Experiencia negativa: It was much!!!! cleaner when I left. I stayed in the apartment maybe 30 nights. Used it because traveled during the pandemic for my job. Understood giving up my deposit because I left early. 2 years later collections calls for a charge for paint. Not enough to fight in court over. Even with before and after pics. Shady. Be ware! P.S they didn't contact me before sending this bogus charge to collections.
Experiencia negativa: Do not rent from them. When the derecho hit they left me without a window until 12-31 after they tossed the window part that was busted. They never replaced any wet drywall they just painted over the stains with kilz primer. When I moved out they sent me a notice they were keeping my deposit and I owed$200 for damages caused by the derecho.
Experiencia negativa: I'm buying some property and looking to rent out the space. I heard these were the biggest guys in town but had a reputation for poor customer service. Relatives have lived in some of their managed properties before and complained that the supposedly secure facilities had persistently broken gates and insecure access . We drove by the office and even though we were there an hour before they were supposed to have closed the place looked deserted. It actually looked abandoned. Dark stains on the carpet and even though the lights were turned on there was no sense that the waiting area was ever staffed or people were expected to be there. I called and left a message but have not heard back from them. Although they have the reputation of being the largest property manager in town I don't think I'll be doing business with them. If this is how they're going to treat me I'm afraid how they'll treat their tenants.
Experiencia negativa: surprised they're still in business, i had a cute little 1 bed on the SE side they charged me over $700 in cleaning and maintenance fees when I moved out. So they basically screwed me out of my deposit and had the nerve to demand $200 more. I kept the apartment spotless which blew my mind. Then they listed the apartment not even 1 week later. (probably wouldn't have been able to do that if I didn't leave the apartment as well as I did.)
Experiencia negativa: I'm not certain why you are not returning calls regarding not renewing our sons lease. He has been hospitalized 7 times due to mental illness since the Aug. Yet you choose to send a non renewal notice AND sell his apt building to Spire within a month of each other . Explain please

Experiencia positiva: I have rented from Eagle Property for nearly 2 years. We live in a duplex on the NE side. We found the place clean when we moved in and the things that did need repaired were done promptly and professionally. I do have open communication with the landlord, which does help, but I have never put in a request for maintenance and had it go undone. They are pleasant to work with. I would certainly rent another property from them.

After we left they tried to keep most of our deposit and say the holes and marks in the carpet are from use and fromthe previous tenants. They are the WORST company in Cedar Rapids to work with. Document every hole and piece of dirt or you won’t see anything back on the deposit. They will also charge you for storm damage to carpet and holes they made while repairing the walls

Experiencia negativa: So what i would really like to know about Eagle Property is why they told my mother they had absolutely NO APARTMENTS available right now, but when browsing their website, i found that that was a blatant LIE as they have several properties available right now. No wonder you guys are the worst property management in town. You should be ashamed.
Experiencia negativa: They will charge you for absolutely everything when you move out even when the problem never existed they will create one. The washer/dryer in the unit did not work for a a full year and I was still charged.
Experiencia negativa: So Ive been trying to rent an apartment on 5th ave In marion for past month now. First time they said apt. 7 is ready so I pay them my deposit, right after I pay deposit they said it was rented out... isn't that something you'd let someone know before they pay? So they said they would hold another apt. And it would be ready on the 2nd, it is now the 11th and they are not being very descriptive of when it's available, are they scamming me or will I get my aparrtment that I payed deposit for over a month ago? I made sure to keep all my receipts

Experiencia negativa: We've been living at 116 Jacolyn Dr sw apt 5 for almost 11 yrs now and we had a problem.The one who lives in apt 9 are noisy and as if there's a earthquake eveeytime they walk.They stomp their feet so hard that as if the ceiling will colapse. They make noise from 10 pm to midnight,, i sent an email to Jane and the tenant in that apartment denied that they're making noise every night. Theyr,'re doing it deliberately to annoy us. If you want proof stay with us for a night. They don't care cause they're paying their rent too like us.We're thinking of looking for another apartment, we can't take it anymore, The management won't even talk to them.Its so frustrating.
Experiencia negativa: I had an apartment through them from 2016 to 2018. We told them multiple times throughout the years that we had a mold issue in our bathroom and living room. That our blinds needed replaced and that our carpet needed replaced. They ignored us all those years. Once we moved out they took care of the mold, blinds and carpet and sent us a BILL for 2k saying it was our responsibility to pay. Got sent to collections

