- Easy Application Process: Users consistently praised the application process for being efficient and straightforward.

Oklahoma Red Door Management: Reviews
Negative experience: I honestly don’t even know where to begin I guess it’s true that doing a COMPLETE 2nd or 3rd walk through when leasing or buying is necessary ESPECIALLY with this agency because they suck, they’re inconsiderate and inconsistent with the needs of people living on their property. If things are going horribly wrong within or on your property why WOULD YOU MAKE THE TENANTS SUFFER!!!! In this horrible economy it’s people like this agency that will make people lose their sanity. DO NOT EVER FOLLOW UP WITH PROPERTY FROM THIS AGENCY RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND KEEP YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN YOUR POCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!! SLUM LORDS STILL EXIST
Fantastic experience: Everyone I spoke with were super kind and very thorough. I would highly recommend!
Negative experience: I would not recommend this company. Since moving into the property earlier this week, I have experienced serious plumbing issues that have made the home nearly unlivable. I cannot run water to wash dishes, take a bath, or use basic plumbing without it causing sewage to back up into the bathtub or toilet and flood the area. Despite submitting maintenance requests and calling multiple times, the response has been extremely frustrating. Each time I call, I am transferred between several people, and the final person I speak with is often rude and argumentative. No one has been able to provide clear information about when the issue will actually be fixed or when maintenance will come out. Instead of resolving the problem, they repeatedly reference the lease agreement and claim that repairs depend on the homeowner approving the cost. Meanwhile, I am left living in a home without functioning water services. After paying nearly 2K to move in, it is unacceptable to be dealing with these issues without any clear timeline for repairs or meaningful assistance. Tenants deserve basic utilities and respectful communication when serious problems arise. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with this company. Also the maintenance person who is in charge is RUDE AS CAN BE FOR NO REASON.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff who check on us regularly while we were getting all needed information for the application process!
Fantastic experience: You guys are wonderful red door has opened my life to a home and thank you without you guys I would not have a place I was a victim and now I am a survivor and I can heal now in my new place thank you guys so much for giving me this opportunity and chance
Negative experience: Drove 2 hours to view this property just for the code to not work and we were not able to get into contact with anyone. I do not recommend doing business with this company unless you like wasting your time.
Negative experience: The MOST unprofessional and unorganized property manager. STAY AWAY! I'm currently fighting for my security deposit and they are breaching the 45 day time frame. ZERO response via email or phone. The house was given to us with doors that did not lock, they didn't fix for months. A dryer that didn't work, again months. The property we rented was for our college age child. This property management is predatory. You are guaranteed to not have communication or maintenance orders filled. As a property owner, your home will definitely be neglected.
Negative experience: Very poor communication in between Agents and people looking to lease a home.
Fantastic experience: I love the place we are a loving family trying to better our lives and the last that helped us in the red door application department was a big help we hope to get in
Fantastic experience: Red Door management went above and beyond to get me approved and in a home before the new year. I’m a new tenant but so far they have more than impressed me. *** One Month Update **** After a month in - I’ve only had one issue, my hot water tank went out right when that ice storm hit. I called in to report the issue around noon right before lunch and they had someone at my place checking it out within two hours. By the time I got off work and got home at 5:30 pm it had already been replaced with a new unit. Staff is super friendly, technician was knowledgeable and professional. Based on my short time with the company, would recommend.
Fantastic experience: This was the easiest process I’ve ever been through! From viewing the properly to the application and making payment! The mine of communication was perfect and they always answered my questions in a decent amount of time! They were great and respectful! No complaints.
Fantastic experience: Very professional, responds in a timely manner & works with you. 10/10 recommend!
Fantastic experience: Sam has been a pleasure to work with and has been available for my needs. She has made things a lot easier and also has been very helpful. Thank you for the great customer support.
Fantastic experience: Very Friendly and professional leasing staff!
