Experiencia negativa: This person was selling a property, on our block . It is an empty lot with a garage on it. It also has issues and cannot have sewer hooked up without a pumping station (which is expensive). She misrepresented the amount of the property that was for sale, as well. I made her aware of the property issues, but yet some poor fellow bought the property and was not made aware of these issues. She even said to him that the property went way deeper than it actually does. Inspoke with him right after the purchase. He was very confused about the whole situation. This is an unethical and unprofessional representation of your company (I hope it's a misrepresentation). Save yourself the trouble and use a different company that will tell you the truth about what you're buying!

Experiencia fantástica: I called Kristin Goodwin before I was actually ready to list a house because it had been a rental, and I knew it needed work before it was ready to go to market. Even before we had an official agreement, she was a treasure of amazing advice and ideas. She supplied names and contact information for people to do work on the house at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. She helped me understand what improvements would be financially worthwhile and would help the house sell quickly. At the same time, she was completely up front about the state of the housing market and tempered expectations for timeframe and what the asking price improvement could be for my investment of time and money. In short, she's the real deal -knowledgeable, connected, and turned out to be absolutely right on all counts. So, of course I listed the house with her. As I look at comps in the area, I'm thrilled with having gotten top dollar for my property. She knows her markets. She even arranged a sweet deal to have the house staged, which I firmly believe caused us to get a great offer in weeks instead of months (saving me more than the cost of staging in carrying costs). In the end, the buyers got a little unreasonable about a couple of items, and Kristin went above and beyond to keep the deal in tact and shield me from having to do a bunch of extra work I didn't have time for by liaising with the buyers' agent and a contractor on my behalf. Kristin worked her magic. I walked away happy. The buyers walked away happy. I recognize that is because Kristin Goodwin is expert at what she does. I just wish I had more houses to sell with Kristin!

Experiencia negativa: If you are reading this, I would recommend a different broker/realtor. More info below. I am a late 20's individual looking to buy my first home and I was connected to this agency via Zillow back in December 2024. Initially I had nothing but good experiences with Pennie Carroll and their realtor Kristin but as time went on, they clearly did not care to work with me or prioritize my homebuying experience. They sent me homes 3x outside my limit in areas I was not interested in living in, and when I requested the separation forms they initially said yes to nullifying our agreement and then continued to try and get me to pay a referral fee to switch to a different realtor.There is nothing in the agreement that says I need to pay them when separating, only upon the sale of a house. Several days after I sent a message listing cause to nullify our agreement Pennie Carroll still has not responded with any document stating our agreement is void. I am now forced to either let the yearlong agreement expire in Jan 2026 or talk to an attorney. I may not understand Real Estate Pennie, but I do understand someone trying to get the better of me. Please be aware when signing this contract that you may be getting more than you bargained for.

I was ready to pay the asking price it seemed fair to me. But with Lauren's knowledge of the market he told me that we could do better and through his negotiation skills we did. Lauren helped me save thousands upon thousands of dollars on my purchase for which I am eternally grateful.
