Experiencia negativa: Additional context?? I didn't provide any because I had nothing positive to contribute. I concede my agent advocate has been in direct communication regarding my PRIME account. She's responsive and I respect her effort. However, my experience with ReferralExchange is that most of the "referrals" are suspicious, annoyed, and/or verbally abusive. So, I no longer attempt contact. Multiple transactions?? 9 out of 540, 1.67%, during 8 years from 2018-2026. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of the "fine print" in the terms and conditions when I was solicited, and agreed, to join PRIME so I'm stuck paying $99/mo for 7 more months of this 12 month term, but it is what it is. :(

Experiencia negativa: Realtors BEWARE! Be sure to gather as much information as possible on Referral Exchange before you engage in a contract. From my experience they charge much higher referral fees, the leads are never vetted and if they happen to send you a lead that is from a past client of yours they will require you to still pay the referral fee. In reading other reviews, it seems that other Realtors have run into the same thing with Referral Exchange. I had a similar situation with a different referral company, and they waived the referral fee based on my previous client relationship. I have had a much better experience with Fastexpert and Homebird, leads are much better, lower referral fees and great customer service. I would not recommend Referral Exchange. The response below from Referral Exchange states that an agent is never required to accept a referral. What is not disclosed is that they do not give you the client's name and address until the lead has been accepted. On two different occasions I unknowlingly accepted leads from Referral Exchange that were previous clients of mine. I produced evidence, including a recent email exchange between my client and myself in regards to listing their home, the same home I sold to the them years ago. Referral Exchange refused to waive the referral fee. My clients were furious and also tried to contact Referral Exchange with no response. It was then that I canceled my contract with them. Again, I would not recommend Referral Exchange.

Experiencia negativa: Realtors BEWARE! They send you bogus, unvetted leads. When you say you would like to cancel they force you to commit to them for 12 months! I would not recommend. In fact I have discouraged my agents to sign with them.

Experiencia negativa: Do not register as an agent!!! All referrals are auto accept!!! We already received a client by referral, but the client somehow clicked on my husband's name online and ended up on Referral Exchange's website. Referral Exchange sent the referral too, but we did not decline it fast enough as a duplicate so they wanted 30% even though I could show them proof that we had already received the referral prior to their email. They offered to accept 15%, but we already had to pay a 35% referral to the first company. Now they are threatening collections. This is predatory and despicable behavior. I will be filing a BBB complaint.

Experiencia positiva: Its ok. A lot of the leads don’t ever answer the phone and having the leads page tell us we missed out on commissions because we were “too slow” is incorrect and insulting.

We did like our previous agent but we weren't getting the exposure that we were paying for.

And let me know when a property I found wasn’t was or was not suitable. They were on top of it when properties came on the market.

Experiencia negativa: These referral operations should be considered fraudulent and a form of piracy. I was already working with a client and had completed a CMA and had paperwork drawn up and ready to go live on the MLS. My client was curious about what amount they should ask for their property. A few online searches and somehow he inadvertently got my name included in a search somehow. Next thing we know our Brokerage is being contacted by Referral Exchange claiming we will owe a percentage of my commission to them in referral fees. Realtors appreciate ethical and moral referrals but leaching a percent of my commission from a client incase already working with and have dates, times, texts and emails to verify is ridiculous. Any attempts to verify this with Referral Exchange results in returned "unable to send" emails. They had no problem communicating with my client and Brokerage up until they found out we could prove we already had him as a client before they intervened. Now all attempts are ignored. Hmmmm. Seems very suspicious.

My only complaint is that it was confusing to get a short list from both ReferralExchange and RealEstateAgents.com, and the lists were not exactly the same. Instead of 4 listing agents to pick from, I had a total of 6 to then narrow down to 1.

Their service was not as advertised, and I found their process to be misleading and unhelpful. Instead of providing quality referrals, they seemed more focused on taking a cut from transactions without adding real value. Communication was poor, and I felt like I was just another number rather than a valued client. When I reached out for support, responses were slow and lacked helpful solutions. The agents I was connected with did not meet my expectations, and it seemed like they prioritized their own commission over finding a good match. Overall, I would not recommend ReferralExchange to anyone looking for a smooth and trustworthy experience. There are better alternatives out there that genuinely care about clients and referrals.

Experiencia negativa: I recently spoke with Shauntae Hill-James regarding my account and expressed my desire to cancel my contract due to a lack of qualified leads. She informed me that my contract was set to auto-renew—something I was not aware of— and that I was locked in for another six months. While she did show me how to disable the auto-renewal feature, she was unwilling to assist in fully canceling my account, despite my dissatisfaction with the service. Instead, she suggested that if I had concerns about canceling the pre-authorized payments, I should take it up with my credit card company. As a business owner, I believe that if a client no longer wishes to work with me, I would grant them a release, regardless of a contract. Unfortunately, there was no effort on her part to de-escalate the situation or offer any meaningful resolution, which is something I would expect from a customer service representative. Additionally, my experience with ReferralExchange's customer service has been disappointing. I attempted to contact them two months ago and again one month ago, leaving messages and sending an email requesting to cancel my account. I never received a response. Based on my experience, it seems the company may be operating with minimal staff, which could explain the poor level of service. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in customer service and transparency regarding contract terms.

