Experiencia negativa: Donald was a great person to work with, but do not go with their reccomended home warranty package. So many things have broken or fallen apart since we moved in and the warranty has covered absolutely nothing. They actively set as many loopholes as possible to get out of paying a thing. I feel a little cheated that this otherwise great team pushed this so hard on me. They seemed very honest and straightforward otherwise.

From start to finish they worked very hard to find the exact home we were looking for and they didn’t just drop us after the house was bought. They are a one stop shop for all of your home needs. Karla Alaniz was our realtor and she was the very best realtor we’ve dealt with! We love her!

Experiencia negativa: They talked a good talk but we had to ask for an open house after the house was on the market for over a month. We requested to sell the house “as is”, but in the end we had to make repairs and supply the buyer with a home warranty. We were told we would get updates each Monday but had to ask for them when we didn’t receive them. Because the house was a small older home in East Des Moines I don’t believe we were marketed as aggressively as a larger more expensive home. At closing we had no clue how it was going to happen since we weren’t in town. Their communication was lacking. It was a disappointing experience.

She gave us lots of tips on some changes to make to make it more presentable to sellers and helped connect us with a stager. One of their other realtors, Jamie, met with us to see what kind of house we wanted to find to buy. We had been looking for at least 5 years for a contemporary house with land. We appreciated that he actually actively looked for us and didn't just put us on an automatic mailing for 5 bedroom houses. We found the perfect house and Jamie moved quickly and persistently to get it locked in for us. The Ibarra team all worked together to make both sales efficient and easy. It's been 2 years since and they stay in touch still sending us market updates, hosting client appreciation days for all of their previous clients and even gave us a free house cleaning service for our old house as we moved out and for the new house as we moved in!
