Fantastic experience: I just wanted to take time to pass along how impressed my husband(80) and I(77) are with how the 2 office young ladies work hard to make Northern Lights a safe and fun environment. We have lived here for 1 year now and we enjoy the enthusiastic participation in the Halloween pumpkin decorating contest and the Christmas door decorating contest. We appreciate all the National donut, pancake and waffle Days. The Food Truck this summer put together a delicious sandwich. All these events bring us together to meet our neighbors. And now the Food Drive lets us give back to the community. Makenzie and Brittany are always available to answer questions or just take time to talk. We appreciate and are grateful to have such wonderful young ladies in the Northern Lights office!

Fantastic experience: I placed a maintenance request for an issue in the Master Bathroom. They called me with in 10 minutes to better assess the issue. I asked that the repair person call me when they were on their way and if at all possible if it could be around the lunch hour as I was only 5 minutes away and would meet them at the unit. He did call me and met me there at noon. Because of the triage assessment, he had a pretty good idea what was causing the issue, and was able to go in and fix it with in 10 minutes. I was back at my office with in a half hour. I am so glad I put in a maintenance request when the problem just started and didn't wait. What a great system they have in place.

Negative experience: Leaving a review because I’m not happy about having my husband‘s shoes stolen when they were sitting outside the apartment or to dry I guess we live with a bunch of thieves. Also note that many other people leave their shoes outside their door. They don’t seem to have an issue just me. Mine are sitting right next to his outside the door and we’re still there, but his or not when he returned an hour later to leave the apartment

Fantastic experience: I post this as a reflection of my current experience here at Signature by Prarie Properties in Moorhead, MN. The office now has new, friendly & efficient personnel. It’s a possessive experience to stop by there. But it is the new, handy-type & personable maintenance man that has joined the staff who makes getting your “fix-it” issues handled quickly, completely, even preventatively. Every organization is only as good as the people working for it, and this building is doing a great job of filling its’ key positions.

Fantastic experience: Love living here 3251 one eagle ridge, great looking appartments, great staff. And good neighbors, no frat boy loudness. I was in one, and it's impossible to be quite after 11 pm lol. Great gym, great location , easy online rent payment and maintenance request. You can barely hear any other noise from other appartments due to the very good sound dampening. Have virtue golf, out side patios with fire pits , foosball. Ping pong and TV. They have a pet washing station. Great place , beautiful layout and rooms are beautiful

Negative experience: TERRIBLE. Constant gaslighting. Constant rent increases beyond market value for the condition of the premises . Upkeep greatly lacking in the buildings. Any complaints are held against you instead of providing solutions. Parking is terrible and handicap is Not enforced or monitored. Snow removal and ice is lacking greatly in the winter. Constant staff turnover in Moorhead Office and inconsistent communication. Zach in the Moorhead office is the only respectful and professional person including the Fargo Office.

I have always been treated fairly, any concerns I may have had were dealt with promptly and satisfactory. Fantastic experience: I've lived here almost 7 years and have never had any issues that haven't been addressed within a timely manner. Even if something took longer than expected, if I contacted the office, the staff apologized, explained why, and gave me as close to an estimate as possible. I've never even had any maintenance that had to have return visits.

Negative experience: Packages get stolen almost daily at summit ridge and they refuse to do anything to fix it such as installing a security measure or installing cameras. According to some people in the building this has been happening for years. Yet nothing. Very disappointing.
Hello, we apologize that your packages were stolen, unfortunately this is an issue all around town, even at properties with cameras. Our Stone mill office team has sent out emails regarding packages, and offering for anyone to send their packages to the Stone mill office and the team at the office will keep them locked up until picked up. Please feel free to do this in the future.

Negative experience: They will charge you insane prices at move out do not rent here. They are goldmark 2.0 manager even said snow removal was awful and had trashy yards IGNORE THERE RESPONSE THEY ONLY POST THAT TO MAKE PEOPLE ASSUME THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!