I wanted to shake handw with Gabby as a thank you gesture for accommodating my visit and she said NO THANK YOU in a pretty condescending manner. She was pretty rude as well. Not only that but $740 for an apartment with cat piss and misc. stains all over the carpet. Hard pass!! I'll look elsewhere.
Experiencia negativa: Applied for an apartment in fair fax was told we had to pay an application fee so we paid the fee the day after we paid the fee they said they rented that unit out it out 2 days ago and it was filled and refused to refund our money. They knew that they rented the unit out but they still took our money any way and said it is nonrefundable. this not how you do business i will not recommend any one to do business with this Property Management Company Ever!!!

Experiencia negativa: My landlord sold part of his property to them in November and it has been nothing but issues. We were paying $45 dollars a garage that was sold to EPM. We had already paid our landlord for that month. They tried to charge us directly. We told them the landlord has already contacted them and will be paying them for November. We paid them for December on time, a week later they sent a letter saying we owe them and a late fee. Our bank shows that they cashed the check. So we had to contact them and let them know. January, paid on time, they send a letter a week later saying we hadn't paid and owe a late fee and our rent would go up to $65 in March. Well our bank shows they already cashed it. We contacted them and let them know. We moved our stuff out at the end of January thinking we were just done with them. Nope, get a letter in the mail, we now owe them January, which they say is late, February, which is late and they want $100. Mind you the paper behind the bill they sent us, shows a move out date of January 31st. The level of unprofessionalism is profound. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EAGLE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!
Experiencia negativa: So I took my daughter today to view a property that they manage on 3633 Center Pt Rd NE, arrived early and waited till 15 minutes past our appointment called the office (spoke to Amanda)to make sure we were in the right place she verified that we were said the leasing agent should be there and that she would call the leasing agent and have her call me. The leasing agent Lin then sent me a text message saying that she was previously there but left because she didn't see us. In fact that we were there 15 minutes before our appointment and 20 minutes after I then called the office again and talked to Amanda going to complain because peoples time is valuable and to important to be wasting waiting for her to hang up on me. They are beyond unprofessional and since talking to a manager is something obviously can't be done maybe the owners of the apartment or manager will see this and correct their employees behavior!
I am very sorry that happened. I will look into this and do my best to make sure it doesn't happen again. It is very unfortunate you had waited so long and did not get to view the unit. Sincere apologies to you.
Experiencia negativa: The only reason why am giving them one star is because Angela that works at Eagle property management is a very nice lady and she understands when a tenant calls and asked for something she takes care of it however Deb who is in charge of maintenance is a different story see I have called and complained about what had happened today in the letter they have since they said that they were going to around the building to take care of a pest control problem there’s never been a problem here and I’ve been here for over year and the woman who lives upstairs has been here for over six years there’s never a problem until this one lady moves in and said they were roaches in the building which is not true there’s never been a problem with that I’m assuming she brought them with her anyway nowhere in this letter says that a pest control employee is going to let themselves into my apartment my apartment is locked for a reason I lived in Anamosa and I was attacked twice by meth head who broke into my apartment they’re all females that live in this apartment and two of us have been attacked before and eagle property management knows this but they went ahead and let a man who works for pest-control let himself into her apartment while we were in our apartment I was in the bathroom because I have been sick for days he kept pounding on the door well He knocked only twice and decided he was going to let himself in I yelled stop don’t open my door I am coming He got it halfway open to and then I ran to the door I cracked it open a little he just barged in he said I’m pest control I said you’re not allowed to just barge into my apartment well they didn’t tell you I was coming I knew he was coming but he was supposed to look around the apartment building and in the hallway not an individual apartment just a man by himself knowing that there’s all females that live here we’re all single women that live here and a lot of us are over the age of 50 there was nobody from Eagle property management with him it’s just some man with very tiny little riding on a jacket saying pest control without my glasses I looked and it looks like plumbing something anyway I don’t think it’s right for him just walking to my apartment I don’t know this man and what gives them the right to just walk in well Eagle property management gave him the right to just walk in after a week ago I had discussed this with Eagle property management Deb said don’t worry about it he’s not going to come into the apartment I said OK do I have to leave or what’s going on she said no don’t worry about he’s not coming into the apartment he’s going to look around the apartment building in the hallway and apartment to where the call came from so knowing that I was comfortable it wasn’t a big deal to me I said OK no problem until this morning when somebody who I did not know who had no identification on him saying he was from pest control ID badge with a photo nothing barges into my apartment with the dirty work boots on walking through my apartment opening my cabinets looking around it’s like really seriously what the heck is going on in the beginning I was very angry with the pest control person but later on when I found out eagle property management said it was OK for him just barge into my apartment when I spoke to Marion Police Department eagle property management knows that there’s only women that live here in this building they knew two of us have been attacked before they did not send out a female with this man they did not send any proper documentation that he was going to be coming into her apartment not even a phone call nothing I am so disappointed had anything it happened to me Eagle property management would’ve been sued big-time you don’t allow other people to just have a key to my apartment and walk in when they feel like it knowing that I was home and asking him to stop I no longer feel secure or comfortable in my apartment I already suffer from post dramatic stress disorder because of the break-ins in Anamosa
Experiencia negativa: Engle will help out with your rent if you are behind. When you are trying to move into another building to rent from them telling you for approved giving you the address then telling you don’t get approved. Because there excuse was the apartment smells like cat pee. Will the catbox is in the living because I don’t have anywhere else to put it. So I can’t rent through them not in another apartment building.
Experiencia negativa: I have had a negative experience with this leasing company. I submitted my notice of intent to vacate only a few days late, and got charged with another month's rent. Because of the fact that the companies switched half way through my lease contract, I had no idea that I would be charged for a late intent to vacate. They haven't replied to my emails about it, and it has been well over a month since I sent two of them. Along with this, I was charged $100 to replace one blind with a single broken piece. They are ridiculous.
Experiencia negativa: These people are the most rediculous. They are unprofessional. If you need something fixed, forget about it. Most the buildings are owned by slum lords. There is one off of Brandon Ave in Hiawatha. The aluminum siding is in horrible shape. Windows are in rough shape. They do not follow Iowa renters laws. If you do rent with Eagle, you will take pride in living in a dump or an overpriced apartment. As a matter of fact my deposit wasn't returned. Just so everyone knows the below reply is false. But you can read the many other reviews and make up your own mind.

