MSI, LLC: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Dave Pettigrew is the best community manager We’ve had at Lakecrest Cape. Always pleasant to deal with and quick to help us. 5 star plus all the way !
Fantastic experience: Ray was very helpful and happy to help me with an architectural request with my HOA. Ray was very communicative and helpful with the process and application. Thanks again Ray!
Negative experience: If I could give negative ratings out I would give negative ratings. I've had a ticket open since November 3rd of last year and it still has not been touched and we are going on February 28th 2026. There was no call back for 3 months I have been reaching out to my contact Wendy McFarland her manager ayon who will not call me back and now I've gone up to another manager and every time we call in to speak to somebody they seem to be in meetings and don't want to talk to you on the phone. I can see why my last property drop this company from their services because they are absolutely terrible.
Negative experience: SheniaIvey is beyond unprofessional and incompetent. Her lack of ability to handle her job is mind blowing. She has discriminated against me and all her emails have been saved and will be forwarded to a lawyer for legal action. Any legal action the lawyer recommends will be taken. :)
Fantastic experience: I had to call with a question from my boss and Trina Rodriguez went above and beyond in helping me figure out what was going on and made me feel that my question mattered. I appreciated her patience and GREAT customer service!
Negative experience: Slow to communicate, and even slower to get anything done. I have been trying to get a refund for an overpayment of HOA dues going on three months.
Negative experience: Spoke to Kobain WALLACE WITH MSI. Very rude, I asked for address to send HOA fee in, he hung up on me. Sad to our association going to the dogs
Fantastic experience: MSI LLC (Windsor CO)is the property manager for Pelican Ridge HOA of which I am a board member. After the past year of interaction with Schyler Egan, Property Manager, and after my 5 years on the HOA board, I have never worked with such a competent, efficient and friendly manager. I am 80 years old, and this is my 3rd review. You can trust Mr. Egan.
Fantastic experience: Donna, with MSI, LLC has been amazing. I've had issues with different things regarding our H.O.A and she's been very attentive and professional every time I've interacted with her. Her job is not easy but all things considered she's a dedicated helpful manager.
Negative experience: This HOA has to be one of the most unresponsive, disorganized, and flat-out negligent associations I’ve ever had to deal with. Every single year there’s some new headache, and instead of improving their communication or acting like a professional organization, they somehow find a way to get worse. The latest mess is honestly unbelievable. They raised our quarterly dues without notifying anyone beforehand. No advance notice, no email, no letter, nothing. The only reason anyone even found out was because homeowners started asking questions when they saw the increased amount suddenly show up. Then, only after the increase had technically already gone into effect on January 1st, they scrambled to throw together a post in the app and send out a same-day email trying to explain it. That’s not notice. That’s not communication. That’s not even basic competence. It’s absolutely not what Colorado law requires. CCIOA clearly says notice has to be given in advance, and they just ignored that completely. And honestly, this fits exactly with how they operate. Good luck getting them to respond to an email. You can send request after request and hear absolutely nothing back. They’ve ignored multiple homeowner emails for years. Improvement requests sit unanswered. Questions never get acknowledged. They act like communication is optional. It’s ridiculous. It’s a pattern of behavior at this point, not an accident. What makes all of this worse is that they’ve even admitted in the past that they raised dues because they needed the extra money to cover their own legal fees since homeowners have been suing them. Just think about how insane that is. They mismanage the community so badly that people take legal action against them, and instead of fixing their problems, their response is to charge all of us more. And now they’re at it again, pulling another dues increase without following the proper process, without transparency, and without even pretending to respect the people who fund this entire operation. There is absolutely no accountability here. They ignore emails until it’s convenient for them. They send out notices after the fact instead of before. They follow their own rules when it benefits them and ignore them when it doesn’t. They offer zero transparency about budgets, decisions, voting, or communication timelines. Everything feels like it’s being handled behind closed doors, and homeowners are just expected to shut up and pay. It’s honestly embarrassing that a neighborhood as nice as this has an HOA that functions this poorly. The community deserves better. Homeowners deserve better. At the bare minimum we should get timely communication, legally required notice about dues increases, and answers to basic questions without being ignored for months. Instead we get surprise rate hikes, last-minute app posts meant to cover their tracks, excuses, and silence. If anyone is thinking about moving into the Villages at Buffalo Run: the area is great, but the HOA is absolutely not. It’s an ongoing problem with no signs of improvement. Until they figure out how to communicate, follow the law, and treat homeowners with respect, this is going to continue being one of the most frustrating parts of living here.
