Experiencia negativa: I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so future residents know what to expect. Throughout my tenancy, I experienced ongoing issues with professionalism and communication from on-site manager Annette Gaspardo and property manager Christian Perry. Working with Annette Gaspardo was extremely difficult. Her communication was often dismissive, unhelpful, and at times felt biased in how certain residents were treated. Rather than resolving concerns professionally, many interactions created unnecessary tension and confusion among residents. Instead of doing the job of managing the property and supporting tenants, it often felt like she contributed to disorder and conflict within the building. Annette’s behavior came across as messy, unorganized, and at times completely unprofessional. Simple issues were frequently made more complicated than they needed to be because of poor communication and a lack of accountability. As a resident, it created an uncomfortable environment where concerns were not handled fairly or respectfully. In my personal experience, there were moments where her actions felt discriminatory and inappropriate for someone in a management position. Maintenance requests consistently took an excessive amount of time to be addressed, with little follow-up or clear communication about timelines. During the summer, there was also a persistent bug problem that never felt properly resolved. For the price of rent being charged, the condition of the property and the level of service provided simply did not match the cost. The building itself feels outdated and poorly maintained for what tenants are paying. As for Christian Perry, in my experience as property manager there appeared to be a lack of knowledge regarding property management practices and weak decision-making when issues arose. Situations that required leadership, clarity, or resolution often felt mishandled or left unresolved. Most recently, during my move-out process, coordination was unnecessarily difficult and communication was inconsistent, which added avoidable stress to an already time-sensitive situation. I do want to acknowledge that the administrative assistants Tawny Tate and Michele White were the only consistently professional and helpful people during my time there. They were communicative, respectful, and responsive whenever I interacted with them, which made a noticeable difference. I hope this feedback encourages real improvements in professionalism, accountability, and overall property management for future residents.
Experiencia fantástica: Carol at Ogden is the best property manager I’ve dealt with. If anything is wrong I know I can call her and she will take care of it immediately. Very impressed

Experiencia negativa: HOA is beating around the bush assisting in providing a document requested by our insurance company to file a claim for an recent issue. Help me understand why the document can't be forwarded? You should have copies, no? Quick to raise fees but slow with assistance or decent maintenance. Would like to resolve without having to hire an attorney, however it doesn't seem it will.

Experiencia negativa: I lived in an Ogden building on Farwell & Capital and they did the same thing, telling me my situation was not dire, when my entire ceiling had collapsed and was totally destroyed - I had no access to my fridge or stove or anything for 5 weeks. I was also on the 6th floor when the elevator stopped working. I was informed that the elevator was not included in my lease agreement therefore fixing it was not a priority; I’m physically disabled and had to move in with my parents until the elevator was fixed. This company does not care for their properties nor their tenants. Leaving a fellow human in -22* weather with no heat and then attempting to gaslight him by telling him 47 degrees is warm enough for him is not only inhumane but it’s embarrassing. Please don’t rent from these big companies in Milwaukee. Find someone who owns 1 or 2 properties. They will actually care.

Experiencia negativa: Don't Waste Your Time! We called multiple times to get a quote for their services with no response. When we finally talked to Jennifer Lemanski, Asst. Director of Property Management, she promised a quote which she never sent, even after a followup call.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had an apartment tour with David from Ogeden & Comapny, Inc. This tour was hands down the most thorough and thoughtful tour I had ever been on. I’m starting my new apartment search journey a bit earlier so I have a game plan come next spring and I knew instantly this apartment through Ogden and Company is a place I could call home. Experiencia negativa: If I could submit a 0 star, I would - Ogden and Company is, by far, one of the WORST groups I have ever dealt with in 25 years. AVOID. Bad communication, horrible, unreasonable, odd rules, the list is endless. The only solution is for them to finally go out of business.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had a great experience so far with Andrea Wimmer as a property manager! From day one, she has been responsive, proactive, and incredibly professional. Any maintenance requests are handled quickly, she is easy to communicate with, and she has been personable and understanding with any issues or requests that may have arose. Andrea's coworker, Gabe Gonzalez, has also been terrific. He communicates fast and well, has been able to answer any questions I have, and has been an overall pleasant person to interact with. I have had issues with other real estates companies in the past, so having organized, easy to work with management has been refreshing. Highly recommended to anyone, Gabe or Andrea, as employees to connect with at Ogden.