I moved out of my apartment and it was much nicer than when I moved into this dirty place and they are trying to charge me $1100 in fees that don't exist! Never even had a picture on the wall and they want money for paint too? And I also was the only person that never smoked there and everyone else breaks the lease rules and smokes inside and it smells all the time, plus they never fixed my garage like I asked, or put an air filter in my AC. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM PEOPLE.
Experiencia negativa: The absolute WORST property management to go through. Moved out last month and they took the whole deposit and want me to pay more money to them. We were very clean and quiet tenants, while the rest of the apartment build was the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. I have pictures of people doing meth in our laundry room and leaving their needles out. Wanted over 100 dollars for “general cleaning” when I spent more than one day scrubbing every inch of the place. When we moved in their were empty beer cans in the bath room and broken glass in our front closet and they did nothing about it. They charged us extreme amounts for basic repairs. DO NOT RENT THROUGH THEM THEY WILL SCAM YOU FOR EVERY PENNY!
Experiencia negativa: So to keep this short (long) my wife and I are very quiet and clean people. When we moved out (due to many aspects about the place) we had the carpets and walls cleaned. This place was spotless and cleaner than when we moved in..... I even fixed water damage in the garage that was there when we moved in because EPM took over a year and did nothing after showing me the place "Oh, wow that is bad I will have a work order put in." Enjoy the fees listed in the attached image (google is verifying the image before posting). $90 for blinds replacements that were never touched. Also googled these old metal blinds and they are $15 a pop and there are two in the entire place. $140 for damaged paint (when we moved in one bedroom had a red spot likely from bed sheets and we cleaned this and other pre-existing marks off the walls.....) so spotless walls. $70.40 for general damage...... I wonder what that was for seeing as we fixed damage that was there on move in (reference garage). $54 for general cleaning after we cleaned every square inch spotless. They moved someone in the day after (I have a written email from management confirming this) we were out so clearly their charged cleaning, painting, and damage fixing NEVER HAPPENED. They still charged for it though.. Don't trust just me who will lose over $360 in miscellaneous fees for things that never actually happened and won't change for the next tenants.. trust all the other reviews saying they scam people on the way out. If this is what I lost after the place was cleaner than original move in, I can't imagine what some of these people have had to pay. Good luck and if you are unwise enough, like we were, to choose EPM then make sure to take good photos of every inch of the apartment so you can get screwed out of money as little as possible. Write down every single scratch, dent, stain, or mark in the place. DO IT. Truly a scam living here!

