Fantastic experience: We recently had the pleasure of working with Joe Crew at Rosenblum Realty in selling a home from out of state. As we approached this sale, we had a great deal of anxiety about the process. My father had moved out of state to be closer to family, and we had few friends and no family we could rely on locally. As we worked toward committing to a seller's agreement, Joe met with us several times to ensure we understood the process and to address the challenges we faced. He explained the mechanics of an out of state sale, worked through the expected costs and provided a reasonable timeline. However, what sets Joe apart is what happened after we signed on. Like many sellers the house was in fine shape, but it was lived in, and it showed in some areas. Joe worked with us to identify where we might have problem areas but was also able to share experiences that empowered us to make informed decisions on what repairs really needed to be made. He arranged countless estimates and worked with each company to make sure we were getting exactly what we needed. Much to my surprise, in nearly every case he was able to negotiate a far better price than we’d hoped. He checked in on the place dozens of times and made sure everything was taken care of during unusual weather. Working with Joe and Rosenblum Realty was like working with a trusted friend “in the business”. In the end we got a great price, smooth process, and a realtor in that area for life.

Negative experience: Application filled and fees paid. You placed inquiry on credit and to every contact. 2 months after, not a word back. I find this service totally unprofessional. Clients can be treated better. Non approval is not a life sentence.

Negative experience: I have had the worst experience with Rosenblum. They are disorganized (which caused issues with our water bill and countless other maintenance issues in a brand new build rental home). I was passed around person to person with the same issue for over a year. I was told to call back the next year after the holidays. The problem was fixed right before the 2 year mark. If you think they will manage your rental home like your own, think again. Issues could have been addressed much quicker (could have been the owner) but poor communication all around. My final straw is making us pay to have the carpet professionally cleaned, me cleaning the home with a set of cleaners and being emailed by M Rosenblum himself commencing the state in which we left the home but them coming back and charging me $320 to have it cleaned again. I reached out and left two voicemail, no response about the cleaning fee or my mail. I also am the MOST upset because they have no common humanity. I have not receieved mail in almost 3 months. My mail is going to the old house (the Rosenblum house) and it hasn't been switched (ive gone to the post office 15 times) and they said the mail takes 30-60 days to swap over. I called and all but begged for Rosenblum to please let me come get a key OR send an employee with me to open the keyed mailbox to get my child's genetic test (cheek swap) out and they refused. Told me the post office can help me. The post office will not help me. It would be so easy to send someone from the office in the area showing homes to open it and give me my mail. I still dont have my child's genetic test. Its been 2 months. Ive called and called. Left the last voicemail this past weekend. They will not call me back. Inhumane, not empathetic and the poorest communication ive seen in a business. If someone is out of the office, that voicemail box goes unattended to. No one else gets your messages. I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY MAIL OR ANY RESPONSE ABOUT AN UNNECESSARY CLEANING FEE. Murphy Lane

Negative experience: I've been a landlord over the past 12 years and have never worked with a property management company as unprofessional and despicable as Rosenblum. After they approved an applicant to rent my house, they told me her move-in date as per her application was in 2 weeks. Turns out, she had to delay her move-in by another 2 weeks yet Rosenblum never communicated this to me. They simply allowed the tenant to change her move-in date and it was only after not receiving the full month of rent that I found out about this. Later on, the tenant got sick and blamed the house for her sickness even though it was a new build and I had it professionally inspected before purchase. The builder company agreed to have it inspected and tested by a third party to give us peace of mind yet Rosenblum was on the side of the tenant from the start. Before we even got the results of the inspection and testing, Michael Rosenblum called me with his lawyer to pressure me to accept a deal with the tenant where I had to refund her all months of rent she paid to avoid a lawsuit. It became clear at that point that Rosenblum had only the interests of the tenant in mind. After rejecting Ronseblum's deal, hiring a lawyer and receiving the results of the inspection and testing it was confirmed that the house was not causing the illness of the tenant. I also found out that there's no legal precedent that would have given the tenant a case even if she had had one and that Rosenblum has a reputation for being a single-sided company that only cares about themselves. Rosenblum will always be on the side of the tenant for a simple reason: they get money from companies in Huntsville that are relocating employees to Alabama to help them find housing which far exceeds the property management fees they get from homeowners. This conflict of interest results in an unprofessional and unethical company that does not have any sense of responsibility towards homeowners and treats them like a replaceable commodity.

