Fantastic experience: I've lived here for 1 years great place and friendly neighbors also neighbor is very close to transportation which is convenient for me. When I need a repair Maison Property Management Maintenance never takes long to fix problem great place to live I would highly recommend my friends to live here.

Fantastic experience: The maintenance staff are so pleasant and efficient. Michael was so nice and fixed our issues. I put the request in that morning and he came the same day. Actually everyone we have had conversations/contact with have been so helpful and nice. Joe has been awesome and answered our questions. We are very impressed with our new management. We have been here 7 months and without knowing the property was for sale when we moved in April 4, 2025, in August Masion took over. They have been amazing with the turn over. We have already signed for next year. We love our apartment.

Negative experience: Do not rent 699 Park Ave unit 2!!! It’s right above leonores which plays music on their outside speakers loudly until 1:00am some nights. I asked Maison a few times if they could get them to turn the music down, that didn’t work (I’m assuming they don’t want to disrupt a big client for them, since they rent a big space). Also the rodents…. I know Maison knows it’s a problem around here, was even warned by a tenant before we moved in about the rodents. Constantly having to come back and do maintenance on they can’t fix the first couples times Just kind of a lackluster experience and we’re glad to get out of here

Negative experience: PSA: Don’t let any reply they give fool you. My wife and I have just discovered that the owners at Maison allow their friends access to our building who does not live here to use for free. If you live in any Maison apt please lock your doors and things securely and consider other landlords! Strangers should not be trespassing in your house!

We had to be out by the first.. knowing this, she got us a showing after the office was closed, and was able to get everything together for us in 24 hours so we could move in. Very good at answering calls and texts. Gene was very easy to talk to and informative.

Fantastic experience: Kitchen Sink was contracted by Maison Management to repair two leaks in my studio apartment. All went MORE than well. The studio is in an older complex with much architectural character. The woman from KS was superb! She worked non-stop for several hours. It was not easy! I think Maison Mgmt has contracted a network of expert professionals to service this older but unique property. Thanks to both Kitchen Sink and Maison Mgmt. TRULY!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went to tour the townhome on Monday and was approved by Tuesday afternoon. We had an amazing experience with the tour guide Gene, he was kind and very knowledgeable about the area. The management team were professional and have great communication. The moving in process was easy to schedule and they have keyless entry at this location which is a plus.

Fantastic experience: Maison has been great to work with since living in one of their apartments. Great location in the city and any maintenance request was always handled in a timely, professional ,manner. I would recommend their properties to anyone in search of a place for rent!

Negative experience: Do not work with this company. I believe they are scamming people for $20 application fees and then not granting viewings. They initially scheduled me for a viewing via text message, then cancelled it the next day telling me it was already rented. But then I come to see the very next day that the same apartment is still advertised as available on their website and also newly re-posted to Craigslist!! Any place that demands your personal and financial information upfront - (before even talking with you at all, or allowing you to view the apartment) - is not trustworthy in my opinion. That’s my take.

Fantastic experience: Maison Management had to redo my front porch roof today and while I dreaded the mess , the complete opposite happened, Chuck and his crew were not only professional but they made sure my garden was protected from the debris. They arrived on time and finished in a timely manner . They left my front yard spotless , I was so impressed by their friendliness and professionalism!! Chuck and his crew were great !

Fantastic experience: Maison took over a property we were originally leasing from someone else but the change in management wasn’t a problem at all! A few years later they even helped us transfer to a nicer apartment that they own even though we had run into a few financial issues over the years with them. I really appreciate their understanding and helpfulness in the process and look forward to future years in my new apartment with them!

Positive experience: I've just renewed my lease for the second time with Maison. I've been overall happy with my experience here, and I'm content to continue renting from them. I like the uniqueness of the apartments in my building, our unit includes hardwoods and exposed brick. I've had decent responses from maintenance, and problems have been fixed in a timely manner. Rent is very reasonable, and while the rent is regularly raised each year, it's never been by too much.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Maison going on 4 years. I’ve had a few bad things happen but wasn’t their fault and whatever it was was handled in a timely matter. Everyone I’ve dealt with from mike to Cheryl to all the maintenance men to the owner have all been great. Every place will have slight issues but over all a dope set of people ! Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been living in a Maison apartment in Corn Hill for three months now, and it’s been an amazing experience. The community is quiet and respectful no loud music, even on weekends and I’ve never had to file a single complaint. Maintenance is professional they show up in a company work truck and branded shirts, which you don’t always see with other companies. Maison clearly vets their tenants well. I’ve never had a package go missing, and some neighbors even bring them inside the hall way to keep them safe. After hearing horror stories from friends renting elsewhere, I’m so glad I went with Maison.

