We looked at probably 20 different houses together trying to find the right one, and He was super patient the whole time and actually recommended the one we bought. Once the tours were over, he and his team made the process really easy on us. He organized all repairs, managed the offers between us and the owner, and explained all of the paperwork despite whatever else he had going on. Negative experience: I will never ever recommend this real estate to no one ever. Olivia Cooley was the real estate agent of the other party who I bought the house from. She was so unprofessional during the whole closing and not just that, I went over to the home that was bought and they left a big mess, a nasty mess that till this day has not been picked up! We have been reaching out and she has yet to reply and be responsible for the matter that is going on. Me as a person who is buying my first home this is a terrible experience especially from her side and especially the unprofessional act. I also want to put out here that they had a whole month to move out and have the house clean and done for me to move in, but no they were still taking stuff out the day I closed on the house. Please keep in mind this is not the first mistake and complaint that this real estate has gotten.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars is not enough…Fair warning, a little long of a review but if you are serious about buying a home it is worth the read! Tohri is your girl!! My husband and I were on Zillow one night in our old house (we have been trying to move for almost 2 years) and a beautiful house popped up a little out of our price range, but it checked ALL of the boxes! We booked a tour and the second we pulled in the driveway we knew it would be our forever home. Unfortunately, at that time, we were with a different company and realtor who was not in contact with updates or guidance (as this was the first time I was purchasing and was in the dark). After a few days of unanswered phone calls and questions, our dream home fell under contract with someone else and we were devastated. We released ourselves with the old realtor and started touring other homes, when God sent us Tohri!! The same day we toured other homes with her, our dream home went back on the market!! Tohri fought for us, was in constant communication, and within 3 days we were under contract! When I say Tohri is both professional, and AMAZING at her job, it is not an exaggeration! We signed for our forever home on 12/30/25 right before the New Year! My husband and I can’t express how grateful we are for Tohri! Without her diligence and dedication we wouldn’t be in the home we prayed for! SO with that being said, request Tohri and I promise she will do everything in her power for you to make ur forever home become a reality!!! THANK YOU TOHRI !!!!!!

Negative experience: My experience with Olivia Cooley Real Estate from the buying side was incredibly frustrating. From start to finish, I felt like I was chasing people who were supposed to be helping me. Messages went unanswered, calls weren’t returned, and at key moments it felt like I was completely on my own. I understand real estate is busy, but in my opinion, the team took on far more than they could handle, and it showed. I felt like just another small number on their list. One of the biggest stressors for me was that an agreement we had discussed early on seemed to shift later. It left me feeling blindsided and uneasy. My strong advice to anyone considering this group is: get everything in writing. In my experience, verbal agreements meant very little once things got complicated. The team also sells the idea that “everyone knows your case so anyone can jump in and help.” In my experience, that was absolutely not the case. Even internal team members mentioned they couldn’t reach my agent at times, which matched my own experience and honestly made me even more concerned about the lack of internal communication. When things finally escalated, Olivia herself stepped in. At first, she repeated the same story I had already been told from my agent, one that didn’t match the original agreement, but eventually she did acknowledge and accept the earlier terms. I appreciate that. Unfortunately, by the time that happened, it had taken weeks of stress, confusion, and exhausting back-and-forth, and I no longer felt any confidence in the process. Dylon can be a strong negotiator when he’s actually available. There were moments when he was genuinely helpful. But the inconsistency made those moments rare, and for me, it wasn’t nearly enough to balance out the chaos. Overall, my personal impression is that this experience was disorganized, confusing, and far more stressful than it should have been. With so many real estate options in Columbia, I would recommend steering clear and choosing a team that communicates clearly and consistently.

Fantastic experience: We had a couple of bad experiences with real estate agents until we came across Joseph Dixon with Olivia Cooley. When he heard of the problems we had had, he promised us that he would work diligently to ensure that we did not have any more problems. He showed us every house we wanted to see, some he went to without us to check them out once he got to know us and what we wanted. We live about 4 hours from Columbia, so Joseph did a lot of video showings for us. When we were able to make it to Columbia to see houses ourselves, he would rearrange his schedule to be sure that he was available for us so we could optimize our time there. We finally got in contract with a house, and 4 days before closing, the seller backed out of the contract. The day before we were supposed to close, the seller came back and said he decided he would meet the terms of the contract and if we didn't close and didn't buy the house, he would sue us. We did not want to buy this house after all the seller had done, and Joseph went to bat for us. By the time he was done, the seller understood that he had broken the contract, and Joseph even got our earnest money back for us. That is just one example of the many things that Joseph did for us while we were looking for a house. If you need a real estate agent, I highly recommend this young man! You will not find anyone who will work harder for you to find you the house of your dreams.

Positive experience: We got off to a rocky start after 2 agents bailed on me. It didn't set a good relationship with me as I was ready to go elsewhere. As a 3rd opportunity, Joseph Dixon stepped up and asked for 1 more try. Had we started with Mr Dixon, this would had been alot smoother. But he did his best to accommodate us both in person and FaceTime videos. Very patient and caring and that went along ways. We had some sellers who tried to commit criminal acts in NW Columbia, but Mr Dixon made sure we were taken care of. Otherwise, give Joseph a call for your buying and selling needs. Fantastic experience: April Short is THE BEST AGENT EVER. my husband and I were moving our little family out of state and we had NO clue what to do and how to do it. She took us through how we would handle everything with ease. We traveled a weekend over the summer to get a feel for the area and to tour homes, I think we did 8-10 in one day - amazing. We had our three littles with us and she was so great with them. She was always available for us any time of day when we had questions, took us on virtual tours on the houses we couldn't be there for , and was ultimately just at bats for us every step of the way.
