Experiencia negativa: They are the worst housing management company in America. They don't call you back or respond to you like they should. They lie to much and take people money. They don't deserve no stars.
Experiencia negativa: This apartment complex is in a fantastic location in Northern Michigan.The apartment manager is kind and helpful, and maintenance is responsive. But the complex is falling into disrepair, has several unlicensed vehicles, pavements are crumbling and appliances are a mixed bag. Appliances are a crapshoot. Tenants are messy and leave trash lying around. I referred someone based on the condition of my apartment who rented a unit with old noisy appliances and is very disappointed. I lived here over a decade ago; none of this was tolerated then, and the complex was nicer as a result. Today it has a negative reputation among locals and City officials. We get the impression that Millenium doesn't support onsite staff. This is not Cleveland or Parma. It's heartbreaking to see a location with so much going for it and so much potential slowly declining and being outcompeted by newer properties with more serious ownership. Please do not ask me to contact you independently or place the burden on onsite staff. I'll come back and rewrite this review if we see any effort by Millenia to support its onsite staff. In the meantime we are considering placing our rents in escrow whenever issues are not resolved.
Experiencia negativa: I lived in there apartment complex Southern Oaks Village in Florence Alabama. The rent for a 2 bedroom apartment went from 450 all the way to 800 within 4 yrs. They do not get anything fixed. They go through office management like a revolving door. Same with maintenance men for the property. While I was there 4 yrs my toilet broke and it took two weeks to get a new one. Then the pipes to my kitchen sink desingrated and would not fix it. I was washing dishes in my bathtub for over a year. They still expected rent on time. Sorry those 2 bedroom one bath apartments are it worth 800 at all. All they do is stick a bandaid over all the issues wrong. I lost my section 8 because of the managers. They wouldn't even let me move to another apartment that was passing for section 8. They say I owe over 6,000 for outstanding rent. Well our rent was being paid. But you hire a manager that was stealing people's rent money. Wasn't even putting it on there account. So it's kinda of a deplorable place to live in. And I would not recommend the complex to anyone if they are looking for a place to rent.

My apartment is ignoring me, and I have called the company with no call back. I just emailed asking where my deposit is. I will take legal action if I do not hear back. It has been months, and I deserve my money back. I was told I would receive it.

I am a small business owner and this company approved by purchase order work to be done at one of the properties they managed. The work was completed a year ago and they have not replied to emails or returned any of my phone calls! We are now going to take legal action!

Trash everywhere outside, loud tenents, teenagers in the stairwells hanging all night, i had spine surgery and needed a 1 st floor apartment subited everythibg 5 months later they told me im denied so im stuck on 3 rd floor barly able to walk and now a fee months ago i put in a reasonable acomadations for a walk in tub the agency im working with will pay for and still mo word i call anf call snd stop by and noe calling corporate gets you nowhere they never answer they phones but they quick with sn eviction notice if you 3 days late on your rent but cant get hou any results. Experiencia negativa: I live in Willow Glen Apts in New Castle, Indiana. Our manager has two jobs with Millennia and is missing from our property the majority of the time. Our property is declining rapidly with residents going without air conditioning, hot water and strangers coming into our common areas because security doors have not locked in over a year. Many residents are ready to sign a petition to have the manager removed. The manager is expecting residents to take care of the landscaping and clean up. We do not have a maintenance man because the company will not pay a decent wage. Such a shame because this is a nice property when cared for appropriately.

Experiencia negativa: They are slum lords profiting from the government assistance while their tenants live in apartments that are not maintained or up to code!! It is inexcusable. You can't speak to anyone at Corporate. The same lady always answers the phone with the same I'm not responsible speech and takes your message but you never get a returned call or problem solved. Carriage Hill Apartments in Roanoke Rapids NC is an unkempt disaster area. While I'm sure these company owners are living the good life from our tax paying money! The manager isn't even paying the water bill or maintaining the grass being cut. They need to be condemned and this company needs to pay to relocate the tenants to decent housing!