Experiencia negativa: I applied through the eagle property website and it was an $80 application fee for a rental unit. The night before we were supposed to look at the property they called to say they rented it and would not return our application fee even though they had no more units to offer us anywhere. They scammed us for $80 so be careful.
Experiencia negativa: Worst renting experience I have ever had, do not rent from them. The office workers contradict themselves with their own policies when planning to move out and vacate the property. Some of them are also extremely rude and hung up on me after trying to have them explain to me why the would not let me schedule an inspection where I could be there so they couldn't rip me off. Judging by most of these reviews that's what they do to rip people off out of their deposits. They will be hearing from my lawyer at this rate.

Experiencia fantástica: Eagle Property Management was really amazing to rent from. I had very few problems if any, they even upgraded fixtures that made my electric bill under $40 every month.
Experiencia negativa: This place isn't even worth one star i currently live there my roof was leaking for almost 5-6 months took them over a month to even come and fix it the first time wouldn't give me anything off my rent for the trouble i had to move my whole bedroom into my living room. And then i was told i didn't pay my deposit which i did before i moved in and they had an old employ stealing and so they tried to tell me i owed them another deposit i was like heck no. they have a bug problem they suck at keeping the place clean the people that work there are rude i will never ever rent fromthem again and i can't wait to move out of my place.

They bought out the building I was living in and the place was great and well kept the whole time I lived there until epm took over and the whole place went under I had a leaky ceiling and it took several times of contacting them and several months that til they fixed it. When it was winter it took them weeks before hiring someone to plow and shovel the parking lot and sidewalks. I had to move all my stuff out and walk through literally 2 feet of snow cause they never took care of it. Then when I wanted to leave and went to put in my 30 day notice they blew me off and gave me the wrong directions and later told me I never notified them I wanted to move out so now they are trying to charge me a whole months rent for "improper notice". And on top of that they have charged me so much in damages when I cleaned the heck out of my apartment when I left and it spotless. Under their move out standards. I would be delighted to see epm go out of business and remove the awful plight they have put on this community

Experiencia negativa: I rented with Eagle property for a summer. They obviously did not care about maintaining the unit/building and ignored multiple maintenance requests. The unit was in terrible condition on our move in date, the entire kitchen and both bathroom were sticky almost everywhere. They made no offer to clean the unit prior to my move in. Also they tried to keep nearly my entire deposit for pre-existing damages to the unit. I left the unit in better condition then when I moved in. I will not be renting from Eagle Property again.

Experiencia negativa: Everything is fine and dandy, so far (I lived here for 3 years) expect for my rent! This is the 3rd month in a row they have LOST my rent. It has happened in the past. It is also happening to my mother who lives at a different location. And a few other tenants. I paid rent a little late this month, they just now called saying they can't find it and I have til the end of the day to come up with it otherwise my family and I are evicted. Of course I cant find my receipt. Talking to three different people in the office, one lady hanging up on me. Telling me "all well" "I don't know what to tell you" "That's not my problem" Giving me the full run around to my questions. They do not have cameras in or out office also not recording anything besides if rent was paid. I feel very disrespected!!
Experiencia negativa: Didn’t have heat for half the winter they would send someone out and they told me that the heaters was so old they didn’t give out any heat I have four small children ... so I moved out when my lease was over and a yeR later I see on my credit they are charging me 1600 dollars in damages .. I have the list from the damaged property before I moved in THAT THEY SIGNED .. the front door was carved all over , the wooden stairs fell down in the back of our unit .. these are scum landlords .. I NEVER write reviews but I’m going out my way for this case . I plan on getting a lawyer and taking them to court . I have all the proof I need
Experiencia negativa: Eagle property management is completely a scam. Avoid it if possible!!! They will scam every dollar they can when you move out because they can't find any new tenants. They put all expense on you regardless how well you maintained the apartment. For example, we cleaned everything, and reported all the maintenance request before we move out. But they not only took all our deposit for things by reasons like "you didn't replace the batteries of smoker detector", but also sent me another invoice that wants extra money. I attached some pictures I took before moving. The whole staying experience was a disaster too! When I first moved in, they didn't even clean the apartment. And they never fix anything until you really urged them to do. I wish I can give them 0 star, but I can't! Now I am considering to get my lawyer involved to solved issue. Don't move into their apartments, there are tons of other options in town.