Negative experience: I have one eviction from the placed I lived 12 years at. I spoke with a lady over the phone. Did all the paperwork after talking to someone in the office. However was told today I was denied
Fantastic experience: Helping me currently find a home for me and my kids after divorce. So far nothing but good things to say
Negative experience: I do not recommend renting from Red Door Management. Tenants are treated as numbers rather than valued residents, and maintenance issues are not addressed properly. At 1002 W. Hill Street, a ceiling leak was reported multiple times and remained unresolved for months. During that time, mold developed in the ceiling. Eventually, the damage worsened to the point that part of the roof collapsed. Instead of repairing the underlying issue, the area was simply re-plastered without fixing the source of the leak. A bandaid at best. This property presents serious health and safety concerns. Prospective renters should exercise caution, even if the rent appears affordable. We were charged $1,350 per month, yet the current listing price has since dropped to $1,000, which suggests the original rate did not reflect the condition of the property. I strongly encourage anyone considering Red Door Management to read tenant reviews carefully before signing a lease. They will be super responsive while trying to get you to move in then go radio silent once you do.
Fantastic experience: The application process through Oklahoma red door was a breeze!! They’re SO helpful on the phone, and if they can’t answer, they’ll text you and help! Easiest application and approval process I’ve experienced!
Negative experience: Beware all new vendors or any person who want to star work with these company you well get screwed they just pay you what they want after the job is.complete special if you working under Pam areas so becarfull we are not the only one have a bad experience with them still 2 invoives own from.more then 4 weeks
Fantastic experience: Great service. Very quick and prompt. Everyone has been so nice. Thank you! Andrea G.
Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I so would , these people are awful they don’t know how to return calls they try to take your money when it’s their fault , just run , tried to move out because lease was over and called 4 times and nobody got back to me and then when I go in there it’s oh you didt give us a notice even though I called 4 times trying to get to my leasing manager. Also we had a 14ft pipe bust in our house due to prior management neglect and they kept my wife and I with our 2 yr old some in the home. We had to beg and plead for them to get us out of the house for 2 days while they worked. It’s just so crazy how people can treat others. Just save your time money breath everything with these people. Changing management but still can’t control anything.
Fantastic experience: I'm an owner of multiple rental properties which have for the last 10 years have been managed by Red Door Mgt Company. I like to keep all properties in good condition and repair. Pam, the Maint. Supervisor makes all that possible. She lets me know when maint, repairs, or replacements are needed and then promptly schedules each after properly communicating with the tenants. I've had many positive experiences interacting with Red Door but my interactions with Pam by far have been my most positive experiences.
Negative experience: DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH REDDOOR MGT. They are crooks and take people on a fixed income money. The date we were supposed to move in to a home on the south side I and my children were involved in a collision and I had a family emergency regarding my Father, that was imperative and life threatening. I asked if they could hold the home or put us in another property they ignored us took our $850.00 deposit and turned us into collections to want another $850 plus whatever $194.00 is. Last I checked that is called scamming and stealing. My attorney is now assisting me with taking me to court for they will not charge us over $1,925.00 for a home we never moved or step foot in. Please let this be a lesson. I am also reporting them to the BBB ..
Negative experience: Put an application in while working in a different state so I could move and the lady on the other end took my application and the fee for it then stated I couldn’t rent there because I didn’t have income when in fact I did have income. They wanted me to work first before renting in Oklahoma but that’s silly to be because I feel like having a stable home first then looking for a job should come first
Fantastic experience: This is a real and honest review. We rented a home in Norman from Red Door Management between 2021-2025 and did not have any problems with them. We were apprehensive at first because of the bad reviews on here, but they left us alone as long as we paid our rent on time. The maintenance tickets that were submitted did not take long to respond to and repairs were done within a reasonable time frame. The only complaint I have is that they are really hard to get a hold of if you call the office. We got our deposit back, thank you Red Door! We left the house very clean with no damages and they honored our deposit in return. We were happy overall with our experience renting from Red Door!
Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY RUN. Don’t fall for this trap. This company is a joke and its management constantly changes and so does your point of contact, that is of course assuming they choose to answer the phones. Oh and if you do get them to fix something they will undoubtedly do it wrong.
Negative experience: Ridiculous communication and application process! Absolutely nothing good to report. Zillow should not allow this company on their website.
Negative experience: After a very frustrating process to get the code for the door to actually view the property, the home was absolutely disgusting!! Trash everywhere, roach traps, it stunk, and the sub flooring was terrible through the entire house. It definitely wasn’t ready to be viewed and has a long way to go before it would be livable.
Negative experience: Refrigerator went out a month ago and still have not received a new one. As a furloughed federal employee not getting paid at this time, the amount of hardship this is causing from having to eat out due to no where to store food is ridiculous. I follow up with the property management at least 3 times per week and still no progress. If you can't replace a refrigerator in a timely manner as a landlord, then you shouldn't be a landlord. Now that it's getting cold, my heat isn't working. You dread things going wrong because you don't know how long it will take to get fixed. It's a constant hassle to contact them. As a tenant that pays every month on time, it's unfair to be handled in such way.