Experiencia negativa: Very frustrating.....I had previously lived at Hilltop Apartments in Hickory NC for three years...no problems at all. I moved away for a year and a half and my old apartment had became available so I moved back. Well, all was going well until my heat and air went out October 17, 2024. I had to borrow fans and heaters from the neighbors and later was lent a tower heater from the office. Cold weather was moving in in November with still nothing done as vendors were not being paid so unable to get it repaired. I'm a disabled senior on section 8 housing choice voucher. Finally I contacted WPCOG who I have my voucher with. They came to inspect my unit. The inspector found a few things that needed repairs and wrote them about it. Of course they had 24 hours to correct them....nope. I was then placed on abatement....for the second time in 2024 due to issues with my apartment. I was given a new voucher, again, so this time I used it and moved. After finding my new apartment I moved out December 31, 2024. My apartment was left in move-in ready...minus heat/air. I'm still waiting for my deposit refund check. I have kept in touch with the office at Hilltop, corporate office via phone answering center and emails...NO RESPONSE Jessica, assistant manager, she's awesome. I feel for her as she has had numerous managers over the past 5+ years. She's not getting any response from them either. I'm sorry but when you rely on disability income that $800 deposit refund is very much needed. I've read on here that some had to go to the Better Business Bureau for any response...I suppose I will too. Legal Aid gave me a lot of information and also, in NC, after 30 days they owe interest on unpaid deposit refunds as well. Hope this helps.

Experiencia negativa: Moved out of Valencia Way Apts in Jax Fl to see that my credit changed due to them putting a $3657 balance on there. Due them not moving me out of the system the balance is rent for June July August and September which I was not in possession of the unit and gave verbal written and email notice of vacate!! Corporate will not remove the fraudulent balance off my credit so I am currently going through a legal team to sue when all of this could have been so easy and less stressful!!! Not to mentioned Valerie the front office manager did a walk through of my apt when I moved out and admitted she never moved me out of the system and that they would fix it and never did !!! I got accepted for a section 8 housing choice voucher and Valencia way office management had to sign paperwork for Jax Fl section 8 office showing I didn’t have a balance before I had moved which they did and I have proof of as well!!!

Jamie Evan’s who works there calls me about the situation. We hurry out there, drive all the way up to Noblesville to get the fuse that was not cheap at all. We replace it and it was now after hours on a Friday night and got the power back on. It’s now been almost 4 months and we haven’t seen payment. Jamie has a different excuse every time I call and to why I haven’t received payment.

Experiencia negativa: I got a call from Frank Penavic II about a job cleaning out four apartment buildings at JFK Towers in Durham, NC. One of the units even had blood from someone who had passed away in the apartment 3–6 months prior. During the hiring process, Frank was easy to reach, and communication was smooth. But once the job was completed, getting in touch with him became nearly impossible. They completely scammed me and my team! I have called over 30 times on the neighbors next door harassing me and using intimidation tactics against me to silence me ! I’ve also told your landlord you hired for Lakeside Gardens to help me since October 1st when the harassment started but because her son is dating the girl next door the harassment continued ! Experiencia negativa: Slums Lords!! Over charging for homes and not fixing a damn thing! DO Not Live Here! I couldn't even move in when I was supposed to because the house was filthy nothing was fixed and they paid a cheap carpet installer. My carpet starting shredding 1 day later. The plumbing is terrible the insulation sucks. And None of what I complained about when I moved in was fixed in the 3yrs that I was there. NOT WORTH THE RENT PRICE!