You be better off living at a campground. Oh took them a year to fix my heaters right. Apartment flooded from them never doing maintenance on the sump pump. Worst place I've ever lived.

Experiencia negativa: Eagle Property Management is the worst people to rent from. I highly recommend staying away and not going to them. Our last apt we lived in, we were force to leave due to health hazards. Black molds were building up from the laundry room into ours. Many issues with water leaks and bugs. We broke our lease early to moved immediately! I gave them written notices I made my rent payment on time. I even left with a cleaned place and nothing damaged. I want everyone to know these people are not respectful or responsible with their properties. They do not care for you or your health. They are greedy and will do anything to receive money from you in any way! Share this around, Everyone need to know what they’re about.
Experiencia negativa: Worst property management I've ever delt with. I met a property owner he had me fill out an application and pay a fee for it. He called me back a few days later told me I was approved for the apartment. He then took my deposit and first month rent. He gave me my keys, I was ecstatic, I was 7 months pregnant with a 10 month old baby, I was living in a hotel paying so much to live there, was a happy day. The next month he tells me to take the rent to Eagle Property, so I do. I go in pay them my rent, they proceeded to tell me I needed to fill out a new application so they could put it on file, ok I do no problem. I then go in to pay the next months rent both times I was on time on the first of the month. They seem friendly. Now I'm like 2 weeks from delivering my son, I get a letter from them, it states thank you for being a wonderful tenant but unfortunately your application through us has been denied for not sufficient rental history and you have 30 days to vacate. Why would they do that? I was about to have my baby. My mother had passed away and was the reason I was living in a hotel, my ex husband put all of our rental homes in his name so no I didnt have rental history, worst time of my life. I was going to be homeless with 2 babys. I offered to pay 6 months rent up front to show that I wouldn't be a problem they denied the payment and wanted me to move. They also did this to my neighbor, but not the downstairs tenants. I would not recommend this agency to any one.

Experiencia negativa: How this place stays in business baffles me. My wife and I rented an apartment many years ago when we first moved to Cedar Rapids (Jacolyn Corners). At the time these were nice, quiet places , and we intended to stick around for a while. We had a top floor unit, so as everyone knows...if you live on the floor below, you WILL hear footsteps, and other signs of life upstairs. In our case, the neighbor below was this princess and her meathead of a boyfriend who constantly harassed us for making too much noise (stuff like vacuuming, laundry, and quietly watching TV). I handled each complaint politely, and thought nothing of it and even went as far as taking my shoes off to soften my steps. Then one night, they called the cops on us, we had a another couple over and we were quietly watching a movie, having pizza. Cop peered into our apartment, joked with us about how ridiculous the call was and we went about our business. Few weeks later, we get a letter from Eagle saying we were being "kicked out" from too many noise complaints from the neighbor below us. So we found ourselves scrambling to find a place to live (had to move into a friend's basement for a month while we sorted this out), and then to add insult to injury, they kept our deposit for one dime-sized scuff mark in a closet that we didn't clean up, and our trays under our stove burners were "dirty"...even though my wife and I regularly cleaned them. The apartment was immaculate. Lesson learned, and I hope others heed my warning- DON"T RENT FROM THESE CROOKS. We were good tenants, we paid on time, we really lived quietly, didn't intentionally bother anyone, etc. We should have taken them to court, but at the time we were younger, new to town, and after the unplanned note to vacate... we were too broke to do anything about it. These guys are scum, and they treat you like scum- DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!

