Experiencia negativa: Tried to engage them 5 years ago to help buy a house. Had to part ways because they refused to listen to our 'want list' and pushed us to spend to our max budget instead. The exact idea you have when you think of 'greedy commission salesman'. Went so far as to tell them that as we terminated our working agreement. That didn't stop them from reaching out (emails and via phone) to ask how else they can help, if we're still in the market, etc. After a year of this, I had enough and called them to ask to be removed from communications. The emails periodically still come, the calls still come, the postcards in the mail still come. 5 years later. This group doesn't care about you, and certainly doesn't listen. It's to the point that i'm leaving a public review just to have them finally stop reaching out to me. Delete my info from your system since you can't figure out how to manage customer data in a responsible way. Happy Holidays!

She did her research and showed us what houses were selling for in that area of town. Then she explained what her plan was for selling our home. She went over the house carefully and asked us for specific information which would be helpful for a prospective buyer to know. She also was able to suggest people who could help us get the home ready. Communication was great and we did not have any problems if we had any questions or concerns. Calls and texts were answered in a timely manner. Abbey's plan was executed as stated. The home went on the market and offers were in 5 days later. The house was sold and we were satisfied with the results. We would definitely recommend The Friend Team to anyone who wants to sell or buy a home.

Experiencia fantástica: Abbey Friend was our realtor when we needed to sell our Mom’s house. We all live out-of-town so she worked with us via email, texts and over Zoom. She was prompt in responding to our texts and our emails, and ready to answer any of our questions. When we needed special services for cleaning and plowing the driveway, she came through. Her description of our Mom’s house in the listing was compelling and the photos did a nice job of showing the house in its best light. As a result, we had 9 bidders within a week’s time and the final offer was $50k over the listing price. She went over all the bids and explained the various numbers used for comparison. She went through the buyer’s contract, which was extremely useful when we decided how we wanted to negotiate. Throughout this process, the family was not all in agreement and she patiently sat through those discussions … a lot of them. She just did a stellar job from start to finish, and got us an excellent price for my Mom’s house. I feel we were very fortunate selecting her as our realtor.

Experiencia negativa: This agency has very shady representatives. My husband and I just put an offer down on their listing in Batavia. They accepted our offer. We then waited for lawyer approval. During the time of waiting for lawyer approval they still entertained other offers. We knew they would do this so In our offer we stated we had the right of refusal so they would have to come to us if there was a different offer that beat ours. They then contacted my agent 3 days later to say a different offer came in with better terms(they did not tell my agent the full truth). We changed our offer to those exact terms. The listed agent (Abbey and Amanda) then waited all day to tell us they went with the other offer even though they already accepted ours. They relayed this information through a text message and did not even have the decency to call my agent back. Horrible representation from this agency and a complete lack of professionalism. 0 out of 5 stars.