You ask the staff for advise on personal issues that are supposed to be a secret I signed a document for that reason. But they tell others your business and are rude. Experiencia negativa: These awful people own a high rise apartment complex in Springfield, Missouri, that houses many disabled and handicapped people. The only elevator in the building has not worked for 3 months! The City of Springfield has had to turn it over to the Federal Government because these people refuse to do the right thing! Shame!
Experiencia negativa: Luckily I escaped MHM ASAP... My son still lives in one of their buildings. On writing this it is August 2024 he and several other residents have not had air conditioning since May. The maintenance man flat out told him no one will come and fix it because they know millennia is not going to pay them. The building in question has a smoke alarm system that is hyperactive and goes off in every single apartment instead of just one. The alarm is deafening. It is not your normal alarm but loud enough to wake the dead and the grandchildren of the dead. Local fire officials basically said there's nothing they can do to make it less sensitive so residents have to put up with it or move out. This is a senior disabled building where most people don't have that sort of money set aside. I moved into that same building where he lives in October of 2021 and in November had three other applications in elsewhere. Horrible building, horrible management the problem is also that they go into these small towns and buy up most of the rental properties, especially low income senior properties when residents get fed up with the lack of management at their buildings they very often have very little choice of where else to go in that same community to escape Milllennia. Calls and emails go on unattended. Do your research, millennia housing management is being sued across the United states, and HUD is threatening them at this time to eliminate all federal subsidized housing contracts. There is even a social justice group of tenants against the management company, that's how bad it is! Do yourself and your family a favor and never rent from millennia housing management.
Experiencia negativa: We lived at Lexington village apartments for a year. We were told by management we would receive our full deposit back after moving out as we left the apartment in excellent condition. We moved out in December 2023 and have yet to receive our deposit or a call back on the 20+ messages we left at their call center - they’ve told us “the people you need to contact are out for an undisclosed period of time and while they can leave a message they are unable to assist.” It has been 7 months and we’ve heard nothing. UPDATE: We left a Better Business Bureau complaint and FINALLY received our deposit 7.5 months later thanks to actions taken by the BBB. The crazy thing is, is despite all of our messages left at the call center not once over the course of those months did they reach out to update us, acknowledge the situation, or apologize (not that we had high expectations). This is predatory to residents who seriously rely on that money and who may not know the resources available to get it back. Going to a lawyer would just be even more costly and they take advantage of that. Anyways, if anyone is having difficulty getting their deposit back don’t waste your time - maybe leave 1-2 messages at the call center and if that gets you nowhere then go leave a complaint on BBB, it was much more efficient.
Experiencia negativa: This management company is a complete scam they do not give back security deposits you have to take legal action and be firm because this is very illegal and unprofessional they inconvenience you but the corporate office is never available to do their job. I’m currently suing them in court since they think this is a joke.
Experiencia negativa: They rip off handicapped people by taking their money and giving them slumlord housing where basic needs are not met. They lie about their efforts to solve these problems and often take months to even acknowledge a problem.
Experiencia negativa: The owner of roughly 275 apartment complexes- most of which are affordable housing and the conditions they keep the complexes in is absolutely inhumane. Springfield, MO Jenny Lind complex primarily houses low income elderly and those with disabilities. They have not had working elevators for 5 weeks forcing numerous elderly and disabled people to walk many flights of stairs and many are unable to do so. A man confined to a wheelchair couldn’t leave his home for 5 weeks. Absolutely horrific!! The definition of greed and lack of compassion. There are hardly enough words available to describe and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Experiencia negativa: This company owns Southeast Apartments in Pine Bluff Arkansas. Well they don’t care all they want is their money. I’m gon be heard. The landlord at this property is messy. She told my business to a resident out there and that resident told her family member and it got back to me. I knew she was telling it because the resident family was my friend. She also gave me a 10 day abandonment notice which she told someone else to tell me which wasn’t professional at all. I was still paying my rent and she knew exactly where I was because she called and verified that I worked there plus I renewed my lease in February/March 2024 and she put me out in April 2024 right after I paid my rent and then threw all my stuff out or gave it away to the residents out there. I will be reporting this company and the landlord to HUD. This isn’t right it’s wrong. Since yall don’t care about yall property or anything. YOU GON CARE ABOUT THIS. I got put out because my son was 17 and at home by hisself really and his brother moved out a week before. The landlord worried about that but not all the drugs and guns on government property and running a drug premises around a school and churches tho. DONT RENT NOTHING FROM THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!! The maintenance man BUSTA or David ain’t bout nothing either he tells your business too.

Experiencia negativa: I live at one of the rental property and had to wait over 6 months for a new hot water heater. They put it in the day before HUD came. Asked for my toilet to be replaced and the floor fixed and still not fixed. Had to fix my own kitchen sink. Apartment was never clean or painted before I moved in. Tash is always on the ground, people don't pickup after their animals, some people have 4 cars. Half the time the laundry room is dirty. The new property manager is great. I could go on and on about this place but I don't have all the time in the world.