Experiencia fantástica: Exceptional Experience at West Village Apartments We moved to West Village Apartments in October 2023 from India, and our experience here has been nothing short of excellent. From day one, the support from both on-site and off-site staff has been outstanding. A special thanks to Tawny Tate, who has been incredibly helpful and responsive—always resolving queries within hours. Christian Perry, the current Portfolio Manager, is equally wonderful—approachable, kind, and treats residents like extended family. Service requests are handled promptly and efficiently, often resolved without the need for follow-up—truly a five-star service. On-site property support from Joe Wanat has also been exceptional. He’s quick to respond, especially in emergencies, and goes above and beyond to assist residents. Our apartment was exactly as described—well-maintained, beautifully furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is peaceful and safe, yet conveniently close to everything. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home. Experiencia fantástica: Me and my fiancé worked with Tina Stoviak we were recommended by my sister who had nothing but good things to say about her. And let me just say Tina is PHENOMENAL she went above and beyond to get us our new home that we absolutely LOVE she was professional, patient and so informational she answered every last text/call she didn’t make me feel stupid for asking lots of questions lol she definitely went above and beyond. she really exceeded our expectations. Experiencia negativa: Absent managers, can never get a hold of anyone. No one communicates or has any idea what is happening. Only helpful person was the receptionist when I showed up to this office to drop my keys off. It’s a place to live, that’s it. But don’t be as little as one day late on the rent, ever. Ogden charges way too much for apartments with little to no amenities, no air conditioning in the building either. Glad I moved out.

Anytime an issue came up, she was quick to respond and always handled things with understanding and efficiency. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and values her tenants. Experiencia negativa: Be careful about payment! Do not trust! The company agent assessed our income after long time delay in answer our contacts. We got accepted for rent an appartment in white fish bay area and received contract to sign electronically . We signed and paid 835.00 USD deposit . Just after our payment , Elizabeth ( company agent) cancelled the lease because of not enough income. BUT the deposit still did not returned in our account. Definitely unreliable .

Experiencia fantástica: This is for Becky Hinkle. She is the account manager for our condo association board. She deserves high ratings for dealing with our challenging board. She is diplomatic but yet firm with the board members. She keeps our meetings on track and doesn't let us get waylaid. She is always willing to help out with our requests and follow up.

On those occasions 3 men have picked up the phone and stated "they don't speak English." They just now have reached out to me with no explanation also wound not refund me. Experiencia negativa: I lived with them between 2018-2019 while I was a student, and there was a cockroach infestation, a bed bug infestation, and it took them TWO months to properly fumigate, and they only did so in the requested units, instead of the entire building, which only delayed the issue further. I have never seen such gross incompetent negligence from a landlord company in my entire life, this stands alone as the worst example I have ever experienced. If I knew better ( was 18-19 at the time), I should have broken the lease and sued for damages. Please do not rent from this company.

Experiencia negativa: We are having performance problems with the property manager at Bridlewood Condo Association in Hartford ! With the original condos built in 2005 that need some exterior work ASAP . A special assessment is in in progress for all the condos currently with hopefuly plans to address the long overdue siding issues of the original 32 units that are in.desperate need of repair ! The biggest problem is a lack of majority to address problems here at Bridlewood! While a 2/3rds majority is clearly.spelled out in our bylaws and declarations we as unit owners are not informed about officer elections budgets and other important issues to determine.if the bylaws and declarations are being adhered to! In.order to correct these concerns it will simply take involvement and transparency!! I am a big fan of honesty an fairness! Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding the performance of the property manager at Bridlewood Condo Association. We understand your frustrations about the necessary exterior work for the original units built in 2005.
The association holds an annual meeting every year, with the most recent one on May 21, 2024. During this meeting, unit owners vote for elected officers. Homeowners receive a copy of the budget each December and are informed of their new monthly assessments, ensuring transparency. Additionally, monthly financials are provided to homeowners after board approval.
Over the past few years, the association has experienced significant board turnover, with 4 to 5 different boards. This instability is partly due to some community members making it challenging for the board to act in the community's best interest. There have even been threats against board members, which discourages capable individuals from serving.
Despite these challenges, our property manager has done an exceptional job. She secured new insurance when the previous carrier dropped the community, even though the association is unwarrantable. The community still needs to build another 20-plus buildings, adding to the complexity of her role. She also found new providers for snow removal and landscaping after losing several contractors, and we are actively addressing current issues with the landscape provider.
Your manager had a 45-minute conversation with you the day before the annual meeting to address your concerns. Immediate action on requests requires board approval and a commitment from unit owners to cover the costs. Our authority to act without board approval is limited to emergencies, ensuring proper governance and financial responsibility.
The powers and duties of the board are outlined in Article 5, Section 3 of the association's Declaration and bylaws. A quorum for the annual meeting is 50%, not the 2/3 required for amending the declaration or bylaws.
We strive for transparency and involvement. However, spreading misinformation can significantly impact the manager's and the board's ability to act effectively. We need the community's support and cooperation to address issues and maintain a positive environment.