Fantastic experience: HOA accounting is so tedious as there are so many moving parts. Kobain handled a difficult situation with persistence and professionalism. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: Elizabeth Marlow does an excellent job. Whenever I email her with a question, she ALWAYS responds very quickly with the information I need. While I now live out of state, when I lived in Colorado I found her to be very personable as well as very professional in her work. I give her my highest rating. I needed to ask Elizabeth another question today and as always, she got back to me very PROMPTLY. I know I can always count on her to provide the information I need. If she does not have it readily available, she finds it for me. I really appreciate her work.
Negative experience: Horrible experience with anyone I’ve ever communicated with from this company. First Rachel Bozeman, who was just straight up rude and aggressive in anything she ever did, then Donna Carroll, who ignores emails for weeks at a time. We pay plenty of money each month, but I saw absolutely no value in anything they ever provided - from landscaping, work orders taking *years* to be completed, and support. Horrible in every way I could imagine. **edited to add: and see how they responded? “Thanks, We don’t manage your community anymore” REALLY shows how little these companies care about anything other than charging absurd amounts for nothing, and further drives home my review. Absolutely disgusting.
Fantastic experience: Kobain Wallace identified and corrected an Account error in the new HOA direct payment process to get it on back track and avoid late charges. A timely rescue.
Fantastic experience: I have always gotten fast response from Leona Singer. She is the one that will get things done or help you figure it out . I appreciate you Leona!
Negative experience: As a homeowner of a building managed by MSI, I have found both of the managers that they hired to oversee our property to be astonishingly rude, while the most recent is so difficult to contact that he might as well not be present. The first threatened a lien on my property, among other things, in what can only be described as a brutal threatening email, after failing to pay a $200 fine for my tenants, who placed some nice furniture and plants on the top balcony—something that went against the rules of the HOA. That was in addition to his failure to communicate multiple times with my tenants about the timing of work that forced them to take things out of storage and place them vulnerably in the parking lot. The second almost scared off the buyers of my place when he repeatedly failed to respond to their inquiries about the finances of the HOA and then got back to them with a series of one word replies to each of their queries. The pattern of passive aggression persisted after they purchased the property, with him sending an email telling me to get the contractors to return to the site of the property to clean up some “dust” that they left behind, which he could have literally swept up in 30 seconds. The first manager was effusive in his threats, the second was passive aggressively uncommunicative, a pattern that should have been concern to their manager. But when I contacted the apparent owner/manager of MSI, she defended this behavior to the hilt in repeated emails challenging my positions. My real estate agent said they had never seen anything of the sort. But if this is the way they treat the owners of properties, who have a voice in electing the board that hires them, one can only imagine how much worse they are with tenants. Save your community from the tension and hire another company.
Fantastic experience: MSI, specifically our community manager Gabriel Green, is so quick to respond whenever I have a question! He's very good at what he does, professional and friendly! I definitely recommend MSI to communities looking for professional management!
Fantastic experience: Our building is a older condo community in central Denver, CO. This creates a number of difficulties and challenges as the building ages and the City of Denver is complex in many regulations. However, MSI and specifically Cassie Dougles, have been amazing to help us out. She's been able to be clam in many of our building chanllenges and repairs, quick to respond, and imporantly, organized to keep all projects on track. The imporant thing MSI will bring is professionalism and organization - the two most imporant skills to any community management. Highly, highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Ray Ramelow is really good at his job. He knows and follows the rules and gets things done timely. Highly recommend him and MSI.