Been more than 30 days after turning in key and it looks like yet another demand letter that is certified as they love to play dumb in court because I still haven’t received my deposit back. They never fix anything and judge believes these fools in court even though they lied and I proved them in court. They will gaslight, manipulate and retaliate against you if you complain ( told my neighbor that I was a bad person when i wanted them to fix (not patch) things up). If I wanted it patched, I could’ve done it better and a whole lot cheaper than their feeble attempts. I had 6 busted pipes in 8 months and was forced to move out for my health sake and even then they tried to say that I had to give 30 day notice though that’s not what was said in court. None of this is slander as it’s the true and I have everything documented with pictures, video, emails, court documents. Oh, don’t forget the Airbnb next door that was a revolving door of druggies that banged on my door random hours of the night ( they are lucky I’m a deep sleeper because if you wake me up, I’m not a happy camper at all). Best part, police picked up someone why I was in court regarding these issues because the marijuana won’t stop though they advertise it as a non smoking property. They lied to the AG and said that people had to smoke further away from the building. Last time I did math,25 ft was closer than 50 ft though they told the AG it was further and they couldn’t even remember which closet they tore out. Said it was the one between my bedroom and bathroom when it really was the left closet one so I think these people just say whatever sounds good to them. Avoid them when they come back under a different name as they are being forced to sell their properties. Also look up the $5 Billion suit and other pending litigation. Hopefully judges wise up before we have to also get them investigated by the bar because last time I checked, police reports are admissible into court as evidence without the police officer showing up.

Experiencia negativa: Me and my wife and Disabled daughter were living in an out of the hotels since Memorial Day 2023 got approved for apartment in July the same year nobody told us. Fall 2023 we had no place to go so we moved in with a tentant one property of Elm Terrace Apartments in Duncan,OK paying her $200 per month while we waited for our apartment to get ready the property manager knew about our agreement informed the tentant no money should be taken from us because of government property but she did. It's 2024 April still #5 on the list since last year have no where else to go so we've been waiting for something that seems like it's not gonna happen. So many units are in terrible condition and nobody is working on any of them. So after paying rent all this time only to leave for 4 hours Good Friday 2024 come back home unable to gain entrance to the residence police got involved property manager was hard to contact because her number keeps private the ooffic phone doesn't get answered all. We were forced to sleep outside with our disabled daughter publicly shamed property manager knew we had no place go said sorry and left outside to sleep wit food inside the apartment for my daughter other items of belonging it's so hard to understand why this is happening to us.

Experiencia negativa: Update: I still don't have my accurate rent amount and never will as the office staff misplaced/lost my receipts/documents for my medical expenses. I was supposed to know this amount 39 days before the change, which is to say in late June 2023. I was coerced into signing paperwork twice. I was clear and so were they. If you don't sign this RIGHT NOW you will lose your subsidy (which I had been told is illegal since I was waiting on them and the amount is inaccurate due to their negligence handling my paperwork). My DPOA and I were given multiple reassurances that the correct rent would be done before the first of the year. More paperwork went missing. The stress of living in an environment like this can't be overstated. The stress is literally killing me. I have developed serious health issues, including treatment resistant hypertension. I have many repairs that need attention. We haven't had new furnace filters in over a year. If you're looking for housing for a beloved elderly or disabled family member, please look elsewhere. The building, staff, and residents have potential, but this company?

I completed a rodent treatment at South Park Village in Laurel, MS on 5/30 and have yet to receive payment or any information regarding why I have not received payment. The property manager(Nadia) then informed me that they are notorious for not paying their bills and that if I wanted payment I would need to take them to court like everybody else. Nadia stated that it was my problem not hers and provided their corporate number that connects you to a call center that only has the ability to "leave a message". Was told to wash it. I told her it will fall apart had mold around my window 2 years ago from water was told to clean it with bleach water to take the mold off. One off my burners dosent work for abaute 3 month. They keep telling me tomorrow. I have called email called when my daghter weak up hot or cold I call the after hrs no one calls me then when they do they tell me tomorrow. Is there anyway I can ask for a transfer.

My client is a stroke victim with a compromised immune system and her kitchen has been backed up with sewage for multiple weeks. I'm making this post because the leasing rep told me that someone would be at my clients home by noon today and of course no one has been here and she hasn't heard from anyone. The health department has been out multiple times. I've called the corporate office as of today and I will likely be calling the news later. Do better! THIS IS DISGUSTING!!!