Fantastic experience: They have been very helpful and fast at getting everything done thank you
Positive experience: This experience with Oklahoma Red Door Management because so far they have been nice to me and My man and their apartments are very nice inside
Negative experience: Most unprofessional company I've ever seen. Never returned my phone calls and, at one point when I did get a hold of someone in the office - they laughed at me and hung up on me. So glad to be out of the apartment I was renting from through them.
Fantastic experience: We just got a house through red door. Very easy and simple process. They were so kind and helpful with all of my questions as well.
Negative experience: AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. DONT BELIEVE ANY GOOD REVIEW!! They are the most dishonest people you will ever meet! Nicole just notified me from now on all of their leases it will require renters to be responsible for their own trees no matter how big they are. You’ll just have to pay somebody to come and cut them. This is highly irregular and changed solely because the housing agency told them they weren’t in compliance and couldn’t pass inspection. They billed me prior to this when the city fined them for trees after i put in a service request that they had for a year and never took care of and the housing agency told them they were. I’m out 1000+ dollars and they did not refund it when i gave them the documents they asked me to get for them so they could refund it. They will move the goal post. waste your time and rob you blind. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.
Negative experience: This company is terrible houses are terrible and everything about them is terrible my house was rat infested and even the neighbors told me that and the house would always just leak water 24/7 the back of my house was also sinking because of the mold and soft foundation the mouses were just destroying that house and even the maintenance people would just say the house is terrible
Fantastic experience: They respond quick an has made this process easy so far.
Positive experience: Not sure which Rep I am speaking with, but they aren’t professional AT ALL.
Fantastic experience: Great company to work with! They're very understanding and efficient and finding a home.
Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed working with Kashala Smith and Oklahoma Red Door Management. I have noticed that out of all the houses I have viewed with this specific property management they are well maintained which makes it nice for viewers. They are also very professional and patient which helped me make my decision to move forward.
Negative experience: Will make you drive all the way to property just for code to not work and no one to answer the phone. Don’t waste your time.
Fantastic experience: It's been a very smooth process. Oklahoma Red Door makes the renting process as smooth as possible and are very friendly.
Fantastic experience: I have been living in a home for the past 2 years about to renew my lease for year 3 that Oklahoma Red Door manages. My property manager Kashala is responsive and super helpful. She has been since day 1. I absolutely recommend Oklahoma Red Door to anyone needing rent a home. I have needed a couple repairs needed in the home since moving in they all have been addressed in a timely manner. Thank you Kashala for all you do!!
Negative experience: Tried to get a rental through this company, and Mariah ended up blocking my phone number so I couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Super unprofessional place.
Jared, we regret that you had a negative experience while processing your application. Our company standards do require proof of income to ensure chosen prospects can meet rental obligations for the benefits of our property owners. These processes are not negotiable and therefore your application was closed and fee refunded.
Best of luck in your housing search.
Negative experience: Never will I ever rent from these people again, both Jackie and Jessica were very rude, and deceptive with zero customer service skills. Based on my experience with them, I believe they pick and choose which tenants to pick their phone calls or not to. I felt like I was being discriminated based on my accent, color, race, or looks. I would have gave them zero stars, if I could.
Negative experience: My elderly mom lives at one of their properties and she had several issues that take forever to get resolved. Like AC going out pipes backed up she had sewage on her floors for over 2weeks! This is gross and unsanitary! Afterwards, they never offered to clean the carpets!!! They could have nice properties if they didn’t represent slum Lords!
Negative experience: I do NOT recommend renting through Red Door. The house we rented was great, but this company has made the overall experience very difficult. Any maintenance we had done took weeks to months to complete. The communication from Red door has been absolutely horrible. I notified them that we weren’t renewing the lease and never received a response until I emailed them again weeks later. Even after getting confirmation of our move out, they still tried to charge me for a full month of rent after the lease ended. When I asked about it, I didn’t receive a response until days later when they tried to charge me a late fee. As of 6/11 the charges are still there (move out was 5/31), even after sending everything required to the email address provided by the front desk and still have not received a response. Aside from the one girl at the front desk, everyone I’ve emailed or talked to has been incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. I cannot stress enough how terrible their communication is. Moving is stressful enough as is, but this company has made the process extremely frustrating and redundant.
