Experiencia negativa: Zero Stars - Would Not Recommend! I purchased a property using the Dixon Group and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. The agent I was dealing with was very nice and tried to be helpful but it became clear that she had bad management and direction from the people above her and it kept coming up throughout the process to make almost every aspect of the deal difficult and unenjoyable. The search was not customized to my preferences and took multiple tries to get it even close. I found the property on my own through a different online site instead of getting it from my agent. The property was already off the market and I asked the agent about backup offers or to let me know if the deal fell through. A few weeks later I checked back on the property and found it was listed again, instead of the agent telling me. I viewed the property by myself with the selling agent because my agent or any of her colleagues couldn't attend. The price was more than I was prequalified for so the agent connected me with her lending department who was able to pre-qualify me for more and we got an offer accepted. I later found out that the recommended lender made a huge mistake and couldn't actually give me a loan for the amount that was accepted in the offer. During the contract negotiations, I asked the agent to include me in all correspondence and calls with the seller and selling agent. I repeatedly asked this throughout the process and it never happened and no one could give me any reason or justification why. After the inspection, there were major concerns about if the property could be financed and how the appraisal would come in. I asked for meetings with the agent and lender to come up with a strategy. I was shut down and not included. This resulted in the appraisal not coming back as the property was listed and delaying the deal by over two weeks. We ended up having to split the property into two deals and during the negotiations after the inspection, appraisal, and during the contract split, I was told multiple times the sellers would not negotiate. A few days later, the seller offered to negotiate and even conceded some things without us even asking. This proved that the agent (manager) was lying to me, not being transparent, and not working in my best interests. During the time when the contract had to be split, there were several deadlines approaching. The agent's responsibilities were not addressed until the last minute, putting pressure on me to sign contracts with only an hour to review instead of days. At one point the deal actually fell through and I was out of contract because the documents were not completed by the agent and sent to the seller until 9pm when the deadline was 12am allowing the seller no time to review them. The contract had to be amended several times because of unrealistic dates, typos, and errors by the agent (manager). The rest of the issues were due to the lender but this was also a lender recommended by the agent. Overall, I don't blame my agent, she was very nice and I could tell she was trying. I also found out she was in the middle of wedding planning so I understand she was probably stretched thin. Her manager began getting involved halfway through the process and she was the worst. She was never pleasant to talk to over the phone, interrupting me, giving me ultimatums, attitude, and not answering my questions. I could tell most of the issues I had earlier were due to her bad management and training. I understand my deal was not straightforward and was more difficult than most but it's still within the normal job duties of an agent and their manager. I felt like I could have done a better job on my own and if it weren't for the extra effort I put into making this deal happen it would have fell through because of the poor management from the Dixon Group. Besides my agent being nice, I can't think of a single thing that the Dixon Group did well

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RECOMMEND. Our agent, Jonathan Beverly, was unprofessional and not competent. Not only did he not know what was happening most of the time, he also failed to disclose important information to us before we closed on the property. He knew that the basement had flooded before our closing day and chose to withold that information until we signed all the paperwork. After closing, we found out the home had extensive water damage that cost us thousands of dollars to repair. Not once did someone take accountability or even apologize for this. The CEO, Daniel Dixon, was unresponsive and disregarded the issue. I emailed him to explain the situation, he said he would call us and never did, even after I followed up again. I am a first time home buyer and highly discourage you from using the Dixon Group.

Experiencia negativa: My partner and I are first time home buyers. Johnathan was our agent. On the day of closing, literally right after we signed all the closing documents, we went to the house and discovered big drying fans in the basement. No one told us there was water damage. This violates the failure to disclose law. We have been fighting with the agent, agency and owner, however no one wants to take responsibility for the damage that was never disclosed to us PRIOR to signing. After every heavy rain water would flood the basement. We were left with over $4,000 of damages and repairs immediately upon closing. I would not recommend this agency, they will take advantage of you. Especially if you are a first time home buyer.

She was always very quick to respond to both my questions and to new contracts sent by the seller. When the time came for home inspection, and inspection resolution, she went out of her way to line up an inspector and plumber and made the whole experience relatively painless.