Negative experience: This will be the 4th review re-stating that Haley Bingham is rude and unprofessional. I will be pushing our HoA to rid ourselves of this joke of a company
Hello, thank you for review, are you able to provide some more details so we can look into this further? - Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Negative experience: My recent experience with Ms. Lauren Veraldi / MSI was extremely disappointing. I contacted them regarding a structural warranty matter and exchanged multiple emails to ensure they fully understood the situation. When I reached out to the community manager directly for guidance, I was met with abrupt, dismissive, and unprofessional responses. Rather than offering even minimal assistance or directing me to the appropriate resource, I was repeatedly told that the issue was “not her responsibility.” While I understand that not every matter falls under a management company’s scope, the complete lack of willingness to provide basic guidance was unacceptable. A simple, courteous redirection would have gone a long way. Instead, I encountered an attitude that communicated inconvenience rather than service. For a company tasked with representing an HOA and serving as the primary point of contact for homeowners, this level of indifference is concerning. MSI may not be responsible for every homeowner issue, but professionalism, respect, and at least a baseline effort to assist should be non-negotiable. Unfortunately, none of those were present in my interaction.< 1-star for MSI.
Fantastic experience: I’m not good AT ALL and Clyssie Rutzebeck has been so kind and patient with me!
Fantastic experience: Desiree Wingo, our HOA manager, was able to get our ARC request approved in a timely manner as weather was a primary concern on our project. Desiree has always been professional and helpful concerning issues and requests.
Fantastic experience: Zach is excellent at responding to all of our HOA problems !!! Thankyou Zach for a great job !
Fantastic experience: Vanessa Ray has particularly been helpful in assisting me with questions and resolving issues as I’ve settled into my new home. Thank you!
Your feedback means a lot to our team! Thank You! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Fantastic experience: I have had a couple of great experiences with Melanie in your Accounts Receivable Department. She has been extremely professional and client focused in solving our HOA payment issues. Thank you so much Melanie!
Negative experience: On August 21, I mailed a $1,700 check for a special assessment, they should have deposited it before September 1 but they didn't. I had to pay the same amount online on September 1 to avoid a late fee. I immediately notified MSI on Sep 4, not to deposit the mailed check, but they did so on September 16, creating a duplicate payment. I requested for a refund check and Haley in AR said it was issued on October 14, 2025, but I have never received it. Despite multiple follow-ups, she refuses to reissue or trace the check, claiming “company policy” requires waiting until November 14. When I asked again, she told me, “Please feel free (to file with BBB or whatever), I am following company policy.” MSI has now been holding my $1,700 for nearly two months, with no refund and no proof the check was ever mailed.
Fantastic experience: Judi England always quickly responds to our neighborhood concerns or needs. So grateful for our HOA and Judi.
We truly appreciate your feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Negative experience: I get one star service at best . This is the worst property manager we've had in the 7 years I've lived here
Negative experience: I was literally yelled at and hung up on for politely asking to speak with someone else that wasn’t in a bad mood… Update: It was a lady in general accounting , wish I could remember her name.
Fantastic experience: Karissa was friendly and very helpful in getting me some information. I requested the information and Karissa sent it out within a couple of hours. Great job!
Fantastic experience: Chaira Vargas manages the Hampstead HOA account. I have interacted with her multiple times on HOA matters and frequently request Keesen for drip line repairs. She is amazing! Her response is always fast and thorough. Nothing but 5 Star praise from me. Dennis
Fantastic experience: Our property manager, Tee Bryant, was very responsive to my request for cleaning up an exterior column and resolved my issue. She replied to my email the next day stating she would speak to maintenance. Three days later the exterior was scraped clean, repainted, and looked like new.
Fantastic experience: I would like to advise that Jess Broemeling gave me excellent service. Its not always easy dealing with HOA's in general but he was very attentive and made the process as smooth as possible.
Negative experience: They are new to my community and so far I am not impressed. Robyn seems to think she is the customer. I cannot setup my auto payment or view my account— now 7 days after they stated it would be available, and I will need to wait 2 business days to get a resolution.