Negative experience: I don’t believe how some companies make money. While looking at one of their properties, I scheduled a showing. When I got there, I never received a code to get into the house. When I called they said they would get back with me. I then made another showing for the same property the next day. When I got there, I once again never received a code to get into the house. When I called I got no answer. This company is completely dysfunctional. They don’t answer the phone. When they do it’s usually rude. Do not rent from this company because they can’t even get their showings right. I can only imagine all of the other things they will mess up. (Check the other reviews for many complaints.)
Fantastic experience: Very prompt very friendly I'm very happy I chose oklahoma red door management for helping with my rental needs, I would highly recommend to anyone.
Fantastic experience: The management team at Oklahoma Reddoor is amazing. Have a problem with household breakdowns, the get on it asap. Thank you all for being such amazing people.
Fantastic experience: My experience, has been great, very they are fast responding, through text, call amd email.
Positive experience: Staff are plansantly friendly and accommodating. This is the best realtor! Mariah is so helpful!
Negative experience: I moved into a house in okc with these people in November with my now ex partner. At that time they were so quick to get us in very little questions asked which was weird to me. I understand why they were so quick an eager to get us into the property now. The floors were uneven, cracks in the foundation I could see the ground outside, poor insulation everything froze over in the cold, etc. anyways fast forward to march I end up having to file a VPO against said partner and quickly move out. After getting my VPO they took 3 weeks to give me new housing management my rental release. They not only gave me the run around but also my new management. They took 3 weeks to give them information that took them 5 minutes to do causing harm to me safety at the time. I had to go up in person and the girl at the desk was nice and handled it for me right then n there. However now ever since moving I keep getting emails about the late rent coupled with a threat of eviction. Why am I getting these when I haven’t lived there in 2 months?? I tried contacting them LAST month about it and low n behold was told someone would call me but never did. Seems like whoever is in charge is always “out on vacation” now I am getting them again this month and have not heard from anyone again. I don’t want ties to this property anymore and shouldn’t ! All around their team needs a lot of work in their communication seriously.
Fantastic experience: Easy showing and easy application. They have nice properties with good prices. Professional staff.
Negative experience: We had scheduled a viewing for a place with them and they didn’t even bother to tell us the viewing was canceled or even reach out to us.
Negative experience: Update: im still puzzles on the how they are getting 3 stars time to contact better business bureau and the health department Crazy how within a short period of time (very short) this company went from 1.8 stars to over 3... Stop having friends 5 star to make you look good. Smdh
Negative experience: I had the Worst experience with your company on Wednesday. Not only did I book a tour as instructed and confirmed via text my viewing, but called the number on email to get help when I arrive at the property after a one hour drive to view, and could not get the code to enter. After multiple phone calls I was told by your customer care that my schedule was canceled because my area code on my phone number did not match my drivers license!?!? What in the world! Then I was told to call back immediately and ask for a property mgmt rep. Which I did to be told that I can not get assistance at this time. You have to be kidding me!!!!! I understand of this is your policy, but maybe text your customers to let them now the viewing is canceled PRIOR to them Drive-in an hour to possibly rent one of your properties and be told they can not view it due to an area code! Wow! How many people move in the same area code Anyhow just wanted to express how disappointed I was and let you know that this treatment is unacceptable.
Fantastic experience: Hello; my name is Nikki, & what an awesome experience I've have the last few days moving in at TreeHouse. Monique has been an exceptional outstanding leasing Manger that got us into a wonderful 1 bedroom apartment. It was a simple smooth move in and honestly without any hiccups! The maintenance personal Camil did a beautiful job on the bathroom and kitchen counter - like WOW, wonderful job done! I defiantly would have to say, I'd recommend TreeHouse to friends/family/ or someone needing a friendly environment to call home!
Fantastic experience: They made the renting and viewing experience so easy. Very quick on returning any questions. Highly recommend
Thank you Jordan! We look forward to having you a part of our Resident family.
Negative experience: If you are looking to have your deposit stolen and 4 months of plumbing issues then they are the place to rent from. I have hired a lawyer and will be suing these slum lords.
Negative experience: Norman ok- Worst prop management I’ve ever seen, unprofessional, unhurried, worst communication, cuts deals with owners so lacking in service to tenants. Had to call health department due to poison thrown in attic, caused a cat to die and maggots falling from vent, “claimed that is not an emergency”. Owner was aware and refused to answer, red door is absolutely the most lazy unprofessional company I have ever heard. Do not rent property if they are the manager.