Negative experience: Prairy property Management is a bunch of crooks who dont care if you are in a domestic abuse situation until you dont want to rent from them again. No matter how much you clean and fix up your apartment. They will find any way to charge you an arm and a leg for simple things like light bulbs, to even finding reasons to charge you for thier shitty plumbing in their building. Not to mention most of the "amenities" they have are either gone now or they have them restricted by a pay wall. Disgusting. They dont care to even try and have any compassion for anybody, they just want your money and for you to pay anything that they know they can get a dime out of you from. This company is a scamming company. I will never rent from them again. If you are considering moving to moorhead I would look at a different rental company.

Negative experience: Do not rent - when we moved out we did not get to do a check out with management. So they charged us elderly couple for : $ 120.00 carpet cleaning $ 354.55 to replace blinds in both bedrooms $ 200.52 Painting walls 280.00 to clean $1,410 for rent $ 100 to get refrigerator breaker replaced $ 45.00 rent insurance After taking are 575.00 deposit we owe them 1,973.50 currently We had the place very clean before we moved the blinds were old but functional the walls were clean we just hung couple pictures Carpet was as clean as it could be we rented for 24 months Then we put are 60 day notice in to move out on the 30th could not get into next place until the 1st and moving truck at that time. We talked with management they said charge us for an extra day That didn’t happen they charged us for the full month plus an extra 100.00 on top of that. Even though they said they would not. The repairs take weeks for someone to look at. The hallways have garbage bags next to residents doors who don’t remove until they go outside The parking is terrible we always had cars parked in front of are garage in an area with a no parking sign. We couldn’t get cars in or out. These cars would be there for hours then days we called police multiple times it’s private property nothing they could do except make a report The hallways smell of cannabis smoke every day They have a revolving door in management and maintenance cannot keep them employed at this location for very long. Hard to get to talk with anyone and messages don’t get heard. Stay away from this Nightmare God Bless to all Unhappy Tenant

Negative experience: I rented a townhome from Prairie Property for six years. Numerous issues renting through Prairie. Had leaking in living room multiple times due to a crack in the foundation in a brand new unit. Water pooled up in carpet and soaked padding. Had multiple maintenance requests and fixed anything but the actual issue causing the problem many times. Major spider infestations probably due to foundation cracks as well. Had infestations of voles all winter out in yard. These critters basically burrow under the grass and end up killing the grass by spring. No attempt was made to clean up the dead grass mounds/nests as well as no lawn repair done to regrow dead spots. Snow removal was always slow and often took over a day or two to complete. Was charged to repair closet shelving unit that fell off wall as it was screwed into drywall, not a stud. Was nickeled and dimed at checkout for ridiculous repairs and cleaning that they fabricated. I left my unit cleaner that I received it and spent well over 40+ hours on deep cleaning. I was cleaning construction debris and sawdust even out of vents and such as a proper cleaning wasn’t done after the new build construction was finished.

Fantastic experience: We moved into a Prairie Property apartment a few months ago and we are very impressed with them. From the beginning Amanda our leasing agent gave us a very good first impression of Prairie Properties. Their maintenance dept (Erik) responds quickly and takes care of any issues you may have. Our property manager (Amy) is a pleasure to deal with and has been very good also. As long as Prairie doesn’t start rent gouging like many other property management companies in Fargo we will be staying with them.

Positive experience: Maintenance has been to my townhouse three times now and the issue persists. I left as message already.

Negative experience: My wife and I were tenants with Prairie Property for the last two years. Honestly for the majority of the time we had a great experience. Upon us moving and leaving our apartment my wife took the time to deep clean so the apartment was cleaner than when we moved in. Our property manger saying. “ Looks good! I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t get most if not all your deposit back.” Fast forward, not only did they keep the entirety of our deposit they sent us a bill for over $300 dollars. When I called for an explanation I was met with extremely rude and unprofessional bogus answers. Honestly would have given this place a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the complete and utter unprofessional way this situation was handled. Do not rent here if you ever expect a deposit back, because the will find a way to keep all of it and still try and squeeze you for more.

