of sharing approaches to the different marketing initiatives they undertake to remain relevant and ahead of the game. Fantastic experience: Loved our stay at the Fairway Retreat! The backyard is a dream for the entire family: putting green is beautifully designed and jetted jacuzzi so luxurious. TVs everywhere so we can each take our pick of movies. The house is spacious with so much natural lighting. I especially appreciated being able to keep our car within the 3 car garage. The view is amazing, especially at sunset while we eat dinner al fresco. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! We can’t wait for our next one.

Fantastic experience: We had the most lovely time at this AirBnB. This studio-style condo is very, very spacious and welcoming. We spent A LOT of time on the private balcony just enjoying the ocean. The space was very clean and nicely decorated. The king sized bed was extremely comfy! The hosts were very responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. Aside from the beauty of being right on the shore, the location is very convenient. We loved exploring the local area and nearby Carlsbad. We left relaxed and refreshed!

While we were staying at the house there was a problem with the hot water heater and they had the problem taken care of very quickly. The place was clean and well stocked. Fantastic experience: Had an amazing stay with Haustay Vacations at their Sycamore upstairs location. The apartment was a dream, clean and decorated exquisitely. Loved the beach theme- it felt like home! The Carlsbad Village was super close, just a few blocks to Better Buzz coffee and a bunch of restaurants. We had a huge private balcony with fire pit to enjoy our view of the ocean. The couch in the living room was my favorite spot with a cozy blanket. The team at Haustay was extremely kind and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had all we needed. Highly recommend the Haustay team and the Sycamore apartment. We will be back!

Fantastic experience: Unbelievable oceanfront views with private staircase to the water. We enjoyed watching surfers, seals and dolphins right from the comfort of the living room! Great area with plenty of restaurants for eating out and spacious kitchen for eating in.

We’ve been coming to Carlsbad and renting homes for 14 years now (our first visit was back in June 2011) and this is hands down the best rental we’ve ever stayed in! The kitchen is the most well-stocked I’ve ever seen, the decor is beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, and the whole place is spotless. This is exactly how a vacation rental should be done! We knew there’d be a little street noise, but being right across from the beach more than makes up for it. 5 stars! I’d give more if I could!

Fantastic experience: Words truly cannot do justice to the beauty of this beachfront vacation home, it was a dream-come-true kind of stay. The huge living room with its panoramic windows offered breathtaking views of the ocean, and the private access to the soft sandy beach made it feel like our own paradise. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. My Son had a concert over the weekend, and afterward, he and his high-school friends had the most memorable sleepover. They loved waking up and heading straight to the beach for volleyball games in the morning. Every detail of this home made our vacation magnificent. If you’re looking for the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and direct beach access, this place is second to none!

Fantastic experience: Home was clean and comfortable. Personalized Welcome sign was a lovely addition - thank you! Parking was awesome, the one car garage allows you to keep your car off the street. Bed was comfortable and Internet worked flawlessly. There’s a toaster oven and microwave, small refrigerator. The patio sits right at the water, so you can hear the waves the entire time! If you close the door, it does buffer the sound so you can have some quiet but we loved the waves and sound of the ocean! Exactly what we wanted. Lovely large shared deck with bbq grill and tons of seating, is at ground level and amazing place to enjoy the ocean with some shade. It did warm up quite a bit in the afternoon, there’s no AC (as advertised) but there are fans to create a cross breeze and we were comfortable. Cools back down quickly once the sun sets. Sunset from the balcony, watching surfers and dolphins - we will book this one again! Easy to rent, hosts were in communication via text, but we never needed them - great trip and exactly what we needed!

The home was very clean and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The home contained pretty much everything needed to enjoy your stay. (Coffee maker, dishes, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, even boogie boards) We will definitely return!!

The master bedroom leads straight out to an ocean view and is awesome! Very cute, up-to-date in my daughter’s loved it! Just did a daddy daughter beach trip for a couple of days and it was perfect! Surfing at famous Tamarack Beach right across the street!

Fantastic experience: Terrific vacation stay at 5185 Shore drive in Carlsbad! The view is spectacular with lots of large windows and a broad furnished deck for full time viewing inside or out. House is very clean and well appointed, especially appreciated garage for our car and all of the surf equipment, chairs, umbrella, and toys! Nighttime with gas firepit extra nice.

Kitchen is on the small side, but we didn’t need to cook much, due to the very convenient access to restaurants nearby. Was very nice having private parking space in covered garage too. Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful stay here for our Mother/Daughter getaway. Communication with our Haustay host was super easy, check in a breeze. We found the house to be super clean and cozy. The evenings were a bit chilly, so the fire pit was perfect! Our ocean view was spectacular!!!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding stay Carlsbad Beach, directly facing the Ocean on Carlsbad Blvd. Spent mornings and afternoons walking the blvd., watching dolphins play in the waves, surfers too, and even spotted a sea lion chilling on the beach. It’s been 25 years since I left here and was reminded just how beautiful it is here. This 2-bedroom upper apartment is a gem so comfortable and a perfect home away from home. The best part is the amazing view from the balcony. You can’t beat it!

The location was perfect - walking distance to so many of our favorite spots (coffee shops, restaurants, and Fletcher Cove), and the scenery was incredible. The unit was well appointed and had everything we needed for our family including beach toys, pool towels, and kitchen supplies. The property management team was so responsive and checked in frequently to see how things were going. We loved our time in San Diego and can’t wait to return to this same place.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, newly remodeled, condo! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Gorgeous decor, yet comfortable and very well stocked. The area is safe, beautiful for walks and it’s a short drive to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Having covered, secure parking and a washer/dryer were bonuses! Nice grassy area to play with our pup, and we enjoyed sitting on the peaceful patio. We have stayed at other condos at La Costa, and this one is our favorite!

Fantastic experience: We rented this beautiful home to celebrate our kids birthdays. The location was amazing with views from every window in the living/ dining room. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook and full of extra towels and blankets. The bedroom with all the twin beds was perfect for our kids and their friends. Checking in and out was so easy with the keyless entry. Access to the beach is easy with stairs coming off of your own private deck. Getting up early and watching the waves hit the rocks was perfect…we even saw dolphins on both mornings. The owners were quick to respond. We will definitely be visiting this beautiful home again.