Fantastic experience: After almost 2 years with Rosenblum here are my observations 1) The staff is extremely courteous, especially Dana who is very responsive and gets back to me within minutes if i need any information 2)i have properties in Atlanta too which is managed by different company and the commission from Rosenblum Realty is very competitive and fair 3)They dont rip you off when it comes to repairs. Note: i had submitted a 3 star review when i first started since time to market took long at that time, but its all good now.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Nate here at this company. He went above and beyond to get me a home and get me one quickly. The ladies in the office were so kind and so generous and so patient with me. I just been going through a divorce and needed a home quickly for me and my dog, and not only did I get something quick but they also Went above them. They should be able to get me in this home. I bought a single family home as an investment, and since I live in California, it was extra important to have a great property manager. When I first bought the property, I flew out, met with, and decided to use the property manager/ broker of the realtor who helped me purchase the home. That was a fiasco. Then I hired another property manager who seemed professional and hard working. After four months of the home sitting vacant, and poor communication with the property manager, I decided to fly back out to figure out in person what was wrong. What I found was a property that was clearly abandoned, with high weeds, everywhere. Of course it hadn't rented! It looked like a haunted house! I fired that property manager (who never even apologized), and decided to really spend time looking for someone I could rely on. I was impressed with the reviews I found online and decided to give Rosenblum Realty a call. I met with Nate, at the house, we came up with a strategy, and while I was still in town he sent over people to clean up the yard, power wash the house and the deck, change out the ceiling fans and A/C filter and do a few other minor things. His communication was on-point, and he answered any questions I had. I am now really happy that the property is rented to qualified tenants, and I am confident that using Rosenblum Realty is hands- down the only way to go in the Huntsville area. If you are looking for a proactive, professional, communicative, EFFECTIVE property manager, definitely call Rosenblum Realty FIRST!

Fantastic experience: Granville Logan at Rosenblum Realty is BY FAR the best realtor I've ever dealt with, who stuck with me on my long 4 year effort to find a great house after moving to Huntsville in 2019. When I moved to Sacramento in 2006 I got burned when I went with a friend-of-a-friend who had just jumped on the realtor bandwagon in a booming market, and in hindsight his lack of experience caused him to give terrible advice - I ended up defaulting, and I'm lucky I didn't lose even more money buying the "most you can afford" oversized houses he tried to steer me to, telling me the market couldn’t go down. I learned the hard way to choose someone that had experience with both housing market booms AND busts. With that in mind when I moved to Huntsville in 2019 I asked around, and a coworker recommended Granville. Finding the right house for me was much more difficult than for most clients. I'm single, want to get a dog, and love home theater surround sound with a big subwoofer. Being single, I preferred a smaller house. The home theater/subwoofer ruled out condos/townhomes because of the adjoining neighbors, and ruled out most smaller modern homes with small living rooms and most pre-90's homes with narrow living rooms. Wanting a dog-friendly backyard ruled out most newer homes with ever-smaller and/or narrower lots. We probably looked at a hundred houses over the course of 4 years, and made several offers (one time, I offered 30K over-asking, “as-is”, and came in 3rd out of 18 offers). But it was the times when Granville was unavailable that I really came to appreciate him. First was when I found the first house I wanted to buy, but unfortunately Granville was representing the seller as well, so I had to use a young guy, who didn't explain to me Alabama does offers with base prices and escalator clauses, rather than how in California you make an initial offer and the seller gives you a chance to outbid the highest offer - I got barely outbid. The second time Granville was out of town for a funeral, so another realtor had to show me a house, and wow, the contrast was striking - she spent all the time trying to sell me on the foreclosed house, dismissing concerns I had about visibly sloppy repair work, and snarky that I hadn’t bought a house before prices had shot up. Granville is the ultimate pro who knows his stuff, who will steer you away from bad choices and advise you when a particular house is a great investment. As it turned out, the last house he showed me was the best house I saw in 4 years - a 1900 sqft house in Providence. I was immediately skeptical - when I moved to Huntsville in 2019 I watched the morning/evening traffic on Google Maps each day and could see the commute along Hwy 72 and Rideout Rd was a nightmare, so I focused only on South Huntsville (and later also Zierdt Rd north of Martin Rd). Also, I thought there was no way 1900 sqft would have a “home theater” sized living room, but was amazed to see it was a whopping 25x19! The lot was 1/4 acre and the backyard was a good, squarish, usable size for a dog. I drove to see it directly from work at 6pm, and it took only 12 minutes to get there! I'd forgot the Rideout Rd construction had finished and now traffic moved really fast, while the Providence location let me bypass Hwy 49 and take the Oakwood exit. No surprise, Granville was right about the house. I fretted that even in this high interest rates "down" market these sorts of great houses still sell the same day (Zillow predicted it would sell faster than 99% of homes), but again Granville was the advantage – he said ValleyMLS was having problems the last couple days and realtors couldn’t get comps from it, most were just sitting around until it was fixed, so if we moved FAST before there were other offers we might get it because the owner had to sell that month. I took his advice on the offer numbers, got the house, and I absolutely love it! Thank you Granville for your years of hard work and patience with me!

