Experiencia negativa: I don’t recommend this property management to nobody , they treat their tenants terribly, when you need something fixed or done they don’t respond til 2 weeks later , they tell us they are gonna send somebody & the person never arrives , my kitchen ceiling fell in , I had to wait at-least 3 days for somebody to even come check it out then had to wait another couple days for them to send somebody out to fix it . I’ve went 2 weeks without heat , I’ve told them & they acted like they didn’t care . They give us this emergency number to call when something happens that doesn’t work because nobody ever answers the phone .. I’m having a really bad experience with Torres turn key property management !

Experiencia fantástica: Now that I’ve been a client of Torres Turn Key Property Management for over a year and a half, I want to update my review and give a more detailed account of my experience so others considering them can benefit. Daniel and Nada Torres, along with the rest of their team, are sincere, genuine, and highly competent. They are not only skilled at property management, but also very knowledgeable about Rochester’s real estate and city compliance. It’s rare to find people who combine real integrity and good intentions with real talent and execution—which they do. About 18 months ago, I bought my first-ever out-of-town property in Rochester, NY. Today, I’m under contract to purchase my 3rd property there. Without Daniel’s guidance — on specific deals, on the Rochester market in general, and so much more—it’s doubtful I would be this invested in the area. They renovated a “tired” property I purchased using their in-house team. The work was done on a reasonable timeline, the pricing was fair, and the quality was good—which, as any out-of-town investor knows, is not always the case with contractors... They also handled all the compliance issues and successfully obtained the Certificate of Occupancy from the city. In addition, Daniel has personally reviewed properties for me that I was considering purchasing, giving honest and pragmatic feedback. in summery what they’ve done for me: • Managed renovations using their in-house team • Kept fair pricing and reasonable timelines • Handled city compliance and obtained a Certificate of Occupancy • Provided guidance on deals and the Rochester market • Property walk-through inspections, of properties I was looking into buying • The walk-through before closing on a property • Managed my properties reliably and professionally They may not be the cheapest option out there—and that’s a good thing. You’re paying for reliability, honesty, and real competence. You can immediately tell that these are people with a real passion and energy for what they do. They’re not just trying to “clock in hours”—they genuinely want to help you grow and succeed as a property owner. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to invest in Rochester, especially if you’re an out-of-town investor!

Experiencia negativa: Update to respond to Nada: I did my best to give an unbiased review and did make sure to note on your promptness in cancelling our contract. As I was only able to review the work remotely in the pictures which were sent, it was impossible to see the lack of care in the work your contractors performed. I would not have been able to see several of the electrical-taped fixtures which were installed by your contractors. Regardless of if they are licensed, this is not up to NEC code and a potential fire and electrocution hazard. Saying the tenant always paid on time is a falsehood. The tenant was over two months behind at the end of our contract. I would hope that instead of taking a defensive position you would instead this review as insight to improve your operations. Mistakes happen and amends can be made. The lack of accountability in your response is indicative of TTKs attitude during the time you worked for me. I stand by not recommending them and I hope this review deters future homeowners from TTK at this time. —— I hired Torres turn key in August 2021 and ended our contract in February 2025. I was moving out of the area in 2021 and had Danny and his team renovate the house for a family rental. New floors, paint, light fixtures, etc. From what I recall I paid about $10,000 for all the work. The trouble began around November 2022. I emailed Nada (Nov 7) after noticing I hadn’t received rents for 2 months. She said it would get taken care of and that the tenant would be renewing their lease. For the next couple of years the tenant missed a month here and there, stopped paying water bills, etc, which all came to me. I never heard a peep from Torres and had to be vigilant to make sure the tenant was caught up. I would reach out and was told it would be taken care of. Several times rent was over two months late. Another odd thing was that there were never late fees assessed. They also rarely updated the online owner’s portal with notes, so I had to contact them whenever I wanted information. My frustrations came to a head in December of 2024 when the tenant was over 2 months behind in rent, and several water bills behind. No responses to my emails and didn't feel that TTK would fix the issue, I emailed Nada that I would be ending our contract immediately. On a positive note, she made the contract cancellation very simple. She also didn’t charge me a management fee for the final month which I took as a kind gesture. After the contract was cancelled, I reached out to the tenant that I would be hiring a new management company. She informed me then that she had actually been working for TTK the whole time and they had fired her due to her not paying rent and losing me as a client. These are words from the tenant, not TTK. I consider this a massive conflict of interest and a breach of trust on the part of TTK. I have to believe that all the leniency they provided the tenant was due to them being an employee - and I’m stuck holding the bag. I went into the home to do some renovations this month (December 2025) and found several egregious and outright dangerous issues with the original work they did back in 2021. Light fixtures were wired in with electrical tape, base boards cut short and not spanning their entire walls, floor boards also cut short and not reaching entirely to the wall. My biggest pet peeve were some of the outlets and switches were painted over. I will say that when the tenant was paying, TTK's management was up to par. I believe that with a solid paying tenant, TTK could manage your property well. However I need a property manager that works for me during the good and the bad. I wouldn’t recommend TTK to any homeowner who wishes to rent out their home.