Positive experience: The property manager for the house I rent was kind enough to review charges and make corrections. She was patient and professional despite me close to blowing a gasket over the charges. I would give them 5 stars if online payment worked and late fees were a bit more reasonable.
Negative experience: Companies like this one is the reason they have to make laws protecting tenants. This has been the worst experience, they do not answer calls or emails and are extremely unprofessional. When asking why my deposit would not be returned to me within 45 days the response was “we did not have a forwarding address” which is not true, they have received it multiple times and did not attempt to call nor email one single time. When asked why our emails and phone calls have not been returned the girl working said “I’m not their boss I can’t make them do their job” as she worked in a different department. They deducted from our deposit with no explanation for weeks. When they did finally respond they said it was due to damage that was there BEFORE we moved in. After sending pictures proving those damages were there, they will not respond. When we call to try to speak with someone they say no one in that department is available and will send us to a voicemail. Listen to the reviews, this company is terrible. Multiple of their “good reviews” are left by people who happen to have the same name as the people that work in the office, and just happened to all be placed at the same time . Don’t be fooled by these people. The girls working are extremely rude and seem so bothered when you do finally get ahold of them. There is no reason to make this process so difficult
Kristina, we regret that you did not see the email sent to you on February 1, 2025 (30 days) post move out requesting your forwarding address. This same email included a statement reflecting that you were charged $30.00 for wall repair. Subsequently, we included a 360 video report of your move out inspection where we applaud your efforts in leaving the home in good condition. This is why you only had $30.00 withheld for the repairs to the bedroom wall where you had your television mounted and filled. We at Oklahoma Red Door take our move out distributions quite seriously and consider ourselves more generous than most Landlords. Unfortunately, we have no record of your returning a move in condition form in December 2022 and our photographs document the walls in good condition.
We regret our staff lines got crossed and the check sat on someones desk in error awaiting mailout once we obtained the forwarding address on the 12th from your December 31, 2024 move out date. and we apologize for the delay
Fantastic experience: Just found this nice rental management, and they have been good so far. Nice staff!
Negative experience: I'm a property owner and used their lease-up service. My property was leased in Nov 2024, but still haven't received tenant's security deposit from them (it's almost Feb 2025). I called so many times last couple of months to solve the issue, but it's so hard to talk to the person in charge. If I can, I want to give them half star. They'll respond well when they want business. but after that, you'll waste so much of your time. Property owners, be aware.
Fantastic experience: We have had great experience through the viewing and application process. Looking forward to being a tenant.
Fantastic experience: Great place to stay. Management is the best she went above and beyond to make sure I moved in by my set goal date
Negative experience: I showed up in this cold, waited never got the door code. These ppl clearly are not trying to rent houses. A joke
Negative experience: They are scam artists... They will attempt to double collect payments. They will lie and state they haven't received notices that there is documented proof They received. After moving out They refused to stop trying to collect rent.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the house Great price for sq footage. Met the owner and he seems awesome. My only complaint is the Emotional Support Animals approval process is very difficult. Maintenance requests are handled promptly. Overall all 5-star experience. Would definitely recommend them.
Fantastic experience: All has been fine with me since I've moved in plan on leasing another year if possible
Fantastic experience: My shower drain in the Treehouse apartments was not draining well and they sent someone over withing a day to fit it and now I have a perfectly draining shower!
Fantastic experience: Has been a fantastic and smooth process so far, they are great at answering questions and super responsive.
Fantastic experience: they are a great management for this complex it used to be loud and obnoxious when i first lived at treehouse now they really cleaned the place up and it’s a quiet area again
Negative experience: I wish I never found this rental agency. Calico corners is a horrible, drug infested, roach infested property. I want out of my lease so badly I’m paying rent to them but I don’t even live there because the property is horrible. Mold, roaches, leaky ac, sewage leaking into unit from neighbors. Takes forever to get anything repaired and no matter how much you communicate this issues they don’t follow through. I WANT OUT OF MY LEASE I DON’T EVEN LIVE IN THE PROPERTY BUT IM STUCK.
Keybo, we regret that you are disappointed in your apartment. Have you read your early termination clause ? That may be helpful in getting out of your lease.
