Experiencia negativa: Terrible. Booked online for a sunday viewing of a home. Waited 30 min, nobody showed up. Sent another request for Monday. It gave me three times to choose. No one called back or sent message. I called and Monday upon opening. The front desk person sent me to voicemail of the agent. No calls back. I called back again. Sent me to another agent. No calls back after messages left. Its now Tuesday. Not a single message or call back. Perfect credit, I'm a doctor, would have been a good option for the owner of the property. Clearly I would never use this company to rent from or manage any of my properties. Terrible customer service. Less than a star review.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst property management company. You can never get a hold of anyone. If you do get someone, it’s their “answering team” and they will always say that they will report it to the management team and you willl never get a call back at all. Worst company ever! Not recommended.
Experiencia negativa: Worst property management company ever. Watch your bills because they keep “making mistakes”and trying to charge me extra money. They are also horrible at communicating with customers.
Experiencia negativa: ALMOST AS BAD AS WEIDNER. AND NOT BY MUCH. These people seriously do not care about you at all. They will lay down the law with an iron fist, give you fines for petty things that don't matter, and never respond to any actual complaints. They will dodge every email and phone call, claiming to be in bogus meetings. Go there in person if you want to talk to anyone, or else they will "be in a meeting". In reality, that meeting is them sitting in their office watching Netflix and thinking of new ways to ignore the tenants at properties. Before you rent from a PacRim place or buy a place in a PacRim HOA, just remember to stab yourself in the eye with a fork to prepare yourself for the misery to come.

But after a few interactions like getting a maintenance issue resolved I can say they’re organized and follow through. They don’t always reply the same day, but when they do, it’s clear and helpful. That matters more to me than just being fast.

Experiencia negativa: My experience with this company has been chaotic. They don't even have up-to-date information on the owners and/or renters. I've only been living in my condo for 6 months, which I own, and it's been a headache. The association hasn't helped me at all to solve anything. Since day one, I've had serious problems with a neighbor. She's made our lives miserable. She's called animal control 3 times. I asked the association for help to find out what I could do about this case or file a harassment complaint or something (they rent to someone). I sent videos and audio recordings of the harassment, and even then the association hasn't done anything to protect us. The condominium rules DO NOT PROTECT THE OWNERS and are ridiculous. The rules are silly. It's like someone was forced to write something for the boss to comply with, but they didn't even make an effort to do that. I am a new owner, I had no knowledge of anything regarding this association, right now I am going in to see the reviews and they are not wrong at all with having a mediocre rating, they do not even make an effort to pay attention to the people who live in one of their properties. When there are reasons to call to have some information or something related to my condominium, they always answer me as if I was calling to ask them for a favor, and no, rude lazy people answering the phone. Yesterday I made a call because they are going to change the porch on 4 or 5 condos and as a new owner, I want to have more information and know if I can be one of those people because my porch is already broken, they answered me in a very rude manner and with no desire to do their job, now that I think about it, every time I call the association I feel frustrated and very angry, they never know anything and worst of all they are not interested in knowing anything or doing anything. As an association they should be more careful and pay attention. To this day, I don't even know who the president of these condos is, and I don't want to call or ask for any information because maybe the next time I call, they'll hit me for wanting to know important things. What a mediocre association. All I think about is getting out of here, selling this condo, and buying somewhere quiet, with the peace and respect that every human being deserves and that they don't provide here. When I was renting, the landlord paid attention to everything, and I was just renting. Now that I've decided to buy, I regret this bad investment. Be professional is great have and give exceptional service make the difference. Training you personal and share BASIC INFORMATION, cause all the time the managers are busy and they do rarely answer the phone will be nice JUST BASIC INFORMATION. I am NOT HAPPY LIVING HERE at all. I just want sell and move out. Terrible terrible decision buy here and the association doesn’t care, they want our money every single month that's all they care about
Experiencia negativa: Do not live in Eagle Crossing in Eagle River. Unless you want to be harassed and have random threatening mail sent to you and constantly be sent violations. Trying to make any payments is a hassle and they do not make it easy they have "so many options" but they really do not.
Experiencia negativa: Terrible service and communication. They outsource the incoming calls and not supporting Alaskan jobs. Our property is unsafe because of the above negligence. If you are considering them for a property management company, DON'T!!!
Experiencia negativa: Bad service. Still waiting for a document I paid for. Did not deliver what they promised. NO communication, no apology. Even went to the office, still no answers. I paid for a service that I did not receive. Do not recommend. Frustrating.

