With his help, I was able to pay off the balance , re set up for auto pay and resolve the issues that last for years. I highly appreciated his help. He is professional, has deep knowledge, patient, polite and thinking for the customer. The best experience I had for many years dealing with all kinds of customer service. He is the super star. Negative experience: I reside in Oceanside, CA in a 55+ community. If you are an HOA seeking a new management company I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST Prescott. Our HOA engaged the services of Prescott in Carlsbad, CA a few months ago. Our Prescott management team is Bobbie Happ (Mgr) and Eric Munoz (asst Mgr). My interactions with them have been poor. All homeowner communications are completed via the Town Sq app which results in significant delays (2+ months on average) for answers when a request is made. The app is not user friendly. Town Sq is impersonal, ineffectual and answers are vague and elusive.

Fantastic experience: I always have a good experience when I contact Arianna Rodriguez at Prescott. She always returns my calls and if it’s important she will text me back with an update on my issue. I recently had to do a clubhouse reservation under time constraints and she made sure I was able to get it done on time. Sometimes dealing with HOAs feels frustrating and you’re communicating into a black hole. But I don’t feel this way when I contact Arianna because I know she is responsive and helpful.

Negative experience: This company cannot respond to emails, calls and messages and when you call the corporate office, you are routed to an international call center. They are ineffective at troubleshooting issues, closing the loop on architectural requests, logging maintenance issues… things lag on for month after month after month. It’s impacting homeowners finances and taxes and it’s wholly unacceptable. What an absolute racket. Edit for Humor: Prescott responds to their negative google reviews faster than brown water coming out of your faucets or your architectural request that has significant financial and tax implications. Can't make this up.

Negative experience: I have a water leak in a dual pane window and asked DMon to send someone to do a consult, he said immediately before sending a professional that the leak was the interior.I asked him to please do a professional window opinion and he sent a man in and my husband is on oxygen and frail and he told my husband before he even got to the window to do the assessment that the didn't think the Hoa would approve of fixing the window.I pay 790 plus a month and i've been here for 24 years and Damon just started and i've repeatedly asked him to send an expert to see if the window is leaking reopen inside or out.I don't mind laying for it if it's the inside but he seems to be biased towards us and have preset opinion .They also did the neighbors new plants and left mine looking like crap.You tell me is there a bias here? also the pics of The window is dual pain and he's telling me that the rain comes from the inside, causing the fluid in the window. I've never seen rain from the inside. It's always the outside, but apparently he's an expert without getting the opinion so I want a public opinion what is going on here?

Negative experience: Worst management company we have ever been a part of. They never respond to emails or after hour emergencies. Don’t respond to my review with your BS copy and paste response telling me to email customer service. I’ve contacted Janet and Chaosia and regarding billing issues and they don’t reply. Run FAR FAR from this company.

Negative experience: Do not recommend. They are impossible to get a hold of- takes months to even get an email response and that is only after repeated attempts to try and get a hold of them. By the time they actually respond, they neglected completely answered the question to begin with and the whole process has to start over again. Never mind the fact that the HOA in my community is absolutely horrible to begin with and several members are very Much in cahoots with getting The Prescott team members to completely agree with all of their corrupt decision-making and misuse of our money. I would definitely not recommend this company for property management.

Negative experience: If I could give Prescott HOA -10 STARS I WOULD! We had nothing but issues with living at Pelican Cove oceanside. WARNING- do not move here! They tow your car for literally nothing, and they will never respond to you regarding anything. We discovered a Roof leak in our master bedroom closet causing mold. We contacted our landlord and he wanted nothing to do with it neither did Prescott HOA! I had to go as far as get the city of Oceanside involved to site them a violation. This place is a joke!! Problems with Pelican Cove are- HOA will not respond or even communicate with you. There are people that go through the dumpsters and throw all the trash on the floor and we the people that live there have to pick it up. People from the hoa live on the grounds and wall around checking everyone's has/property every day. They check cars in the middle of the night and get you towed for no reason and no warning! You can NOT have ANYTHING on your patios. No bikes no kids play house. If you like to decorate for holidays, they make you take it down or there will be a fine. I hope this helps! Don't do it!! Negative experience: called today and was quite frustrated. My water was turned off due to a leak. Turns out it is leaking from a pipe that leads up to the meter. I could not get anyone to answer the phones, email, or messages in the app. When I finally got through to someone a few hours later I was told I could ONLY speak to Pam Walker but she’s in a meeting, and not available. I caller MULTIPLE times and she finally answered. Doesn’t know the answer though, keeps telling me she isn’t familiar with my property and “believes the answer is”. I am so frustrated, I don’t have water tonight because a plumber can’t fix it until tomorrow. Not a great company and their service is awful.