Fantastic experience: Very please with our manager, Katie Young! She's been so responsive and helpful at our HOA community. She's polite, professional and always eager to help! I'd give her more stars if I could! Highly recommend MSI! That entire team at MSI are the best in the industry! Special shout outs to Trina and Sze for their guidance and support! You guys ROCK!
Fantastic experience: Our community utilizes MSI for our HOA’s property management. Our community manager is Zach Brown, who does an amazing job. He is not only responsive and communicative, but he's also very proactive with helping to maintain our community. We’ve been very happy with his work and would recommend MSI based on Zach's job performance.
Fantastic experience: Maureen Dillsaver is our community manager and we have dealt with her on several requests from planting to construction requests. She is always quick to respond to emails and very friendly to deal with. We appreciate her help.
Fantastic experience: I submitted an ARC request for new window replacement on 9/22. Tee Bryant at MSI quickly submitted it for ARC review to the board on 9/23/2025! This quick response is greatly appreciated and hopefully I will be able to get new windows before it gets too cold!
Fantastic experience: Miss Odella Anderson has been very helpful. I know she is a very busy lady, but anytime I leave her a voicemail or send her an email, she always gets back to me within 24 hours. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication she puts into supporting our community.
Fantastic experience: Odella, Anderson was very helpful in guiding me through the architectural review process. She spent a lot of time helping me and was very patient and friendly
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! - Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Fantastic experience: Bree Hennessy, Accounts Receivable Technician with MSI, LLC (Reunion Metro District - Management) is outstanding! Bree was friendly, responsive, respectful… an all-around top-notch professional in helping me resolve homeowner accounting issues I experienced recently!
Thank you for the feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management.
Fantastic experience: Dave Pettigrew responds promptly to emails and calls. Additionally, he gets answers and requests performed in a timely manner. Thanks, Dave Mary Haldy
Fantastic experience: Our community utilizes MSI for our HOA’s property management. Our community manager is Dawn Cochrane, who does an amazing job. She is not only responsive and communicative, but she’s also very proactive with helping to maintain our community. We’ve been very happy with her work and would recommend MSI based on Dawn’s job performance.
Fantastic experience: I’m a contractor doing some work for an area where their HOA regulates and although the process to get paint and roof colors approved is a bit of a pain; when I went in and spoke with about the troubles I’m having, Brittany was a great help made sure to get me sorted out as best as she could with the power and knowledge she has! Thank you Brittany!
Fantastic experience: This review is based on my single experience today, working with Kris in Accounts Receivable @ MSI. She was immediately helpful, prompt in answering my questions and assisting me with account changes. I so rarely interact with people who care about customer service, so when I find one, I will give them a 5-star! :)
Negative experience: MSI is by far the worst HOA management company I’ve dealt with. They blatantly ignore Colorado law (C.R.S. § 38-33.3-317) by refusing to provide homeowners access to records we are legally entitled to. Their representative, Donna LaWall, claims the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is “independent” yet also admits she runs it herself while acting as MSI’s manager. The hypocrisy would be laughable if it weren’t so frustrating. When asked for clarity or to speak with their legal counsel, MSI dodges every request, hiding behind robotic, AI-generated emails from Donna that are full of contradictions and deflections. Homeowners deserve real answers, not canned nonsense. On top of their legal and ethical failures, MSI refuses to enforce the HOA’s own covenants, letting the community decline into a tacky, neglected mess while stonewalling anyone who cares enough to speak up. If you value transparency, professionalism, and respect for the law, avoid MSI at all costs.
Fantastic experience: Cassie Douglas has been a breath of fresh air for our HOA community. AS the President this was a much needed manager for our community.
Fantastic experience: Jess Broemeling with MSI Accounts Receivable Department was extremely helpful & was able to answer all my questions and give me all the info I needed via e-mail right away... She represented MSI perfectly and made me feel like she cared. I can get everything taken care of and I feel relieved.
Thank you so much for the feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Negative experience: Haley Bingham is unhelpful and does everything she can to charge lates fees, even when the late payment is due to their company’s system. No wonder HOAs have developed such a bad reputation.