Experiencia negativa: Referral Exchange has continued to harass our brokers and seem to believe that unsuspecting potential clints are owned by The Referral Exchange just because they sign up on their website. Members of the public sign on to several websites to look for resources to find a home & sometimes without understanding that all these companies do is try and make money off of data. A name & phone number. Call your local Realtors Association World Wide before you give up personal information, companies like this do nothing to aid in helping you find the right home.

The neat thing is that Nancy is a realtor in both the Victoria and Edmonton real estate markets, so she helped me with the purchase of my new home in Edmonton! Experiencia negativa: As a real estate sales professional, I would not recommend this service to others in my industry. In my experience, I have come to believe that this service is set up to benefit Referral Exchange rather than the real estate agents it is supposed to be working for. Under their system, without providing any info on the referral property or referral clients, an agent has no way to determine the validity or benefit of the referral. You are basically agreeing blindly to a real estate referral. On several occasions, I have had to contact them after accepting a referral to reveal that I was already working with the client/property and that the referral was not necessary. In fact, what I feel this service often does is take income from a real estate agent in cases where the referral did absolutely nothing to advance the existing relationship. As such, Referral Exchange demands payment for an existing relationship, claiming it was their one-time contact which made all of the difference. What's worse is that they have been generally unwilling to cooperate in these cases, hiding behind their blind referral offers and referral contract and seemingly disinterested in using common sense or deciding these conflicts on a case by case basis. I have not been impressed at all by the communication and lack of understanding by this company considering they are working for real estate professionals. There are many options for referral companies on the web and based on my experience, I would certainly not suggest anyone in my industry work with Referral Exchange.

It went up for sale on the Monday morning and we accepted a great offer on The Friday afternoon. The price we got was higher than we thought we would get. Chris was great and we certainly recommend him.

She walked us through the process and was very concern that we understood what each step was. Very polite and we felt like family. I was very comfortable asking questions. And the process was quick. Here as per your request is my feedback, as a result of the recent $3,813.75 referral fee that you recently received for the closing of Front St. 1) your increased fee without any notice or discussions.... now your services are much tooooo expensive. 2) by the time you get your $3,813.75 (30 percent) and Century 21 takes their 20 +/- percent (depending on the commissions so far in that particular yea), and the government takes their 47% of my commission net income..... you can see there is not much remaining for the real estate work, time, efforts and out of pocket expenses. 3) the recent added benefit?? 'feature' / fee for Prime Support, was absolutely a cash grab and no benefit whatsoever. Very disappointed! Thank you for your referrals to date. Would absolutely appreciate reverting back to the 25 % that was originally the arrangement. However, look forward to getting increased referrals, as this year seems to be slower.... unless you have built up your data base of referring Agents in my area and thus the pie is smaller. Thank you.

Experiencia positiva: Referral Exchange is a really sticky website that catches people looking for top agents in their area, getting their info and then farming it out to a bunch of realtors knowing that someone will likely get the business and they will make money for doing not much other than having a great website. And as of late they are upping their referral fees for not even speaking to the client often... As for the client they are often bombarded by realtors who may or may not be a good fit for them if they are even wanting the service of a realtor. I also feel bombarded by RE for payment when it has been sent, and phone calls if I don't answer them right away. I think a truly customer based business would be better and connecting the right realtors with clients not just spamming out information would benefit everyone better. I appreciate the business but I am doing all of the work and pitted against my colleagues at the clients expense.

Experiencia negativa: These guys are predators. I have a current active listing that I had procured the lead for 3 days prior to their lead popping into my inbox. Their system is such that you obviously don't see the address of the property and you click on the lead to accept it (And the referral fee ). They are now saying I am obligated to pay ,which I will refuse to as I have multiple emails showing I had the listing presentation sent and ready for my seller 1 day prior to their lead submission ! Is this good business? They said I had to have had a signed listing agreement to constitute me not having to pay them a referral fee? You kidding me? These guys are predators and the system is setup in such a way. Don't let this happen to you.

Experiencia negativa: I could write a book about how horrible this Real Estate referral program is, but I'll keep it short and sweet. A consumer enters their information only to have several agents call begging for their business. Then when the agent secures the client they do all the work and have to send 30% of their commission to Referral Exchange. This isn't a great business model for anyone looking to buy or sell Real Estate and for that reason I shut down my account. If you're looking to buy or sell google a local realtor in your area. There are plenty around and let them earn your business by providing extraordinary service. Instead of giving 30% of their commission to referral exchange maybe they can donate it to a worth cause or credit some towards your closing costs.

There had been another Realtor involved and they were not happy with her...not responsive. I got a nice review. But the hard part for me to talk about is the sales team who is trying to sell me the idea of getting someone to pre-call, qualify and act as a concierge for a mere 995 set up and 95 per month. They missed the first 2 call appointments and the 3rd one was 8 minutes late. Like I say, I made money, you made money on the Liberman deal and I am complaining about a sales effort. You are doing fine. No need for that.

However, I have had several that have worked out well and are business I would not have had otherwise. This site is easy to report updates on and to close out.

The property was shown frequently and some adjustments to the house (removing curtains, replacing an outlet cover and adding some flowers) helped get potential buyers interested.