And they will keep your entire deposit even if there is nothing wrong with your place when you move out. Would not recommend to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: They are very poor management, I wonder if the owner is aware or even cares! They have become slumb lords and do not care about their tenants, they have the WORST cleaning crew, I had to clean the kitchen and bathroom before I moved in, which were filthy , I threw up when I actually lifted the toilet stool top , the stove and fridge were filthy, the person who showed apt to noted everything and said they would need to contact their cleaning crew but when I got keys and went in EVERYTHING was the same, I wanted to cancel the agreement right but instead they discounted me for the cleaning! the floor vents were disgusting, filled with dirt, trash n cigarette butts( that I had to vacuum out myself) I would not recommend or EVER rent from them AGAIN!! Worst experience of my life with a property management company !
Experiencia negativa: Absolutely terrible company to rent from. Save yourself a huge headache and bypass this company at all costs. Management is very unorganized and very rude when contacted by them. They send rude eviction and warning notices even though you have paid rent on time, due to the lack of competent office personnel. The apartment I have lived in for three years was recently turned over to them, and in the timeframe of four months, they have scheduled mandatory inspections at least twice a month, under the guise of other reasons, but it's harassment. They will harass you threatening to fine if a child's room has a reasonable clutter from toys, but will not fix or replace items like smoke detectors or window screens. Four months and my smoke detector does still not work, which was detailed in their first inspection. Prior to their control, I didn't have a single issue with the previous landlord. My lease is up in a month and I am in the process of moving to another location. Beware of this company. They are disrespectful to their good paying tenants. There are some positive things, such as their maintenance people. They go above and beyond to treat the tenants with respect and courtesy. The management could definitely learn something from them. Avoid if possible. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Experiencia negativa: If i could give negative stars i would. The workers in the office are condescending females. They make agreements they dont plan to keep and they tell you anything to get you to move in. Once you move out, even if you leave the unit in better condition than you recieved it, they will charge you with anything and everything to not give you a deposit and make you give them more money. It doesn't matter if you were a good tenant.
Experiencia negativa: AVOID!!! The positive reviews on here are fakes. The management is terrible. The apartments are needing upgraded carpet, appliances and windows. Be prepared for huge electric bills, heating bills and a deaf management.
Experiencia negativa: Online they listed if u were approved for the apartment then there would be no deposit but upon getting approved that changed. Move in day the kitchen was a mess the countertops were not on and it was dust and sand everywhere. Whenever I had a maintenance issue they gave me grief about sending someone out. It's just not a place I would move again ever.

Experiencia negativa: The worst people you could rent from in the Cedar Rapids area. Goto Gateway Gardens or anywhere else. Don't plan on any assistance with any issues when you rent from these people. They showed up unannounced while I was at work and changed out all the locks after they couldn't get in because they brought the wrong keys, also damaged the window trying to get in. Then charged me for the window screen they broke and for the lock smith/ maintenance guy to change the locks, 155$ for their own employee to replace 3 door knobs and 80 for a screen. Also don't plan on getting any of your deposit back, they make up false late fees and anything they can to swindle you out of a few bucks. Absolute worst renting experience I've ever had, I live alone, keep to myself, and always pay on time. Really wish I had something good to say....

Experiencia negativa: I put in my notice to vacate because they changed my apartment to no longer be dog-friendly (which had been the reason I had chosen the apartment in the first place). Then they changed back to dog-friendly without informing me, even though they knew that was the reason I was moving out.
Experiencia fantástica: I just wanted to say thanks to Erin and Eagle Property Management. The maintenance worker came and got our furnace fixed. He was great and totally an awesome representative for you guys! Thank you for your prompt action on this matter too.
Experiencia fantástica: I have rented 2 apartments from them (Riverview Condos and 1113 6th st SE) and I have no complaints. They give deposits according to the lease and are always fair. From what I gathered they are like most any other property management company- pay your bills and all is well! Side Note- I bought a house mid way through my lease and was going to have to still pay out my rent through the remainder of my lease, I paid 1 month of rent after closing and got my deposit check with the pro-rated rent taken off; 4 months early! Thank you Eagle Property Management!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give them a 0 star, I would!!!! This company is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I paid rent with a money order at the beginning of October, and they LOST the money order... Then 2 weeks later, they put a court ordered FORCIBLE ENTRY on my door because THEY LOST my rent. Now, it's not even the 1st and they want NOVEMBER'S rent PLUS the rent THEY lost for October, AND THEY WANT ME TO PAY THE COURT FEES, or I get kicked out. What happened to giving warnings that rent wasn't paid (even though IT WAS), and then a 30 day notice They are worthless. I am a teacher with student debt, a single mom, and they did not even think twice about giving me an eviction notice. I can't afford to miss any more work to deal with their crap, I don't have money to fight them, they prey on the poor whether legally or illegally. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!! Get a hotel by the week before you have to rent from these clowns!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: They do not update their listings after posted. They do not reply to inquiries. Their website is outdated. They were also very rude and unorganized when I inquired. They never listed the address, and they could not find their own listing.
Experiencia negativa: They have evicted me for no reason, have rented from them for over two years, they don't like doing maintanance when things need fixed and they enter your apartment without telling you i had to get security camera, i gave them work order on Monday and on Tuesday i get a 30 day eviction notice call the office and i am told they don't need a reason to evict me i wouldn't recommend eagle property management
Experiencia positiva: We haven't had any issues with this company, always very prompt. But I do believe the lady who does the answering service on that weekends ( she sounds 15 ) has to have the rudest attitude ever. She should really get a different job. That's my only big complaint.