Negative experience: The guy in accounts, Nico Armenta is the rudest person I have ever talked to. He hangs up on you and acts as if he is doing you a favor.
Negative experience: Odella has the absolute worse response time, a car had been blocking half the alleyway for the entire day and continued for another two days. She took over two weeks to look into it and of course the car was gone by then (didnt matter that i provided evidence of the violation i guess). But she wont bother to check if the bin left in the alley is actually the bin of the person she's sending the fine to. Glad to have moved out of this neighborhood bc she seems to be very selective with who she actually fines when they violate (or dont violate) the HOA rules
Fantastic experience: Tee Bryant is our HOA manager and has been very helpful since moving into our new home.
Fantastic experience: We work with Zach Bowen for our property manager, he is very responsive and anwers all our questions with accuracy and timelyness. We could not ask for a better property manager for our HOA.
Fantastic experience: As a proud resident of our community for 6 years, and an active member of our HOA Board, I have had many opportunities to interface with MSI, and our Community Manager, Allen Bartz. Allen has always been responsive to our community requests and concerns and has been an invaluable asset to our Board. His knowledge of industry trends and regulations is second to none, and his fiduciary responsibility has helped our community manage its finances in the most prudent and meticulous manner.
Thank you for the feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Negative experience: I had a deeply frustrating experience with Kris Vass, the accounts receivable technician at MSI. After the HOA migrated to a new payment system, they inexplicably reverted to an outdated bank account I hadn’t used since 2023—without my authorization. This internal error caused a returned payment, for which I was wrongly charged a $20 fee. I provided clear documentation showing that the error was entirely on their end. Despite this, Kris refused to reverse the charge with a one-line response: “Unfortunately, I can not remove the fee.” There was no investigation, no accountability, and no attempt to resolve the issue fairly—even after I pointed out the flaw in their system. This kind of behavior shows a lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and questionable ethics. If you’re a homeowner or board member evaluating HOA management companies, I urge you to avoid Kris Vass and MSI. Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them is what matters. Kris’s response was dismissive and emblematic of a company culture that pushes their errors onto homeowners. HOA managers should act with integrity and transparency—Kris failed on both fronts.
Thank you for your feedback, we will be discussing this review with their supervisor. -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Fantastic experience: We recently were working with a client who resides in a property managed by MSI. When an issue arose the Community Manager, Mark Becker, was very prompt in his communication and directed the client and our company how to quickly resolve the issue.
Fantastic experience: Hope Starchild is the best community manager yet for the Villages at Uptown. She is very accessible, prompt and friendly compared to some of the other property management companies I have worked with.
Thank you so much for the feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Fantastic experience: Our landscaping was damaged by a snowplow, and we needed immediate repairs because we had just listed our condo. Our community manager, Tee Bryant, was highly responsive and ensured the request was processed quickly, even during snow season. Thank you, Tee!
Thank you very much for this feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Fantastic experience: Gabriel was helpful with getting the electrical work on my unit approved by the Board, and has promptly taken care of a few other issues that needed attention.
Fantastic experience: As a real estate agent, I have had a variety of experiences with HOA management companies. My recent experience with the community manager at my HOA has been stellar. Litha Spies has been very communicative and made certain that I had immediate access to my covenants and formed required to get a new roof approved through the architectural review process. Very much appreciate the professionalism demonstrated.
Fantastic experience: Liz Marlow (Morningside Village HOA) is an amazing property manager. Very proficient, professional and responsive. She is very much appreciated by all.
Fantastic experience: A shout out to Jonathan Martinez, our new community manager at Erie Village HOA. Our HOA committee recently required some information, which he was able to supply quickly. I found him to be responsive, helpful, and also very friendly. (Our previous manager at MSI, Jennifer Couture, was also great!) Thank you, MSI!
Thank you very much for the feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Negative experience: I have not had a good experience with MSI over the last 3 years. They do not do a very good job of communicating in a timely manner, and come off as disorganized. Feels like they fine you for anything and everything.