Negative experience: Horrible service I hate this freaking company. I wanna say they’re embezzling the money because nothing ever happens with the HOA that we have currently in Carlsbad at the old Grove condominiums. Now they wanna hire security all last minute and we haven’t a security for the past year and they told my freaking car because I didn’t put a pass on my window. Gave no warning just tow the car. I hate the security company that they use. I hate this company in general. Everything about them is just unethical.

Fantastic experience: Our community has had many turnovers with property managers over the past few years. Damon was assigned to our property in 2024 and despite the challenges of being handed a property that was in need of serious organization, I am happy to say that I believe our HOA is finally getting back on track. He has the right kind of disposition to deal with strong personalities of all types. He cares about his job and he gets results.

Fantastic experience: Management companies often have a reputation for poor performance and slow responses, but that has not been my experience with Prescott. Our community had been facing difficult challenges due to the ineffective leadership of our previous management company. Fantastic experience: I’ve had the pleasure of working with Carolina Bejarano at the Windingwalk HOA office on numerous occasions, and I can honestly say she has always been extremely helpful and professional. Whether I’ve needed assistance or had to submit a clubhouse reservation, she’s consistently gone above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. This past weekend, I encountered an issue with the venue that disrupted our event plans. While it was frustrating at the time since it has never happened before, I reached out to Carolina the following week, and I was very impressed with her swift response. She not only apologized and acknowledged the issue but took immediate action to resolve it the same business day. Although the company doesn't always receive the best reviews, I personally have no negative experiences with them, but I feel it’s important to specifically recognize Carolina for her outstanding professionalism, quick response, and dedication to resolving issues. Negative experience: Garbage property management company. Allows the condominium I live in to fall into neglect. Doesn't not hold HOA board members accountable for their negligence and dereliction to duties. Quite honestly I do not even know what it is they even pretend to do, but managing a property is clearly not one of them. They have allowed our our HOA to go well past their time requirements for holding board meetings. When they finally did hold a board meeting the board members didn't even show up. Were told we'd get another meeting or hear of the next scheduled meeting in a week, and yet it's been a month. I emailed these people months ago threatening this review if they didn't resolve anything, and they still have not. They absolute suck. It is clear they don't care about the residents.

They are incompetent, close tickets without providing a resolution, respond to questions without an answer and are not enforcing the bylaws with the board. We have not had an HOA meeting in over 1.5 years and I have been asking for one for nearly 5 months. Extremely disappointed.

Negative experience: Such an absolute joke of a management company that should be embarrassed and ashamed. They were discharged by my HOA (probably for their irresponsible and poor service) and have since refused refunding several hundreds of dollars that they fraudulently keep now that their obligations have been terminated. Don’t bother reading their responses to any of the bad reviews here on Google or Yelp. They will tell you that they’re “so sorry” and want to resolve this by urging you to “contact customer support” at some shoddy email that’s never monitored and, if they do reply, they’ll give you the runaround by referring you to numerous “customer specialist agents” with hilariously illogical excuses of why they won’t give you a refund for a sum they have no right to keep. The ONLY way to deal with frauds and bullies like Prescott Companies is through legal action. Keep in mind that this kind of predatory and loathsome behavior shows that Prescott bets on you not doing anything, and that you don’t know any better with respect to your rights. If you don’t bother, you can kiss your money or their good faith commitments to any of their legal obligations goodbye.

