Negative experience: We had Alex as a landlord…… fast forward to 2022 we lived in this rental for 8 years. Then all of a sudden they said you have 60 days to leave. When you discriminate against a single mother and her disabled daughter and push them out fast, hardly giving them enough time to pack And stealing their stepstool in the process. You get a nasty review. Including when you did a walk-through when we were still in the house That is illegal.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Dwell Realty and Brett on my recent move from Colorado to Rochester, Minnesota. Brett was an amazing person to work with and he provided top notch support. My case was a little odd as we were looking pretty early in the process and Brett accommodated us with no issues. He provided a ton of information up front set us up with some automated tools to find possible options, facilitated virtual walk throughs of homes and a ton of general advice as Colorado and Minnesota are quite different. Once we had chosen a home, Brett was on the ball and made sure that we were constantly moving in the right direction. He organized the inspection so we could be present when it happened as well. Finally as closing drew closer, Brett was in constant contact to ensure the process was moving forward. He worked with my Son who is a Rochester resident to do the final walk through of the property and that sealed the deal. Brett is a joy to work with, he has tons of industry knowledge, and really treats people right. I wouldn't hesitate and will recommend Brett and Dwell to anyone looking for a home in Rochester.

Negative experience: Working with Dwell Realty and Georges Montillet is an absolute disaster. Georges agreed to a verbal offer on a house in Rochester and then later backed out of our offer which he agreed on. Secondly, after emailing the buying agents that the bidding was done at 5pm on Friday Dec 15th, George and his client accepted an offer several hours afterwards. Georges and Dwell Realty do not keep their word and just know that if you are given their word on a verbal agreement to own your new home and an agreed upon price, that it might not happen, like it did for us.
