There’s a phrase called ‘snake oil salesman.’ The Walters Group in Columbia, Mo will do anything to discredit you, manipulate, slander and lie to maintain a false image that they actually care about their sellers. It’s all smoke and mirrors. If you disagree with them or have concerns be prepared for gaslighting and manipulation for them to try and silence you. Their image is top priority, not you as a seller. And yes you have worked for my brother and I. We have the historic house in Boonville. The fact that you said that you never worked for me shows how unprofessional you are. I’m so glad we decided to go with another realtor. They will bully and harass you if you leave a low star review and delete it on Facebook. That is misleading and is bad business practices. If you complain about their company, be prepared for their team to come and slander you and bully you. You wonder why there are only 5 star reviews? They delete the low star reviews. I really wanted to have a great experience selling our home, but after working with the Walters Group I would stay far far away from them. I was greatly disappointed in the whole process. No showings in 6 months for a very nice historic home. And then when they can’t sell the home or get showings they forget you. So be prepared as a seller that if your house doesn’t sell that they will forget they even worked for you.

Experiencia negativa: I went into this excited and with high hopes. I was very excited only to be slowly let down and down and down. I had a historically restored home, which means the home has been taken back to a much more historical nature. Being a historically significant home, it was not a home that looked historic on the outside and modern inside, which is a trend with many people. So the character of the home was more 1850s to early 1900s with wallpaper. Having a background in marketing I knew that this house would take a special someone to purchase it. This is why I said from the beginning that we needed to think outside the box as a marketing individual would per the project thrust before them. I let the Walters Group have the reigns. We listed the house initially at $150 a square foot. (Historical homes in Arrow Rock are up to as much as $213 a square foot) Since the house has state and national significance, and to rebuild the house would be around $230 a square foot, the price should not had been a factor, even though we eventually lowered it more that $100,000 to $133 a square foot. After a historical home in Boonville sold for $135 a square foot, price again should not have been an issue. During this process, I began to do some research after realizing the audience for the home was not being reached. While ideas were being pushed around after five months on market, these ideas should have been implemented at the beginning. Why the low review: I am not as disappointed the house did not sale as the fact there was not a single showing in the six month period even after lowering the price. I did expect more. For a combined potential lower-end commission of almost $47,000 I did expect more. My only regret is that I did not get more involved sooner. The photography was exceptional though.

When we approached her about also selling our Jefferson City home, she recommended another EXP realtor who knows the area much better. The fact that she admitted Jefferson City real estate was not her strength demonstrated integrity and honesty. The realtor she recommended was fantastic. Jasmyne is energetic and full of ideas. She's lived in Columbia her entire life, and it shows. She listened carefully to our wants, needs, and goals for our real estate purchase. She showed properties we demonstrated interest in, as well as suggesting others she thought fit our profile. Jasmyne is NOT a high pressure salesperson and was completely transparent about home locations, features, and conditions, always keeping our goals in mind. She encouraged us to do our own research and provided resources to assist us. If she saw any red flags, she made them apparent. When we scheduled a second set of showings, I fell ill and we could not keep our appointments. Jasmyne went to those homes in our stead, providing virtual tours of each one complete with pros and cons. Once we selected the home we wished to purchase, Jasmyne was extremely proactive. She consulted contractors to look into any concerns we had. She once again went above and beyond, researching inspectors, movers, lenders, contractors, and landscapers. No detail or concern was too small for her expert assistance. She respected my health limitations and went out of her way to find and provide every necessary service in order to make our transition as smooth as possible. I truly had very little to do other than pack. Shortly before we were due to close on both homes, I fell ill and required inpatient care. Not wanting to throw everyone off schedule, I immediately contacted both of our realtors, as well as our lender. Jasmyne worked tirelessly with the rest of our team to keep us on schedule. They arranged for a notary so I could sign from the hospital (my choice, not theirs. They offered to change dates under the circumstances.) Jasmyne even sent flowers and snacks to my room. Because of my health limitations, Jasmyne offered to complete our final walkthrough, paying attention to every detail, pointing out any areas of concern, and making sure we were completely satisfied, which we were. Jasmyne has an acute eye for detail; readily answers texts, calls, and emails; and works hard to make every aspect of the sale go smoothly, even the things most people asdume are not a realtor's responsibility. Jasmyne also seemed invested in us as people, showing concern with our lows and joy with our highs. We truly feel we have a friend in the real estate business, and she promised our relationship did not end with closing. She still displays interest in our goals as individuals, as well as ensuring we are still satisfied with our home and her role in making our dreams a reality. Perhaps the most touching part of all is that she asked for photos of our pets since we have no children. At the time of this post, she is still at work on a painting of our fur family, which we hope to see soon. Wr know she put as much effort in the painting as she did in customer service.