I used them for about six months, then cancelled my arrangements with them. Their only concern is making money of of their client. They dont provide proper receipts for work done, every receipt comes from their in house contractor, which just happens to be a relative. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company....it will save you alot of headache and stress. They replaced a water heater, when asked for the receipt for the water heater, I was told to look online to see the prices........seriously? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I actually rented the building behind their office it’s super hard to get in contact with them , they’re super unprofessional and my personal experience was ok until it came down to the security deposit and Nada’s nasty attitude. I was going through a rough time staying there but the property was never damaged left In great condition actually they kept my deposit and never sent a notice of liability I took them to small claims court nada didn’t show she had her husband show and blatantly lie saying I brought mice to a 3rd floor apartment it was insane y’all. It was nice poop underneath the sink when I moved in and I never pressed an issue , they’re just not stand up people for me. I’m honest before I’m anything and they could never get a buck from me and I make sure I let family members know the experience. They are money hungry and the house I have now speaks standards on there cheap upkeep. just go to their reviews hit lowest and judge for your self.

I am hopeful that everything from here going forward will be good Update...almost a month later I have to update my review to just a 1 star. After initially posting a bad review I updated it because they did complete the work they were currently working on and they asked me to revise my review yet also at the same time (about 3 weeks ago) they told me there was a roofer that would be looking at another issue I have (a portion of the gutters needs to be repaired so that the squirrels can stay out of my attic). I have left numerous messages on the portal. I sent a text via the tenant line but the last time anyone has gotten back to me was 3/18 when they told me that the problem was added to the roofers list. Update. It's July 11th now and still no repairs have been done. I can't even get anyone to contact me and it's been confirmed I have raccoons living in my attic. If you have the choice stay very far away from this property management company Problem was remedied but it was only a temporary fix…having the same problem yet again, critters in the attic and have contacted the property management company but of course still nothing has been done.

From the start it was a very fast process I needed a house and they responded right away after submitting the documents required. When ever I have an issue or Concern, they are able to provide me with contractors to fix any issues. They have a great contractor I can’t remember his name he is Hispanic very respectful man anytime he comes he fixes the issue right away and if I have any more issues he looks into it for me. The best contractor! Wish I knew his name! The property managers are great! I am very content with their services !!

You mean to tell me out of those 27 people not one person is acceptable? I swear they keepin the ads up after they find a tenant to collect money from the applications. Smh. They couldn’t give me not one good reason to not accept my application either. I know everything hard rn finding a place and all but don’t stress yourself out even further goin through this place.

Experiencia positiva: Challenging at first. Very difficult to connect with staff: emails and voice messages went unanswered. The apartment was not remodeled as purported by the posting. Paint job was not properly done. Kitchen cabinets and the bathroom cabinet in bad shape. Some of the wood is rotted. Drawers not closing properly. The tub needed to be re-caulked. The only area that receives heat is the living room. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are very cold. Relying on space heaters. I have made the best out of this situation. It is still home to me. POSITIVE: staff has worked with me through my financial challenges. The rent gets paid regardless.

Will give you a call if your rent is late to ask when you can pay instead of hassling you. Also have a rent tracker to help you build your credit for on-time payments of rent, And also provide renter's insurance in case you don't havs any. Have an app you can use as well which is handy to pay rent or request assistance etcetera. Would recommend to anyone looking to rent either first timers or otherwise

The state fraud department needs to investigate this company and the practices they think are ok in this economic climate

Experiencia negativa: The absolute worst company ever!! They fix nothing, are a complete nightmare to deal with. They're emergency line never gets answered. When I spoke to another landlord when applying elsewhere he told me his brother did work for them and they ripped him off for $800. A co-worker told me they rented with them in the past and it was a complete nightmare! By far the worst company in Rochester.