Fantastic experience: I have been working with April Ballinger at MSIHOA for a painting project and she has been so helpful, cooperative, and professional. It was quite daunting with paperwork and internet uploads, but she stepped up and allowed the project manager to be joined in to our emails and has gone above and beyond to help push the project forward.
Thank you for the feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Negative experience: I've been living in a community managed by MSI for about a year without ever having a major issue. However, a plumbing issue popped up this past week when temperatures were in *negatives* and it has been a nightmare trying to reach the community manager, Camille Harris. Calls, emails, multiple voicemails over the course of 3 business days, and we didn't hear a single peep. It put us in an impossible situation with the plumbers since shutting off at the water meter would affect several other residents. I want to reiterate, this is happening while temperatures were in the *NEGATIVES*. In the end I had to contact the City of Westminster, arrange an emergency shutoff, and notify all the residents myself, which raises the question: What does Camille actually do?
Hello, thank you for review, are you able to provide the name of the association you are in so we can look into this with their director? - Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Fantastic experience: Working with Heather Star is great !! She is friendly, knowledgeable and takes the time to help and understand the clients needs. I’m looking forward to working with her on all our HOA needs. Thank you !!
Negative experience: Their online system is terrible. The community managers don’t comply with governing documents. They let emails go unanswered. They start charging nonsense “$1.99 convenience fees” on payments with no notification they are doing so. They don’t communicate effectively at all with the master association.
Fantastic experience: We are going to get our house painted next month and I needed to know if I needed HOA approval to give the painter permission before they ordered the paint. Curtis Hain is our director in the Reunion community. He provided a prompt response and assured me there was no need if we were using the same color. I had not met him but he is a really easy and cordial man to talk to. Sometimes it seems like we who live in Reunion are quick to complain so I just wanted the world to know Curtis did an excellent job.
Fantastic experience: I am the president of my HOA We have been extremely pleased with MSI's service. And in particular, Dawn Cochrane, who is our manager. She and MSI in general are very responsive to our needs. They know how to kindly manage our board when we need those gentle reminders to put the budget together or send out a notice. They are also very helpful when we need to remember the details and rules of our covenants. We have a very active HOA and we utilize MSI services on a regular basis. I would recommend them to any HOA in the area.
Thank you so much for the feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Negative experience: I’ve lived in my community problem free for 6 years, until I started getting harassed by false community violations in the mail. I immediately responded to resolve the non existent problem with Mark Becker, our community manager. I received one word answers and no solutions and large gaps in communication. I’ve spoken to others in my community and know that I am not alone in this situation. He continues to send me violation letters with no explanation and is now implementing fines into my account without specifying a problem or solution.
Thank you for the review, I will be looking into this with the supervisor. -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management
Negative experience: My bank account was hacked and I received a notice from MSI, called and spoke with Haley who was so rude and unprofessional telling me that this was a "Personal Problem" and then called her supervisor never to hear anything... Most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with.
Fantastic experience: Our HOA in Colorado Springs has recently contracted with MSI HOA Management. Their whole team seems to work very well together for the benefit of our community. Our Community Association Manager, Katie Young, has been very available, receptive and patient, helping us through the maize of change.
Negative experience: ⚠️⛔️I regret having been forced to work with this company. From Mis-managing a $26,000 assessment. To completely lacking all capability to follow a project through. Services payed for and promised covered by the HOA are not done or not done correctly. They told me they’ll have a year go by with nobody from this company is stepping foot on a property. Disgraceful. Do not use this company. If you are a realtor or a property, use someone else these guys have too many customers and can’t take care of what they have. They don’t respond to communication. Danger warning do not use.
Fantastic experience: Clancy Wells is the best Property Manager/HOA manager that I've ever worked with...prompt and decisive. Much appreciate the work ou did Clancy, Thank you
Fantastic experience: Nikki Gentilli, Accounts Receivable Technician did a splendid job getting a payment arrangement for me recently. I appreciate her knowledge and willingness to work with me. I have enough on my plate personally without having outside static, Nikki appeared to understand point and relieved me of some of the stress. I appreciate her.
