Experiencia fantástica: Our family cannot sing enough praises about the Centurion team's response to our recent call for service to our rental. The older gas water heater had suddenly reached the end of its lifespan. An internal tank failure caused quite a mess and left us without hot water. A very prompt return call from David led to Centurion sending a very knowledgeable plumbing technician from their maintenance team, Christian. Despite his best efforts and due diligence, while diagnosing and attempting to repair, it became clear the water heater needed to be completely replaced. With two young children, we feared having to go without hot water in the house while waiting for approval on a replacement. We were so grateful when Christian, our technician said he is also a father. (As was apparent by is demeanor and interaction with our kids while not skipping a beat on completing the job). Christian was amazing, to say the least. Knowledgeable, friendly, and yet professional. He quickly had the brand new gas water heater ordered/delivered and he professionally installed it without cutting any corners. In less than 24 hours from the time we called to report the maintenance issue, the Centurion team worked to ensure we were "back in action". We certainly trust Centurion to take care of both tenant's and the property owner's best interests. WELL DONE!

It's a hard task finding the right place to live and reviews or phots online can be deceiving. In my case, I am looking for a management company to assist with my rental, and that too can be a difficult task when most companies online look and sound amazing. The professionalism of Centurion matches their site presence. The time to listen to me and feel I have been heard with my needs was attended to with much care. No doubt if you need assistance with Centurion in your rental situations, they can take care of you.

I put in a work order for my toilet being clogged Jorge came out right away and made sure to fix the problem he was polite and sanitized all the surfaces when he was done! Experiencia negativa: This business has a Better Business Bureau rating of F due to refusing to respond to complaints filed against them. I never had much of a problem with them while we were living in their rental. The rental itself was in terrible condition and not very clean when we moved in. HOWEVER! WARNING!! When you move out, they will try to keep your entire security deposit and charge you exorbitant, wayyyy over market price to fix the most basic things. They charged us $90 for a curtain rod that was askew and $165 to replace some small kitchen window blinds that were already damaged when we moved in. It's very clear they are jacking up the contractor's prices (when they clearly have in-house contractors) in order to take "labor" costs out of the deposit. While I disputed the charges, it was not very effective. They are planning on you not documenting and getting tired fighting them. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. And NEVER trust these people. No matter how nice they may seem they are not in this business to help you; they are here to take as much money as they can from you.

Not long ago my father passed away and he lived in a duplex that was managed by Centurion Real Estate Management. I felt extremely rushed to get all of his stuff packed and into storage for fear of losing it, after all, a person accumulates a lot of belongings when they live in one place for 20 years. Centurion went above and beyond in helping me to extend the lease into my name, so that way I didn't have to feel an exuberant amount of pressure to not only take care of everything that comes with the loss of a loved one, but also the loss of my home. They didn't treat me like a number or like a dollar sign. Instead they listened, they cared, and they worked with me through every step of the way. I thank God for their kindness and I hope other have the pleasure of working together with Centurion in the future.

They deleted our old online account with prior owner without notice, so we didn't have our rental insurance policy number. They wanted us to buy another one. They also charged us twice on rent putting us in the red. Great first impression, Centurion. **Edit: They fixed it. All's right. Still extremely untrusting.

Centurion never once harassed us, never once invaded in our privacy and that is because we followed their rules!! Simple as that! Second, Raul was very helpful & excellent employee in his assistance. Third, why the hell do you expect employees to have to request feedback. I must say my overall experience with Centurion Real Estate is not professional. While Raul was excellent, your office employees were very disrespectful. I moved into this rental on September 21, 2022. I had to knock on the door at your Salem office to give my deposit & first rent check. I knocked on the door & the gal who answered said “l heard you, what do you want?” I gave my cashier check outside on a clipboard and the gal there was rude!!! I asked is there a garage door opener for the house??? All she could say rudely “I don’t know”. I never have dealt with such rude costumer service at you Salem office. Please talk to those employees about being amenable to customers

It is hard to find people who will give a prospective tenant the time of day without an application and fee having been done already by the prospective tenant. However, Juan did attend to my inquiry even without these things, and as a result, we did put in an application. I greatly appreciate the time he took out of his busy day to talk with me. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Went to go look at one of their rentals. It was in great shape. Juan was able to get me in for a showing with only 2 hr notice. When I saw that the kitchen cubards didn't close all the way. Juan immediately sent a request to maintenance and immediately let me know when they got it. Experiencia negativa: Be HIGHLY AWARE!! They're using extremely shady renting practices an doing whatever they like, believing nobody will retaliate. They requested a security deposit from me after my girlfriend had already been living there with here previous boyfriend for a few years. They requested a full security deposit from both her an her bf when before moving in. When I moved in, they requested the same from me, an I fought an argued that it didn't make sense seeing as there's already been 2 security deposits before. They also never gave her previous bf his deposit back after moving out. Now that we've broken up, an I've moved out, they're saying they don't give deposits back if anyone is living there, weird since they're taking deposits based on the individuals an not the unit, right? Per LAW they are required to give deposits back within 2-3 weeks after an individual hads moved out, where they could skirt around this is if they had only received one deposits per the unit, then it would not be returned until everyone is out. So now I'm putting them on blast, an soon every news station will know too, along with a small claims court, which I intent to go for 5k. :) Have a great day Centurion Scam Artists!!

Was able to review the home within an hour by entering a code that was on the door lock box. Our family was able to tour it and apply easily online. Was provided Juan’s contact info when application was submitted, and he kept me up to date via email on my application status. Very seamless process to SEE and APPLY ONLY.

Experiencia negativa: Travesty of a management company and most likely a huge motivation for the previous owner to sell. Two years into owning a property previously managed by centurion, I’m still getting notice of building permits that have not been closed by them and city inspections with deficiencies that were not corrected by centurion. They even approved a previously homeless tenant with insufficient income prior to my purchase of the property that I had to remove after a difficult battle. Their contractors do sub par work and the staff is a revolving door. DO NOT HIRE THEM! hope an honest experience helps future property management seekers

Experiencia positiva: Moved in and within a month my dishwasher stopped working. It's been two months now and still hasn't been fixed. Consistently contacted them. They continue to ignore my messages about a discount from utilities. Won't be renting from these apartments when my lease is up.