My condo property is managed by Ogden, and living here has been a very unpleasant experience, overall. Ogden and the board do very little to reinforce adherence to bylaws or ensure people properly maintain their units. They simply exist to collect hundreds of dollars every month in condo fees and absurd, repeated special assessments, but will jump at any chance to say, "Not our problem. We're just here to do the bare minimum". Our property manager has a slick mouth, to boot, and the majority of our board members don't even live on the premises...but we're supposed to believe that the board, or Ogden, really gives a sh!t about what happens at this association. They are absolutely not concerned about people's investments, they pick and choose which rules to follow, and they certainly don't hold everyone to the same standards. I've lived here for five years, and I've easily spent four of them fantasizing about living somewhere else with an association and property management company who actually gives a damn. Living within this association has become nothing but a safety issue and a liability, and Ogden, in cahoots with the board, is a joke. They will also violate your privacy by sharing your emails with other unit owners without your permission. Ogden is downright lazy and sketchy. If you see that Ogden is involved in any place you're about to live, put down the pen, burn those papers, and run in the other direction.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been living in one of Ogden's apartment building for two years, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The location is absolutely fantastic – it's convenient, accessible, and surrounded by everything I need. What truly sets this place apart is the management. Andrea has been impressively responsive and has dealt with any concerns or issues I've had swiftly, making me feel valued as a resident. It's clear that they prioritize resident satisfaction. The overall atmosphere of the building is excellent. It is cleaned weekly and well maintained. It's very nice to live in a newer building as I never hear my direct neighbors. The windows are all new, keeping the busy street noises at bay as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Andrea is one of the greatest people I have ever met from this company. She is so caring about her renters and always whenever we need her does everything in her power to get things done immediately. She made the process of getting our new home so easy and made sure the spot was up to date with everything we would need. Went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable, happy and took anything that we had questions about so seriously. Everytime We see her in our building she always has a smile on her face and is always so genuine, 10/10 would recommend her to anyone. I have given her name and business to so many of the people we know because we genuinely have the upmost respect for her and her ability to make our new house our home

Experiencia negativa: 0 stars! All the reviews are right. THEY SUCK! We just switched to this circus last month. Already hate em. Received a letter to send payment for association dues because my auto payment apparently didn't carry over. No contact phone number on the letter. Don't want to go making sense and provide that now. I googled the number. Office hours 10am-5pm m-thursday. Just called them. It's 4:22pm on a Tuesday. Office is closed. I miss Hunt Management already! Update: not even a year in and these clowns managed to increase our association fees $40/month! I've been in my neighborhood for 11 years and NEVER did the previous association increase the fees more than $10/month annually! Hope we can find a way to dump these clowns. They gotta go!

Experiencia negativa: Genuinely the worst property management company I ever rented from. They took almost no issues I reported seriously. We didn’t have working laundry for a month. My favorite memory is when they started renting to a tenant who turned the other apartments around me into Airbnbs, and somehow that tenant got the master code to our keyless, pin pad doors, and I had a man enter my apartment and fully walk in because he had mistaken it for one of his apartments he had turned into an Airbnb. Still curious as to how a tenant got a mastercode to all of the apartments doors in the complex! And when I expressed my concern to Ogden they could have clearly cared less that there was a safety concern. Then one of the Airbnb guests threw up outside of my apartment and Ogden ignored my request to clean up a biohazard. I am so thankful I have new property management and don’t have to deal with a company who had no interest in being good to its tenants. If you can avoid renting from them, I would highly recommend doing so.
Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero I would. Ogden is some scammers. We signed a month to month lease. They charged us an extra 50 dollars a month to do so. Then we moved out gave our move our date ahead of time we paid the partial rent like it was stated online. Since we moved out on the 15. Well we moved out on the 13th but still paid the partial rent like it was on the site. Two weeks after move out. They claimed we had to pay full months rent even though we moved in the middle of the month and they charged us 50 every month to to month to month. Then after keeping our 1200 dollar deposit claim we still owe them 352 dollars. They said the rest of the rent we owed was over 900 dollars which was incorrect. They are some thieves. No one is every in the office. So when you call you have to call every day to get someone and then the person you always need to speak with is never in the office. They are just a horrible rental company. They should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat people. We were never late on the rent never had any issues. But they made sure to take all the fees and money as possible but never came to fix a thing