The Eagle Ridge Plaza Apartments have the best amenities I’ve ever seen in any apartment complex. Fitness center, golf simulator, game room and movie theater!! The management and maintenance team there were easy to work with. The Maplewood townhomes have a very peaceful and quiet community, along with a wonderful maintenance and management team! 5 stars for sure!

Fantastic experience: I moved to the Northern Lights August 15th of 2024. Makenzie and Kelcie has been a blessing with each experience meeting them daily. They have always addressed any concerns in a quick manner. I would also like to thank Arron and Jordon in Maintenance. Jordon fixed my Air Conditioning within a hour of a phone call last October and Jordon and Arron come fix my refrigerator that was making a buzzing noise. Fantastic experience: We moved to The Grand the middle of May. We sold our house and absolutely love it here. Our place is so spacious. The building is so clean and quiet. Love all the amenities. Fantastic experience: While they had missed a number of things when refurbishing the place for us to move in, maintenance has been very prompt to fix things and are very friendly. Also, they will work with you if you have challenges making it hard to rent, and that's becoming increasingly rare. In the couple of months we've been here we've been satisfied with them after years of evil Goldmark and at least as evil Meridian. Give PPM a look if you're looking for a new rental!

Negative experience: My wife and I we pregnant when we found the newly built Eagle Ridge Plaza . It was the first of the few complexes that my wife and I looked at to call home. We loved all the amenities, and location was definitely a plus for a starting family. Rent wasn't too steep we had and $850 deposited and application fee . As well as the rent being $1425 a month , which was far from high priced due to location as stated before. We only stayed a year as I am writing this we are on our last month. Thank goodness for that!! In the year we have spent in the property countless changes to our leases have been made with amended copies posted to our door for us to sign. During the 6 months my wife was pregnant for that we lived there, I can recalled the elevators not working more than fingers and toes I have. Which led her to having to walk up stairs with groceries . Parking at one point apparently became an issue as they decided to paints spots . The spot they gave her had a 4ft thermo unit hanging from the ceiling that her car could no fit under. As time went on things got more ridiculous . We originally were able to have BBQ grilles on our patio so long as they were gas only . Then proceeded to throw a bbw cook off that included charcoal and wood smokers on the property, that tenats werent allowed to attend !!!Only for a couple months to go by for them to amend the lease and say we must put in a request to have them. Tenants with pets could not have their pets on their balconies at any point. So far as to tell all tenants that the open fields in front or along side the property can't be used for pet potty duties. With that being said that leaves only the side walk , which makes no sense at all. If I knew what I know now , I would never have stepped in a lease with this property management group. With this complex nor the other string of complexes they own around fargo. We have felt imprisoned for 11 months now. If anyone complains about something , seeing a pet poop, gym weight lifting, you parking in the same spot they want, rolling grocery carts across mulch because of stairs, it becomes a rule!! You can't please everyone. I honestly think their new build , bit off more than can chew !!! I'll be happy to wash my hands of it in 30 days.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience with us didn’t meet your expectations. The elevator issue was frustrating for us as well—we did everything we could to get the repair company out quickly. Unfortunately, parts had to be ordered, which delayed the process. Thankfully, the building has two elevators, but we completely understand that taking the stairs was not ideal, and we sincerely apologize for that inconvenience.
Regarding parking, each apartment is assigned one designated spot, and unfortunately, this is something outside of our manager’s control. We understand this may not work for everyone, or be exactly where everyone would like and appreciate your understanding.
As for the grill policy, due to rising insurance premiums, we are no longer able to allow grills on balconies. This is becoming more common in apartment buildings across the city. To accommodate, we’ve created a community patio area with a grill for all residents to enjoy.