My problem was not with current management which has only been for one month, but the fact that there was no advance notice that we were changing property managers . I was in the middle of the high desert between Nevada and Utah with no cell signal and had no clue , I could have been dealing with a late fee.

Experiencia negativa: Why have emergency maintenance hotline if you have no one in my State, let alone someone in the US answers the phone? I have called several times over a 12 hour period and we are still without hot water? Hire LOCAL!
Experiencia negativa: Such bad service it would be comical if it wasn’t so expensive. The dues keep going up and the service is almost non existent. Good luck if you have any expectations for timely snow removal, maintenance issues? Forget it! They’ll take a week to return your calls. Recently the association changed keys to our security doors and they’re trying to charge us $25 for a new key that we already paid for. It’s not our fault they changed the locks. This is ridiculous. The neighbors aren’t paying for new keys and instead are just propping the doors open, leaving a safety risk for all of us. Thanks Pac Rim!
Experiencia negativa: Poor service. The amount of time it took for T. Zeigler to be of any help is absurd. One time the guy told me I have two options for our slide door problem. “Either you can have a slide door you can close or a warm place.” Would be nice to have both though this person has always had some type of attitude. Guy is judgmental and unprofessional. Zeigler cuts corners when it came to helping out when needed and takes a bit of time to respond. There are times he does come through, but at times he would be snarky doing his job. The maintenance nowadays is lackluster though before the maintenance were actually helpful.. they keep switching back and forth with maintenance crews so it is a hit or miss. Thankfully the new property owner switched property management Old Review - The maintenance crew did a superb job and fixed our floor along with the toilet. Friendly and easy to talk to. Glad they were able to help me.

Experiencia positiva: We enjoyed our time at the place we had. Jon LaPrise was very helpful throughout the whole process in the beginning as he was only covering for a colleague. Noah Hammett who was our property manager before Jon, was not so helpful and not communicative when having problems during our stay. Jon was the only person who has helped us with any problems in a timely manner and has always kept us in the loop whenever a problem occurred. Thanks Jon!

Experiencia negativa: For years, our HOA was managed by PacRim Properties. During that time, we had several representatives, only one of whom was responsive and on top of things. Our latest rep has not been so, and our 2022 annual meeting was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Our rep was lackadaisical, disinterested, unprofessional (e.g., when one board member stepped down and another homeowner agreed to serve on the board, our rep acted as if that was that; he had to be reminded that homeowners had to actually vote that person in!), and at one point he was outright insulting. After that, fedup homeowners demanded that the board find a new management company. We have now gone with O’Banion, who comes highly recommended and has already shown themselves to be far more responsive and communicative.

Experiencia negativa: If you want to live next to loud neighbors who always smoke indoors or that come and bang on your door at night then these places are for you! I wish the management would step up and set their foot down but they’re too busy doing nothing and will continue to do nothing.

Experiencia negativa: When we first moved in; our property manager was helpful and always returned my calls or needs on the apartment. We have gone through a couple managers since then. So now when I call the office (PacrRim) my manager of this property is never there; she never returns my calls. The maintenance request was never addressed even though the guy did come and take measurements.