Fantastic experience: Curtis Hain has by far changed my opinion on what an hoa should feel like. He was very welcoming when I reached out to him during my move.
Fantastic experience: Melanie Shaffer was very helpful to me as I was setting up a payment system for my HOA fees. She not only emailed the information to me, but also called me to be sure that I had received it and that I knew how to do it. I appreciated her personal touch in this matter. Having just moved into the development, I have been a bit overwhelmed with all of the details to take care of. Thanks so much for your extra help, Melanie!
Fantastic experience: Tasia Halterman gets 5 stars easily. I sent her some questions on Sunday about new rules governing payment of HOA fees, and her responses were direct, literate, complete -- and arrived in my mailbox before 8 AM the following day. That's service.
Negative experience: Very bad experiences dealing with MSI. They have such a high turnover rate at my townhomes that they manage. The current guy, Mark Becker, feels like a chatbot when you email him; very short brief few word responses to important questions. He also has no common sense or common courtesy in dealing with situations.
Negative experience: Very disappointed!! I had the worst customer service experience yesterday talking to Allen Bartz. He was very rude and super unprofessional. I submitted a paint request since JULY and I still hadn't gotten a clear response. I decided to call yesterday and he told me what I need to do, but his tone of voice and the way he would answer was so unprofessional. As I was trying to explain something to him, he told me "I dont know why you are still talking about this, I already told you what you need to do". There is defiantly other ways of saying things and the way he talked to me was unacceptable. Would we had talked to my husband like that? Would he had talked to my neighbor who isn't Latinx like that? Probably not. The color we are requesting to paint our house is the same color as a lot of houses in our neighborhood. Why was theirs approved and not ours?
Fantastic experience: Lauren Veraldi of MSI was responsive, factual and forthcoming about a very inconvenient HOA situation - a Denver Water no-notice water shut off (domestic, landscape and fire fighting water!). The fix took longer than it should but that was a Denver Water attitude issue. Well done, Lauren.
Fantastic experience: Nikki Gentilli was a big help in my efforts to sign up for my HOA bill pay.I finally got it right with her help. She was very courteous and available to talk on the phone, which is hard to find nowadays. Thanks Nikki.
Negative experience: They claim I have a balance on my HOA account and I was trying to inquire as to why I wasn’t given a courtesy notification before the account went delinquent. This lady gets upset and starts telling me she’s not a collection agency and that’s it’s the homeowner’s responsibility to know so she doesn’t care. I try to explain that I’m military, I travel a lot and were all humans and forget things sometimes; all I was asking for was a courtesy notification. Before I can finish, this lady just hangs up the phone. Sandi lomeli needs to be fired immediately from this company. I’m telling everyone I know to put in a petition. She’s the most unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered. A stain on the brand of this company but looking at the rating you have currently, it tracks as to why she’s employed there.
Negative experience: Kristina Polson, as well as the previous representative at MSI, provide poor service repeatedly. The replies to issues/inquiries are dismissive and open-ended. There is no communication of how or if an issue will be resolved, the quarterly HOA meetings are poorly run and the meeting minutes take 6 months to be published to the Owners. Having been part of several HOA boards, I would not recommend Kristina or MSI, LLC.
Negative experience: At first when using this company we got friendly and efficient managers who always returned emails or calls and were excellent with follow through. For the past two years the manager was hostile and unpleasant and most of the time didn’t respond to emails. Not recommended.
Fantastic experience: I have many properties and dealing with many HOA management companies. So far MSI has been the best I have dealt with over the last 15+ years. They are professional, very communicative, fast in responding to email or phone calls, courteous and helpful. My interaction with Hope Starchild has been excellent.