Negative experience: Prairie Property Management WILL overcharge you at one point or another. Life is relatively peaceful otherwise, depending on the neighbors you get. Once you move out, they will charge you for whatever they want. They took our $1,000 deposit and charged us a carpet replacement AFTER mandating that we get it professionally cleaned. They even charged us for a new garage door opener even though we mailed the spare back to them. The manager did not schedule a black light walk-through before the carpet cleaning. Not only that, but the locations of carpet shared with us had furniture on top of it and was inaccessible to pets. At no point during our tenure was there any urine in the downstairs carpet. This leads us to believe it was pre-existing from a previous tenant and sold to us as such. This is reinforced by the knowledge that the previous tenants were either friends or family of the manager's daughter, who was always visiting with her dog. No corporation has ever attempted to take this much money from us out of 10+ rental agencies. Spend your money elsewhere, it's overpriced and you will have to pay to leave.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a fantastic experience living at this apartment complex! The community is well-maintained, peaceful, and has all the amenities I need. What really stands out, though, is the outstanding customer service. Kelsi and Makenzie have both gone above and beyond to ensure residents feel welcomed and taken care of. They’re always friendly, responsive, and genuinely care about the well-being of the people who live here. I couldn’t ask for a better team or a better place to call home. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: I was not told when maintenance came into my apartment and changed out the toilet. After I got home from vacation I had to contact management to find out it had been replaced without me knowing it.
Negative experience: March 2024 I moved in PROVIDED THE INSURANCE DECLARATION PAGE, as required, listing Prairie Property Management as an "interested party" THEN JAN 2025, they start to add on new insurance AT MY EXPENSE!!!! OH HELL NO, I WOULD NEVER EVER RENT FROM PPM AGAIN! "we sent emails about it" so what!!? I have insurance that cover YOUR PROPERTY and my belongings INCLUDING LIABILITY. What a rotten unprofessional way to do business.
Negative experience: Not a great experience living here. Most of the people in the Moorhead office we interacted with didn’t care about customer service. Whenever we called, if they even answered, they just were not kind interactions. If we left a message it was hours before we heard back. We lost a set of keys mid way through our lease, and it took well over a month to get a replacement. Plus, the communication was awful. Unfortunately we were not surprised they found someway to hang on to a portion of our deposit. $150 for nail holes, what a joke. We had a maybe a handful of holes in our 1 bedroom apartment. They are much better companies that are client focused. Only pro was the gym was rarely busy and good location for our apartment.

Negative experience: We lived at Diamond Creek Townhome Complex for one year and had a very disappointing experience, especially during the move-out process. Despite thoroughly cleaning the unit ourselves and even hiring a professional carpet cleaning company, we were charged over $300 above our deposit for painting and cleaning. This was completely unreasonable as we left the unit in good condition, with only normal wear and tear. Additionally, the infrastructure of the units was subpar. We were required to buy and replace air filters ourselves, and they claimed to have replaced 17 light bulbs, which seemed absurd since we only noticed two that needed replacement and even purchased those ourselves. This is the first time in all our rental experiences that our deposit was withheld. It seems they expect every unit to be returned in brand-new condition, disregarding the state of the unit when we moved in and the natural wear and tear that occurs over time. Charging us for a full paint job after minor scratches sounds unreasonable. I would not recommend this property company to anyone looking for a fair and reasonable rental experience.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I have lived with Prairie Property Management for the past 5 years. We have also been the resident managers of our particular building for the past almost 3 years. Whenever I have a concern, the PPM team is always ready to tackle the challenge! We couldn’t recommend this rental company enough!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve lived in the maple ridge villas for about a year a love it. The ppm team is amazing and whenever I have an issue maintenance is so fast to fix it! I’m upgrading to bigger unit and Amanda has been absolutely amazing and so helpful! I love getting to rent from prairie!

Positive experience: Overall, we had a great experience living at ShadowCrest Townhomes until about 1 month before we were going to be moving. On the lease it stipulates you are to have a "Pre Move Out" Inspection performed 1 month before your official move out. I called the office to try to schedule this inspection and was told they would all be done on the same day. I waited for that day to come and nothing happened and no-one showed up. Then, the day we were moving and had out move out inspection planned, we waited for an hour for someone to show up before we called the office and they told us the Complex Manager was off that day. Thankfully another employee completed our inspection so we could get on the road. This would've easily been a 5 star review without the major issues that happened as we were moving out. The complex we were in was incredible and the staff we interacted with in the leasing office and maintenance were all very professional.