Experiencia negativa: I really wish I could leave less than one star honestly. Our property manager has been vocal with PRP about that fact that our apartments are COVERED in mold, but rather than fixing A SERIOUS HEALTH DAMAGING problem, the decided to paint (which took over a year to finish) and put in garden beds no one asked for. Oh! And they are going to be raising rent $300… but again, refuse to fix the mold issue. I have personally called to talk to someone multiple times to report issues and every single time I am rerouted to my property manager. It’s unacceptable

It is as if they already found someone to rent the house yet are still accepting applications just to make extra money. Stay away from them!

Experiencia positiva: Extremely outdated building. No ac during summer and heat all year round isn’t a good thing. The windows are all ancient and break or don’t work and then you have the bed bugs and the lack of accessibility for people who have physical disabilities. Otherwise it is a great price.

Experiencia fantástica: Been here for 3+ years. They always respond within 24hrs. Both of my bathroom & kitchen sinks were cloth up & I just put in a issue note online Thursday Night. I got back from work the very next day around 3pm, they were already working on our bathroom sink while the kitchen sink has already been fixed. Amazing they are Awesome!!

Experiencia negativa: I lived in 1 of these owned properties for a few years and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I could go all day with reasons why. Avoid this company at all cost. Update to message from the "owner" - that's a crock because I tried to contact you guys multiple times to handle my problems. My experience with you guys was SO BAD, I'm even afraid to speak about the facts due to fear of a lawsuit because they are that unbelievable. Maybe you can start by hiring staff that actually do more than just pick up a paycheck.

Experiencia negativa: If I could rate them as 0/5, I would. They are truly horrible. I have experienced many less than ideal rental situations, however PacRim takes the cake. My complex was initially owned by the Summit Group, who I highly recommend. They were responsive and communicative. Then the property was bought by PacRim. Throughout the initial transition, PacRim provided us with no information whatsoever. I had to call them multiple times just to figure out how to pay rent. Then, my roommate got rental assistance, and PacRim prevented that assistance from actually processing. Despite claiming that they accept vouchers, they continued dragging their feet, refusing to respond to even the most basic of requests for paperwork, until my roommate had literally no option but just paying herself. Their behavior has been absolutely unacceptable, and I honestly question the legality of their actions. Avoid them at all costs.

Experiencia negativa: The quality of what i qualified for at this entity couldve been better. The carpet was ancient. Which was all the floor. The plug ins are so old nothing barely stayed plugged in. Theres so many prejudice miserable people in this dwelling. Who would want to make friends with such people.! The bathtub is okd the cabinets are older never been changed since the dinosayr times. I hated this building and tge neighbor below me. He smoked in his apartment and had the gall to say he didnt. My poor kids exposed to 2bd hand smoke we had to check out early. And i paid the whole damn month. Already. And to top it off jason ripped me off half my deposit said there was damages. He just lied ' he knoes it too cause he cant mk enuff to support his family

Experiencia negativa: Mike just told my client that the 10 feet of water on their floor was from normal condensation coming out of the common HVAC unit, rather than the massive ice damm on the roof, costing her several months mortgage (rather than selling her home while they stalled), several months dues, all new flooring in her living room, and Sheetrock which at one point had a 2 foot round balloon of water trapped beneath it in the paint. Solid work guys, bravo.

The neighbors are very friendly and management as well. We couldn't be more happier. Also like to thank you Samantha for making things possible for us. She has stuck with us from day one and still are. Very professional and responsive to our needs. All in all, I'm glad we made this move. Great place to start.

Experiencia negativa: I had noticed this property on an ad for a couple of months. When I finally decided to talk and try to set up a showing again, I was told there was an offer but they hadnt showed up a couple of times. I got in right a way. But the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because after being excited I realized it's been vacant for 2 months or more and nothing had been cleaned. Only new carpet. Isnt there a cleaning crew who's supposed to clean the blinds, the fridge, the counters? Everything is literally covered in dust and the toilet was dirty with feces, the seat is broke and the tub still has hair from the last tenants on the shower wall. I'm all for touch up cleaning when I move in but now I got all my stuff in and might have to do a full cleaning. I also am allergic to the backing or glue that is crumbling in the "new" carpet. Allergy, asthma, hives oh my!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been living here for over two years. My landlord is a cool person and always understanding. She's always on top of everything. The only negative thing I have to say is that sometimes there are some things that get broken down but maintenance always come check on it. Overall, you get all different types of neighbors but all of them are great. We all look out for each other and that's important to me.
Experiencia negativa: I just recently moved out of here and been trying to contact Jeff, the property manager, and he hasn't returned the phone call for three months. Then we seen on the website that our old unit is for rent without them saying a word to us. The lack of communication on their part is unacceptable. Would not recommend to anyone.