Negative experience: If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This management company is poorly run. An appointment was established after many texts back and forth. They wanted to be absolutely sure I was qualified before they even set up an appointment. The appointment was set for a Saturday at noon. They texted me days before (several times) to make sure I would be there. They sent another text the day of, just to be sure I was still going & asking to confirm. They provided the agent's name "Gene" and provided a phone number. ( The phone number provided went to their office voicemail) I was a few minutes early and sent them a text letting them know I was there & a description of my car. I received no response. 15 minutes later I was still waiting & sent another text inquiring about the appointment. The response was, "so sorry, do want to reschedule?" Seriously? They went over the top to make sure I qualified & would be there. Then they don't even show & asked if I wanted to reschedule. What person in their right mind would reschedule after all of that.

Fantastic experience: Great complex to live in, any maintenance request are dealt with very quickly. It’s very quiet and peaceful here. Cheryl is awesome and always gets back to me quickly. I highly recommend this apartment complex

Fantastic experience: We have had a pleasant experience with Maison Management. I have rented 2 different apartments with them within the past 4 years. Anytime we have had to put in a maintenance request they are here to fix the issue within 48 hours but usually the next day! The staff members are very nice, flexible and understanding. We especially have loved working with Cheryl. The move in and move out experience has been very easy and straightforward. If you are a good tenant that takes good care of your apartment and you pay your rent there really is nothing to complain about. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a new apartment.

Fantastic experience: If I ever have any issues going on with my apartment , which is rarely , the maintenance team is effective, always answer within a day. And usually right there to fix it! Great service!!

Fantastic experience: whenever i call in a work order (which has not been that many) my issue is fixed within a 24 hr window. Cheryl knows everything at Stenwick and goes above and beyond to accommodate everyone. The work is professional and done in a timely manner. Maison and their workers do everything in their power to make their tenants happy!

Fantastic experience: I’ve lived here for a year so far and it’s nice. The management team is very responsive, and quick with support. The ac isn’t incredibly but the insulation is actually great. The heat works well tho!

Fantastic experience: I am a current resident one of Madison Properties and I reported a maintenance concern in my bathroom. Within a matter of a few hours a technician was at my door to check it out. The problem was resolved shortly, mainly due to the knowledge of the technician who was very helpful,courteous and very professional. A 5 Star experience !

Fantastic experience: Every time something goes wrong in my apartment, which isn’t very often they are there most of the time the very next day at the latest the day after that and they do a great job all the time

Fantastic experience: Maintenance is always quick and easily resolved. Ron with Maison in Rochester always fixes my maintenance requests as soon as working hours are open and even works with my schedule to get service completed. On top of that he is very nice to my dog, who is not always thrilled to have someone he does not know in the apartment.

Fantastic experience: Had a good move in experience. Love our apartment so far. Cheryl & the workman who came by to fix our locks (don’t remember his name) were very kind & helpful. Cheryl was very accommodating and has answered all and any questions I’ve had. (Edited review to include Ron’s name! Thank you!)

Positive experience: Recently renewed my lease, and I do really love living here. The location is great, they are incredibly responsive and Ron with the maintenance crew is amazing!! Incredibly patient and responsive and fixes our issues quickly and makes sure we understand how and why something was broken. The only reason it's 4 instead of 5 stars is the apartment on move in had some pretty glaring issues, but the property itself is very old and all concerns have mostly been resolved.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Ron from Maintenance at Maison Property. Very helpful and super fast, to fixing my window and blinds. I love my apartment.

Fantastic experience: I had Michael come to fix oven in my apartment and he was very nice. I have bad anxiety so I don’t usually complain about maintenance unless I have no choice but he ended up fixing all the other issues in my apartment as well. My Garbage disposal wasn’t working and my sink needed to be tightened :)

Fantastic experience: Cheryl is the best!!!!! She really helped me every time I needed it and was always so pleasant. She attitude never made me feel like I was bothering her and I needed lots of help.

Fantastic experience: The property was nice and clean but because of the overwhelming smell of cat spray I would find it hard to reside there if it couldn’t be completely eradicated. Hannah was stellar! I found her friendly and professional and even offered to help send me a few other rental prospects my way. Fantastic experience: I have lived in Canandaigua Gardens for about 18 months. Maintenance was fast and staff in general were very responsive and friendly. Rent was reasonable given the location (basically walking distance from the lake). I would recommend Maison and specifically Canandaigua Gardens to anyone. I'd like to specifically shout out Cheryl and Arion, who were both super helpful during my move in and as I'm preparing to move away.

Fantastic experience: Wanted to move across town to be closer to my son. Maison Management has a very easy process to transfer within their locations. I worked with Cheryl when I found the perfect location!. Within 24 hours she contacted me, I completed the application paperwork and she showed me the unit today! I am absolutely happy with the process. Check out their website and thanks Cheryl !! Well. the move occurred 6 days ago. As anyone who has ever moved knows there are boxes everywhere. But the size and space in the apartment are great. The Maison Team has handled every request quickly and professionally. They work well as a team. I hope to stay here a long time.