Negative experience: Very disappointed with the community manager, Kristen Rossite. We rented the clubhouse at our community a month before our event based on their calendar of openings. Day of our event-catering and guests confirmed (after confirmation from Angelina in reservations the day before our event) no one showed to let us in. All Kristin could say to the emergency contact was she sent us an email Tuesday and we were out of luck. No communication with her team that we were communicating with or even giving us a phone call! I emailed her our communication, called and left a message day of and no reply. Obviously not caring what a mess she created for us. They had sidewalk repair that weekend. I do not understand how that wouldn’t have been known when we booked. Those services do not happen quickly as I schedule similar services for my work. Lack of communication, organization and care. I rarely leave a negative review but the lack of follow through is sickening. Maybe coaching on customer service and communication!
Fantastic experience: The other day, I encountered a leak in a pipe that required shutting off the main waterline from outside. Unsure of what to do and feeling a bit overwhelmed, I reached out to the HOA for assistance. Angie Irving, our MSI Community Manager, responded promptly and arranged for someone to come out right away to address the issue. I truly appreciate the quick response and support. Thank you again, Angie, for your help!
Thank you for the feedback! -Deneen Gaines, Vice President of Community Management.
Fantastic experience: I am a Realtor and have had dealings with many Property Managers. Clancy Wells and Ray Ramelow with MSI are two of the best Managers I have ever dealt with. They answer the phones, they respond to needs and are timely with requests. THANK YOU MSI, LLC for these two gentlemen! It has been a pleasure. Joyce Sedam - Homesmart Realty
Negative experience: Submitted a request to replace the windows in our house. I followed up a week later and was told the HOA has 30 days to review and would be notified. Found out at 28 days after submital the request was denied on day 2. I should have been told at the week one follow-up the request was denied. The only way I found out was by my own follow-up at the 28 day mark. Extremely disappointed in the HOA response and now makes for a frustrating situation with getting this project completed before winter.
Positive experience: Rachael Bozeman has been helpful in getting my gutter adjusted after the reconstruction of my deck. Jordan was great. I am however disappointed in the way my deck was finished, totally a mess with rotted posts just covered up and old paint not scraped off before repainting. At least it’s done.
Fantastic experience: Hope Starchild. our MSI Property Manager, works hard for our community. She has handled my questions and requests expeditiously. She is proactive as well. Hope took the time to meet me personally to better understand some of my concerns in a new neighborhood. We really appreciate her being our Property Manager. Thank you Hope.
Negative experience: Non-Compliance!!! Check your records before calling me out, you are in NON COMPLIANCE! Non-professional, check the BBB reviews. SENT required documents last year to an representative that's apparently not there anymore (must not be a great place to work) and anyone can't find them! I am COMPLIANT! FORWARDED said documents to so called NEW representative and waiting for a courteous reply. Check yourself before you wreck yourself! Thanks for wasting my time and HOA dollars. 9/6/2024 You should be more courteous to people paying your salary.
Fantastic experience: Don Devereaux's response to our problem and the repair were prompt and without question. He took care of everything while we were on vacation. How nice to come back to a prepared roof gutter. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: I want to highly commend Kelly Chavez, the MSI HOA Community Manager for the Heights at Templeton. She is open minded and willing to listen. Her desire to have an open dialog helps her provide outstanding service to the community. My thanks and congratulations to her.
Fantastic experience: We've had the pleasure of completing a number of projects with Rachel Bozeman with MSI. Having worked with dozens of property managers, I can say that Rachel is exceptional. It is clear that she cares deeply about the communities she manages and I would highly recommend her as a Property Manager.
Fantastic experience: We moved into a new build community and our community manager Litha Spies has been BEYOND amazing. I’ve had a few questions / concerns and she’s always there for answers and support. She is responsive and you can tell she truly cares about her communities. We hit the jackpot working with Litha!!
Negative experience: I resign today from the MVV HOA Board. I rate Rachael Burke, our community manager from MSI who seems to struggle to help us with the myriad of problems this property has had. I feel as though we are constantly running to catch up while Rachael does only what she can measure and be paid for. It is clear that she doesn’t actually care about this community. Today I attempted to join a 10 am meeting and was never let in. This is too hard.
Fantastic experience: We can all be thankful for our Community Manager, Curtis Hain. Every interaction I have had with Curtis has been met with professionalism as well as friendly, always responsive and helpful. Thanks Curtis