Fantastic experience: monique at treehouse apartments is amazing she went above and beond to make sure the move in Process was a success and she makes sure all the Tenants are taken care of, and treats everyone with the up most respect, and always makes time for you even if she is really busy, on a for reallzz note you couldnt ask for a better property manager then her my whole exsperince has been FANTANSTIC!! i would highly recomend
Positive experience: They’ve been great to work with within the budget we had. They’ve been quick to fix mistakes and get us taken care of.
Negative experience: I don't know where to begin! I've been in the property for 3 years when it was Hoppis. I went from a/c issues, to cracks in flooring and walls, gaps on the floor and doors which air seeps through causing issues with my og&e and had bill fluctuating, foundation shifting the entire house, outside foundation separated from the base of the house, sewer line issues, roof leak, hot water heater being in here since 2004 exploding, broken windows, no screens in the windows so I can't open them and so much more. The communication was little to none. I rarely complain about the small stuff because it isn't worth the hassle. As these being major issues, I can't really fault the property mgmt because everything major goes to the owner. If these owners don't want to fix their property when the matter is small, then they'll have a bigger issue when it's condemned and unlivable! As of recently, Sam, the property manager's asst has been a great help! Even though some things is out of her control, at least she responds! She doesn't have a nasty attitude, like most... and she tries. I know the owner is in control of most things, but the property mgmt suppose to advocate for tenants. I don't like the additional fees we have to pay that we didn't have to pay before. That shouldn't apply to tenants that been here. But thumbs up to Sam, don't switch up please! I'm not a minor issue complainer, I'm a major issue complainer. ADVOCATE FOR YOUR TENANTS!
Negative experience: All I can say is just WOW. I hate that it took me complaining for over a year to get someone to come out and cut down the trees in my yard, but now that it's done I can't be more thankful. I have a fairly large yard and I wasn't able to access a good majority of it due to the excessive foliage around the house. I am extremely satisfied and had it not taken as long as it did I would have most definitely given more stars. ******************************************* Update: Had to take it down from three stars to one, honestly it would've been zero if that were an option. Oklahoma Red Door has truly owned the term "Slum Lord" I blame myself a lot because I let them get away with providing a sub par living environment for entirety too long. If I financially could have moved away sooner I would have. They would allow me to go months at a time with no AC, they had a faulty app that wouldn't allow me to submit maintenance request and when I would try to call, I could only leave voicemails that sat unanswered for months. I was forced to move out due to the conditions being unbearable. Now I pay almost twice what I was paying in rent but it's worth it to have air conditioning and peace of mind
Negative experience: Poor management, never answer phone or voicemails left, when you show up to talk in person they always have an attitude like helping is a pain just cause they don't own the property. then when you give them the deposit they up the rent then what they first told you it was and when you do keep communication about rent they try to break your lease every month by taking you to court to up the late charges, roaches were present, electrical issues, could never lock the front door cause they didnt even know the pin code for it and when lease was up was still served an eviction notice for a month that wasn't even present for. Overall bad experience.
Negative experience: Worst rental company in okc. Maintenance takes forever, customer service is very poor, tried to over charge me on rent a few times, refusals to send documents, attempted to charge me rent after home was turned over to different leasing company.
Lucas, we regret that you had a negative experience with our firm. We rely upon systems set up that auto-generate and sometimes it has posted a charged in the interim of our processing an account. All of our documents are uploaded in your resident portal and provided to your new management company.
We wish you the best and appreciate your feedback so we can improve. Best wishes…
Fantastic experience: Oklahoma Red Door has managed my property for years. They provide excellent customer service and have kept my property occupied. Shout out to Sheila and Pam.
Fantastic experience: I recently moved into a house this year and I absolutely love it…. There were minor issues when I moved in but they were on everything I talked to them about quickly…but overall, I really love my house and I love the area as well!! Thank you!!!!
Negative experience: The office never answers the phone. The property managers never call back from voicemails listing concerns. They have lost one of my light bills months ago and has yet to find or contact me regarding it. It took for me to be locked out of my house twice for them to come change my lock code. The management company is awful and does little to help you whatsoever. I had to call a manager above the property managers to get a call back and a semi decent conversation for the first time ever. Now I’m having issues with my a/c and I’ve been sent to voicemail over and over, and they don’t answer voicemails very quick or at all.