Negative experience: The absolute worst and joke of a HOA company. They do not care about the well being of people or have any type of urgency. They represent my community and I have been trying to get my parking passes since June when I moved into my community. Jared and sally are the absolute worst and make this company look horrible. They never respond to emails or any phone calls and have no sense of urgency to solve to respond to my property management company or myself. I am so done dealing with this mess and cannot express my anger towards this situation anymore.

Negative experience: Agree with all the other reviews that Prescott is one of the worst property management companies I’ve come across. Since we moved into our condo we’ve had an open request to fix our patio and our property manager doesn’t answer the phone or emails. Now the patio is growing mold because of their negligence. They are extremely slow and provide horrible customer service. Several of my neighbors have hired lawyers to sue this company.

As a member of the Board of Directors for our community, I can confidently say that our experience with Prescott since 2018 has been nothing short of a nightmare. Where do I even begin? Let's start with the state of our community, which has deteriorated into shambles under Prescott's so-called "management." It's abundantly clear that there is a severe lack of partnership and accountability from their end. One of the most egregious offenses is their accounting practices, or should I say lack thereof. Accounting is apparently not done locally, which means getting accurate and up-to-date financial information is like pulling teeth. We've been begging for transparency and clarity, but all we get are excuses and delays. But wait, there's more! They've managed to mess up our HOA assessments, resulting in us overpaying for months on end. Despite countless attempts to rectify the situation, they've failed miserably. They claim they've fixed it, yet here we are, still bleeding money thanks to their incompetence. Save yourself the headache and avoid Prescott Companies at all costs. They've single-handedly driven our once-thriving community into the ground. Steer clear unless you enjoy frustration, incompetence, and a sinking bank account.

Positive experience: EDIT: I am updating my review based on my issue being resolved. What I found is that once you get the attention of the right person, they will work with you to resolve your issue. My community's manager helped me out through email. Docking one star for the phone customer service since they were of no help and didn't direct me to the right person. Old review: I saw another review on here with almost exactly the same experience as me. I emailed them about an accounting error that incorrectly missed recording my payment and charged me incorrect late fees. Several days, no response. I called and got an operator who knew nothing and kept insisting that I email. I will update my review if the team checks their email and actually fixes the problem.

Fantastic experience: Finally a voice of reason has come thru from Prescott HOA Management for Montego Condo’s in Murrieta, Ca. His name is Jared Chase! He listens!!!!!! He Solves problems!!! What comes out of his mouth is the same as the solution that fixed your problem(s). No long and drawn out wait to see a light at the end of the tunnel. No hoops to jump thru. Logic is on the menu at every turn when you deal with Jared Chase. I certainly hope Prescott will consider a promotion and replacement in short order. This man is over qualified and would have that office running like a fine toothed Swedish clock if he was in….oh, I dont know, let’s say Kristen (do nothing) Saucedo’s position.

Negative experience: This company is HORRIBLE with customer service. Per their instructions I emailed them. But after 4 days there was no response. I phoned and got an operator who knew nothing. He kept insisting that I email but when I finally convinced him that wasn't working, he reluctantly transferred me to the managers who are responsible for my association. There was nothing but a recorded message telling me to leave a message, but that was not possible because the recorded message went on to say an operator was not available and hung up on me. When I re-contacted the original operator he just told me to email again. This is absolutely insane. For this I am paying $475 per month in HOA fees!!!!

Negative experience: Prescott Companies has 1.5 stars and Yelp and I'm not surprised - we have had a terrible experience! My mother-in-law lives in a condo in a facility they (poorly) manage. There was a flood due to the condo pipes per the plumber but they aren't covering it. We will be fighting that. What's more egregious is their billing! I switched banks 18 months ago and deleted my old bank info from the TownSq app where they charge the HOA monthly fee. I could see that no future payments were scheduled yet they charged me. I reached out to their representative, William Tuer, the Community General Manager and I asked him to confirm they were charging the new bank and I explained I the old bank account shouldn't be charged He said he couldn't see banking info. Prescott has continued to charge me for 3 more months - I NEVER have bank or late fees but have $96 in fees since they are charging an account I was trying to close out. I have filed a complaint with my bank who won't allow Prescott to illegal charge me moving forward but it shouldn't have come to this. I have spent hours dealing with this. I now have a large credit since they are DOULBE CHARGING me nearly $1,000 a month, and I'll have to redo the autopayment (one time payments are charged $32). This is after they starting charging HOA fees in Townsquare without notice. I have never worked with such a shady company.