Experiencia negativa: I rent in fremont and this company owns it. I have had severe mold and severe bugs and electricity issues and my floors are all coming up for over 5 months. The news ,13 abc will be here to check it out. I've tried calling,emailing,tagging them on social media, leaving reviews on renters sites hoping someone reaches out to me and even Facebook messages as well and still not one call back or email or anything. I sent a certified letter to take them to court along with the on site manager but they accepted the letter but refused to sign it so they don't have to go to court. Its fine. My rent will go to escrow!!I have so much proof and documents. It's sad that a tenant has to go through this. I pay 750 a month on time for low income housing and it was just remodeled but its worse than before. Mold is in my hvac and my whole downstairs is unable to be used and noone from this company cares but the on site manager claims we are waiting for them to decide what to do. Its been 5 months. I'm done waiting. My November rent will be placed into escrow and this will probably be aired on the major news channels

Experiencia negativa: Right now our housekeeper is mowing the grass with a borrowed mower because our regular lawn service isn't getting paid! This property in Bay City, Michigan is pretty to look at, but none of our vendors get paid, so then quit. Yet the rents go up 4% each year. This is a 55 older community and there have been many problems over the last year with furnaces which spewed carbon dioxide (found during an inspection ). Some of us called local news and appeared on TV with our complaints. Suddenly 65 furnaces got replaced! It's not very comforting to know that Millenia might be in financial trouble.
Experiencia negativa: Vendors Beware… Started Security Services for their property in Fort Wayne IN in May. Provided 40hrs a week security and have only received one payment from the client. Services we’re cancelled in August and they have not paid for services rendered after several attempts. Client owes almost $18K in past due services and is refusing to pay. Won’t return emails, phone calls or text. If you call the main number in Ohio all you get is a call center that takes a message claiming that there is no one to take the call. Have sent two certified payment demand letters, next step is legal action.. Do not work for this company!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Please beware of this company. I applied for an apartment under Millennia Housing Management Ltd in Charlotte. I actually submitted every documents and paid an amount of $150 for admission and application. To my utmost dismay, the documents and money with my name wasn't in their system. I paid the money to Mrs. Alexandra Thompson and she gave me a receipt with assurances that someone is leaving the apartment but failed to process my application. I went there after 3 weeks and I was told my name is not in their system. While I showed my receipts, for a refund, no one has answered my plea. I will encourage people not to do business with them because they are not reliable. I'm shocked and can't believe this happens in America. I am still demanding my money to be refunded since they didn't provide any service for the money they took from me.

We moved things around to make it happen and we did it, they asked us to plant flowers afterwards and we did it. We submitted invoices for payments and they didn’t pay us telling us invoices are in process 3 months later no payment and they won’t even respond to our emails now. And to top it off they contracted and friends company to do lawn care they serviced them from May to July and no payment, they told them the same thing. Now legal actions have to be taken….

They have falsely accused me of non payment of rent while on the low income program, but yet according to their records I was able to stay in the apartment a whole year without paying, and I was never evicted for this or informed of this miss payment until 2 years after moving out I seen it reported on my credit report. I have contacted Poets Village the property I lived at and they tell me “well can you provide proof that you paid rent for that one month of nonpayment?” Of course not it was how many years ago? The proof should be that in 24 months I always paid my rent, (except for one month they claim,a year before I move out), I was not evicted from the property( I moved because my financial situation improved ) and when I moved out you refunded me my security deposit. This company will take advantage of you and ruin your rental and credit history for their gain. Do not rent from them, it’s not safe. I have filed claim against them with HUD, reached out to local news station, Ohio Attorney General and NAACP since writing this review and reading other’s reviews. Something has to be done.

Experiencia negativa: Warning to contractors. Do not do work for Millennia Housing. They called us on March 14, 2023, and said they had a big inspection on March 31, 2023, and they needed to get the work done before then or they would be in violation. We quickly went out and provided them an estimate for the work. They accepted our estimate and we rearranged our schedule to get the work done. We completed the work so they could beat their inspection deadline. We were told we would be paid within 30 days. It is now approaching 5 months and we still have not been paid. We have sent numerous emails and left numerous voicemails with no response. Be prepared to take legal action to collect your money.

The property managers say they have no vendors left because owner won’t pay and would rather settle out of court. Really messed up and evil, I will never support any of this companies establishments, if I would it would only be supporting evil.

Experiencia negativa: I am a contractor that has a solid reputation with coral management and K and D management and I would like to say that millenia has screwed me out of 14k by simply not paying for work completed after said proposals were "accepted" and work was completed satisfactory to both parties.... i do masonry repairs and am damn good at it!