Negative experience: Nothing but issues the moment I moved in . They seem nice , they don’t give 1 care about anybody or anything . They are strictly an answering service between you and the person who owns the house . If the owner doesn’t care to fix the place , they wont either . For them to be an answering service , they are terrible with answering the phone , returning calls , or text . Save your time & money If I could give 0 stars , I would
Positive experience: The place looked descent. The Lady at the front desk seemed nice and was helpful answering questions. And the room she showed me was clean and spacious.
Negative experience: Do not rent from this company unless you are planning on dealing with an unprofessional company that lacks in discipline with running a rental company. Today I received a letter in the mail in regards to renewing my lease when I informed them back in April that I am renewing my lease for a year prior to my lease expiring at the end of May. It took them a month to have someone come out for the inspection for the renewal which they informed me was needed prior to the renewal. They informed me that my name will transfer over to the new lease and that I will continue to pay the same amount for the new lease. Six months later they inform me that they forgot to have me sign a new lease and tacked on an additional $175 to the “new contract” for their mistake. Moral of the story if you want to deal with a company that is unorganized and can not make things right by their own mistakes then this is the rental company for you.
Negative experience: This company doesn't even deserve one star TWO DAYS in a row I was made to wait with my son at a property they claim both showings were self guided tours and that turned out to be a lie then we waited 45 mins two days in a row and no one showed up!!!!!!!!!!!
Negative experience: My husband and myself filled out the application filled the requirements of the $75 never got a response out of them never got an email other than go look at other houses never process my application and I know that it was about my emotional support animals. they are half bully and half pitbull, is there a law against discrimination of pitbull? This is a bad .
Fantastic experience: They made everything very convenient even working on my app on the holidays...they were the best company I have come across in a long time. They go above and beyond for real.
Positive experience: Tree house is improving I had a problem with my floor and mantnience man name Charley came quick and got the job done. Monique also is very friendly and kind she is cleaning the place up well
Negative experience: My ceiling was showing signs of water damage and leaking upon moving in, over the course of the last 10 months the ceiling has actively begun leaking and progressively gotten worse. The company has been aware of this situation for months now and now that I've insisted upon some type of resolution the property manager has refused to answer my attempts at communication.
Fantastic experience: I've already shared a review but I would like to leave another review because Red Door has made our move in process so smooth and efficient!! My new home is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for all the help and easy communication!
Negative experience: Have tried to set up several SELF viewings on a couple houses on a few occasions and every time saying it can’t be verified or get an email back saying it can’t be shown, sometimes the next day. Called in and the receptionist was nice and put me through to the agent of one of the particular houses we were trying to see which went to voicemail and never head back. Won’t be using this management group as this is a clear sign to me how they normally operate. Edit: With your response also shows how much y’all actually look into issues, I have uploaded front of ID and scanned the barcode on the back both of which were accepted. Absolutely no accountability.
Negative experience: I’ve been walking through a flooded hallway for about a month now. Things just fall apart left and right. Mainly due to extremely short screws that are clearly too small to hold anything for long. I’ve sent maintenance requests, only to have them deleted. The shower water backs up into the sink and won’t drain. They scheduled someone to come out and fix it and cancelled when I asked if they could coordinate a time that I was home and not working since my minor children would be there alone. They told me they’d get back to me, it’s now 3 weeks later. The floorboards squish all over the house bc of all the water damage that is developing bc of, I’m guessing, and air conditioning issue. The people running this company are negligent, avoidant, and rude. The owner, Sheila, drives a Porsche—so why is this not getting repaired?? This company used to be called Omega Investments. Apparently they rebranded, and still are not doing their due diligence to keep homes in order. I moved from a beautiful home in the village when my landlord sold the house. Never in my life have I lived in such a poorly managed home. I’m embarrassed to have friends over bc of the ongoing condition of this house. Reading through their responses to these other poor reviews, it’s clear that they are saturated with of lies and avoidance of any and all responsibility. Please trust your gut and find something better. You deserve better than this. If nothing else, I hope this review will save someone else the stress and anxiety that dealing with this company has brought me. This woman needs her license revoked bc I am reading through other reviews and I’m seeing a pattern of the same behaviors and problems that I’ve been dealing with myself. Outrageous.