There were issues that haven't been taken care of with the previous manager and as soon as she came on for Ogden she attacked the issues with straight forward get it done solutions. As well as keeping me updated even if that meant contacting me on her own time. Thank you so much De! I cant say thank you enough for all your hard work.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RECOMMEND! I strongly dislike this place. From move in to move out. Paid to move in early and had issues with whoever Lynn. Both bathroom ceiling fell in twice, out of date stove that they didn’t replace until I called the gas company and they required it to be replaced. My refrigerator is sinking into the floor (it’ll fall thru any day now). They switch new Management every 3-4 months(not exaggerating). I can not wait to move from this place.
Experiencia negativa: We have lived in West village for 2 years now and the first was ok but then new management rolled in which whom we have only spoken to maybe twice both were a aggravating experience but mostly it will be you leaving messages of which most will be ignored good luck actually speaking to someone other then the Maintenance man. We are currently dealing with a busted heated that they tell us they have no idea when they can have fix with temperatures outside still reaching the low 20's-30's and no hot water very unacceptable for a place charging $1350 in rent every month and what makes it worse is it could have been avoided had we not been ignored when we called about the weird noises it was making almost 2 months ago with our busted driveway light that also has not been replaced very unprofessional Lackluster and snooty management they act like your Inconveniencing them when you call them about a issue I would not recommend unless you like paying more for less their attitude is give us your money and shut up
Experiencia negativa: I went for a interview with them and I really liked everyone I met and the atmosphere,however as things progressed they wanted a CREDIT CHECK a clean driving record and the usual background check that I didn't mind however the first two have nothing to do with ones ability to perform and my biggest beef is that along with the fact that the grass in fall grows faster than they can make a decision, is that if they listed the criteria properly in the job offer I would of NEVER APPLIED.... I'M not posting this out of a bruised ego by any means but I don't want anyone else who thinks about applying for a job with them WHO DOESN'T HAVE A SQUEAKY CLEAN BACKGROUND to waste their time applying for a job with them. Especially if you are one of my 20,000 followers locally They are the farthest thing from a second chance company and hopefully if you think you want to work for them you went to Harvard and have a squeaky clean background. I think it there should be against the law for a business to run a credit check on you and as long as a person can get to and from work what does a license or a clean driving and credit record have to do with talent when skills and talent should be the measure.

We were overcharged for everything that needed to be done and Annette Gaspardo refuses to provide us with invoices for repair company's she used. She wont respond to any of our text messages asking for them. How professional! We got charged for stuff "left on the balcony" that was not ours. Seriously do not rent from them. They have dirt cheap units but its for a reason! Worst company ever, did not repair anything except for a broken stove in 2 years of living there. Also had to pay an extra month because we didn't notify in time when we were leaving although we signed a one year lease and Annette knew we were leaving. DO NOT RENT FROM OGDEN!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM

Experiencia negativa: Terrible communication and do not care about their tenants at all. I lived in 2 different facilities in Milwaukee and both experiences were awful. Landlords are so unprofessional and do not help you. It took months for me to get my security deposit back because they sent it to the wrong address and were hoping I just forgot about it. COMPLETE CROOKS. I would not recommend.
Experiencia negativa: Heating system needs updating to control heat. The valves that regulate heat to each apartment aren't all working properly, despite installing new thermostat. Can't have window air conditioners for cooling. The 2 elevators stop working several times a month or more. It's greatest point is it's location close to the lakefront, beaches, Milwaukee County Marina and Oak Leaf Trails, Beerline trail, shopping, Universities and downtown.

Experiencia negativa: My condo complex is managed by Ogden. I pay hundreds of dollars every month in condo association fees, but I somehow cannot get ahold of a single person when I slip and fall on the ice because the parking lot was not salted, which is something our monthly dues are supposed to be paying for. Ogden is completely unresponsive. Why am I paying condo dues for nothing while incurring medical costs? Do better, Ogden. This is very messed up.
Experiencia negativa: I did not enjoy my time living under Ogden (especially with how much I love my current place.) They were not very professional, and even rude on the phone. Pros: Very fast and efficient maintenance work whenever requested. Cons: We ended up having to move out early due to work. There is no greater discomfort in life that trying to coordinate with these people in that event. They never communicated with us. When they did the letters or calls were always hostile. They even tried sending us a bill four months after we moved out (which was dropped upon talking to the building managers superiors). They did not seem to have their accounts in order. All in all, not worth it.

Experiencia negativa: Worst company to rent from! I would rather live in Barrada properties then them! They are keeping people’s money after you move out! They were suppose to owe community advocates $1200 they only sent them back $764. The charges they charged me when I moved out just so happen to total $725 the kampung if my security deposit. Charged $200 for clean up when I sent pics when I moved out it never should have been that much. They charged me $350 for late rent fee but didn’t take it out if the money from community advocates payed to pay my late rent fees! These people are crooks!!!!!! Don’t trust them! This is my second review you think they asked me how they can make it better hell no!