Experiencia negativa: This is by far the worst "management" company I've ever had to deal with. Are there any members of the staff competent enough to speak to tenants? No. They are very unprofessional. They enter your apartment whenever they want to. I'm not on section 8 nor do I have reduced housing and for the price that I pay for only 2 bedrooms you would think that I would be able to have a good rental experience. Not at all. They really need to reevaluate the staff again and maybe put out an ad for someone who has experience in just dealing with people. The customer service is beyond ridiculous. I didn't want to give any stars but I put 1 so u get the point. I wouldn't refer anyone to them.
Experiencia negativa: I was renting with my ex and he beat me for not letting him take our baby while he was drunk, I moved out. But they won't take me off the lease without him signing me off. Doesn't make sense. And I can't talk to him because of the nco, yet they won't help me.
Experiencia fantástica: We rented with Eagle for about five years. Where we currently live we originally rented through them, however they sold the building to a different property management which is absolutely horrible. My husband and I contacted Eagle about relocating back to one of their other properties and within less than 24 hours Mindy had us approved. We are looking forward to moving into our new apartment this weekend and its a beautiful unit. New carpet, clean, walk in closet, full size washer & dryer, private deck, large kitchen. Thanks again Mindy & Eagle Property..
Experiencia negativa: Eagles is the worst place I have ever rented from and that's saying something. Harrassing me and my children for things we haven't done,losing my paperwork that is given them twice, never fixing things,charging me for things I didn't break,saying I was late on rent when I wasnt,list goes on and on. I'm sure they'll come up with some reason why I won't get my deposit back and I'll have to get a lawyer. Don't rent from these idiots!!
Experiencia negativa: I just moved in and I'm still moving stuff in and they gave me a violated lease agreement for stomping around arguing and talking loudly at all times like what the hell I haven't done none of those things don't move in here you'll regret it your first month ..
Experiencia negativa: We liked it here in Iowa City, but now they are kicking out an ENTIRE COMPLEX of people, some of which will end up homeless. They are careless of other people's situations, they refused to take packages 2 weeks before Christmas, and are just plain awful. Why would you kick out an entire complex? We'll be consulting a lawyer.
Experiencia negativa: ive been calling eagle property about putting my blinds up in my living room that should have been up before I moved in. still no blinds two weeks later. I will be so happy when my lease is up. I would not recommend them unless you don't mind waiting a lifetime for them to handle whatever needs to be done. so they came and put used dirty broken blinds up. called and said they need to give me new ones. three weeks later and im still waiting.... 4 months left on this lease and I promise im taking my money elsewhere. EAGLE PROPERTY IS THE WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Experiencia negativa: Property manager charges us for any maintenance calls, ie:clearing the drain line a week after we moved in...when the OWNER of the property told me he would pay it, a month later Eagle sends me another bill, on top of the $90+ there is a FORTY DOLLAR LATE CHARGE. My rent is paid 1-3rd of every single month per my lease, their newest is trying to evict me and my family illegally for having a 2nd "business" truck at the home claiming me being a contractor (who travels and does work at sites) saying I'm running a business out of my house. Unreal. I would never rent from EAGLE again.