Positive experience: I'm gonna give them 3 stars for now just based of all the help that we were given out of all the places we had Applied to these people were willing to take a chance on us and we are grate6
Negative experience: I had nothing but issues from the minute I moved in. The property manager never answered her phone or returned vm. The oven was broken when I moved in and it took them 3 weeks to get someone out to fix the issue. It was a 10 minute fix. It would take them forever to get maintenance out to fix issues. My fireplace was never fixed the whole year I lived there. There were a few times at one 3 month period the maintenance was completed more quickly but that didn't last long. I had a leak in the back bedroom that sat there for 6 months developing mold. I reported it on 1/1/2024 and when I moved on 6/9/24 there was still mold. They never sent anyone out even after me calling multiple times. Their excuse was always that they were waiting on the house owner to approve the requests but you could see on the app where the owner would approve it and they would just take their time getting the information to maintenance or not bother sending anyone at all. The only time I got anything done was if I went up to the office and demanded to speak with someone. I even called and asked to speak with the owner and never got a response either. Also when I put in my 30 day notice they demanded that I go and do a walk through where i was expected to take pictures of all parts of the property including the roof and told me if I didn't complete it within 48 hours they were going to charge me $75 but they themselves were in no rush to get any of the issues in the house fixed in a timely manner. I've never been asked to do an expectation of the property at any property I've lived in except at move in. From someone who moves quite often, I can say they are the worst rental company I've ever used. I do not recommend.
Desiree, I regret that you have had a bad experience. Oklahoma Red Door disclosed that they do not own the property and that this Owner handles their own maintenance. Sadly, we have no authority to override a property owners decision.
We do appreciate you and wish you the best in your new home.
Negative experience: You can kiss your deposit goodbye. They have slumlords who charge you for everything even when they gave u a destroyed home. Bug infested too. Worst property management I’ve ever used. U can see my photos are time stamped for last year when I first moved in. They charged me for these things and they were all documented on the move in checklist. These are just a sample of the photos I took.
Positive experience: I would like to tell you that Ashley has been a great person to deal with. She does a great job in scheduling around my schedule and making sure that things are done in a timely manner.
Negative experience: Red Door Property Management lacks integrity and professionalism. I have experienced electrical issues with the lighting and electrical outlets and major pest issues ranging from ants, cockroaches, a vast array of spiders, etc,. The insulation in the home is very poor. You can see the outdoors simply by looking at the cracks in the doors. The foundation of this house has major plumbing issues and due to the negligence on behalf of Red Door Property Management the plumbing issue is gradually getting worse. I notified Red Door that my toddler and I have been sick due to this issue. After extremely long delays, they perform a quick fix by snaking the drains which in turn leaves the root of the issue neglected. The NE bedroom floods when the water runs in the bathroom. The bathroom wall paint is peeling due to mold damage. The floors in the bathroom, hallway and NE bedroom are rotting from water and mold damage. Due to this negligence I have had to endure insurmountable pest to no avail. It has now been over a week and I am not able to shower, bathe or utilize the bathroom properly. This company also discriminates against individuals with nonviolent/non sex offender backgrounds that are 7+ years old. I was denied years ago based on my background, yet after fraud, theft and being swithched from 3 different leasing agents which were Omega Properties, Jameson Realty and Hoppis Property Management, yet here I am dealing with this life altering issue. I wouldn't recommend this company for Property Management or for rental agreements. It appears to be about money and not about the safety of their tenants from my experience. Red Door Property Management has a very low morale, lacks integrity and professionalism.
Good evening. As we have no way to connect this reviewer with an address, I can tell by the context that we likely inherited your property from another management company. As we are not the Owners of any properties in which we manage, Owners do have the right to handle their own maintenance or request that we obtain multiple estimates for more expensive repairs. Again, by reading your review, sounds like you had a sewer back up and a plumber was able to get the line cleared while the cause is being discussed with the Owner along with recommended resolves. To check the status of the service requests and where the repair is in the process, you can log in to your portal at okreddor.com and view the notes under the Service Ticket resolution box.
As far as our screening, we do outline our requirements on the website where they can easily be seen prior to anyone submitting an application. These restrictions may not make someone with a background happy however our Owners are assured that when someone is approved, we have brought in the best representative to care for their home.
If you do not feel safe in your home, please visit the Oklahoma Tenant Landlord Act or our Resident Handbook, both published on our website, for the property steps to get out of your lease agreement.
Negative experience: Don't do it, even if you have the rental spotless, they hit you with petty charges after taking your deposit. They are all about making their money. then they threaten you about your credit score if u don't pay their petty charges, even when the owner says there is nothing wrong with the rental.