Negative experience: As much as I enjoy the property manager and theteam as people, the response time is simply unacceptable. I submitted a maintenance request SIX DAYS AGO, for water dripping in my bathroom fan, due to a broken vent cover they installed maybe a year ago, and it’s crickets. So disappointed in them. I left a voice mail earlier today and no response. More rain coming tomorrow, will be interesting to see what happens next. Seriously, 6 days, and no response as of this post…SMH.

Negative experience: I've had an open claim since July 2022, I hadn't received payment for damages until February of 2023 only only to have the payment sent to the rental property address with my name being misspelled. Which rendered the check void. Now I'm over 3 weeks into waiting for a reprint. Although there has been follow up on my questions it has always come at the expense of me calling several times and leaving several emails and voice mails to only have them answered several days later with no new information. Always being told they will get back with me when they have an answer. (Never). I am so disappointed with the service from this Company. They are only thorough and prompt when telling us they are raising HOA dues and when you leave your trash cans out too long. I only wish the employees could trade places with me and then see if I'm the one that has been impatient and unreasonable, while spending almost a year with property damage.

Positive experience: Were really quick in getting approvals for solar installation! Had to reach out over the phone and email to get it completed. It would have been a little more convenient if their online portal supported this instead of having to fill out paperwork, but working with Marc was really great and he was incredibly responsive.

Negative experience: 2 things: #1 I'm sorry to say that I'm not very happy about the progress here at Cape Concord. For a couple of years now, Cape Concord is not looking good, things just don't get attended to and like many other people feel - but we do pay $265 a month and I don't see progress. I'm very worried about Property Values, and it makes me sad to see that things are not getting fixed. (painting, wood repair on homes, landscaping, areas in the streets that we have, the signs for outdoor Reserved Parking + the fact that several signs are actually missing altogether. Several Residents have things that need immediate attention - broken window for 3 months, a horrible, scary front gate to someones house that's not been attended to for a couple years now, people parking in guest parking when they live here and we have in our rules that Residents are not allowed to park in guest parking, people use the empty Reserved parking spots even though they do not rent them, our loss of people renting the outdoor Reserved parking spaces,we have our 1st phase of Cape Concord where they have not even gotten the new fences that the rest of the us have gotten about 4-5 yrs ago, we have 2 clubhouses, but only 1 is available to be used once in awhile and the other one is in bad condition so it cannot be used - and we do have the option to rent it out to residents for special occasions and this 1 clubhouse. The money for the Rental for Clubhouses and for outside Reserved Parking would bring in money to help with fixing this community up. All this is known to the HOA Board and to Prescott, and nothing is getting fixed. Our monthly fees should be used to put Cape Concord together. And it's been a year since we've had a Newsletter to let residents (owners and renters) know about things going on here. I wish that the Prescott people would come here and look over Cape Concord to see it's condition and moving with putting it back together. #2 Parisa Wilson has been very helpful with several things around here, and I thank her for that. We need more help. I'm sorry , but you asked for a report on how things are going here. I'm not even going to give it a 1-10 rating.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Marc Giddens is very responsive with emails and phone calls. He was able to get our application for our backyard remodeling approved in a week and three days. Even my contractor said that was the quickest turnaround time he has seen. Mr. Giddens was the same way when we applied to have our house painted a few months ago.

Fantastic experience: I have been very pleased to work with Marc and Jocelyn on our HOA plan submittals. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that it didn't cost the normal HOA fee to repaint the house nor install a drought tolerant landscape, that those things have no HOA fees attached.