Experiencia positiva: For the love of all the gods stop sending me texts and emails to leave a review.
Experiencia negativa: The on-site manager plays favorites with the tenants. When you have concerns about noise issues they are ignored, but when their friends ‘other tenants’ complain they’ll write people up without any prior discussion. Also, my apartment was very dirty when I moved in. The washer and dryer had years of filth built up underneath them. Which was a safety hazard to my pets. This unit is only two years old, but was cared for very poorly.

Experiencia fantástica: Our condo association, consisting of two buildings with 30 units, has retained PacRim Properties as our property management firm for several years now. As a board member throughout those years, I/we have found PacRim to perform quite well. While we have transitioned through association managers as life carries on, and we have had our problems to deal with, we have found PacRim to be, while not perfect, better than average and we are highly pleased with their overall performance -- from their office staff, to association managers we have dealt with, and on to the owner/managers. Thanks, PacRim, for taking care of or condo association over the years.
Experiencia negativa: I have consistently been having issues with them paying on time and not notifying me when the payment is to be made. In our contract, it spells out that they must do both. When I try to reach out to why payments are late they do not respond back via email. I have had to get the operations manager involved because of their negligence. I've gone through now two, Jason and Jeff, property managers with them and it's exhausting reaching out to them with genuine questions to which they don't respond. I would never recommend a company who doesn't care about their customers.

I feel like I was a bit bamboozled when moving into our property because at first it seemed everything had been remodeled or made new. Looking further in and getting settled, I realized while lots of work has been done, lots still needs to be done and now that I’m a tenant, with a lease, it’s harder to make requests that are simple and understandable. When I moved in like I said the house had been under “remodel” right before. I will say the remodel gave the house a facelift for sure but the things that are “new” are falling apart and I have a feeling it may be because the jobs were cheaply done, and it may end up coming out of my deposit. Small examples, the carpet is new but by the walls it is already peeling up and shredded in spots, as well as, the linoleum in the bathroom. I feel like when something goes wrong or needs to be fixed, it gets done but the property manager is mad at me or something when I’m simply letting them know there’s an issue so it doesn’t get worse. which I feel paying 2k a month, things should be fixed without a problem, there are cheaper places to live. I chose this one and this price because the house is nice so, I pay for it but, things break and that’s also why I’m willing to pay the money every money to have someone fix them . So far I like the company but there’s always room for improvement in life and business. I’d say if You are patient go with them. They have nice houses and are willing to help it just takes time.

Experiencia negativa: Sometimes when I would call the emergency number, the person that picked up did not speak English very well. I have called the emergency number at least 5 during the winter due to frozen pipes and asked to send the Plummer over to thaw out pipes. Each time I waited for many hours and in every case I emailed cedric and he put in the work order. I actually had one of the weekend service people tell me that after checking the guidelines it was my responsibility to call a plumber at my expense. I did not find the weekend end emergency service helpful in any way.

Experiencia positiva: I had made various requests & the main problem being that I was without heat for approximately 13 days & was given a measely credit of $22. This was during the coldest part of the winter & I had to go stay at my boyfriend's house because I couldn't stand how cold my apartment was!!. It would be fixed for 1 day, or several hours on another day, but didn't get it completely resolved until the 31 of December, 2019 around 7 p.m.. It's funny because if you are 1 day late paying rent they charge you $28!!!