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Rosenblum works for renters only, not landlords. They did nothing about it when the renters had unplugged smoke detectors in my house (if a fire had occured, I would not have been able to even use home insurance!!), caused a huge leak that caused me to replace the entire sheetrock in one room which shows Rosenblum doesn't rent to the best renters as they should have notified of the issues much sooner. Also missed out on selling my home as Rosenblum refused to help me release the tenants. Def would not use again.

Fantastic experience: When I was looking for a realtor to sell my house I interviewed several agents, but I liked Michael the most. Michael is very professional and respectful to work with. I needed to sell my house in a very short amount of time and Rosenbaum Realty found me a perfect buyer. Selling or buying a property can be a very stressful process, but Michael walked me through it and helped me at each step of it. I would choose Michael as my agent again to sell or buy a property.

Fantastic experience: In May 2023, we bought two rentals in Huntsville using agent Nate Woodall of Rosenblum Realty. Both properties were new construction. We do not live in Huntsville, so we had to rely on Nate to do far more than what is typical - including attending the home inspection for us and negotiating and interacting with the builder on our behalf. Nate went above and beyond to assist us and we can't speak highly enough of him. As a retired real estate broker who was in the business for 36 years - I know how to judge when an agent has good skills and is providing good customer service. Nate is an excellent Realtor. But the benefits did not end there. Once we closed, Nate and Rosenblum Realty then provided property management for the two properties. The process for us was seemless for us. We used to manage my own rentals, so we know how much is involved in property management. Rosenblum Realty really has this process down - and they have provided superb customer service. We give very high marks to Nate Woodall and to Rosenblum Realty - and are looking for them to be our property managers for many years to come.

Negative experience: We performed work at a property for this company, but some of the work was not up to par. No excuse, our crew missed the mark on some of the repairs. I exchanged e-mails with the owner and we discussed a substantial discount to have some of the work re-done by another vendor. Three months have past and no check for the difference has been received from them. Our e-mails are being ignored so we placed a lien on the property to protect our interest.

Negative experience: As an owner Rosenblum gets one star. If you are a renter, you most likely will give them at least 4 stars. I had to move to another company after years of trying to get Rosenblum folks out to inspect my house twice a year and actually hold tenants accountable for damage or breaking things. I spent nearly 10k on repairs, appliances, and painting to get the place back up to par from renters. I complained after I replaced most of my appliances 2 times in 4 years. No accountability from the renters was noted. When I had enough I went with another property manager.

Fantastic experience: Rosenblum Realty has been managing my rental property for over 20 years. Their service has been 5 star and communication excellent. Most of all they have done a great job of keeping my property leased.

Negative experience: Regarding Rosenblum property management: Rosenblum Realty managed my rental property in Hampton Cove for about 5 years, at which point it became apparent that my rent rate, measured by rent per square foot of house, was THE lowest in the area. By the time I found this out, I was AT MINIMUM $300 a month below the fair market value. When I brought this up to Michael Rosenblum, he said that they provide market research upon request, whereas my current property management company automatically performs this service on a regular, annual basis, to make sure their clients don't fall behind in rent like I did. After switching to a different property management company, who has been great to work with - very responsive - they advised me to increase rent by $600 a month. After this switch, I learned from my tenant that Rosenblum Property Management was difficult to work with, slow in responding, and more interested in complaining about their work load than taking care of a problem.

Fantastic experience: great experience working with Rosenblum. We contacted a total of four realty agencies with three providing minimal products for consideration and comparison. Only Rosenblum provided a tailored in-depth package that was easy to review and understand. Their responses were timely and we were involved in every decision.