Fantastic experience: It was a Friday when I was trying to get into the portal and sign the leases and do everything. When I realized I'd sign the wrong lease. I was kind of going out of my mind but Cheryl was wonderful. She stayed with me and walked me through things and I wasn't done yet. When I had to go and scatter my brother's ashes Cheryl was very kind and told me we could wait until Monday to finish everything. That took a big load off my mind. She helped me until my griend and I had both of our portals working, leases signed, and monies paid. A great experience.

Positive experience: I wasn't thrilled with the complex takeover by Maison at 345 SPENCERPORT RD., ROCHESTER,NY at first, the transition from 55+ to whatever age has shown a significant deterioration in the quality of living here. The exterior upkeep ( snow removal, debris,etc.) has dwindled somewhat, and since I live here, I do my part in that upkeep. But after stepping into the actual office and speaking to Cheryl ( receptionist ), my opinion has been upgraded. She was so very pleasant to speak to and explained my issues with the most complete comprehensive understanding possible ! Thanks Cheryl. To the other Cheryl ( maintenance) , I tip my hat for her speedy and efficient response to maintenance issues which was done with a pleasant personality. I will renew my lease this year and I hope that my presence here will be just as good of an experience as I now feel for the Maison family group. K.J.Faulkner

Fantastic experience: I recently renewed my lease at Maison. I love living here. The apartments are big & have spacious storage for a 1 bedroom. Maintenance is also super quick & nice. This is a perfect location b/c we’re close to a gym, restaurants, grocery stores, a park, daycare, private school, and the highway. Neighbors are super nice & the neighborhood is safe. Only thing is that I wish the washer & driers were newer, but they still work fine. I also like that we have a cute little garden outback. Also, parking is plentiful.

Fantastic experience: A particular shout out to Michael from Maison’s management team. Not only is he really good at his job, but he’s a kind and considerate soul. In general, I will say that having rented from Maison for about 3 years now (Merriman St. and then East Avenue), I find them to be fair and responsive. The resident portal on their app allows for efficient communication - for example, submitting a maintenance request. All of the staff: other technicians; Cheryl in the front office, Mark as maintenance mgr; Joe, Brian, and Hannah are excellent. I’m happy to have settled in their properties.

Fantastic experience: Had a work order put in for Fridge/Freezer acting up at a Rental property Owned and Run Maison Properties and they a person out right away his name was Michael and he Did some Troubleshooting and figured out what was going on he then defrosted the Freezer and Got it Set to the Correct Temperature it now is working Great thanks again Michael and Maison for such prompt and Professional Customer Service

Fantastic experience: I can’t say anything about the management company and there are questionable aspects to my apartment itself but every time I have issues Micheal is always there to help. Things are always fixed in a timely matter. He is super helpful and his jolly demeanor does not make me dread my apartment issues. Overall, Micheal is a great professionally and personally!

Negative experience: In response to your comment - everyone I spoke with and worked with at Maison was extremely courteous and prompt, and I am grateful for your flexibility on my move out date. However, the safety concerns I experienced while living in your building, as well as the poor communcation regarding maintainence on the property, especially with regard to accessing amenities listed in the lease, have led to my rating.

Negative experience: Please don't rent from them. Overpriced, undermaintained, will wring you out for every dollar. I promise they don't care about you they just want every penny they can get from you. I had a 9 month lease on N. Goodman St and aside from the other tenants being super pleasant, was a horrible experience.

Fantastic experience: I've been renting my appartment for 3 1/2 years now. Any small issues were resolved quickly, especially at a time like this (Covid). Rent is affordable, employees at the office are kind and professional. Maison has been nothing but accommodating to my requests and needs.The online portal is an ansolute bonus! Positive experience: I have lived in my current dwelling for over 13 years, We love our neighborhood and our neighbors. Maison has worked with us during some life issues, and have been very understanding towards us. Whenever a maintenance request is entered, it is usually attended to in a timely manner. We really love the surroundings, its safe, quiet, yard upkeep is well attended to. We really appreciate being here.

Negative experience: One of the worst management companies ever! Maintenance on more than one occasion entered my apartment WITH ZERO NOTICE! I had birds in my heat ducts and had to harass them and call the neighborhood complaint line on them in order for anything to be done about it. Then they sent someone over to "fix where the birds were coming in on the roof" with no notice and the guy was on the roof and knocking on all my doors and trying to get in my apartment so I called the cops. The guy also had his dog running around loose and then tied up in my yard. One of the doors inside my apartment just fell off one day....the front porch was rotting off. One winter they had the driveway taken care of and the next they said they were not doing it same as the year before but they HAD done it the year before. The hot water in the shower wouldn't even last 10 minutes. These people do NOT update or maintain their properties and are the WORST at addressing issues. 0/10 would not recommend to my worst enemy!
